I have been going to Laguna Beach Dental for years and cannot say enough great things about this office. Every time I go in, I’m greeted with beautiful smiles and the kindest team.

Everyone in this office is WONDERFUL. Christina will help you right off the bat. She’s knowledgeable, incredibly fast and so warm. She also has the prettiest smile I’ve ever seen.

I visit Allen every 4-6 months for a cleaning and he couldn’t be more amazing. He’s fun, upbeat and has a great laugh.

I usually see Dr. Buehler for my checkups. As far as dentists go, he is the best of the best. He and the team have transformed what it means for me to go to the dentist.

I just recently found out that Dr. Buehler sold the practice. I went in today for a cleaning and to meet with Dr. Taherian, the new owner. Dr. Buehler is fantastic, but I have to say, Dr. Taherian is equally so. She was right away so thoughtful, caring and perceptive. She identified my cracked tooth and fit me in same day for repair. Cathy and Maria were helping her all the way and are true gems. The end result was absolutely stunning.

If you’re looking for a new dentist, Laguna Beach Dental Group is the place to go. If you’re just looking for a cleaning and checkup or if you need a little cosmetic care, Dr. Taherian and the team will make you feel right at home. They are kind, gentle and expertly skilled. They have incredible cosmetic capabilities and state of the art technology with even same day ceramic crown repair. I can’t recommend them enough. Dr. Taherian and these amazing folks gave me my smile back.  I have always been religious about dental hygiene but through the years my gums had receded and my grinding had altered my mouth to the point that I stopped showing teeth with my smile.  I just moved to the area and at my first appt Dr. Taherian took the time to review my x-rays and answered all my questions.  When I told her how embarrassed I was with my uneven teeth, she assured me she could fix it all.  It was scary but I trusted her and her professional team and they delivered beyond my dreams.  Every member of this staff has been friendly and helpful and Maria was at my side throughout the 2 weeks of temporary and permanent bridges and crowns.  I can’t recommend Laguna Beach Dental enough.  Just thinking about them, makes me want to smile.

I have been coming here for several years. Every experience I have had has been a positive one as respects the people who work in this office and the results of the work done. I could not ask for better service from the minute I walk in the door to the end of my treatment. I’m in the process of having my entire mouth rebuilt – the process is long, but not too long and I have to say that I have been treated with the utmost care and kindness during every procedure. The latest being 4 implants. Each procedure has gone beautifully and I appreciate the time taken to make me feel comfortable as I am terrified of Dentists. I have gotten over this fear because of their treatment of me. I honestly cannot praise them enough or thank them enough.

I’ve been coming here for two years and absolutely love the staff and their work is amazing!  Thanks to Dr Teharian and (associate dentist) and their staff I’m proud of my smile again!  I highly recommend them!

I have been to different dentists as I’ve moved around and I was so happy when someone recommended that I try the Laguna Niguel Dental Group. I have now been going there for over six years and they have helped my teeth so much! The staff is warm and caring. I have found their prices comparable to other dentists around the area. I very much dislike going to the dentist, because my teeth need so much work.  Additionally, I was stationed in Asia for many consecutive years and have lived out of the local area.  As a result, I neglected professional care for my teeth until I could no longer bear to do so.  Over the course of the past couple of months however, Dr Taherian and her professional staff have consistently performed outstanding and personalized care for my teeth.  Dr Taherian is a truly outstanding dentist who goes out of her way to make every procedure as painless as possible.   I commend her for that, because I have had terribly painful experiences with other dentists, despite the multiple shots of numbing medication.  I would also like to mention that her (…) dental assistant, who has prepared and set all of my temporary crowns, is also the most professional and caring assistant that I have ever encountered.  Although the price of my many crowns were ‘pricey’, her staff accommodated me with an interest free payment plan.   In my view, Dr Taherian (and her staff) are wonderful and I highly recommend her dental services!

Amazing group!! I hate going to the dentist but everyone here so warm, welcoming and comforting. First of all, Martha is so helpful when you first make an appointment. Cory (sp?), my hygienist, was wonderful! I had some common pregnancy related dental issues and she was just so comforting. Dr. Taherian was great too even though I didn’t spend as much time with her as I did with Cory. Overall a wonderful experience. Clean office and modern equipment. Plenty of parking too.

Dr Taherian has been my dentist for quite some years and I can not be happier. She is very honest and perfectionist. I LOVE Martha and Karlene. Very professional and kind. All my three kids have seen (the orthodontist). Words can not express how nice and competent he is.  They all feel like family, very caring. I have been and will keep recommending them to everyone.

I’m new to the area and was in need of a cleaning and came across Laguna Niguel Dental. From the moment I stepped threw the door everyone was very friendly and helpful. My appointment was at 2 and right at 2 I walked back to get started. The dentist pointed out a couple things I need to get fixed and was very helpful to explain why. The receptionist was so nice and sat down with me to break down how much each fix would be. Overall I was very happy with my experience and would recommend this dentist office to everyone.

I was referred here by my co-worker who has been coming with her family for years. I was a first time patient and was seen same day!! I came in with so much pain and they took great care of me from start to finish! I look forward to continuing my dental plan at this office! I normally shy away from dental visits but everyone was so great here I felt at ease and not anxious at all!

I recently rec’d. 4 new crowns and I just have to say that I have never been so “unafraid” in a dentist’s chair as I was in this facility.  Everyone there was professional, friendly and genuinely cared about me.  The self -confidence and knowledge of all things dental displayed by Dr. Taherian did more to relieve my anxiety than any medication could possibly do…I have never felt “safer” in the hands of a dentist.  Marisa and Martha, whom I had the most interaction with, demonstrated the same kindness and confidence that I found in Dr. Taherian…and they all made me feel like  “a friend.”  I actually look forward to seeing all of them again…a feeling I never imagined one could have towards a dental office. 😉

I came to this office thanks to my aunt’s recommendation after I moved cross country. The office is clean, modern and nice. The staff is extremely pleasant, professional and accommodating with your schedule (thank you!!!! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that) they’ve extremely knowledgeable and helpful in any way possible, they’ve gotten me approved for financing which ended up boosting my credit substantially. Office visits are quick, nice and productive. Dr. Taherian is technically skilled and I don’t give out that praise easily – my last dentist was not great to say the least (reviewing that office next). From their financing, actual dental work done to their options of communication (they offer text notifications), this office is the top of the line. Can’t say enough good stuff. You can’t go wrong by choosing Laguna Niguel Dental and especially Dr. Taherian.

What a great overall experience. I found this office by way of needing urgent dental care. Needless to say, I am super impressed with the office staff and Dr. Taherian! They took perfect care of my urgent need and more. No one likes going to the dentist, so it’s absolutely necessary for the staff and doctor to be nice and actually like engaging with people. You can also tell that it’s a great place to work…smiles from the front desk to the last examining room. It’s the genuine thing here. I also look forward to the “end of appointment” hug from Martha! She’s a jewel! Check them out! You will not be sorry!

I haven’t had a regular check up or visit for almost 3 years. I’m 20 years old, on my own since 17 and I’m really use to people taking advantage of me because of my age. So Knowing I was very over due, I wanted to get myself checked. I walked in and everyone was super, super friendly. Bic, Who took my X-rays, was so sweet and gentle with me, it was fast and easy getting X-rays done. Dr. Taherian was an absolute pleasure to meet. By far the best dentist I have ever visited. She made me so comfortable, we had warm-hearted conversations and she made me feel like I can trust her with my health. Jen, the hygienist, was so sweet and gentle when checking my teeth, i barely felt any pain! It was like visiting family honestly. Martha was extremely helpful in helping me understand all of my payment options, and explaining my insurance to me, no fear in paying here!
I’m still young! Im learning a lot!  They made me feel educated and definitely won my trust. I plan on coming here Regularly and trusting them when I need care and advice. Also, definitely recommending all friends and family. Called my mom right away! Haha. Thank you so much Laguna Niguel dental!

Love this place. I went for the first time today. I’m new to the area, but my husband’s family has been going for years. I have to get a couple things done over the course of the next month– which would typically be overwhelming– but it surprisingly not a big deal.

Martha was so kind and warm when assisting me in helping me understand my insurance coverage and what I should expect to pay. She explained EVERYTHING. She went above and beyond to make sure I knew what I needed to know. She also took the time to ask about my family– and seemed genuinely interested and so sweet!

Dr. Taherian was also the epitome of endearing. She wanted what was best for me and took time to help me come up with a game plan of what procedure to tackle and how to do it!

I love this office and would recommend it to anyone.

I switched to this dental office initially because it’s very close to my work. The experience was much better than my last dentist, with a nicer office too! I needed a deep cleaning and was a little nervous. The hygienist was gentle, but very thorough. My follow up visit was great and my dental health is improving. I would recommend this office to all my friends and family.

My most favorite dental place ever! Everyone is so  genuinely friendly & welcoming. I never have to wait longer than a few minutes  after checking in & the services are always pleasant & fast. They explain everything that’s going on with you & what they are doing at the time. Never any pressure to get added services done that isn’t necessary yet.

I’ve been here only two times but it feels like family. A very welcoming and friendly atmosphere, but they still get down to business and tell you what you need to work on and how to do that which I love. I recommend them to all my friends.

Very friendly & patient staff, liked that they didn’t try to sell me services I didn.t need just to bill my insurance more $. Dentist was attentive and easy to talk too. Will be back for next check up.

I’ve been coming here for so many years and they always treat me like family! It’s more like seeing old friends than a dentist. I really love Dr Taherian- and when I switched to this office she was here too! The front end ladies are also so fantastic- especially Martha! It’s always (basically) painless and they value your comfort above all. Really the best dentist office ever.

I started going to LNDG about 7 or 8 years ago after a bad experience with another doctor. My insurance recommended this group and I have never been sorry. I have always had the best care and treatment from Dr. Teharian (she is the best) and her staff. I have recommended them to several friends and they have all called to thank me. I can’t say enough about the whole office. If you want a group of people who really care about you then this is the dentist for you.

It was so refreshing to deal with a dental office that focuses on what you want and not trying to sell you items/other services. Everyone was friendly, the dentist was great. The office is not fancy but if a good-honest Dentist is what you’re looking for, you’ll definitely get that here. Highly recommend them.

Let’s be honest not many people like going to the dentist but Laguna Niguel Dental Group made it pretty OK. The front office folks were great from the minute I called to make an appointment, to being able to submit my forms online (which made check-in less than 5 minutes) and being greeted the morning of my appointment. Shane, Reema and Dr. Taherian were fantastic when it came time to x-ray, clean and check my teeth. Everyone was professional, kind and patient (I had a lot of questions). I have to go back in a few weeks for a partial crown (I had a deep cleaning this appointment and that’s all I could handle :)). I am looking forward to going back as I know I will be treated well.

I really don’t understand the bad reviews, I never waited longer than a day for a call back or email response and everyone was extremely professional and kind. I did look at a couple of people who gave the office a bad review and realized they don’t like anyone/anyplace, they scored almost every place they had ever been a low score. Maybe they are the problem and not this office (just sayin’).

The office is very clean and welcoming.

I do not write Yelp reviews BUT this is the best dental office I have ever been to!  The receptionists are friendly and professional.  Martha, the financial coordinator is outstanding.  She will work with you for payment plans.  Dr. Taherian is the best.  Due to years of wear, my front teeth were chipping and cracking.  I finally had to have crowns put on my front six teeth.  I was scared that they would look fake and like porcelain.  I couldn’t be happier!!  They look great and I have received so many compliments about my smile.  Seriously do not know how anyone could have a bad review for this office.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Taherian and her staff. I have been getting my dental care through her for the last 3 years and could not be any happier. And this is a review that comes from a skeptical person. I was looking for a dentist who is professional, competent, and passionate, as well as understanding with a human touch. She also is surrounded by a caring and compassionate staff, who made me feel welcome without being judged, since I had negative experiences with other dentists in the past.
For the last 2 years, I have been driving all the way from San Diego to see Dr. Taherian, which speaks volumes about her dental care.

I have been coming here for years and I have found everyone in this office to be professional and caring. Dr. Taherian has always provided exceptional care to me and my daughter who first starting coming here at about age 8 – she’s 15 now.  Martha and the front office staff clearly get it and always have the answers to my questions.  I highly recommend this place!

I have honestly referred several friends to this office over the years. I first discovered Laguna Niguel Dental about 6 years ago when one of my teeth broke. From my first visit with her, Dr. Taherian has been terrific. She is a totally skilled professional with a great deal of compassion. She was able to save my tooth. I was thrilled with her work then and through the present with all she has done regarding my dental care.
During the past 6 years, I have had other dental needs that included a root canal and a dental implant. Laguna Niguel Dental’s specialists did a superb job addressing both of these dental problems as well.
Nobody wants to have dental problems, but when they arise it’s great to have the professionals at this office fix them. Or better yet, prevent them when possible.

Dr. Shabnam is a great dentist and an honest one. Another dentist had told me I had 5 cavities and needed (expensive dental) work. I thought that was strange since I take good care of my teeth and and I never usually have any cavities, so I went to Dr. Shabnam for a a second opinions as she came highly recommend by a friend. After reviewing my xrays and inspecting my teeth she told be the other dentist was (mistaking) and there is nothing wrong with my teeth. Don’t get ripped off by (dishonest) dentist, go see Dr. Shabnam instead.

Dr. Taherian is excellent dentist when she took out a tooth from my son’s mouth today. Usually my son is scared of going to dentist. This time Dr. Taherian put him at ease and he felt very comfortable with her. I would highly recommend Dr. Taherian to parent with kids afraid of dentist.c

I have been coming here and also bringing my kids here for the last three years and I love this office! Martha the dental benefits coordinator is probably one of the kindest and most helpful people I have ever met! Dr. Taherian is amazing as well and never tries to schedule unnecessary treatments. I have actually overheard her talking to Martha, asking her to convince a patient not to make an appointment for a procedure because the doctor felt it wasn’t necessary! I highly recommend this dental office, They treat you like family

Best cleaning and exam I have ever received. Jade the hygienist is thorough and works fast. I’m stoked.
