Oh, what can I say – Dr. Patel has the expertise (and then some, more than a typical dentist). She has built a team that will care about you, your life, your fears/worries, and will work with your budget and insurance to map a care plan. A plan that is for today, but implements simple things and treatments that will save you THOUSANDS of dollars and quite a bit of pain. Shout out to Cristine (care team and financial wizard) and Ebony (very, very skilled dental assistant, and so caring!). I went to check out her office and find out what is wrong (I’ve had very mild gum pain, visible tartar buildup, and stained teeth). Dr. Patel and her team took a data-driven approach to rank order the problems and the solutions. And showed emotional intelligence in recommending what I should do, including knowing my budget and insurance coverage. Based on that experience – I scheduled an appointment for my partner. That was today – and wow, they met the situation for him, and we left with more understanding of how to act and when to get specific procedures done. We have an understanding that over time everything will get addressed, and her team did not push us on that! If you are looking for a dentist and an exceptional team, look no further. PS. I went to Dr. Patel to get my mercury fillings removed. She was efficient, explained the entire process and made me feel very comfortable. The entire process was quick and painless. Dr. Patel completed the appointment with the BEST dental cleaning I have ever experienced. I will definitely go back for other services. Dr. Patel and her staff go above and beyond to provide amazing service and care.

I have been extremely satisfied with Dr. Patel and her staff over my last several visits.  The level of professionalism and common courtesy exhibited by everyone within Green Dentistry is of the highest qualitative nature.   Across all of my visits, the moment I entered the office, I sincerely felt that my dental health and psyche were of their highest priority.  I am one of those individuals that tend to experience heightened levels of anxiety when visiting most health practitioners. However, the front desk attendants helped to ease my nerves with complimentary smoothies and/or teas to help diminish my anxieties.  I tend to be the sort to arrive early to most appointments, yet at no particular time did I ever feel as if I was a patient lingering around a waiting room.  The office provided music and movies to help pass the time before my appointment time.  Honestly, experientially speaking, I always felt as if I was about to have a spa day in lieu of a dental appointment. When commencing with my actual appointments, between the dental hygienist and Dr. Patel, I have always experienced a heightened level of mindfulness of my care on their part.  Cognizant of my anxiety issues, they were quick to react to any particular discomfort I may have manifested with articulation of the procedures and providing anxiety reducing techniques (i.e., aromatherapy and music/movie selection).  I cannot speak enough to the level of transparency Dr. Patel (including the hygienist) provided to me regarding recommended treatments.   I would highly recommend Green Dentistry to all of my family and friends who are looking for quality dental care.

I’ve been in San Francisco for almost 10 years, and I’ve bounced around from dentist to dentist, never really feeling “connected,” so to speak, to one or another, until I found Dr. Patel.   Upon arriving to her office I am always offered water, tea or even a smoothie.  Everything in her office in environmentally sound and she put special thought into each detail.  I am also environmentally aware, so this meant a lot to me. The office is incredibly calming and so is Dr. Patel.  I’ve suffered from grinding for years and practically sold my last dentist on selling me a night guard!!  I understand that many dentist don’t want to be the “bearer of bad news”, but it’s their responsibility, even if we don’t want to hear it half the time as patients.  Dr. Patel explained what exactly was going on with my grinding, showed me pictures and walked me through every step of my treatment plan.  I was made aware of every single fee that would be associated before moving forward and then was offered to get started that same day, which helped me out a ton since I travel for work and have a tight schedule.   The office is great at following up with you if you need treatment, and I of course received a lovely phone call the next day.  Oh, and when I was in the office, I was given a gift, homemade chocolate, just for coming it, and it was amazing!! I’ve never been treated like anything other than a regular run of the mill patient in any medical office.  Dr. Patel goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and safe.  She clearly invested in several amenities at her office, which I’m sure were costly, but stand out and really helped me to just relax the whole time.   I’ll never go anywhere else, even if I left the city, I’d still come see Dr. Patel and team.  They are exceptional, have clearly prepared to be the very best and it shows.  I would literally be upset if I couldn’t see her anymore, she is an awesome dentist, and overall, an amazing human being.  Much love to Dr. Patel and team, thank you for educating me and taking care of me every single time I’m there!!

Thank you Dr Patel for taking such great care of my teeth. I found Dr Patel when I was looking for a dentist that would be more health conscious. It took me awhile to find such a dental office….but in the mid-2000’s I saw an add for a new dentist in San Francisco, where I was living at the time. Dr Patel has a state-of the-art facility. Her office is environmentally pro-active. And, she had financing available that allowed me to care for my oral hygiene beyond my own expectations. Not only did Dr Patel save the molar that led me to her office….she opened my mind to a whole new generation of dentistry! I was able to have the amalgam fillings removed and replaced with Cerec. She found old filling and decay under an existing crown that I had with the digital imaging her highly efficient office provides. She and her hygienists took note of how I care for my teeth, and instead of telling me how to do it better….they always taught me how to get the best out of my routine. Which over time has improved. I continued to return to Dr Patel for my cleanings even after I moved from the Bay area. Recently, I once again relocated and decided to find a local dentist. I successfully have found a dental office that can give me the same quality and sophistication of care that I received from Dr Patel and her staff. It’s been about 8 years since Dr Patel repaired my teeth. My new dentist has seen many a botched Cerec procedure….but was very complimentary towards Dr Patel for the excellence and the longevity of her work. So, I am grateful and pleased to recommend her! It is true that these procedures are not cheap. I was able to accomplish such a thing through creative financing. And, I am so glad I did! I’m 61 years old and I have all my teeth in perfect health and condition…this goes for my gums, as well. Wishing you all the best Dr Patel!! PS: Dr Patel has alot to offer the anxious patient. I moved to the bay area 8 months ago from New York State. Up until that time I had been afraid to go the dentist from a horrible experience with a root canal in my hometown. After running into a representative of Dr. Patel’s office at the Green conference herein San Francisco I decided it was time to give my health the attention it deserved… even though I knew there was much work to be done. my first impression of Dr. Patel’s office came through the Staff who were informative, helpful and a step above. They really helped me to feel comfortable and explained payment plans, and answered the many questions before I decided to come into the office for a visit. Once there I was given a tour of the office and shown all of the fun little environmental steps that Dr. Patels has taken to make the business truly green, going above and beyond no mercury fillings! I met with Dr. Patel before any machinery was whizzing around my face. I told her of my history with the dentist and that I knew there was a lot of work to be done. Dr. Patel assured me that  my comfort was of upmost importance and over the last 6 months of working with her I have come to understand that she actually meant this!   The equipment in the office is state of the art: it is efficient, green and better on the body ( my body is very sensitive so I have come to really appreciate this.) During my initial visit Dr. Patel went through tooth by tooth and showed me what was wrong and explained the procedures that would be needed to set things back in balance. After we created a game pan for the work together I was given several payment options. Being a student in this crazy economy I was unable to qualify for the care credit cards so Dr. Patel kindly worked with me to create a payment plan which i have been so thankful for. Most of the procedures were done in Dr. Patel’s Union square office. For the few procedures that she was not able to do, she referred me to EXCELLENT doctors. I am absolutely pleased with all of the work that took place in her office and with each referral. Dental work will have its discomforts. Dr. Patel and her staff have helped to restore my faith in good service in a field I very much distrust.    I am am very grateful for the care I received in her office and look forward to the sense of ease I feel in knowing that when I need a cleaning or a procedure that it is WORTH the money.  I highly recommend this office to anyone who wold like top notch dental work without the mercury!

Dr. Patel was very welcoming and listened to my concerns. This was such a breath of fresh air for me. I usually dislike going to the dentist as I feel my concerns are never really listened to. She was very thorough with the check up and explained exactly what was going on and we made a plan to fix issues that other dentists only commented on. She had so much knowledge to share and love the holistic approach. I’m amalgm mercury filling free now! Very easy and quick i recommend her to everyone!

First dentistry I am truly excited to go return to for any procedures. Dr. Patel and her personnel have such warm, caring and loving energies. They holistically treat their patients which is so rare. I regularly come here for my cleanings. I also did my whitening and invisalign here. Previously, I thought that invisalign had only cosmetic effect. I can’t thank Dr. Patel enough for patiently explaining me the benefits of straight teeth, correct bite and how it affects my health. So happy with the result! 

Green Dentistry is about as good as it gets for dentistry.  Nammy Patel and her staff really go the extra mile to put you at ease and make sure you feel cared for.  As I have gotten older, some issues have arisen like excessive plaque production, which really stirred my “stuff” in terms of feeling like I haven’t been doing enough, despite brushing and flossing the recommended times and amounts, eating a healthy diet, exercising etc.  Nammy helped me to recognize that this was not an error on my part, but helped me understand the impact of stress and cortisol, as well as hormones (as I am in perimenopause) on the health of your teeth.  When having some particularly difficult work done, I found Nammy and her staff very focused on my emotional needs, something I have never experienced before from a dentist.  Having worked my whole career in mental health, I found this attention to the psychsocial aspect of care to be profoundly important.  When I got tearful, she would check in on me and ask how I was doing, if I was in pain etc.  I find they are particularly sensitive to whether or not you are in pain and strive to make your experience as pleasurable as possible. I personally LOVE the spa-like environment!  I love the massage table, warm neck wraps, paraffin hand waxes and movies.  She works hard to make a potentially unpleasant experience truly amazing! She also makes a mean Indian spiced almond butter you will want to try!  I love that Nammy strives to make her practice better and to try and spread what she is doing.  I love that her business is a certified green business.  She is really doing cutting edge work.   I feel all the staff really care and are interested in you as a person.  I have never had any problems with insurance, except when I met my OOP max for the year.  In that case, they worked out a payment arrangement that worked best for me and always checked in each month before billing my credit card.  I thought that was exceptional.   I am not interested in going anywhere else.  I am a client for life!  Thanks again Nammy and staff for all you do!  See you soon!

Dr. Patel was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I wanted to get my mercury amalgam filling removed. I searched on Yelp and found this place. Green Dentistry is one of the few dental practices in SF which are well equipped for mercury amalgam filling removal.   My visit turned out to be an excellent experience throughout the whole process. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful. Dr. Patel is detail-oriented and she will explain all the details of the process if you want to know. The removal process only took about half an hour and it was super smooth. After examing my teeth and gum, Dr. Patel also suggested that I have a deep cleaning. So I had a deep cleaning afterward. They combined typical cleaning tools and a laser for the deep cleaning. I felt my bad breath is gone after the deep cleaning. I highly recommend Dr. Patel for her great work and big smiles.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Patel for the past decade or so and whenever I visit, I feel like I’m going to visit a friend, not dragging myself to the dentist.  Dr. P. has raised the bar for dentists.   Her office is comforting and spa like, with soft lighting, tranquil music and friendly staff.  I’m always greeted with a glass of water (in an actual glass) and a warm neck wrap.  Patients are welcome to come early or stay late and lie on the massage bed.  Treatments include aromatherapy and noise canceling headphones.   One of Dr. Patel’s best qualities is how she treats her patients.  She takes the time to explain everything that is happening and is never condescending.  She is happy to provide options, work with your insurance and make treatments work for your schedule and budget.  If something becomes particularly uncomfortable, in addition to adjusting anesthetics, she or her team members will even hold your hand.  I always feel like she’s on my side, has my best interests in mind and wants me to feel good about whatever decisions we make about my teeth. Finally, Dr. Patel’s commitment to the environment sets an example to the rest of the medical industry.  Her office is as close to zero-waste as possible.  She sterilizes and re-uses tools, chooses cloth over paper, glass over plastic.  All records are stored electronically.  Even the free toothbrushes are made from recycled materials. I recommend SF Green Dentistry to all of my friends.  I won’t go anywhere else.

As someone who’s anxiety flares up at the dentist office from years and years of seeing traditional network dentists, going through abrasive treatments, and feeling like dentists have $$ in their eyes rather than seeing me as a person — Dr. Patel and her team are thoughtful, thorough, and patient with helping me move forward in maintaining great oral health and supporting my personal pace and financial considerations. Dr. Patel is unique in her motivation to go above and beyond the traditional treatments by bringing a holistic approach to your entire experience the moment you walk through the door. Not only are the treatments minimal and associated products (floss, polish, etc.) as green/clean as they can be, but the aromatherapy, warm neck wraps, teas, and overall kindness are complete game changers to the traditionally not-so-pleasant dental experience. Reasoning, context, and trajectory of treatment recommendations are clear. Any time I feel anxiety, pushing towards treatments, or frustration about costs, they are met and accepted with empathy. To be clear, I once had a panic attack in the chair mid-cleaning and they gave me space until I felt better and I felt no judgement from them. To call it a pleasant surprise would be an understatement. Coming from a health insurance background, I’ve also found that working with their office billing team has been easy and trustworthy. If I reach out with questions or need a follow up before making a decision, they’re quick to supply information and available to clarify any confusion or pushback I may have. I still have a hard time with dental procedures, but it’s been a world of a difference going to Green Dentistry. It hasn’t always been easy or completely painless (I mean it’s dental work and numbing/local anesthesia only go so far), but I’m really happy with how far my oral health and aesthetic have come.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Patel for three-ish Years now after a recommendation. Her and her staff are always accommodating whether it’s my train running late for the appointment or having insurance questions (My companies have changed insurance too many times to count). I know that she has my best interest always in the forefront but she also understands cost restraints so it’s always a conversation and not pressured. Everyone is nice here and it’s a great location if you work in FiDi 😀 Right now I’m finishing up my Invisalign that I’ve been putting off for a decade. Dr Patel was great and understood the need to get prices from other places and didn’t take offense. Her pricing is fair for the area for the type of service I needed to correct my bite, not really a cosmetic change which is simpler. So I’m pretty happy, sometimes things cost more than I’d like or insurance is weird, but they’ve always been understanding with those issues and help create solutions with me.

I’ve been going to Green Dentistry ever since I moved to SF (3.5 years) and love it! Dr. Patel and her staff really take care of you when you go. They make you feel super comfortable by giving you warm neck wraps, chapstick and really nice coco floss. The location is also very central (right in the middle of union square). I made the mistake of finding a local dentist when I moved slightly outside of SF proper and regretted it immediately. I came back to Dr. Patel not for the awesome treats mentioned (although that was nice too) but for the confidence she has in her work. I feel totally comfortable having her handle my teeth and highly recommend her. I do want to emphasize her team’s work as well. I worked with Lauren at the front desk who had to make a handful of calls to confirm my insurance when my employer changed it AND they got me in for an early morning visit before work 🙂

I had been looking for a good dentist in San Francisco for some time, and finally found this great one! My friend and her son had been coming to see Dr. Patel and recommended her to me when my old dentist became intolerable.   There are so many good things about coming to her Green Dentistry I don’t know where to start and I’m sure I’ll leave something out, but here goes. First, the important stuff. I get real quality treatment at the office, everything is explained to me very well in a very personable manor, I never feel like I’m a number or a customer here, I feel more I am working with the dental professionals to accomplish my own dental health, together, and that they care. I’ve had a few tricky procedures done here (pre existing conditions from before I started coming here) and they’ve all gone well. Additionally, it’s great to be part of the future solution of responsible dental practice. The office operates  above the requirements for sustainability, disposing of mercury and silver fillings they can take out of your teeth to replace with non-toxic materials. And for anyone who may have the jitters about coming to see a dentist, they have a massage bed for you to relax in if yo’ure early, or to chill out in after your appointment, and all sorts of pleasant surprises like paraffin for your hands and movies to watch in VR glasses if you need to get a lot of work done and want to “check out” – but these bonuses are really secondary to the great service you get with Dr. Patel’s practice.

Green Dentistry is a dental utopia. Dr. Patel has created a spa-like environment complete with warm neck presses, smoothies, soft lighting, feng shui, and an extremely caring and attentive staff who treat their patients to a 5 Star spa-like experience. In terms of the quality of the services, this practice is second to none. Dr. Patel is a nationally recognized author on dentistry and wellness. She is highly charismatic and extremely attentive to every detail of her practice and her treatment. Her dental hygienist, Damaris, is also extremely attentive to every detail and extremely friendly. I never thought I’d say this but I always look forward to visiting Dr. Patel and her wonderful staff!

During this Covid collapse, it’s very important to be conscious about everything you do and everywhere you go. Green Dentistry is an amazing example of how businesses can safely operate during these unstable times. I have been their client for the last 5 months, so I’ve loved them even before the lockdown. Today I had an emergency appointment because I had to get a check up after getting my Invisalign and Green Dentistry’s professionalism and care was absolutely outstanding. The appointment started out as taking all of the necessary precautions: hand sanitizer the moment I walked in, temperature measurement, alcohol spraying and they even disinfected my phone! Several times they asked about how necessary is it to have this appointment and how likely was I to have been exposed to someone with Covid. This shows how concerned they are about the patients and how seriously they are taking all of the measures. Dr. Patel has been very compassionate and her procedures are always executed with care. If you have ever been afraid of going to the Dentists office-you will get rid of that fear once and for all. I am so grateful to have found Green Dentistry (even though the initial reason I went there was because it was close to my home) but I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoy coming there every time. Did I mention that they give out goody bags??? Every time I come there, I get something neat (before Covid they would actually put you on a massage bed to rest and make you a protein smoothie, can you imagine that in a dentists office???). This time, Dr. Patel was kind to give me an eco bag with eco goodies for the teeth (the coco floss is absolutely amazing)

The team at Green Dentistry (Dr. Patel, Cristine and Natalie) held my hand through the process, were completely supportive and understanding of my financial situation and came up with a payment plan that was completely manageable. I can’t rave about Green Dentistry enough, it is why I still happily make the trek into SF for my appointments  even though I live over an hour away in Santa Rosa (Sonoma County).

Everyone in the office is a gem and they truly offer a holistic experience from start to finish. Being a holistic practitioner myself, I see all the details and appreciate the lengths they go to to ensure my highest and best health. Dr. Patel is incredibly passionate, present, energetic and brilliant~ I couldn’t recommend this office enough!

I’ve tried many different dentists and Dr. Patel has consistently provided the best treatment and service. I have issues with periodontal disease and have felt a lot of judgement from other dentists, but Dr. Patel never makes me feel bad. She is kind but firm in her treatment and recommendations, and genuinely cares about helping me get my teeth and gums to a much healthier state. Dr. Patel did a deep cleaning with laser on me recently and it was the best teeth cleaning I’ve ever received. I always feel so taken care of and soothed when I visit Green Dentistry. Highly recommended, especially for anyone who has a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist!

My Grandfather was a dentist and my Dad was in the dental industry. And as a “Certified Green Consultant,” I know the importance of lessening patient anxiety and how to make a dental office “green” & not “green-washed.” Dr. Patel’s use of innovative in-office / same appointment “Cerec” (crown maker) technology, state of the art digital radiology (x-rays), movie goggles and music headphones, are BRILLIANT! Dr. Patel’s Eco-dentistry office offers a much needed automatic relaxing massage bed, sage scented heating pads, paper-less records keeping and she continually updates dental technology. Green Dentistry’s eco-designed office is also a refreshing change from sterile uncomfortable dental environments. The soothing energy efficient lighting, repurposed flooring, properly sized dental “chairs,” purified (not filtered) water and perfect cooling/heating air system.And if you’re lucky you may get to sample an Indian delicacy that her Mom may have prepared on that day! I’ve been to numerous dental offices looking for a family friendly, patient centered, not insurance centered mileu that puts all of its efforts into staying on the cutting edge of technology (giving the patient the utmost comfort) and is not an assembly line of dollar signs. In the 30 years I’ve been seeking the best dental care: Dr. Patel’s Green Dentistry is the most supreme in the Bay Area to date!

Dr. Patel and her staff are outstanding.  The thorough intake conversation and tour of the totally green dentistry they provide was impressive and extremely important in making my decision in a dentist.  The cleaning and exam were the most thorough that I have ever experienced in San Francisco.  After 4 failed attempts in finding a dentist worth thier credential in this city, after almost 2 years, I was relieved to have finally connected with Dr. Patel and her experienced and professional staff. Digital x-rays (no radiation) and the mindful low-waste environment were two critical factors in my decision – topped only by the professional and competently educated staff Dr. Patel has hired. I found out about Green Dentistry through the Green Zebra savings guide to Green Businesses here in SF and the Bay area.    Kudos to Dr. Patel and her staff I am so very happy to not have to keep looking for the right fit for a competent dentist and staff.

Dr. Patel is the best! She and Melanie have awesome customer service, in addition to being Green and LEED-Certified. Dr. Patel always makes sure you feel comfortable from every step of the process, from getting your personal health data, to giving you a tour of her facilities, and, of course, during the cleaning or dental services you’re there for. I initially went there for my bi-yearly cleaning, but it turns out I had a cavity!  So I returned the very next week and got a custom tooth made with the Wizard of Oz techno-gazetry.  It’s amazing to see your own ceramic tooth made right before your eyes. And Dr. Patel always explains what’s going on, and has high resolution digital photos of all your teeth.  She shows you what’s going on in real time because of a TV screen that you can watch overhead, or watch TV or movies while she does her work. I’d guess that she does charge more than the average dentist, but SHE’s definitely NOT AN AVERAGE dentist.  She’s a leader in the Green and Sustainable field, so costs tend to be higher when you have such high quality standards.  The equipment she uses tends to be more top-notch than your average dentist’s, with a philosophy of being towards producing less waste and properly recycling or disposing of whatever waste is produced. I’d say she’s worth every penny.  Tell your friends and family about her! Oh, yeah.  She recently moved.  Her new address is 360 Post St. in Union Square, next to the Tiffany’s.

Recommended by my boyfriend. Went in with him for his appointment just to talk about their services & payments. INITIAL WALK IN: greeted with smiles and handshakes from both Dr. Patel & her assistant. Offered water and a neck warmer. SURE! Beautiful modern office. Nice floors, & furniture. You can tell they take pride in their office. CONSULTATION: Hadn’t been to the dentist in 2 years. Dr. Patel sat with me, broke down pricing, offered me 2-3 month payments for a general clean & x-rays. GREAT! They had time to fit me in right away. Made my first payment, and got seated in a room…. SERVICE: Sat in a room with a large window and beautiful view of the financial district. Jackie prepped me for Dr. Patel. Jackie was very friendly, and knowledgeable. Took pictures of my teeth. Got to see them up close and personal. Dr. Patel came and pointed any areas that needed some TLC. When finished, sat in a room with a massage bed, with headphones and relaxation music while I waited for my bf to finish..

I feel I’ve been looking for Dr Patel forever. It is tough to find a good holistic doctor. Even harder to find a holistic dentist. Dr Patel has the best bedside manner, the newest technology to help run her practice, she has a holistic approach to treating her patients and (if you’re geeky like me) she can go deep into why things happen and how we can reverse some of the damages that we might’ve thought was impossible to reverse. I am definitely coming back to see her and would highly recommend her.

This review is long overdue! I have been a patient at Green Dentistry for over 10 years now and I have referred countless friends and loved ones to Dr. Patel and her amazing team. Every time I am in the office, I am treated with the kindness and patience you’d expect from family. Last time in particular, I had gone in for a routine cleaning. This cleaning happened to follow a recent car accident. While Dr. Patel was examining my bite, she noticed a cracked crown and stated, “This looks like it could pop right off,” and low and behold it literally did. A wave of initial panic spread over my face and then I started laughing because what better place to have this happen? Then the real fear hit me: I am an educator who recently went down to part time work so I can reach some personal goals, leaving my finances limited to none, and of course insurance wouldn’t cover this. Furthermore, in anticipation of going to part time work I consolidated all my debt, which meant I did not qualify for Care Credit. The team at Green Dentistry (Dr. Patel, Cristine and Natalie) held my hand through the process, were completely supportive and understanding of my financial situation and came up with a payment plan that was completely manageable. I can’t rave about Green Dentistry enough, it is why I still happily make the trek into SF for my appointments even though I live over an hour away in Santa Rosa (Sonoma County)

Dr. Patel was recommended by a coworker about three years ago and I’ve been a regular patient ever since. It’s incredibly strange to read people indicate that services were ‘pushed’ onto them as I’ve never felt that way. She has been incredibly pleasant and professional in all of our interactions and has been, in my estimation, helpful in diagnosis and treatment. When I first went in I had not seen a dentist in, at least, four years and only ended up finally making an appointment because I had broken a tooth. She did recommend a deep cleaning which makes sense for someone who had not had any dental care in that many years and I was able to get my tooth fixed quickly and easily. She indicated that the most likely reason for that break was because my jaw was not aligned correctly. I had already had other dentists recommend braces but cited that it was for cosmetic reasons so I never went with it. I have also suffered from TMJ for almost 20 years and was told by other dentists that there wasn’t much to be done outside of getting a night guard. Dr Patel FIXED my TMJ and not only are my teeth and gums healthier than they’ve ever been, I can open my mouth without it clicking and popping (anyone with TMJ will know this is not only annoying it can actually be painful). How many other dentists have I gone to that have offered no solution for that issue? 4. Seven months after beginning my bite correction with Dr Patel and I don’t have TMJ. I’m happy to put my oral health in the hands of someone that can do something like that. Overall, I have been happy with the service I’ve received at Green Dentistry and, bluntly, these negative reviews sound insane when I consider how my own experience has been. I’d advise anyone that actually cares about their oral health to make an appointment.

Green Dentistry was the first eco friendly dentist office established in my hometown of San Francisco, CA. That conscious choice inspired me to come here to continue my self care since 2009. At the same time, my dear father died unexpectedly and my teeth was grinding badly due to grief. Dr.Patel truly supported me through that process in nurturing my teeth. As a Yogini practitioner, I understand that our mouth is a significant, key aspect of understanding our healthcare. The atmosphere in Dr.Patel’s office is always a sweet divine delight to come to especially when she incorporates flavors of her Indian culture. We both started our businesses around the same time. Best. Dentist. EVER I’ve had really terrible dental experiences over the years — a poorly done root canal that resulted in infection, ill-fitting crowns, unnecessary treatments to drain my insurance — I figured all dentists were scammers and hacks. A few years ago, I found my way to Dr. Patel at Green Dentistry and I’ve never been happier! Not only is Dr. Patel a gentle and efficient dentist, she also extends warmth and personal attention to each patient. She helps to craft treatment plans that are considerate of the time and cost needed to resolve my dental issues. The hygienists ask thoughtful questions, explain the reasons for their procedures, and offer suggestions on how to improve my dental health. Scheduling and billing are a breeze and include email and text reminders. All this, plus awesome city views, high-tech/earth-friendly equipment, aromatherapy and warm neck pillows? Yes, please! Thank you, Dr. Patel and your stellar staff at Green Dentistry, for restoring my faith in the dental community!

Dr. Patel and her team made me so comfortable on my first visit today! Due to being in school full time with no time to visit the dentist, it’s obvious my mouth needed some TLC. Never once did I feel judged with the amount of work I need done – and the entire process was pretty much pain free! I am pretty sad to be finding this office right before I move out of the Bay Area, but am so happy I had a chance to meet all of these lovely ladies. I can’t recommend this place enough – thank you for getting me back on track!

So how many times can someone review her dentist? Apparently, a lot. I’ve gone to Dr. Patel for years now and always had a great experience, but my most recent visit topped them all. I was in between jobs when I received an appointment reminder, and replied letting them know that I’d have to cancel because I wasn’t covered. Nelly emailed back saying that Dr. Patel would do a cleaning and check-up at no charge, because they truly cared about my dental health. I think the last time an email from a doctor/dentist’s office nearly made me cry was in college, when my information got mixed with another patient’s and I thought I had cancer. But I digress. Nelly was sweet enough to provide additional times I could come into the office, so I went in the next day. Dr. Patel and her staff were attentive, efficient and thorough from start to finish–just like all my other visits. I had a sweet chat with Dr. Patel at the end and truly felt like she cared for me–not just as a patient but as a person as well. To Dr. Patel & the staff at Green Dentistry–keep it up, and I hope to see you soon.

I was referred to Green Dentistry by a coworker almost 4 years ago. They are so easy to work with and everyone at the office is friendly. They work hard to make the office a comfortable place and it is almost spa-like. When routine teeth cleaning appointments come up they are always able to accommodate my work schedule. In addition, Green Dentistry and Dr. Patel really took care of me when I was in need. I lost two teeth from a car accident last year and they worked to get me back to normal. They are very caring and detail oriented and made sure that I was happy with the final result. I would highly recommend Green Dentistry!
