Wonderful experience! I am so happy to be a patient here. Michelle is the office manager and will be your first point of contact and she is so friendly, patient and thorough at explaining things. She will explain everything from insurance to all the procedures/protocols during COVID-19. (For example, they only allow 1 patient in the lobby at a time, they take your temperature when you arrive, etc..) I felt very safe coming here. Last week I had a consultation where I met Dr. Knopf, who is incredible. So personable and kind. She examined my teeth and we made a plan. I got an amazing cleaning from Miriam today. She removed all the stains from my coffee and tea drinking. Such a visible difference. She also made a recommendation to try a different toothpaste to help with stains. I love the fun, modern decor. Everyone is so friendly and professional here. I highly recommend coming here.

From my past experiences, I have an absolute fear of going to the dentist. Dr. Knopf, Corina and Michelle definitely guided me through it, and helped me make sure I felt confortable with the work needed. I insisted that I wanted a painless experience: they definitely delivered!!! I was even able to eat right after my dental work, which has never been the case for me before. I admire their patience, and the office looks so great and clean, with all the latest technology: it is definitely a reassuring environment. I also was amazed by their flexibility, and how understanding the entire staff was. I without a doubt recommend Dr. Knopf, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my teeth. Live in the neighborhood of South Park and stopped by the Tooth Shop as a new patient. Very modern, clean office, with minimalistic décor. Has all the latest bells and whistles in a dentist office. I appreciate all the effort that was put into my patient experience. There was a flat scree above the patient chair so I could even watch Netflix during my visit. I haven’t always written reviews for places I’ve had great experience, but this place is awesome. It will probably sound like a fake review, but it’s all real. First – the location is really new and clean. Excellent interior design. Not like a stuffy old dentist office. The coolest thing is that I had a TV above me to watch while getting my teeth taken care of. I got to Netflix and Dentist, pretty new for me. Great location. Staff was awesome. Very friendly and polite. Explained every step of the way. I haven’t ever had this much attention from at a medical practice before. All the pricing was completely transparent, and explained to me. They worked to ensure my insurance covered as much as they possibly could. I’d definitely recommend this. Drop your current dentist and go here. The staff is super sweet. The location is brand new and clean. Feels young and fresh.

Today I changed dentists after 15 years, to Dr. Knopf, and it was a great decision. Not only are she and her terrific staff, Michelle and Corina, super personable, but they use the most modern equipment, processes and techniques. I had only had cleanings done for all those years, and never knew that I had a few minor issues that had been developing. Michelle is super knowledgeable about Delta Dental insurance, as well as assisting with several processes. Corina worked on x-rays, and partnered with Dr. Knopf on evaluations and documenting. The offices are beautiful, modern, clean and new. DTLA now has the benefit of a USC graduate and former faculty member to take care of all our dental needs! Street parking was not difficult to find, too. I’m referring my friends and family, as well.

I still have all my wisdom teeth and I’m almost 50 years old! In the past, I have been Bullied by dentists who tell me I NEED to have them taken out. I’ve been to many oral surgeons who always disagree and tell me that as long as I can keep them clean and healthy there is no reason to have them taken out as they have come in completely straight and I have plenty of room for them in my mouth. I’ve suggested to other dentists in the past to maybe have my teeth cleaned 3 times a year instead of twice as suggested by the oral surgeon. Dr. Knopf is the first dentist that suggested this to me even before I asked! Dr. Knopf has a natural ability to make you feel safe and comfortable and REALLY listens to your concerns. I live in DTLA in South Park and was looking for a dentist that was walking distance from my apartment. I’m so glad I walked by The Tooth Shop while walking my dog one afternoon and decided to stop in. Michelle was welcoming, wonderful and very informative and I made an appointment. Corina the Dental Assistant is very kind, caring and knowledgable. She is young, sweet and energetic, and by far the most patient person! She takes the time to show me all my x-rays and photos she has taken of my teeth and explains the process along the way. The office technology is top notch! As Dr. Knopf is seeing things in my mouth she able to take a photo and put it up on the screen in front of me so I can see exactly what her concerns are and understand and discuss. I feel like I’m in First Class when I’m here. They even bring you a warm towel on an adorable plate after you are finished in the chair to clean up. This is just one among MANY of the special touches this office provides to their patients. Michelle breaks down your insurance payments and explains every cost to you to help you understand what is covered and what is your portion. You go home with a print out and there are no hidden fees. Paperwork is filled out ahead of time through their website, so when you arrive for your appointment insurance costs have already been calculated and the only thing you need to think about are any questions you might have for the dentist. They have Netflix to entertain you while in the chair. I never feel rushed. It just feels like an afternoon with friends. I have had cavities filled, a mouthguard made, and routine cleanings done at this office. My daughter who has severe anxiety about the dentist and has never been able to get through x-rays was able to complete x-rays for the first time here with Corina. My daughter is 23 years old. Dr. Knopf and Corina spent valuable time with her and made her feel very secure and comfortable and gave her many options and guidance to make an educated decision about her dental health without her feeling any pressure. I have learned many tips and tricks and have been given the correct tools to care for my oral health at home. I feel like all my needs have been met at this office. It really is the complete package both front and back office! I look forward to my appointments.Thank you to the Tooth Shop staff for all your dedicated care! I truly feel special! Best dental experience ever! It started when I walked through the door and was met by Nancy (The Office Manager) and then Karina (The Dental Assistant). Super warm and friendly and genuinely welcoming. The office itself is sparkling, well-designed and high tech. Dr. Knopf came in immediately after my x-rays and took time to conduct the exam, do the cleaning and explain to me my current dental health and all of my options (regarding a few specialty questions I had). Throughout I felt informed and well cared for by Karina and Dr. Knopf. It was unlike any dentist experience I have had in memory. When I had all of my options, Nancy came in and explained to me costs and what my insurance would cover. The transparency was very refreshing. Dr Knopf is the best dentist ever, ever. I wrote a review for her before but I think it’s still under the last office she shared. So she moved offices and this one is better. The entire staff are sweet and gentle and awesome and punctual and professional. More importantly, I’ve had severe anxiety for years and like many people the dentist is a trigger. I don’t know if it’s the noise or past experiences plaguing me. But I don’t have anxiety going to the dentist anymore thanks to Dr Knopf. I’m not even sure where to begin in writing this review. As I’m writing it, tears are welling up in my eyes simply because I’m so thankful to be her patient. Dr. Knopf is extraordinary. She has an eye unlike any other. She’s passionate about what she does and she listens to absolutely everything (the good, the bad, the ugly). She’s the real deal and so is her staff. I got into a very traumatic accident at a young age. I’ve spent the past 17 years trying to fix my front teeth. It’s been a rollercoaster of a journey. I’ve had horrible dentists and dentists that meant well but just couldn’t see my vision. I’ve invested lots of money and time into fixing my teeth. Dr. Kimberly Knopf has been my dentist for at least six years now. The quality of her work and her wonderful personal approach to the practice of dentistry was recently highlighted by my experience undergoing a “cap” procedure and replacement of several old fillings. Being a surgeon who performs cosmetic procedures i am very sensitive to patient comfort issues and the need to provide a near painless and comfortable experience. Dr. Knopf surpassed all of my expectations making the two dental office visits an entirely pleasant and easy experience. I recommend her and her and her staff (say hello to Jackie for me) to you wholeheartedly. I can promise you that you will be very pleased. By far most friendly, professional dentist I’ve ever seen. During a career change I had a lapse in coverage. Dr. Knopf and her office went out of their way to make sure my dental was all covered, even calling an endodontist and convincing them to give me lower rates when I needed emergency root canal. When I had a weird reaction to Novocaine, started shaking and needed something to eat, Dr. Knopf pulled energy bars out of her own lunch for me. Office is clean, fast, and well managed. Their staff also went out of their way to accommodate me at the very restricted times I could get in to see them. I can not emphasize enough how wonderful they are. Deborah and Audrey are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable as well. I would give this office 20 stars if I could.

I’ve been dreading the hunt for a decent dentist since I moved to LA from DC 2 years ago but it looks like I struck gold on the first try. Dr. Knopf and Corina and the entire staff are very friendly and patient and genuinely enjoy their job. I started going to this location last October/November. This was my first time seeing a dentist in over 15 years. I was so ashamed of ignoring my dental health, but they were very helpful getting me started. I have had an awesome all-female team of support, Michelle, Corina, Maryam, and Dr. Knopf; they have taken good care of me (and my tooth decay!), and they have inspired me to try to have better oral health. In case you’re concerned about things now with the pandemic, I’ve been back recently after the Covid-19 closing and I feel safe with the new precautions that they’re taking with patients. To be completely honest, this the best dentist shop I’ve visited in my life. The professionalism and the ambiance are impeccable, and the staff is so patient, dedicated, and kind. This is really a first class dental office. Even though it just recently opened, they have experienced dental experts with courteous and professional staff. The office is impeccably clean and has the latest technology and equipment, including multiple flat screen devices everywhere for X ray and dental evaluation. It reminded me of going into a high end oral surgery center instead of a place that I came for my teeth cleaning. Dr. Knopf’s pedigree, education and experience certainly speak volumes. I’m like deathly afraid of needles… so when Dr Knopf said I had a small cavity that needed filled I was terrified. Boy was I WRONG! She made me so comfortable and used a numbing gel first, then the numbing stuff. I couldn’t feel a thing! And it only took less than 5 min to fill. Dr Knopf is probably the nicest and best dentist I’ve ever gone too. We had a really nice conversation and she asked if I was doing okay after everything we did. I had a lot of coffee stains on my teeth and she polished them back to whiteness! Her office staff is also extremely nice and helpful. They told me the price of everything before I said yes, and they aren’t like some dentists that try and sell you tons of things. I will definitely come back here! Thank you Dr Knopf for everything! The office is nice and new and they have all the latest equipment and comforts… including a tv on the ceiling so you can browse Netflix while you’re getting a cleaning. I have always had anxiety about going to the dentist, I am terrified of everything that has to do with dentistry even just getting X-rays. Corina and Dr. Knopf have gone above and beyond to support me and make me feel comfortable. Corina is so supportive, even just a touch on the shoulder and her kind words letting me know how great I’m doing and that everything will be ok has helped me tremendously. Dr. Knopf is amazing at answering all my questions and really taking my fears/anxiety into consideration. She truly cares about making this a great and less scary situation for me providing me with alternative ways to accomplish the dental work I need. For example I had 8 cavities, yes you heard me correctly 8! I was terrified as I have never had a cavity before in my life and knew it involved getting shots in my mouth. I was able to talk to Dr. Knopf about ways that I would be able to get through the procedure without having a panic attack. I am proud to say that with the support of Corina and Dr. Knopf I was able to get all 8 cavities done in one appointment. Dr. Knopf worked quickly and efficiently, asking me how I was doing the whole time and making sure I was able to take a break if I needed one and at the end of the procedure told me how impressed she was that I was able to do that. Corinna was awesome helping me get through the 4 shots they had to do, putting her hand on my arm and saying its gonna be ok! She also gave me stress balls to hold the whole time during my procedure which helped a lot, giving me something else to focus on. I can’t say enough amazing things about the tooth shop and will never be able to go to another dentist again as I love the care and knowledge that Corina and Dr. Knopf provide. Through all their care and patience I have gained courage and no longer fear the dentist chair. Therefore, when Dr. Knopf gave me a referral to get my wisdom teeth extracted, I am confident that I will be able to get through the procedure and that she has put in good hands with her choice of an oral surgeon. I just switched over to Dr. Knopf from my dentist of 15 years — what a refreshing change to walk into a welcoming, bright, clean, bustling yet tranquil office vs an old, stodgy, antiquated office ((((with $10. per hour or more -parking fees)) as I had been going to prior to meeting this team ~ I needed a teeth cleaning ; Sabah was FABULOUS, detailed, pleasant and worked in a very timely fashion without rushing. her up to -the- minute teeth cleaning tool is amazing ! Dr Knopf has a very confident, assuring, manner and is a beautiful, chic, calming presence – never met such a stunning dentist ! Her work was meticulous and painless even when administering an injection. 2 full crowns and 1 re- cementing of a crown & I was in her chair just over an hour. Her 2 dental assistants ; Lida & Deborah – were very very pleasant and certainly performed more detailed dental assistance than any office I have ever gone to.
