Dr. Park and his staff are the best! I recommend 4th & Madison Dental for anyone looking for convenient customer service oriented dental care in Downtown Seattle. I work in South Lake Union but live on Bainbridge Island so the location on 4th & Madison is easy to access via walk, car or bus. The reception team is welcoming as well as accommodating. Several times I have had to reschedule appointments due to work at the last minute. Through the easy to use online system, I have had quick response and rescheduling. Upon arrival every time, the entire team greets me by name as if they are all looped into who is coming in that day- and they care about being hospitable.  Dr. Park is also friendly and insightful. He definitely gives his expert opinion of dental care but ultimately leaves the decisions up to me for what path to take while considering time, cost and of course, the procedure itself.  The dental team is extremely knowledgeable as well as gentle. In and out in 30 minutes with a gleaming smile for an end result- Yes please!  Thank you Dr. Park and team!

I first made an appointment with Dr. Park after my daughter recommended him to me. I had a couple of loose baby teeth that were no longer going to stay with me through the remainder of my adult life, so I had to makes some decisions on replacing them. Dr. Park explained the different options, one of which included implants. In addition, he also suggested that if I wanted my teeth straightened that this might also be a good time to do so. He introduced me to the Invisalign procedure! I cannot be happier that I made this choice. They were so easy to exchange out every two weeks and in one short year, my teeth look great, and without the hassle and discomfort of metal braces. I’d been thinking of getting them straightened for a very long time but now, after such a great experience, I wish I hadn’t waited so long! Thank you Dr. Park and your wonderful staff for making this such a positive experience for me!

I have been to a lot of dentists over the years; Dr. Park is by far the best. He and his excellent staff are the best I have ever dealt with. After years of grinding my teeth, my prior dentist told me that they were basically beyond repair. Dr. Park studied my case, and literally saved me from losing my teeth. I can now eat whatever I like and am no longer afraid to smile. But don’t take my word for it; ask Dr. Park to see my “before and after” pictures. You have my permission….you have to see them to believe them. As far as I’m concerned, Dr. Park and his wonderful staff all walk on water.

I love love love these guys! Everyone here is the best at what they do. They have been super helpful letting me make payments on some unexpected work that i needed and could not afford at the time. Thank you so much you guys. you are the best! I can’t believe I left this out. If you refer just 1 patient they will give you free 1 session of teeth whitening. The expensive one that’s done in one session. I will have to update this review after I get mine because I finally got someone else to become patient. That’s not easy because most people have someone they already go to. I think the session costs like $800 and you get it free. Can’t wait!

I’m one of those folks that hates going to the dentist–but I don’t ever have to worry about coming in to see Dr. Park and his staff. This office is great. I’ve had filling done and general cleaning and all has gone smoothly with as very little pain as I can expect. Dr. Park is kind, gentle, and listens. Which I need because I get easily frightened! The staff is very friendly and professional. I made the mistake of seeing another doctor briefly and rushed back to 4th & Madison after I realized the difference in quality care. I highly recommend. 🙂

Like many people, I’m wary of dentists and a bit, um, emotionally scarred from the incompetent ones I’ve had in the past. It’s a big deal to trust someone with your teeth! I found Fourth and Madison years ago when I worked downtown, and I refuse to change dentists now even though it’s now a thirty minute drive for me to get there. They are just SO ridiculously nice, SO caring, and SO calming. Dr. Park knows what he’s doing and has great judgment but lets you make your own decision. He’s never pushed dental work that isn’t truly necessary or that’s overly aggressive. All the dental hygienists are gentle and lovely. Sheryl at the front desk is the sweetest human ever. You will feel like you’re in safe hands here.

I (unfortunately) have had some extensive dental work done recently, and I was not excited about it. If you hate the dentist, 4th and Madison will make you hate it less.Cheryl, the receptionist, is an absolute sweetheart and will ask how you’re doing. The catch? She actually cares. It’s nice. Dr Park is meticulous and clearly takes patient care and “chairside” manner very seriously. A kind man who is good at what he does. My first visit there, which was just a cleaning, was so thorough. They even got a little camera so I could check out their work. I have had nothing but positive experiences with the hygienists, but Sunita is my favorite. She has a very calming presence and explains everything.

Dr. Park and his staff helped me get over my fear of the dentist. I had been terrified to get into the dentist’s chair for 18 years, and thanks to Dr. Park’s calm demeanor and efficiency I no longer have to worry about finding a good trustworthy dentist. The staff are extremely friendly and all greet you by name, and the receptionist is kind and patient. They take payments as well, and are flexible with the repayment plan if your insurance doesn’t cover as much as you thought.

I have been a long time patient of Dr. Park and I’m really distressed about all the bad reviews that have popped up recently. Also, why is yelp filtering out all the good reviews he’s received? I’ve had multiple fillings done here and Dr. Park is gentle, quick, and fun to be around. His staff is awesome! I highly recommend this office.

Dr. Park, Sunita and the rest of the team at 4th & Madison Dental are fabulous!  I’ve had multiple dental implants, crowns and my wisdom teeth pulled in the last couple of years.  Everyone is so gentle.  They do a great job of making sure I feel calm during these difficult procedures.  I recommend them to everyone!

Very professional dentist with a great bedside manner. Friendly and helpful staff. I’ve had everything from cleanings and fillings, to crowns and wisdom tooth extraction with very little to no pain. All recommendations for treatment are laid out clearly with a plan and different payment options available. Highly recommend!

Five fully deserved stars.  Dr. Park and the staff here are wonderful!  They are kind, careful and do great work.  I’ve been going here for about 8 years; even during years that I did not work or live in Downtown Seattle.  I have had everything from root canals to crowns and have always been pleased.  Highly recommended.

I wouldn’t have even thought to have written a review for this dental practice had it not been for the astonishingly negative reviews I saw when I came to this page. What I see here for the most part does not reflect my personal experience with this business and I decided to write this to make it clear this is a high-quality establishment and it shocks me that some of the ratings here would reflect otherwise. Having been a patient of the practice for many years I have had a few procedures performed aside from my usual cleanings, and each procedure’s necessity was explained carefully and clearly to me by Dr. Park. This combined with the manageable payment plan the office manager helped me set up and the gentleness with which the procedures were done made for as pleasant an experience as you could hope to have at a dental office. The staff is incredibly kind, calling me by my name and making me feel like a person and not just another patient, and I also have to commend the efficient yet careful work that is done by the doctor, the assistants and hygienists, and the front office workers. I would hope it is understood that the negative reviews here do not reflect the majority of patients. Everyone I have talked to during my visits has never been anything but satisfied with their experience at the practice. As a sidenote I wonder about the filtered reviews shown at the bottom…are they all positive reviews that have been shelved? Wondering about the filtering system and if that might be affecting the rating shown. Hm. Needless to say I would recommend 4th and Madison without hesitation.

I could not believe how awesome the staff was at 4th & Madison Dental. It had been several years since my last dental exam, and even though I was pretty sure that I had a couple cavities, I waited as long as possible before making an appointment. After the way my experience went, I feel silly for having waited so long. When I called, I was able to get a new patient appointment a mere two business days later, and was able to get some dental work done in the same session. In fact, dispite the embarassing number of fillings I needed, they were able to get all of them completed AND my wisdom teeth pulled over the course of three days. At no point did anyone berate me for going so long between cleanings/exams, and the staff– all of them– were fantasticly helpful. From the chipper receptionist who gave me a cost estimate before any work was done, to the hygenist and dental assistants who helped keep me calm, to both of the very talented and gentle dentists themselves; this is one business very worthy of their positive reviews.

Great staff all the way from the front desk to Dr. Park himself. He is very qualified and has the best bedside Manor of any Dr. I’ve ever seen. He has this extraordinary calm demeanor about him and makes me feel completely comfortable. I was very nervous the first time I went in for an exam/cleaning because from late childhood I had always had the same dentist and had always been given nitrous oxide for all of my dental procedures. I moved out of state and was forced to find a new dental care provider. Come to find out during my first appt. that he did not have nitrous oxide available. I decided not to go back to him, but that plan got derailed when one Thanksgiving I bit down on something hard and broke off half of my tooth. He so happened to be on-call for emergencies so I went ahead and went in. The tooth wasn’t hurting but it was very jagged and had sharp edges. He took a look gave me a couple of shots of novacaine and began shaving down the edges of the tooth. All the sudden he stopped and announced calmly that I would have to have a root canal! I was scared to death and began to panic and cry. The dentist got irritated with me and was a total ass! It was a very traumatic experience and I didn’t seek out another dental provider until moving to Seattle. This time I made sure before going to my first appt. That I would be able to have nitrous. They do have it! Insurance doesn’t cover it so it’s a separate charge of $65.00 but so well worth it to me. Sorry for the long winded story…to sum it up, if you want an amazing dentist with a wonderful, caring staff then you can’t go wrong with Dr. Park

I’ve been seeing Dr. Park and his staff for almost a decade and have always been happy with his work.  When I saw Dr. Park for the first time I was so anxious and refused to smile because of my teeth.  I had lost a lot of bone in my upper jaw and needed and very long bridge – about 7-8 teeth.  Dr. Park promised me he’d fix my mouth and he did just that and was able to ease my anxiety about my situation.  I have the most amazing bridge and he restored my self confidence.  That front office staff is excellent and friendly and I love my hygienist.  As much as I hate going to the dentist, I always know my experience will be good.  If you are looking for a dentist office – check them out!

Let Cheryl at the front desk deal with insurance while Tiffany takes great care cleaning your teeth. You won’t notice because of her great personality! Then Dr. Park has the best manner with his calm, reassuring ways. 5 Stars definitely!

Started going here 4 years ago when our office moved to Seattle. The doctor is patient and has good advice. He doesn’t push an agenda, just what you are comfortable with. I have had four old fillings replaced with no problems. My hygienist Tiffany is super. I can’t believe that she can remember personal details like my kids ages, but that personal touch is great. Front desk staff is outstanding.

I have been coming here for a couple of years. The entire staff has always been great. Dr. Park is so calm and soft spoken and hasn’t suggested anything I don’t need. He is even working with me to get some chips on my front teeth from when I was younger and thought they were all purpose tools fixed. Today I was scheduled for a teeth whitening procedure and Cheryl advised against it because I haven’t quit smoking and recommended a basic cleaning instead because of how smoking will negatively impact my teeth after the whitening is done and ran a pre determined benefit for the chip repairs to make sure that my insurance will cover them and have a price for me when I do it rather than guessing and hoping it will be covered. They are by far the best dental team I have been to since I was a child and went to Dr. Ribrary in Gig Harbor. I hope I never need to go to any other dentist but them. If you go you won’t be Disapppointed.
