This office is so high tech and modern that it made my appointment very easy from start to finish. I was impressed at how friendly the whole staff was and how they made me feel welcome. Dr. Walker really took the time to explain my dental condition and even gave me a mirror so that I could learn how to better take care of my teeth and gums at home. Thank you 17th Street Modern Dentistry for taking such good care of me during my recent dental check up. I look forward to my next appointment with Dr Walker and his team.

The dentistry is not my favorite place, to be honest. But Dr. Walker made me feel very comfortable and at ease from the first minute. He is kind, knowledgeable and gentle which is a great + when you’re in that seat.
The staff was great too, the place is brand new and super clean, great location, plenty of free parking around.
As part of the special they’re running currently, I got a home whitening kit and a new patient goodie bag as a gift. I felt rewarded like a little kid for behaving good haha.
I could not recommend them more. Truly a very positive experience, which I never thought would say after a visit to the dentist. Will be back for sure!

I don’t usually get too excited over a dentist’s office – but this one is different. I moved to Costa Mesa recently and needed a new dentist after having the same dentist my entire life. I called in – absolutely clueless about what information I needed – and Jenny helped me through the entire process. She was able to find and verify all of my insurance information, get my past records from my old office, AND book me a same day appointment!
Brandon and Dr. Walker took care of my X Rays and cleaning. They were extremely thorough and explained each step to me, making sure that I felt informed and comfortable. They were also extremely friendly and made me feel like family.
The office is clean and modern inside with a welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely be recommending this office to my friends in the future!

Great experience! I have been putting off seeing the dentist for the typical reasons. After a few promising referrals, I decided to check this place out. First off, the $59 first time offer for cleaning and X rays is unbeatable.
From the moment I called the office to the time I walked out the door, I received the best level of hospitality and care from everyone I interacted with.
Jenny, the office manager was so friendly and assuring on the phone, providing very thorough details and info. Brandon and Brenda who took x-rays and set up the room were also very warm and friendly.
I saw Dr. Walker and was very impressed with his bedside manor. It’s obvious he really cares about his patients and provided me with impeccable care. He was also very thorough and took the time to chat and answer all my questions and concerns. I never got the feeling I was being taken advantage of at all (which was one of my fears).
Paige is an excellent hygienist who was gentle and also extremely friendly and sweet.
I very much appreciated the way they spoke to me about the different service options and payments that were offered based on what I needed. There was no pressure, and I plan to return for further treatment.
I highly recommend checking this place out. I was very pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. It honestly felt like I had known everyone for a while. You can tell this place has a good operation going, as everyone seems to be happy with their working environment. Good vibes all around!!

Who would think that going for dental work would be such a pleasant experience? Just moved to Costa Mesa and finally have dental insurance through work… a coworker recommended Dr. Walker, so I switched over and took the first appointment I could get! The receptionist was so sweet and friendly and let me know how much everything would cost upfront! Major plus. Brandon was awesome and helped me with all my X-rays. All of the equipment here is new and I felt like my exam was VERY thorough. Dr. Walker is attentive, personable and takes his time with each patient… My hygienist, Paige Katz was also amazing, kind and super knowledge. Walked away extremely happy, feel super comfortable and confident to come back for follow ups… All around great team, in a great location!

Had the best experience here. The Doctor was very nice, professional, and informative. Had my cleaning with Paige who made the whole process easy. She is so sweet and good at what she does. I had a deep cleaning which meant my entire mouth had to be numb and it took over an hour, but Paige made the entire process comfortable, even the numbing injections. The office is pretty and clean. The front office staff members are also awesome, super friendly and helpful.

It’s been 20 years since I’ve had any work done at a dentist
I’ve developed a phobia and just stoped going altogether
I thought if I just didn’t go things would be fine, well that didn’t turn out to be the case.
I reached out to 17th St. modern dentistry because of the reviews.
I am so glad I did, what a wonderful experience all the way around, I can’t think of one negative thing possible to say.
They made me feel so comfortable, no pressure, answered all my questions, the staff was amazing and friendly
I had a deep scale cleaning after many many years, not one hiccup or any pain, I was extremely pleased and felt so comfortable I thought I was going to go to sleep.
I have to go back in a couple days and get six teeth pulled.
Believe it or not I am actually OK with this because of who I am dealing with.
I literally cannot say enough nice things about this establishment.
I trust Dr. Walker and his judgment I wouldn’t even question it.
My family wanted me to get second opinion, no way, I couldn’t imagine even attempting to find someone more caring than 17th St. modern dentistry, so I will not be trying that.
All the equipment is state of the art as far as I could tell.
Every person in the building treated me with kindness and had a smile.
It’s funny I actually didn’t even want to leave I just wanted to keep getting all of my work done
What a wonderful place I can’t say enough about it.

Such a beautiful office and the staff are so friendly! But more importantly, Dr Walker and his team are EXTREMELY thorough and communicate every aspect from the process, to the problem, to the solution and even finance. My daughter and I have visited twice this month (we’ve got some fun work ahead of us ), but finding 17th Street has made this journey back to healthy teeth one that I am literally excited about. I highly recommend 17th Street Modern Dentistry. I haven’t visited a dentist in a long time so I knew that I was bound to have some cavities and bad teeth. However, the staff and dentist there didn’t judge me but rather helped me by planning an attack on how to get get rid of the cavities and how to improve my oral hygiene.
The first staff I met was Jenny who was very cheerful and enthusiastic. She made sure that I understood everything that was going to happen and any questions I had, she answered in a clear and concise way. Then I got to meet Mr. Walker, and this was before the appointment. He just popped out and just wanted to say hi to me and shake my hand. I also met with his other assistants and they were all very helpful and down to earth. They would just ask how your day was and just talk with you. My X-ray examination was very well done and thorough.
Dr. Walker is very through with his work and makes sure to get all the small details. He never leaves the job half done and even when it’s done, he double and triple checks. I also had Dr. Hayashi who did my root canal, and dear lord is he fast. Not fast and sloppy, but fast and precise. He finished me up in about 30~45 min.
Overall, I enjoyed my visit there and I do apologize for those that are reading this review that it’s long but that’s how much I wanted to share my experience with them. They definitely deserve your time and if you are every thinking of finding a regular dentist office, this is the place.

Honestly the best Dentist in OC. I’ve been all around shopping for a great dentist because I have a weird phobia and after searching for years this place wins!
Paige and Dr. walker are so empathetic and genuine. They care deeply about their patients and I actually enjoyed my visit! Paige did my deep cleaning and literally had me laughing the whole time! Dr. Walker took all of my fears away by asking personal questions about me before getting right into “dentist” chat and really went above and beyond to meet and greet me before I went back.
The ambiance is incredibly laid back and you’ll be welcomed by a very friendly staff. .. they Even are playing cool fun music. Jonathan who checked me in and out was incredibly diligent with the process and did whatever he could to make sure that I felt comfortable at all times
The X ray process was even amazing. Brandon was so helpful and made the x ray experience seamless.
If you’re new to the area or looking for a new dentist this has it all!

If you are looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend this establishment.
I had been putting off going to the dentist for several years, because of a past experience at another dentist office in CDM.
I wanted to get my teeth cleaned and Dr. Clint Walker was listed as a provider with my dental insurance plan. I called and was impressed from the first conversation I had with the receptionist. She was so pleasant! I met with Dr. Walker a week later for my cleaning. The office is very nicely decorated, very modern and all staff members were kind and provided excellent customer service. In each treatment room, there is a flat screen monitor that a patient can watch TV Dr. Walker greeted me with a smile and was super friendly. He showed me pictures of my teeth and why he was recommending a deep cleaning and repair of 2 fractured old silver fillings. I felt extremely comfortable with his recommendations and decided to proceed.
When I went in for my repairs, yesterday, I was a bit scared since I hadn’t had any dental procedures for awhile. Dr. Walker made me feel comfortable and communicated with me every step of the way. This is the coolest part: He has a 3D printer in the office that makes the crowns while you wait. I did not have to get a temporary crown and come back again and get more shots! I was able to watch the crowns being made by the 3D printer! So neat!!!
Another great example of personal customer service is that Dr. Walker remembered that I mentioned how much I loved the country music he was playing in the office during my first visit. During my visit yesterday, he asked me if I would like for him to put country music on, and of course, I said yes. 🙂

I’m so glad my insurance company suggested 17thSMD! The staff is so professional and genuinely kind. It was nice not having to wonder if the receptionist was having a bad day like many people have experienced with other dentist offices. I love how informative everyone was through the cleaning, the x-rays and the checkup! I will definitely be back and have even talked my husband into switching to this office!
