I found Brea dentist when I had an ache on my right side. Turned out I had a root canal…cried. But I’m glad I found them because they were great! My dentist was so kind and she knew exactly what to do. Completely helped me recover. When I had to get a crown she recommended what she thought would look the best since it’s close to the front and I’m a girl, so I do care about that stuff. She didn’t pressure me though since it costed more but I went with what she recommended and I’m so glad I did because you can’t even tell. The assistants are all very kind as well. Bottom line, I’m just glad I found a dentist I can trust and go to.

Barbara and Sergio did an amazing job on my cleaning. I have always disliked going to the dentist but this was a pleasant, even enjoyable visit. Sergio was super friendly and made me comfortable talking about basketball. Dr Barbara was nice and made me comfortable when she started my cleaning. I also got a free teeth cleaning kit. I thought it would be a cheap kit but they took my impressions and left me surprised. I have always hated the dentist and if my dentist as a kid were Dr Barbara and Sergio, I would have a different opinion for sure. Thank you guys for the cleaning!

Staff is really nice, and competent! I hate the dentist because my teeth are so sensitive-they listened to me and made sure I was comfortable the whole time! Definitely would recommend!!!!

The staff and all the dentists here are very friendly. I don’t have to wait too long, which is always nice. This office takes my insurance so I did some research on yelp before I got here, and after my visit I can confirm that the previous reviews are true that I feel comfortable coming here for all my teeth issues!

Great experience, knowledge Dr. Gentle and expedient care. Honest and comprehensive. Friendly staff. They worked with my schedule and accommodated my need for immediate care due to insurance lapsing. Loved it!

I just had my cleaning here after being referred. I do not like going to the dentist and even though I needed to wait longer than usual to be seen (computer problems) My hygienist and Dentist were great to work with. I have a small mouth they were gentle and not aggressive.

Very pleasant first time visit. It’s not easy to find a good dental office, but I think this is it. The Dr. Gaffino and her staff are very nice and friendly. This office is very modern and high-tech. They explain everything in detail and no pressure at all to do any procedures. Looking forward to my next visit to do the procedures I need to be done.

I just wanted to express my gratitude for the past few years of being one of your customers. Dr. Gaffino and all of the staff there have been amazing. I moved out to Hermosa Beach and decided to seek out a new dentist closer to home. Finding a dentist you like and trust is like looking for a needle in a hay stack! I live in long beach but the drive to Brea is so worth it.

Dr. Gaffino and her team are highly trained professionals that provide excellent dental services.

I recently called in to make and appointment and although their appointment book was filled up Dr. Gaffino squeezed me in her lunch hour as I had a tooth ache.

The staff are very friendly and courteous, the office has state of the art technology and most importantly the doctors and staff carefully explain the required procedures and make you comfortable with the treatment.

I have to say that trips to the dentist are no longer a stressful experience but a pleasant one.

Dr Gaffino was very professional and explained in detail what work I needed to have done.   They went over insurance , cost and what my insurance covered. I felt very comfortable and in good hands.  The place is spotless and every one who works there is very helpful. I definitely recommend this dentist  and office. Thanks.

I’m usually apprehensive when it comes to picking a dentist but I am so happy I gave Brea Dentists a try! The biggest issue I have experienced with many dentists is that they are worse than used car salesman. They are eager to sell and up-sell you into things you do not need. What I absolutely appreciate is that was not the case here. The dentist was not only conservative but was extremely informative and helped me to understand what I could do on my part to avoid expensive work in the future. She was so friendly and I could tell that she truly cares about her patients, as did the entire staff. I felt very comfortable and cared during both of my visits. The office itself boasts the latest technology and is extremely clean. I work late hours and the front desk was also very flexible with my appointment times. I would recommend giving Brea Dentists a try. You will be happy that you did!

The brea dentists is the best dentist office I have ever been to. They are friendly and help you understand what your long term dental plan is. The team is professional, yet fun, so you can relax. They have great, up-to-date equipment so you know you’re getting the best care!

Today I was helped by Sergio, and he was wonderful! He did his job very well, and I felt so comfortable during my crown procedure. Dr. Gaffino came in and checked in on my procedure too, ensuring I was doing well!

I love her because she doesn’t recommend something you don’t need, and makes sure you get the right treatment/procedure for you; unlike other offices I have been to. She runs her practice with honesty and integrity.

So far my experience here has been great. I recently had to switch dentists since we moved and my insurance changed. After doing some research I came across Brea Dentists. With all of the positive reviews my husband and I decided to check it out. We scheduled a check up with Dr. Gaffino and we were seen on time. The x-ray technician took me in the back and was very thorough about what she was going to do. The office is up to date and high tech which I really liked. After the x-ray I met Dr. Gaffino and she is so nice. She gave me her recommendations and explained why it would benefit me. A few weeks after I made an appointment for a deep cleaning and met Amanda. She is not only nice, but very professional. She made everything painless and constantly checked up on me to see how I was doing. Everyone is wonderful here and I would highly recommend Brea Dentists to my friends and family.

I love this place!  It’s been a great experience from registering as a new patient to my first visit!  I was warmly greeted and registered by Michelle without hassle (they’re pretty high-tech here), my x-rays were quick and comfortable (Thank you, Brenda!).  Dr. Gaffino is spectacular!  She clearly explained my situation.  She didn’t make me feel guilty for waiting so long to see a dentist.  They were able to start my SRP during this first visit.  My hygienist, Lena, was great too; she did half of my mouth quickly and PAIN-FREE!  All of my costs and benefits were clearly explained (Thank you, Amy!).  I enjoyed the sense of humor among the staff and honestly felt like I mattered to them.  Bottom line … if you’re looking for a dental office that will care about you … look no further!  The entire team here is stellar!  Had I known how well I could be treated, I wouldn’t have waited this long to see a new dentist.  Once you confirm your appointment, they can send you a link to an online form to take care of all of the health history-registration data before your visit.  Very convenient!  THANK YOU BREA DENTISTS!  YOU ROCK!

My husband and I have been going to Brea Dentists for over two years now. Dr. Gaffino is an excellent dentist and very personable. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. And, the office is clean and inviting. I highly recommend them!!

I had another wonderful experience at Brea Dentists this morning! I have been going to Dr. Gaffino since Brea Dentists opened a couple of years ago.  

The staff at the office are great, I always leave with a smile and look forward to getting to go back. Dr. Gaffino definitely instills a strong feeling of trust, I know that any treatment she suggests is needed. She’s also the first dentist I’ve ever had check for any signs of oral cancer, slightly unnerving that no other dentists have done that.

I’ve referred a number of friends to Brea Dentists and they’ve all been equally satisfied. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone in North OC looking for a dentist!

Been coming here for two years, and Dr. Gaffino does great work. I had as crown done, and compared to my other crown you can hardly notice it.

I noticed other people saying that they felt like they were being “up sold”, but that has not been my experience. Anything that Dr. Gaffino has told me I needed I have already heard from my previous dentist (i.e mouth guard, replace old fillings, etc).

The staff is friendly, the doctor does great work, and each dental chair has a big flat screen in front of it playing a movie. What more do you need?

I had a pleasant experience at Brea Dentists recently. Everyone was courteous and genuinely friendly on all levels. All my many needed operations/procedures went perfectly smoothly. Dr. Barbara is a very comforting and informative specialist/doctor..a perfectionist who graciously helped the process move along quite nicely for me. All the other nurses, assistants, surgeons, and receptionists were great in every way as well. This place even helped me with applying for credit to finance the work I had done. Nice perk!

I love Dr. Gaffino!!! She and her team are a wonderful group of professionals. They have such excellent bedside care. She and her team are also extremely inclusive of the patients as part of the entire dental planning process. The team’s work ethic and the quality of their work is remarkable! There is absolutely no way you can go wrong with this dental office. The team works collaboratively and in unison. This dental office is truly OUTSTANDING!

It had been a year and a half since I had been to the dentist. Yikes. I’ll be entirely honest and admit that it’s because I’ve had bad experiences at dentists other than the one I grew up going to. But it’s not practical to drive down to San Diego just to see my dentist, so I put on my big girl pants, printed a list of dentists my insurance covers (thanks dad), and did some investigation.

My search turned up Dr. Gaffino at Brea Dentists. I scheduled an appointment  and filled out the registration online which was great! All that was left for me to do was show up.

All members of the staff from the moment I walked in were friendly and personable. The assistant who took the X-Rays (Debra) made me feel so comfortable through out the process as I was really quite nervous. Dr. Gaffino came in and did an exam of my teeth before starting the cleaning. In explaining the state of my mouth, she referenced the x-rays and some additional pictures she took with the camera wand thingy. No fillings needed but she did suggest a deep clean in certain areas of my mouth that having looked at the x-rays and photos I agreed with.

I opted in for the deep cleaning because it had been a year and a half and the copay wasn’t all that bad. Much cheaper to pay that then to deal with bigger problems down the line. The cleaning was painless and quick with the help of the topical numbing gel.

I scheduled an appointment for 6 months from now on my way out, happily carrying my free toothbrushing kit (perfect to keep in my car!). Is it weird to say I’m actually looking forward to it?

I could not be happier with my experience. When people ask for a survey and put 5 stars across the board to get it over with, that’s not done here. These are truly well deserved 5 stars. From my check in to my check out. I could not ask for a better experience!! Great conversation, warm welcome and overall great staff. I love going to the dentist because of my experience!

This is a fantastic office.  I have had many types of procedures: root canal (specialist comes in), crowns, periodontal cleaning, the works!  Dr. G is very friendly and does a good job explaining things.  I also really like all of the dental assistants and front staff.  When I moved here I was most worried about finding a new office but this one is awesome!  They are gentle, caring, and so nice!  Everything I have in my mouth is of the highest quality too!  I will be coming here for a long time.

Drove from Torrance for this – and it was a great decision. Very nice office, friendly, professional staff, brand new high tech equipment and great electronic online modern service! A great experience overall!

Dr Barbara explains everything in detail. Makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Answers all questions and concerns. Checks constantly to make sure everything is okay, and she does amazing work.

A flat panel TV in each treatment room with a movie running helps entertain and distract the patient.

I used to be petrified of dentist visits. Now I’m committed to going to Brea Dentists twice a year for well needed maintenance.

Came in to this office a few days ago and couldn’t believe how great my experience was. Everybody was extremely professional and nice. I left my last dentist for charging me more than what my insurance said I should pay. My last dentist told me I need so many different procedures when in reality I did not. Dr. Gaffino was very thorough with what I needed which was just a cleaning and a filling. Don’t listen to the bad reviews posted on here. A friend of mine comes here as well and is more than satisfied with this place! The Dr. is very honest and genuine.
