My favorite dental clinic here in Seattle. I’ve tried a few before, and even though some of them were decent, I never felt so welcome as at 8 to 8 🙂 Friendly stuff, great quality of work. After two years visiting 8 to 8 (for cleaning, checkups and a couple of cavities) I moved to another neighborhood, and here I have two (!) dental clinics right next door to my new apartment but I keep coming back here because I feel more comfortable at 8 to 8, I think it means something 🙂

Such an amazing place! Especially for anyone who may have slight anxieties about visiting a Dentist. The staff are all friendly the assistants are great and caring and the Dentist is so wonderful. My biggest fear has always been the needle itself as I’m sure is most people’s fear too, but at 8 to 8 Dental it was completely pain free and comfortable! I feel a lot more confident and comfortable visiting the Dentist now after my experience at 8 to 8 Dental and can’t recommend this practice enough to anyone who may be dreading or putting off a trip to the dentist. You will be in very good hands.

I would like to add that I Loathe going to the dentist. All my previous experiences have been riddled with discomfort on all levels and I really appreciate the fact that this team clearly acknowledges that many people also feel this way and go to great lengths to make a person feel welcome ( as opposed to the sterile guest service of most dental offices) and they actually go overboard on ensuring your comfort ( tv’s in the room, clear explanations of each step, and providing refreshments while you wait …. Treats rule!!). It’s great to have such a laid back neighborhood office. It’s also nice to look in and get a wave hello when I’m walking by. Super great place. ( and really flexible payment options as well)

The staff at 8 to 8 Dental were extremely professional and friendly!  Very streamlined process getting my first appointment on the books despite the COVID-19 situation and was pleased with thoroughness of the examination and cleaning.  In contrast with my previous experience at Gentle Dental, I didn’t feel I was getting nickeled and dimed, nor did I feel like they were pushing expensive procedures on me.  Highly recommend!

I am a new patient and heard good things from a coworker and because this is in the Capitol Hill it makes it a convenient location. I get nervous/anxiety at the dentist so I have often neglected going but I knew I should go. This place so far has exceeded my expectations. I have two more visits to complete all the necessary work but so far I am so happy that this is my dentist. The doctor and assistant were absolutely kind and thorough and non judgmental. I believe his name is dr koo. Highly recommend getting him and they are very good during the pandemic. Check temps outside. Really can’t say anything bad.

I have been going to 8 to 8 for 4 years and after todays visit, wanted to express how thankful I am for this practice. It is a bit nerve wracking going to the dentist, especially during the Covid-era but they went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. When scheduling my appointment, they made sure I received a dentist that can work with my anxiety. The dentists and assistants were professional, to the point and made sure I was comfortable- they even applied lip moisturizer at the end of my visit! I also felt at ease when my temperature was taken before entering, they had air filters in every room, everything was covered with disposable plastic, and everyone had on masks and face shields. They really go above and beyond here, and even though my new commute will be further, I will be returning.

My new dentist and I love it! Their 8am – 8pm schedule makes it so easy to make an appointment. Customer service is AMAZING and the office is so cute and nicely decorated. They play cute animal videos in every patient area which they say have helped a lot of people calm their anxiety and it has definitely worked for me as well. They also provide laughing gas for people who absolutely fear the dentist. I’ve never tried it, but it sounds fun lol. Overall, I’m so happy I found this place!

8 to 8 Dental is the best Dental office I know of! I will never take for granted quality dental care again. I was an old patient of Dr Thongin, the founder of 8 to 8 Dental, many years ago and was very happy with his service and care. His office relocated and I chose not to follow him due to the driving distance. My next few experiences with dentist were painful and problematic leaving me regretting ever leaving Doctor Thongin. I decided to try and find him again, and found him at 8 to 8 Dental. I will never go to another dentist again. Not only is he the best dentist ever, extremely knowledgeable, skilled and precise in his work but his associate dentists are as well. He is very particular about the dentists he selects to be on his team. They are all very personable and talented. 8 to 8 Dental provides dental care not only for myself but my whole family, and their discount dental program makes it affordable for me as well.

I have had some bad experiences with dentists. Poorly done work several years back and a recent dentist in the Seattle area who consistently attempted to double charge me and my insurance and used guilt to get expensive procedures done that were unnecessary. 8 to 8 Dental has been the opposite of my experiences with dentists so far. The facilities are wonderfully designed, the staff is friendly and professional and the dentists are great! I have now worked with both dentists at the Broadway location and they explain the work to be done, go over all options and really treat their patients with respect and care. Your practice is a shining example and I no longer dread dental appointments because of 8 to 8 Dental! TL;DR: – friendly staff – personable and communicative dentists – zero guilt if you come in with some messed up mouth issues – billing is discussed over the phone, when you check in and gone over with a separate person from the receptionist (this is important!) after your appointment – great locations and building design – better hours than any dentist ever. Saturday? Hours until 8?!? – Easy email communication, no call in only to an angry receptionist from 9-4 when they decide to pickup the phone Just the Best. Dentist. Ever.

First off, visiting 8 to 8 dental was my first visit to a dentist in over 3 years. They are right around the corner from me, so I selected them for my first dental visit due to their proximity to my house. I am so glad I chose 8 to 8 Dental. It is a great dentist office. The lobby of the office is very comfortable and its arranged such that you can feel some privacy when you are waiting. There is a coffee bar stocked with coffee, hot chocolate, and tea. I don’t really understand the hot chololate and cider in the dental office bc they are sugar loaded, but the other beverages were nice. The treatment I received was top-notch and i’m glad I wasn’t upsold on any treatments. I honestly felt that the treatments suggested by the Dentist Park were geared toward maintaining health teeth, rather than geared toward selling me things I did not need. Also, thanks to Dentist Park’s skills my teeth feel immaculately clean! One person who especially stood out on my visits was the dental assistant Nicole. She is supremely professional, competent, and caring. She made the Dentist’s job effortless, which allowed him to focus on my teeth rather than to focus on what tools he needed. While the dentist was away, she made every effort to ensure I was comfortable in the chair and she regularly asked me how I was doing. There is not question, that even when i move away from cap hill, I will make this my official dental office for the rest of the time I a here in seattle.

I was traveling in Seattle for a quick trip and had a crown coming loose. I called around and found that 8 to 8 was still open just before 5:00. The staff was friendly and told me to come in and the doctor would work me in to his schedule. It didn’t take long and I was back on my way. Great staff, friendly people, wonderful service, super clean, and well kept. If I lived in Seattle, that’s where I would be! Thanks Doc!

I just moved to the area and therefore needed to find a new dentist. I initially found that this place was close to home so I figured I would try them out. First impressions were that the place was modern and clean. The staff was polite and considerate. I had an initial visit and a cleaning and both experiences were great. I was surprised that the Dr did his own cleanings but I thought that this was a nice change. I will be going back in 6 months for another cleaning and I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a dentist. Oh and because they are open later, it is nice to know that if there was ever an emergency, I could get in without having to leave work early.
