Dr Raz did all my crowns and restorative work, and I am very happy about it. I like Dr Niakiani. She is very caring, nice, and friendly. I definitely recommend this office. Dr Niakiani and the team always were there to check on me to make sure procedures go well and answer my questions. The whole team is very professional, and also they have parking available at all of my appointments which is hard to find in downtown offices. The billing department always explained all my fees ahead of time and made sure to work with me. I am thankful I found this office and will be a patient for a long time.

The staff and everyone are amazing! Extremely welcoming and helpful with any questions and concerns you have whether financial, or about a procedure. They even helped me to find a discount service that would help lower the cost of procedures not covered through my dental insurance. I just completed my Invisalign, and couldn’t be happier with my results! They went above and beyond to work with my schedule since I leave for work for months at a time. Then when I was in the office they would go out of their way to make me feel like I was a priority and not treat me like just another dollar as some places do. I would highly recommend 6th Ave Periodontics for any and all dental needs!

Honestly best Dentist I have been to so far! I have Invisalign with them and honestly they couldn’t be anymore helpful. With making sure my comfort with the Invisalign and it is perfect with no gaps. To just making sure I have no questions regarding anything with my dental work. Can’t wait to see me end results with Invisalign! My favorite is Esther! I followed her from a different Dentist. She knows how to explain everything carefully. And if you fully do not under when she is done explaining she will explain it once again. Dr. Niakiani is also great with patients makes sure her employees are doing an excellent work and explains things very well and makes sure you also understand the treatment you are getting. This office is efficient, professional, and there is always someone to answer your call in person regardless of how busy they are. I have had an implant and bridge a few years apart and very happy with the results. My insurance questions and pricing were researched immediately so that I was able to move forward with the procedure. I feel comfortable getting more complicated work done here!

I’m a regular patient and I’m so impressed with everything. Such a warm atmosphere and stuff is very professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Ross and Dr. Niakiani are always give the right suggestions and I trust their opinion. Prices are affordable and considering the location and equipment are very reasonable. I definitely will come in a future!

I live in Carlsbad, but i make the trip to San Diego to go to 6th Ave. Periondontics. Dr Roya Niakiani is an excellent dentist and she always does what’s best for her patients. The office is very nicely appointed and they have all the latest equiptment. I am half way through my invisiline treatment and i couldn’t be more pleased. I am 68 so it seems a bit late but better late than never! Years ago, Dr. Roya did a dental implant on my molar that has always been great! Last time, i had a great dental hygienist named Shonna who inspired me to take better care of my teeth with simple baking soda…she loves her job and it shows. Be advised to show up a bit early for the parking. Other than that…5 star.

I just finished my Invisalign treatment and am waiting on my final retainers and I am so happy!  Dr. Niakiani is very good at her job! I initially just wanted Invisalign to fix my grinding and tension in my jaw.  I’m not going to lie, I was nervous purchasing through Groupon, but WOW! I was treated so very well! She and her staff gave me step by step information and made sure I understood the process. By the end my grinding had pretty much ceased and my teeth looked so amazing. The work Dr. N did was incredible!  She took special care to make my teeth look how I wanted them (I love that she is a perfectionist 🙂 ) The staff is fantastic as well!  They were very helpful and patient with me in understanding costs and procedures.  I also appreciated the suggestion of sales but not being pushy to sell  products.   And their dental hygienist is so personable and professional.  She does a very thorough job cleaning. I recommend this place to anyone needing Invisalign or a cleaning!  Great work!

I had such a positive experience that I had to write this review. I just finished a complete course of treatment from 6th Ave Periodontics. 18 months ago I went to see Dr. Niakiani with an agonizing pain due to infection in one of my lower molars. She immediately gave me an appointment during which she offered the whole procedure at 40% below the other 2 periodontics I had already contacted. The tooth had to be extracted and an implement had to take its place. First of all her equipment are state of the art. The office itself is very stylish and conveniently located on the 6th Ave with free parking for patients. But, the most important thing: she uses the highest quality titanium implant at fraction of the cost of other places. I needed to have bone graft as well. She did the whole thing meticulously, and did I mention painlessly. Her assistants were so caring and professional. For those of you who are looking to get this done, two surgeries are required, with three to six months between them. During the first surgery, an incision is made in the gum where the implant will be placed. A hole is drilled in the bone, the implant is placed into the hole in the bone, and the incision is stitched closed. She prescribed antibiotics and called me that evening to make sure I’m OK. While I was waiting for the third procedure, the Crown placement, I got interested in straightening my teeth. I always wanted a decent smile! Dr. Niakiani offered it to me again at an amazing price. I used invisalign for approximately 17 months to get all my teeth aligned. I was at first skeptical of these thin, plastic retainers being effective enough to fix my crooked teethes. But they actually work! I have to warn you, you need to be disciplined enough to wear them all the time or it won’t work. During both procedures I had to have my teethes cleaned three times by a dental hygienist who works in the office. I forgot to mention, their appointment making and reminders are so high tech. Everything is done through your iPhone and texting with appointments going directly to your iPhone calendar. Thank you Dr. Niakiani and 6th Avenue Periodontics staff for an amazing experience.

Dr. Niakiani was a delight from day one for my Invisalign treatment and the staff was friendly, professional and helpful for the entire 18 month process. I have recommended 6th Ave to friends and family and now they are my general dentist. I originally found this office on Groupon, so I admit I was a bit skeptical at first considering the amazing discount… was it too good to be true? But then I did research and came to find Dr. Niakiani is ranked top 1% by Invisalign with hundreds of 5 star reviews on different sites. From the moment I walked in I was impressed with the state of the art modern office, and I could not be happier with my whole experience. And Invisalign was easy, painless and gave me incredible results… and definitely get the V-Pro aligner vibration, it virtually cut my 30 month treatment down to 18 months!!

My dentist for several years suggested I needed a Periodontist. I found this office through my dental plan. Quickly scheduled an appointment. Right from the start, I knew I was in good hands. Amanda started the exam process using their modern technology. They had equipment there nonexistent at my previous dentist. Soon I had a visit from Dr. Niakiani and she explained my needs and recommended a plan. The best cleaning I ever had came from Shauna, getting me prepared for future treatments. Dr. Friedman lightens the experience with humor. Lily assisted well. Dr. Raz took care of my needed crowns and, nearly painlessly while making me feel comfortable. Sandra took care of the paperwork in a polite and personable way. In fact, this office is really meeting my needs thus far and the staff that has helped me during my visits are just all around nice people doing their jobs well. Wish I could have had this kind of care years ago. This experience will continue for me as needed. I recommend this place if you have the need for better dental care.
