I had a recent dental check up and cleaning at Steven K. Okamoto DDS and was soooo very impressed I felt compelled to write both a personal testimony and give a heartfelt endorsement. My first impression was the friendliness and welcomingness of the front office staff. The office is clean and organized with a calm and peaceful atmosphere. A nice little touch is the free bottles of drinking water in the mini-refrigerator. I was seen within minutes of my appointment time by dental assistant Stephanie who took my digital dental x-rays….all 18 of them! She was super friendly and very attentive to my comfort. Next, I met Dr. Michelle whose beautiful spirit is an equal match to her physical beauty. She very patiently and detailedly explained my x-rays and high resolution images of my teeth and other oral features. She explained areas of concern and recommendations. At no point did she ever try to upsell me any unnecessary procedures, as I have encountered from past dental practices. She listened to my questions and concerns and made me feel completely in control of my dental health decisions. In past experiences, I have had dentists make decisions without advising me of my options or considering my input. Dr. Michelle is truly a gifted listener and explains things in an easy to understand manner. Next, I was introduced to dental hygienist, Kim, who performed my dental cleaning. Kim is gentle and so very meticulous in her work. She constantly inquired about my comfort and well-being during my cleaning. She took her time and gave me lots of helpful advice on proper dental care practices. I am so very thankful and so very impressed with the dental practice of Dr. Steven K. Okamoto. Dr. Michelle and staff provided me the best dental experience I have ever had! I have finally found the dental care “home” I have always been searching for! I highly and whole-heartedly recommend these amazing people!!

Love love love Dr. Steve, Dr. Michele and his staff. His office is run so smoothly. Everyone is so kind and gracious. Wonderful atmosphere in his office. They all make going to the Dentist a much more pleasant experience. And they give excellent medical care! The Best ever!

If you want a great dentist you really need to check out Steven K Okamoto, DDS & Michelle Okamoto, DDS. Or if you are just in need of a routine cleaning I highly recommend Renee. She is professional, delicate when needed, and very thorough. Her smile is welcoming and she makes your smile the best it can be.

I have been going to Dr. Steve for years and he is a great professional as well as a person. His daughter, Dr. Michelle is another great dentist as well. Renee is the best dental hygienist and very personable! You folks rock!

Friendly Nice Office The Okamoto’s (Dr. Steven and Dr. Michelle) have a beautiful place with a good staff. I had my cleaning done by Renee and she too is great. I always feel my teeth are well cared for. Looking forward to my next visit.

Dr. Steven Okamoto provided excellent care and artistry and we are very pleased with the results!  The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional.  Dr. Steve created a perfect partial lower and full upper denture that enabled my husband to eat without any problem and have a great smile.  I am grateful to Dr. Steve after my experience with an Invisalign treatment program and some crown work.  I am so happy to smile!   We give Dr. Okamoto and staff the highest recommendation!!

I am a registered nurse so I know exactly how hectic a Doctor or a Dentist office can get. And I have to say that everyone in this office is always friendly, patient, kind and attentive to their patients needs. In the medical field it can be very difficult to run on time but they do a great job of running on time and letting you know how long your appointment should take. The office is very well run with the nicest staff.

Dr. Okamoto is the absolute best in the business. Professional, personal, and perfection in his work. The rest of his staff and Dr. Michelle are equally excellent in their work. The office itself is amazing appointed and very comfortable however they are so fast and efficient you never get a chance to enjoy it.

Dr. Steve and Ms. Izumi are simply wonderful. My 86 years old mother has been afraid of dentists all her life. Unfortunately she broke 2 teeth. Dr. Steve not only skillfully fixed the problem, he understood her fear and made her feel comfortable throughout the entire session.

I am so happy we came to this office!! From the minute I stepped in the office the professionalism and welcoming feeling was apparent. I hadn’t been to a dentist in 5 years but Dr. Michell Okamoto gave me a thorough overview and the work I needed, and immediately completed the first phase. It was painless and I feel great. The staff is also outstanding and I am looking forward to my next appointment in 2 weeks. My wife is changing to this dentist immediately!

Although he is a bit pricier than other doctors, I always always have gotten my money’s worth and I always feel that I didn’t pay enough. We see him for my daughter who had a car accident and her front teeth were lost. My daughter is an extremely difficault case, and he dedicates all his time and attention just to my daughter. Dr O , diligently , goes through his process so carefully , it’s been two years and he is doing what no other doctor COULD OR WOULD DO. I am grateful to dr O for a lifetime for restoring my daughters smile when no other doctor at least in this state COULD, Love his mannerism and what he does.

I went in today for the first tine to see Dr. Steven Okamoto from a friend referral. Having to decide to see someone new after all the past years with my prior dentist was not what I wanted to do. So my anxiety level was so high last night and feeling very nervous of the outcome. But both he and his assistant Isumi made my visit so comfortable and felt so relieved after the treatment. It was his generous care and concern of hearing my needs which made me decide to choose him now as my dentist moving forward. Cannot be any happier now than ever before!

Dr. Steve is fabulous. I moved four hours away and I refuse to let anyone else handle my dental work. He is kind, gentle, and skilled at what he does. I travel the distance for the best!

Loved it. Was looking for a new dentist in the area, and I am glad I found this one. The dr was very througrough in her evaluation and explained the state of my mouth very well and in great detail. She was very friendly and eased my concerns! The office was also very nice and modern with ample parking. I will certainly be returning here for my regular check ups.

Drs. Steven and Michelle Okamoto, including their Staff members, demonstrated professionalism. But most importantly, each person, that I interacted with, was genuine. I had my first scheduled appointment with Dr. Okamoto on June 7, 2018. During my dental exam and medical assessment, Dr. Okamoto’s patient-centered quality of care had not been advertised although clearly practiced. I was and am still amazed.

I had my first appointment at the Okamoto office & have to say, my experience there was great! Dr. Steve took the time to warmly greet me, though my appointment was with Dr. Michelle. Dr. Michelle was equally warm & professional. I was impressed with how quickly she analyzed my issue. She treated me skillfully & with gentle hands. All the while, Dr. Michelle encouraged me with helpful information for my dental health. Her manner is confident & cheery. The office is gorgeous & my visit to the Okamoto dental practice was a very positive experience.

Easy 5 Stars! As a satisfied patient for many years, I’m happy to write this review. Dr. Steve & Dr. Michelle are great at making you feel comfortable and taken care of. Whether it’s a basic cleaning or a complex procedure, I feel like they hold my dental health with the highest regard. They are extremely gentle and thoughtful about your concerns (I’m a bit of a baby when it comes to dental work) and have actually made the dentist experience enjoyable! Also, the office is beautiful, comfortable and state of the art.

Going to the dentist is always terrible for me, but I truly enjoyed being at this office, especially with Dr. Michelle! The staff is so kind and welcoming. I would recommend it to everyone looking for a great dentist.

I have been around the block a bit as I am 62 years old and have been to many medical/dental and other service business offices through the years. Without a doubt, Dr Steve and Dr Michelle Okamoto have the finest office I have ever visited. The facility itself is terrific- I feel like I am going to the spa. But what sets it apart is the service by the entire staff- front desk, administration/billing, hygienists, dental assistants, and Doctors Steve and Michelle. Everyone is just so competent, efficient, and friendly. My wife and 3 adult children are now all patients and they feel the same way. They are amazed by how great this place is! And they go above and beyond. Just 2 examples: I have a disabled brother who could no longer go leave the house so Drs Steve and Michelle (who were not his dentists) went out and did a cleaning at his home. And then my daughter, who was leaving for Europe the next day, had a dental emergency and Dr Steve fit her in that day and spent a good 45-60 minutes caring for her. Choose Steven K. Okamoto, DDS as your dental office. I guarantee that you will be happy you did.

Dr. Michelle & her assistant, Michele are the BEST! Both are very professional but at the same time very personable & caring. In fact, the entire staff are wonderful & the office is state of the art beautiful. I would without any reservations, recommend this very talented office & staff for great dental work.

After reading many of the excellent reviews, there isn’t much additional to add. This is an outstanding office in all respects, and their expertise and patient care is so ” beyond the usual” that you will be amazed you were satisfied (?) going anywhere else. One hundred thumbs up!!

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Okamoto for more than 30 years. That pretty much gives you an idea of what we think of him and the other professionals in his practice. We wouldn’t think of going anywhere else for dental procedures. Dr. Steve and his daughter Dr. Michelle provide excellent and timely care for any dental problem. I am a real person with real teeth, and no one could pay me to say this!!

I was first referred to Dr. Steven Okamoto for a complicated dental procedure following a car accident in the 1990’s. As he remains my dentist of choice for the past twenty years, I cannot give him a better recommendation. He is thorough and detailed; demonstrates extensive expertise knowledge and dental care; always includes you in understanding options or the direction needed for solving dental issues; and, of course, provides such a welcoming environment. Both he and daughter, Dr. Michelle, and his entire staff reflect all these wonderful qualities.

All I can say is, he is the best Dentist I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He is honest, caring, and a good listener. His office personnel is awesome as well. He is truly a blessing!

Generations of my family have been going to this dental practice for several years. I’ve been going to them for 5 years. The first treatment was to receive veneers on my two front teeth for a basketball injury I experienced in middle school. The work on my teeth was impeccable. You can’t tell that they are fake and so many people are surprised when I tell them my two front teeth aren’t real! I started going for general dentistry in the past three years. The customer service here is beyond excellent. Everyone is so professional, friendly, nice, and down to earth. Dr. Michelle and Dr. Steve are two of the nicest and humblest humans on this planet. They always take the time to ask me how I’m doing. Every time I go I feel like I’m catching up with a friend I haven’t seen in awhile, and they do this for all of their clients. Furthermore, I’ve had a few situations where I needed to be seen quickly and they had no problem or complaint doing this!! Also if your dental work needs to be fixed/repaired they will always do this. They are so knowledgeable about different treatments and procedures, customize their work to fit a patient’s needs, and always err on the side of caution. Finally, they use state-of-the-art advanced technology to work on teeth. They are ahead of the curve in this industry, and the quality of their care is superb! The office is also immaculate and sheik.  I recommend these dentists to everyone! You will not be disappointed!

Dr. Okomoto is the dentist I trust most. His work is superb. Recently, I needed a crown placed on a broken molar and when the lab work came back, it wasn’t perfect. He sent it back to the lab and didn’t place it until it did fit perfectly. He is knowledgeable, empathetic and kind hearted. I couldn’t have asked for a better and pain free experience. He’s been my dentist for at least 20 years and I hope he’ll be my dentist 20 years from now.
