Drs. Magnani, Dr. Fine and all the hygienists have been taking wonderful care of my teeth for more than a decade. They are professional, and most importantly kind. And during the Covid-19 pandemic they took all the necessary precautions to keep patients like myself safe. I could not imagine going to any other dentists.

Dr. Mary Magnani’s approach to patient care is quite remarkable. She has been my dentist for the past 3 years and every visit she works with my schedule to maximize my limited time off from work. She also provides a relaxing environment from start to finish with exceptional patience as I navigate my dental phobia. I am grateful for her time and skill and cannot wait for my next visit!

I TRUST these guys with my life. Another dentist wanted to charge over $10,000 for a complicated procedure to fix my bite – surgical gum implants and filing down my teeth to even my bite – CRAZY! I came to Magnani for a second opinion – they said, “Don’t touch your original teeth — we can use Invisalign to fix this.” MUCH cheaper plus – no surgery, no damage to my original teeth, and now my bite is great.

Everyone in this office works like a fine tuned machine.  All the equipment is state of the art and from the technicians to the Doctors, they are the best in dentistry in the city.  I’ve been a patient for 12 years and the advice Dr. Magnani has given over time has been consistent and at the forefront of dentistry.  He is a warm, incredibly knowledgeable and personal dentist who takes care of you and his staff along side fellow doctors all follow in step.  They are the best, at every visit, year after year.

Like many other reviewers, I’ve been with Dr. M. for decades. My entire family trusts him completely. His staff is amazing. One thing I’d add to the heaps of praise: He’s so entertaining! Don’t get me wrong–he couldn’t be more professional & focused. But I actually look forward to spending time with him–how many people can say that about their dentist?!

A wonderful friend of mine introduced me to dr Magnani 23 yrs ago and since then dr Magnani and his staff have been my number one stop for all my dental works. His honesty and professionalism combine with his warm and welcoming staff are highly commended! A true master of his profession, I recommend dr Magnani and his staff sincerely! I have been Dr. Magnani’s patient since 1983. He was then and continues to be the “Best in the Business” bar none! His dentistry is artistry. The entire staff, Associates, Hygienists and Assistants, are all superb! They pride themselves on their hygienic practices which are extremely well executed. Their level of professionalism is top notch. I have highly recommended Dr. Magnani in the past and will continue to do so into perpetuity. Ivy is amazing.  Every visit I learn something new on how to protect my mouth and teeth from potential harm.  Her meticulous attention to detail has improved the overall appearance of my teeth and gums.  When I showed signs of dry mouth, Ivy advised that I should be using Biotene rinse daily.  Since then day my mouth is no longer dry, and my mouth feels fresh.  I know sometimes I may have to wait super long for visit with Ivy, but  it is well worth the wait, because I feel I am getting treatment from somebody who brings nothing less than their A game!

I’ve had perennial issues with my teeth and every time I’d visit my previous dentists, each check-up would result in a list of follow-up appointments for filling cavities and replacing broken pieces of previous work. This was always a painful and expensive process and I without fail I’d end up losing fillings and in pain again within months. About three years ago, my wife recommended I see Dr. Magnani. She had been his loyal patient for 15 years and, as always, I’m so glad that I listened to her! Dr. Magnani takes a conservative approach to dentistry – he does what’s necessary to keep your teeth healthy rather than continuously in repair. All of his work ends up staying in tact and every time some of work from my previous dentists fell out of repair, he knew exactly how to deal with the problems and the pain. His hygienists are the best too! I’ve been seeing Ivy and I highly recommend her work. She does such an extremely thorough job and is always providing good tips and suggestions for keeping your teeth clean and healthy. After Dr. Magnani’s help with some initial problems from years of negligent dentistry and after seeing Ivy for cleanings and following her advice, my teeth feel better than ever. And now, when I go for check-ups I get a “good job, your teeth look great” rather than a list of appointments.

I’ve been seeing Dr.Magnani for a long time and I consider him one of the best dentists in NYC. When I met him first, he suggested replacing my old and large cavities with crowns. Under the circumstance I agree with him and he did an excellent job.Today I visit the office every six months for check up and cleaning . Do not hesitate, I highly recommend.

Dr. Magnani and his whole team are fantastic.  My whole family goes and they are great with kids and adults alike.   Ivy from the team has cleaned my teeth for years and spends so much time and care on them.  She is very knowledgeable about dental and health issues, new products and procedures (what works and what doesn’t).  It is easy to see how serious and sincere she is about her work.  Insurance claims are filed seamlessly, little to no waiting times and Dr. M is an expert in terms of his own work and with referrals (e.g. orthodontia for kids or problems for adults that might require specialists).   A dental practice is not normally something one gets excited about but Ivy, Dr. Magnani and the whole group gets five stars…six if one could give them out.  Thank you for 15+ years of service to me and my family.

I have been with Dr. Magnani for over 40 years beginning when he graduated from Dental school. He is simply the BEST DENTIST there is. He and his staff that I have known for so many years are wonderful, helpful and professional. I don’t know what I will do when he stops working and I will have to go to a new dentist. Awful prospect. I totally trust him and that’s most important.

I went to see Dr. Mary Magnani for a basic exam and for a whitening treatment. Dr. Magnani was professional, honest, caring, and dedicated to preserving the health of my teeth. When every other dentist said the next step for me was a crown, she took the initiative to think outside the box, and preserve my natural tooth. With every whitening treatment, she explained exactly what she was doing and what I should expect. I am truly grateful to her for improving my smile and making me feel comfortable every step of the way. I highly recommend her for all routine and complex dental care!

Dr. Magnani & his team are absolutely the best. I had been to a few other dentist in NYC before I found my way to his office via a friend’s referral and I don’t believe there’s anyone better. My 12 year old son has been going since his baby teeth came in and given his positive experience he’s mystified when friends tell him they don’t like going to the dentist ~ he loves going!

I get many compliments on my teeth and while I am fortunate to have been born with good teeth – I also credit Dr Magnani who has been my dentist for more than 20 years.  Dr Magnani and team are very professional, efficient, thorough with cleanings, organized /confirm appointments, and make sure that insurance is filed timely.  More importantly, I trust that Dr Magnani and team are thoughtful in looking after the best interest of my dental health and that they only recommend what is necessary/helpful.  Lastly, they are a great bunch – very cheerful office. No wonder I am with them for nearly a life-time!

Ivy, the dental hygienist is a rocking Bodhisattva. Besides being very good at what she does, she is kind, funny, thorough, keeps up a good patter, and really listens. She will put on the music that you want, the TV show that you want, because she recognizes that you need to be comfortable while the work goes on. I had to take off my shoes during the last session because my legs jump around involuntarily. No problem. Let it be said: Ivy does not sugarcoat the condition of your teeth – if it is scary, she will tell you. Does she use the “F” bomb? In continuation, until you do it every night AND morning. So get thee to Costco and buy the big packages of floss, ‘cuz you are going to need it. Expensive? Well, it is your mouth, your smile – not exactly the windows to your soul, but just as important, just as deserving.

I went to 7W51 Dental Group for a much needed cleaning and exam. Every step of my appointment was seamless, impressive, and enjoyable! They have clearly done a lot of work to prepare the office for safety, which made me feel very safe and comfortable to be there. I filled out a very thorough yet easy patient form on an iPad, which had a disposable protective barrier. Then, I saw Jackie for my cleaning. The cleaning was incredibly comfortable and she did a wonderfully thorough job. My teeth feel like new! Then, I saw Dr. Mary Magnani for my exam. She was exceptionally professional and easy to talk to. My fiance had an appointment as well. He needed 2 fillings and Dr. Mary Magnani offered to do them on the spot, making our lives SO much easier. If you’re looking for a new dentist – one perhaps you will stick with for life – RUN, don’t walk, to 7W51 Dental Group! **Disclosure: I am actually a dentist myself and my standards are extremely high.

The best!! I first became a patient of Dr. Magnani when I called with a cracked tooth (missed by another dentist). Now I will not go anywere else. Smart dentist who does excellent work. His assistant Lida is priceless. Ivy is a wonderful dental hygenist. I will not let anyone else clean my teeth. She is constantly keeping up with the latest advances and truely cares for her patients. I drive 70 miles to the office.

This afternoon, I arrived and was taken right away with my coat still on. Dr. Spizuoco cheerfully tested my new night guard that fit perfectly. I lost my credit card somewhere on my way to the grocery store. When I got home, I checked for my credit card and called Dr. Magnani’s office. Office personnel searched for it to and into the elevator. If your dentist is Dr. Magnani, Dr. Spizuoco or Dr. Fine, going to the dentist’s office can be more welcoming and helpful than going home.

The star of Dr. Magnani’s office is Ivy.  She consistently gives the best teeth cleaning – she is beyond thorough and you will never ever be able to go anywhere else after this level of thoroughness and attention to detail.  She and Dr. Magnani are a dynamic duo: their dedication to their patients truly makes them stand out.

Dr. Magnani & his entire staff are incredible. He is highly skilled, personable, efficient, and meticulous. My family has been going to him for over 25 years. I have been bringing my children to him ever since a pediatric dentist wanted to drill and fill my child’s tooth bc of a deep groove – as s second opinion, Magnani told me there was no cavity and to this day (many years later), that tooth is still healthy, in fact no cavities yet for my kids- due in great part to the care of dr. Magnani and his team. We all look forward to our dental visits.

I have been going to Dr. Magnani for over 20 years. Knowing that he and his amazing hygienist, Jackie, are taking care of my teeth, makes me feel very secure. They are both so personable and so knowledgeable that going to the dentist is more fun than not. Most importantly, Dr. Magnani is very straightforward and honest, so he does not do work unless it is absolutely necessary…his approach is truly refreshing!

Ivy’s a great dental hygienist.  I’ve been going to her for years to get my teeth cleaned and when I started years ago, my teeth and gums were not in great shape.  She took care of that with thorough, informative, compassionate dental care sessions.  My teeth and gums are now in great shape and it’s such a relief to be in such good hands. She’s also a nice person with a friendly personality.  I can see why she has a following of her own among patients.
