There are not enough words to express how happy I am with AV Sierra Dental! We had just gotten new dental insurance and I was on the look for a new dentist. I personally have dental anxiety and was looking for friendly, personable and kind dentist for me and my family. Due to the covid-19 virus, my husband and I have been postponed to further notice, but my daughter was able to get an appointment pre-pandemic for her first visit and 2 months in to fill in her cavities. First appointment was amazing, my husband and daughter toured the facility, they asked how she was doing and explained everything. My daughter also got a card signed by the dentist Dr. Oh and a little note which was a nice touch. The second appointment, which was today could not have gone more smoothly. My husband and daughter went again, followed covid-19 protocols and went on to do her cavities. When I spoke to her after her appointment, she raved about how nothing hurt! The mouth shots and drilling didn’t bother her at all! She also mentioned that she got to watch TV for both appointments which is a bonus. And as someone who has dental anxiety, this calmed me down and reassured me that this dentist is nothing, but amazing. We also got a phone call later from Dr. Oh to follow up to see how she was doing! I have had many dentists in the past and was not treated more than just a patient or another person to get money from. This place truly makes us feel more than that, they make you feel like family like all the other reviews mention. If you’re looking for a dentist, choose this place! You won’t regret it!

AV Sierra Dental Center is Great! Being new to the Antelope Valley, I searched on google to find a well reviewed dentist office. I called to inquire about fixing a chipped tooth and they were able to accommodate me the same day. They were able to text me a link to fill out all the necessary paperwork electronically to streamline the new patient process. Their staff is super friendly and and made the typically dreaded dentist experience a pleasure. The TV’s on the ceilings hooked up to Netflix was a nice touch ! I definitely recommend AV Sierra Dental Center and will be using them for the rest of my families dentistry needs.

I am really grateful for all the help that av sierra team has provided for my dad. I am so happy for him and his new teeth! A few months ago, my dad was in need of major dental work needing a full set of dentures with extractions and after doing my research, decided to take him to dr.oh which is near my dad. It was a long process which involved several visits but the staff there made it as smooth as possible. They were compassionate and accommodating the entire treatment process. Also, Dr.Oh himself called my dad to see how he was doing the day after the extraction! I am so pleased at the service that they have offered to my family and i would definitely recommend him to everyone i know.

I RARELY write reviews bec i am lazy and I work a lot, but AVS Dental deserves recognition so here we go. Before contacting and scheduling an appointment, I had called one of the highest rated dental offices in Lancaster on yelp which will remain nameless. Upon speaking with the cst rep, not only was i told they were booked for the entire month, but was also informed my delta insurance needed to be verified before any procedures could be performed given i’m a new patient..wait, what? Since Delta is only open on weekdays, she said would call me on Monday once my insurance coverage was verified. I could not wait until Feb to get some work done on my teeth so I decided to keep looking and reading reviews. That’s when I came across AV Sierra Dental. I called and was surprised they were able to take me in within an hour of calling! I was like whoa. My insurance was already verified upon arriving. The wait time (approx 10 mins) was not too bad. While inside everything was explained to me crystal clear. The entire team had demonstrated professionalism. The best part was Dr. Oh called me after 7pm to see how i was doing. Now that’s top notch customer service. I couldn’t have asked for a better service. A follow-up call from the dental clinic after a major procedure is always appreciated. I am pleased to say that I have finally found a great dentist in AV.

I came to AV Sierra Dental to have a full mouth restoration. Dr. Oh previously had done dental work for my fiance and not onIy was the work done beautifully but they treated him so well. I have a chronic autoimmune disease and medications destroyed almost all of my teeth. I needed a very skilled and knowledgeable dentist and I found that dentist in Dr. Jason Oh. I have seen specialists, all kinds of doctors, dentists and none of them could even compare to the expertise, compassion, and understanding of Dr. Oh. I asked questions, interrupted at times and always was given a patient, thorough explanation. I had every single tooth worked on with great pain control. He was so gentle, I found myself falling asleep often. His assistants are so caring and skilled as well. I had the pleasure of having Lupe, Dolores and Jennifer (each at different appointments) in the room helping Dr. Oh, while making sure I was comfortable the whole time. After intense dental work, Dr. Oh would even gave me a call to be sure I wasn’t in pain and doing well. I cannot recommend a dentist and dental office more than I would AV Sierra Dental. I’m in my 50s, have seen many dentists throughout my life and I trust Dr. Oh with all my heart. And you know when you go into a dental office or any office and the doctor is the best but the staff isn’t so welcoming? It’s the complete opposite here. Everyone is so kind. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm welcome. You feel comfortable immediately. I’ve had my teeth cleaned by both of the hygienists and both were so gentle, so kind and gave me great tips to keep my mouth healthy. They both completely eased my anxiety. If you’re fearful of dentists or simply want an excellent dentist, don’t hesitate to make an appointment. With my health not being the greatest, I was fearful of anyone working on my teeth. Not only was my health taken in consideration, my dental work and treatment was done in the safest, best way for me. My teeth are perfect!I have so much respect, gratitude and love for Dr. Oh and his staff. They gave me back my smile.

This place was amazing. I am new to my dental insurance and was unsure about where i can go and what would be covered. AV Sierra dental was the first place i called off the list that was provided to me though the insurance. First impressions mean a lot and they made a great one. The moment i called with questions in regards to my insurance they were quick to assist me. Even got me in same day for a consult. I usually tend to get nervous at the dentist office, but the staff and the Dr were wonderful. They broke down my total for all the work i needed done. Showed me what my insurance covered and even help set me up for a payment arrangement. I have had horrible experiences in the past at other facilities. But this was truly a pleasant experience. I look forward to continuing my care with them.

My wife found this place due to the 5 star reviews. We live 40 miles away and she decided to go with the best reviewed Dental Office. Took me a year but finally realized it was worth it myself to go with Dr Oh and his staff. They truly are all amazing from the front office to the specialists in the back. They all care personally and passionately and Dr Oh’s demeanor is honest and authentic….. that’s the heart of this place. So, if you find yourself looking for a place that doesn’t look at you as just a bag of money and will scare you into treatment that’s questionable, this is the place that will take care if you like a human. This is a great dental center right here in the AV. No need to drive to Los Angeles for your dental care. Dr Oh and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly really know what their doing….!!! My entire family has undergone dental work here with great results and very little pain. I came here as a new patient to get a check up since its been about a year from my last visit to a dental office. I was worried and nervous, knowing I was going to definitely need to get some work done. As I arrived, I was greeted with a smile by Jenny. She informed me I would need to fill out their new patient forms and gave me a tablet and explained what and how to use it. I love that their new patient forms are needed to be filled out/signed through a tablet instead of paper (saves so much time). As I headed towards the exam room, Christina introduced herself and she is quite the spark plug. Her personality fills the room and makes you feel at ease. Jane the treatment coordinator is very knowledgeable and straight forward when it comes to explaining your treatment and developing a game plan for you. She is very sweet and cares about you and your dental needs. Christina gave me a great cleaning and works very fast, gently and explains what she is going to do as she is doing it (no suprising pain). She even gave me a pillow for my back (since I informed them I suffer from back pain). Once she finished with my cleaning, it was on to work on my two cavities. Dolores was very nice and provided the same kind of care and numbed me up very well with the topical. I didn’t even feel the needle Dr. Oh was using to numb me for my cavities. Dr. Oh was amazing! I could tell immediately that he is genuinely humble and cares about his patients. Overall, this place is AMAZING and I will definitely be referring friends and family…even strangers! Lol

Coming into a dentist office always makes me nervous, but from the first phone call to schedule my appointment the office staff were so sweet and friendly and helpful. Then actually coming into the office and finding out everyone is just as friendly and caring made my visit so much more enjoyable and I’m honestly very excited to continue returning for my dental needs. My wait time was maybe 5 minutes if that. You can tell that everyone there is ready to work. Very clean office and I was very happy on being able to see my X-rays and pictures of my teeth. Definitely recommend this place.

I had another wonderful experience at AV Sierra Dental Clinic with Dr. Oh! I’ve been going to this dentist office for eight years and Dr. Oh has saved my teeth and has maintained them wonderfully. My review is long overdue… roughly three years overdue!! Before visiting AV Sierra Dental Center, I had been to a handful of dental offices in the AV in attempt to find the right dentist for me. Dr. Oh has done such a great job with my various dental procedures (including a dental implant). The rest of the staff is lovely!! You get treated kindly, respectfully, and never feel pressured to have a procedure if it’s not the right time. I have recommended most of my family members and they also appreciate the work done at AV Sierra Dental. I love this group and will be following them to their new office.

I went in for the 1st time Monday 3/26 because I was having severe pain from my bottom left wisdom tooth. Dr. Oh saw me and he recommended I return to remove all 4 of my wisdom teeth. He knew how nervous I was but assured me everything will be fine. I went in today 4/5 at 10 a.m. for my procedure. Dr Oh and his lovely assistant Lupe took good care of me. Love Dr Oh and his staff. Everyone is very nice and competent and make sure that you know what is going on with your treatment and the cost. Dr Oh has very gentle hands and really knows how to do work with skill and in the most pain-free manner possible. Very nice person too! Price for 6 fillings was reasonable and that matters to me since I am a patient who pays with cash. I first came to Dr Oh with some tooth pain and he noticed something major that was going on with one of my previous root canals (done by another dentist years ago) and figured out that I had a bone infection due to some dubious work done by my past dentist. I got it fixed and am on the mend now. Very professional and trustworthy, the kind of person you want to work on your teeth!

Let me start by saying I hate dentists, & dental offices. I never seem to pick a dentist who’s caring, assuring, and sympathetic. I also never can pick on office that’s clean and welcoming. WELL I DID THIS TIME!!! I GOT BOTH HERE! The entire building is beautiful inside. The waiting room, the hallways, the patient rooms, everything. The ladies at the front desk are welcoming, happy, very sweet. There’s a coffee bar in the waiting room and a very good color scheme. I went to the patient room which is also beautiful and clean, the dental assistant was very thorough, and attentive. Then, I met with Doctor Oh, his voice is soft, he speaks to you like he truly wants to help, and tells you all of his recommendations for getting you on track. I got to see all of my xrays & all of my pictures, we went over every detail and he answered every question I had. Afterwards, Jane came to get me and went over my pricing, my insurance, and booked my future appointment. She left the room and came back with a GIFT for being a first time patient!!!!! What the heck I’ve never gotten a present from a dentist lol. I won’t tell you what it is cause I want you to go there and get your own!!! Then I asked her about the toothbrush you receive for checking in on yelp. This is no regular toothbrush. This is like a oral B 10 thousand, battery charged, TOOTHBRUSH! Oh and I forgot to mention, in the patient room their TVs are on the ceiling so you can watch while you’re laying down waiting. You guys gotta go here. I found the gem of all dental offices!

Dr. Oh’s office had excellent reviews and he and his staff lived up to them. Multiple reviews mentioned how nice the office staff is. They were not exaggerating – I was surprised that every single staff member I met from Dr. Oh to the hygienist Christina to staff members Janet (I think that’s the name of the very sweet girl who took my X-rays), Jessica, Jane and Stephanie was genuinely nice and interested in client care! I don’t know what Dr. Oh does to keep morale so high but there are a lot of offices across the country who could use his training! After the initial X-rays and teeth pictures (they have a very cool camera that takes pictures inside the mouth) that Janet took (painlessly!), Dr. Oh reviewed my case and came up with observations and a very do-able treatment plan. Then Christina (very gentle!) cleaned and polished my teeth. By the time I left, all the plaque I had before Christina’s work was gone! I also met the periodontist who seemed just as knowledgeable, well educated and kind as Dr. Oh. I highly recommend Dr. Oh and his office staff. The dental work is 5-star; the prices are reasonable; and the staff is dedicated to making the client comfortable.

6/19/2020: I had another smooth, and relaxing day at the dentist! I just received fillings and a cleaning and was really impressed with how efficient everything was with the new sanitation and social distancing policies in place. I felt very secure and safe the whole time I was there! Great job Dr. Oh, and Christina, the cleaning and fillings look great! Thanks also to Jessica and Stephanie manning the front desks, as well as the manger who was working behind the scenes! I recommend Dr. Oh, and staff to my mother, sister and brother-in-law and they have all gone there and have told me how pleased they are with AV Sierra Dental’s care! Keep up the great work!! Updated 7/28/2019: I had my 4th appointment at AV Sierra Dental on July 26th. This was the first step in the process to get two implants. I have to say… “What a GREAT experience I had. I had two extractions done and I can’t believe how quick and effortless it was. There I was anticipating the whole “yank and pull,” (which is the experience I had when I had my 4 wisdom teeth removed, when I lived in Chicago back in 2001) and to my present surprise right when I thought Dr. Oh, and Jenny were about to begin the “hard” part, Dr. Oh tells me, “Okay, all done!” I was so shocked. I asked in disbelief, “what do you mean?” I had thought we were extracting both teeth, I thought maybe there had been a change of plans. When I asked to see the two teeth, to my amazement, there they were. I couldn’t believe they had extracted both teeth already. Great job to Dr. Oh, and Jenny for doing a great extraction, and bone graft! I sensed they were doing some stitching, but I just assumed they were going to be using this stitching to help in the extraction process some how. Of course Stephanie at the front desk was awesome and helpful at the beginning and ending of my appointment. Over all everyone working there has just such a great attitude! I’m not exaggerating. Two days before my two extractions, Steven had given me a deep cleaning on my right side. He was awesome, and a few weeks before that Suven deep cleaned my left side. I had great conversations with both! Shot out to Lupe and Jane (who was on vacation this visit) for also being a great help to me in my precious appointments! Everyone always looks sharp, are kind, very professional, and compassionate! I gave two of my cards to my mom and step dad which will be moving to the area soon. Keep up the great work!! I’m a new patient, and haven’t been to a dentists office in a couple of years. I’m glad is listed to my friend who recommended me to this office. This place was bright, warm, and welcoming. Everyone there was polite, kind, professional, and full of smiles! It started with Stephanie at the front desk, then Lupe in the exam room, followed up by Dr Jason Oh, and topped off with with a great talk with Jane and Dulce! Great staff that wants you to succeed with your dental goals. I’ve had several root canals and although it can be a bit nerve wrecking staff has successfully put me at ease every time. I absolutely love this dental team! It’s always great to see them. I see them almost every month for my Invisalign now. I did first come here based on their availability… I called and needed a fill ASAP… they were able to get me in on such a short notice. I was happy they accepted care credit. I hadn’t read any reviews but sure was glad I picked this office. I love the text reminders and email reminders. I’m always on my phone but not able to answer it. Thankful that they are moving towards the west side, closer to my home. I don’t mind the drive though, they’re worth it. Definitely recommend Dr. Oh and his team to help with your.

I was experiencing slight discomfort on my tooth and needed somewhere quick to check it out. I used Yelp to find the best location in the area since I wasn’t familiar with any. I came in expecting the usual routine set-up but this place is far from usual, in all the great ways. From the wonderful ladies up front to the amazing hygienist and doctors in this office, I was absolutely taken back by the amazing work they do here. Not only do they go to extreme measures to make you feel comfortable, you can really sense their respect and admiration for one another’s skill. I’m always pretty scared of the numbing agent as I’ve had one bad experience in the past (different location) but both doctors made me feel secure about my procedure. I feel confident returning to them with any questions/concerns. They have so many small details that can be appreciated, you really just need to experience it yourself. I’m not permanently local but I’ll definitely be making this location my usual for check-ups and any work needed. It’ll definitely be worth the 2hr drive!

I broke a tooth and had a filling fall out. Upon arrival I was greeted and ask to fill out paperwork. To my surprise it was done on a tablet, this made it go very quickly. I was called to the back and got X-rays done taken the exam room and had photos taken of my teeth as well. The Dr examined my teeth and explained with the X-rays and photos so there was total understanding on my part as to what the issues were. I was shown a break down of cost and what my insurance covered and what I was responsible for. I agreed and had the work done given Novocain drilled on patched up fitted for a crown and given a temporary one until next week. Had every thing taken care of my 3 teeth worked on and out in about 3 hours. The entire staff were friendly and made me feel appreciated.

My experience there is always awesome, the staff is friendly and the dentist goes completely out of his way to please the costumer. Once I got there and the dentist was about to close the office, him and one staff member was closing and I told him I had a chipped tooth in the front of my mouth and was embarrassed to talk or smile so what he did next surprised me he told the staff member to prep a room as she was going out and he personally got on the computer to check me in then did a fantastic job of reparing my tooth. I am a true fan of AV Sierra Dental Center – I first found AV SD and Dr. Oh on Yelp and have been a fan ever since. As a dental patient, I can appreciate Dr. Oh’s swift and trained hand and professional demeanor. I was dreading my appointment for wisdom tooth removal because of a pervious terrible sci-fi-like experience. This was defeintely not the case with Dr. Oh. He and his staff were very accommodating and eased my nervousness. He quickly removed my tooth and the whole thing took less than ten minutes without any post-removal issues and almost no pain. Svette (I am sure I am spelling her name wrong, sorry) is my dental hygienist technician. She takes her time to clean my teeth and really listen to my dental issues or concerns. I make sure to schedule my appointments with her when I am due for my cleanings. I am very satisfied with AV Sierra Dental.

I called Monday morning as soon as they opened to see if they had availability to bring me in since I chipped my lower molar while eating a candy. They said they could fill me in at 2pm and I was so grateful! They called me in around 1030 saying they had an availability for an even sooner time. During this Coronavirus they have changed their protocols but it’s still fast, very friendly, and clean office. Dr. Oh did the procedure very fast and very pain free he even went out of his way in the afternoon to give me a call and make sure I was doing ok. So once again I truly appreciate the fact that they were able to fit me in. Dr.Oh is the kindest and most caring dentist I have ever been to. I am a new patient and from the moment I called to make an appt, a dental assistant ‘Jennifer’ welcomed me on board. Not only are they a wonderful and skilled dental practice but they truly care about people. For the first time ever going to a dentist I felt like they really wanted to care for me and my needs. I went to AV Sierra Dental Center about a week ago to get a second opinion on a filling I had done down in San Diego. This filling had already been redone two times and I was sure that it was not going to be good news going in for this Dr. Oh’s opinion. Scheduling an appointment was so easy and they were able to get me in two hours after they opened. They were very quick in taking me back, getting the xrays that were needed, and getting me in a room. Dr. Oh is simply outstanding. He took the time to ask me what my symptoms were, what he could see in the xrays and did some tests. He recommended that the filling be replaced for a 3rd time. I was nervous, but didn’t want to live in pain. The procedure itself was painless. I didn’t feel the injection at all, none and he did it very slowly. The filling has been great since he replaced it, with no pain or sensitivity since then. This will be my new dentist office now that I have relocated to the AV. If you are in search of a kind and compassionate dental office AND dentist you need to check this place out. Thank you Dr. Oh and Team!

I am very impressed with the way my first appointment went today at AV Sierra! First, everything was very clean and COVID precautions were taken early on. Starting with a Covid screening sent via text, sanitizing upon entering, distancing, masks.. etc. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The hygienist Alyssa is so kind and knowledgeable. She really took the time to explain my X-rays and shared a few tips that will help improve my overall oral health and hygiene. This was was important to me because I know I’ve neglected my oral health in the past and want to take better care of it now. Dr. Oh saw me afterwards and was very welcoming. He then went into detail about my treatment and answered all my questions. The entire team made it so comfortable to be there and look forward to future dentist visits! I know right? Feels great to say that. Yelp reviews are the reason why I went and I hope my review helps others find this great dental office.
