Dr Sarafian is my all time favorite dentist! I’ve been going to him for over a decade and have not had 1 bad experience with him. When I got a new job I lost my Medical and chose HMO not realizing he wasn’t in my dental plan I suffered a whole year with another dental office which by the way was horrible and I mean HORRIBLE!!! They gave me a silver cavity “by mistake” when I asked for porcelain. As soon as my policy was over I payed the extra money and switched to PPO so I could go back with him, yes he’s that good! Friendly staff, clean office, great location with lots of parking & awesome hours including Saturdays which is super convenient. Why would anybody want to go else where???

My family has seen Dr. Sarafian for over 20 years for all dental needs. Dr. Sarafian has always been reasonable, kind, patient, and thorough with his work. Unlike some other dentists, he does not “make up” reasons to perform unnecessary dental work and is very trustworthy. Saturday appointments is a big plus too. I also like the way he asks, “Are you OK?” in the middle of the work to make sure the patient is comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Sarafian to any person, child or adult, for all dental needs.

We’ve been coming to Brite Smile for few years now. Dr. Sarafian is a dentist who is professional with his work, sensitive to the needs of his patients, and accommodating to each of our needs. My wife fusses over everything and he meets her needs other than giving her the okay to have unlimited amounts of Hershey Almond bars. He explains every procedure and doesn’t proceed until his patient is ready. We like that about him. He doesn’t rush through the appointment. He seems to understand that to some or to the majority of us a visit to the dentist brings angst. Above all that he’s very keen to helping you out and works with your schedule and his Staff of nurses who help him aren’t those serious monotone people who just stare at you they actually care about you and will remember if you become apart of their dentistry. Dr. Sarafian is the best it gets! I have been coming to this dentist since I was a little girl and when I had the decision to switch dentists I decided to stick with him because of how comfortable I am there. Ive always hated the dentist, like most people, but Dr. Sarafian is very skilled at making you feel relaxed and comfortable as he tells you everything he’s doing before he does it and is easy to talk to. He remembers me and my family by name and always asks how my family is and asks me about school and everything which makes me feel like he actually cares. I’ve been coming here for years for adults and children. Honestly he’s great with both. He takes the time to care and really make the children comfortable. This is not the kind of place where they make the parents sit outside and the kids have to be inside alone. We have been coming to Brite Smile for the past 6 years or so. Dr. Sarafian and his staff have always been very helpful whenever we visit his clinic. I take my housemate who is blind and she is a pain at times as she wants to know everything going on around her and is rude about it. She makes blunt comments and at times make demands when dealing with others. Dr. Sarafian has met these challenges with an upbeat, professional, caring, and willing attitude. We changed dentists because we found our past dentists to be unsympathetic, non-caring, and ignorant to the needs of those with disabilities. Dr. Sarafian is just a kind and good person who happens to be a dentist. He knows the quirks of my housemate and works with her to alleviate any discomfort or misunderstandings of her treatment. We thank him every time we visit because he is making the dreadful (just because he is a good dentist doesn’t mean we love to have dental work done) experience as less dreadful as possible. We recommend Dr. Sarafian and his clinic wholeheartedly and know that you will get a compassionate person sitting next to you ready to make your dental needs met.

I was referred to bring my daughter to Dr. Sarafian by family members. My daughter loves coming here!! I like that even after a root canal, teeth extractions, and multiple fillings my daughter says she felt no pain and loves coming back to dentist. Interestly enough, my daughter prefers coming to dentist over her primary care Dr. any day! I liked Dr. Sarafian so much that I decided to switch over to Brite Smile Family Dentistry as well! I have now been coming here for years myself & I love coming here! Dr. Sarafian is very gentle and takes time to take care of every patient even when his office is busy. We treat all our patients as our family members. We see all ages and perform most dental procedures. We have serviced our community since 1991 and specialize in most phases of dentistry. We have evolved and perfected our dental services and have concentrated on encouraging our patients to maintain their natural dentition. Our primary goal is to always address patient's concerns, be available when there is a need, and create a family oriented dental office. Dr. Norman Sarafian earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Doctor of Dental Surgery from UCLA. He is a member of American Dental Association, The California Dental Association and San Fernando Dental Society. Dr. Sarafian has been practicing dentistry diligently since 1991. His practical experience combined with his academic knowledge of the science of Dentistry provides an excellent resource for his patients’ achievement of advanced dental health. Dr. Sarafian maintains a private practice specializing in cosmetic, restorative and preventive dentistry in the greater Los Angeles area. Dr. Sarafian founded The “Brite Smile Family Dentistry” and his goal is for patients to have an educational, transparent and gentle experience when they visit his office.
