Dr Poe is the best dentist I’ve ever had. He believes in the holistic approach and looks at each patient individually to diagnose each one. It’s not a “one size fits all” approach. He is an expert in TMJ. He completely fixed my bite and I no longer have migraines. Highly recommend!

Dr Poe is amazing! The absolute best dentist in Orange County. He is personable, kind and does not try to overcharge you for things you do not need. The women that cleaned my teeth last time was also wonderful. The cleaning was painless and she explained lots of options for me to floss my teeth. Including these little sticks you can use in between flossing. Very easy to get an appointment and the office is beautiful. The waiting room is filled with magazines galore and a Keurig for those coffee drinkers.

Dr Poe is amazing! I just moved here and my TMJ was really bothering me. I found Dr Poe online – read his great reviews – and decided to see him. What a life changer!!!! I have dealt with TMJ issues for 30 yrs, have worn braces twice (4 yrs each time) and nothing has made the difference Dr Poe has in 1 day! He made an appliance for me and I have had NO MORE PAIN, no more joint popping, no more headaches! Truly amazing!! I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Poe and his staff. I have dreaded the dentist my whole life and often avoided it all together unless I was in extreme pain. I’ve hopped around to various dental practices throughout my life dependent on my insurance, or lack there of, and where I’m living. I can tell you hands down Dr. Poe and his staff provide the most thorough, thoughtful, personalized and gentle services I have ever experienced. From the moment I walked in I was welcomed with friendly faces and all of my questions and concerns were fully explained and understood. Throughout my time being examined and reviewing my X-rays and options, I was treated like family with Dr. Poe and his staff helping me create a dental plan that would alleviate my pain and not hurt my pocket. I am so thankful I was referred to Dr. Poe, what went from fear of having my teeth pulled and a looming $3k bill at Gentle Dental, went to a simple and painless tooth extraction with quick and easy healing and a much more affordable bill. Quality and care of the highest degree at Dr. Poe’s office…stop by, you won’t fear the dentist any longer!

Dr. Poe and his staff members, Allison and Natasha are my holiday angels. During a time when I’m 37 weeks pregnant and under a lot of stress, I was slowly unraveling with worry due to a locked jaw that was reaching day 6. I’ve never had a locked jaw before and spent about 2 days calling people around. Before I found him, I went to two other specialists who were not able to make any progress on my jaw. The other people I called were too afraid to treat a pregnant woman. I was bounced around speaking to different providers all suggesting I go elsewhere and finally, someone suggested I try and google a dentist with TMJ specialty. Dr. Poe’s name came up on google, and on Friday late in the afternoon, when I had felt a bit defeated, Natasha answered the phone with no hesitation to help me. I immediately heard her concern for me over the phone and I could hear her consulting with Dr. Poe. She said they could treat me!! Because it was so late in the evening, I wasn’t able to go in immediately, but that was okay with me because they scheduled me first thing on Monday morning and I wasn’t in any pain. She sounded very calm and confident over the phone and I got the sense that TMJ issues did not scare their office. Come Monday morning, I arrived and was immediately greeted with all three of them including some much needed humor to help alleviate my worries. I was immediately hooked up to what’s called a TENS machine? and received treatment while filling out paperwork. They were so willing to help relieve me of my misery. : ) I found Dr. Poe to be intelligent, knowledgeable, experienced, calm, safe, funny, personable, and reassuring. But what you’re all waiting to hear is the outcome….Did he fix my jaw? YES!!! Dr. Poe fixed my jaw!!! He’s a miracle worker!!! He did it non invasively, confidently, and without too much discomfort. I was so relieved, that I was in tears and nearly crying. Natasha and Allison were also really knowledgeable and passionate about working with Dr. Poe. I couldn’t believe my luck just before the holidays, to find a team of people so willing and caring and who didn’t take advantage of the situation – which they easily could have. I was in such a vulnerable place. Interestingly, because my jaw was locked for nearly a week, it was a tougher case and twice, my jaw went back into the wrong place. Dr. Poe daringly and confidently went back at it again for me to make sure I was okay. This is the longest review and probably the most emphatic one I’ve written because I can’t say enough how amazing and brilliant he is. He’s got a special talent and calling for this daunting kind of work. Thank you so much Dr. Poe, Natasha, and Allison, for taking care of me at a very stressful time. I’ll never forget your kindness.

Life changing results! I went to Dr. Poe’s for TMJ (Temporomandibular joint) treatment. I was having daily headaches, difficulty concentrating, congestion, facial pain, ringing in the ears, clicking and locking of the jaw. My TMJ issues stemmed from having braces, from another dentist. Dr. Poe’s treatment provided great relief and was able to bring attention to other contributing issues (like food allergies and muscle tension that was contributing to my discomfort). It’s been about 6 months into my treatment and I’ve found great relief. Dr. Poe and his staff are very kind, friendly, and professional. I appreciate the convenience of text message verification for appointments. After a quick consultation, Dr. Poe explained the treatment process, which involved an orthodontic piece (very similar to a retainer). He even went out of his way to fit me in the day of the consultation to begin my treatment. He clearly explained the expense of the treatment and what to typically expect from my insurance company. They care about the total well-being of their patients and work to helped me regain a better quality of life. I highly recommend Dr. Poe and his wonderful staff for TMJ treatment and recommend making a consultation with him if you suspect you may TMJ problems yourself. Thank you for all of your help!

I am still on my way to recovery but now at about 80% and I am so thankful for Dr. Poe. I have my life back. Dr. Poe has been our family dentist for over 7 years. Both my boys love to get their teeth cleaned and are now getting orthodontic work done.  The office staff are wonderful and great to work with. Everyone is welcoming and genuine. Appointments are convenient and we never have a wait when we arrive. We live in North OC, and I’m sure we could find another dentist closer to our home, however, Dr. Poe and his staff make the drive more then worth it!!

Good folks here. Everybody has a smile on. Well, they should since Dr. Poe is a Smile Specialist. ! I had severe tooth pain and they got me in the same day! His amazing new digital X-ray machine did a 180 degree scan which he shared onscreen with me in his office. Incredible software. I mean Hollywood special effect quality. Anyway, clear as day, we could see a sinus infection, full of gunk. Whew. Put me on some Keflex ($4.99 at Costco by the way) and feeling better already within 24 hrs.

Dr. Poe is amazing. I had a fake tooth in and while I was traveling on vacation in Italy, Rome I was eating some meat (didn’t notice there was a bone in it) and i took a bite then BOOM. My whole front tooth chipped and I looked like some trucker named billy from Tennessee! Right when I got back I called his office explaining my situation and he literally got me an appointment the next hour! I go in and he instantly tells me he can fix it right now. (boy was i relieved! I had a date that night and was gonna cancel it if he couldn’t fix it that day). I would recommend him to anyone! his office staff is very nice as well.
