A good dentist is hard to find!  Luckily, Dr. Nisha Krishnaiah at Aesthetic Dentistry of Noe Valley was my dentist for many years while I lived in San Francisco.  I had several fillings, cleanings, and Invisalign treatment under Dr. Krishnaiah.  She did a fantastic job – I love my straight teeth!  I get lots of compliments on my smile now and I have to thank Dr. Krishnaiah.  She treats her patients like family and is sooo accommodating.  Sadly, I had to move to the East Coast just over a year ago and I had a hard time finding a dentist that could compare to Dr. Krishnaiah.  Such a hard time that I ended up flying back to San Francisco to see Dr. Krishnaiah for my follow-up Invisalign treatments.  Since I could only get back on the weekend, Dr. Krishnaiah agreed to come into the office on her day off to see me!  I can’t think of any other dentist who would even consider doing such a thing.  She is truly a wonderful dentist – my teeth can attest to that!  If only she’d move to the East Coast!!

This is where to go when you want the best. Cosmetic dentistry is daunting. For a lot of people, including myself, it’s about how much you need to pay to get the results you want. The challenge with choosing a new dental practice is that it’s hard to tell if you’re going to get what you want without getting ripped off. My review of Aesthetic Dentistry of Noe Valley is based on my own experience getting a crown for an implant on my front incisor–the one on the top, in the very front, that everyone sees every time I open my mouth. I did a lot of research, and sought the recommendations of a few dentists and friends that I trust, and I ended up here. After a thorough and honest discussion with Dr. Krishnaiah, I entrusted this very challenging work to her and her staff. The result is exactly what I wanted. Period. Most days, I don’t think about the fact that I have a fake tooth in the front of my mouth. Sometimes, I even forget which of the two front teeth it is. Nobody has a clue unless I tell them. It’s that good. The point is that you can trust Dr. Krishnaiah, her staff, and their business partners to get the job done right, however complex and challenging a procedure it is. They will work tirelessly to make sure that the quality of work is up to Dr. Krishnaiah’s standards, which in my case, were even higher than mine. You want someone who knows what they’re doing looking out for your best interests. That’s what I found here. Yes, you can get work done cheaper. And the result will be cheaper work. It reminds me of a quote by John Ruskin: “There is hardly anything in the world that some man cannot make a little worse and sell for a little less, and those who consider price alone are that man’s lawful prey.” Ultimately, only you can decide whether something is worth it. But if you value quality, and you want your work done right, by people with the highest standards, I strongly recommend Aesthetic Dentistry of Noe Valley.

I used to be very phobic about Dentists and all those dental procedures!! Thanks to Nisha and the rest of the guys here I don’t spend 2 or 3 days worrying about going in to the dentist anymore. I moved over to SF from Englad where it is well nigh impossible to get to see a Dentist if you live in the wrong area or earn below a certain amount, therefore my poor smile had been a bit neglected for a few years! In my first year with these guys I had to have about 5 fillings which wasn’t much fun but thanks to everyone being so friendly, chatty and efficient I have got my fear much more under control! They are great – fun to talk to, quick, thoughtful, understanding and I didn’t feel at all rushed when I got all flustered and upset during a particularly tricky filling! When my impacted wisdom tooth flared up and kept me up all night, they saw me imnmediately the next day, prescribed painkillers, antibiotics and gave me the details of a very good (though expensive) facial surgeon to have offending tooth dug out! The front desk staff were great at explaining to the confused and probably slightly dim english woman the finer points (and to be honest some of the more painfully obvious points) of the American Helathcare system and what I needed to do to find out what etc! Invaluable as I was getting very confused! Plus they are in my neighbourhood, their approach feels neighbourhoody and it feels so good to be able to walk to your dentist or bump into them doing some shopping or getting their lunch on our high street.

I went into Dr. Krishnaiah’s office for a cleaning and was extremely impressed with her staff and the quality of work they perform.  Her administrator Toni is so helpful and friendly and immediately handed me my new patient forms upon arrival.  Within minutes they took me back and Alexandra began to go over any medical concerns I had or special treatments I may require during the cleaning.  Personally, it has been hard to find a dentist that is gentle enough with my jaw since I have lock jaw and its been dislocated before.  She told me not to open my mouth too wide and was very careful while cleaning my teeth to avoid any discomfort.  My previous dentist advised me that my gums were receding and that I’d need a gum graft to fix the issue as soon as possible.  Anxious that Alexandra would tell me the same thing I came to find that only two my teeth showed serious recession and that a graft was not immediately necessary.  The cleaning was quick and painless! The office is welcoming, the staff is exceptional, and I left feeling very impressed with my experience.  They are also great with kids!

This is by far the best dental practice I have ever been to! I started treatment with Nisha 2 1/2 years ago and went in with some serious issues.  My teeth were in pretty bad shape as a result of all my old fillings falling apart and not taking care of my teeth as good as I should have. I had some major restoration done to get everything fixed. Yesterday I returned for a checkup and it turns out I had only one minor cavity.  Everything else was in good shape as a result of the the amazing work Nisha had done in the past. Nisha will explain everything to you in depth and let you know all your options for anything that needs to be done.  My experience was completely painless and everyone at this practice is really nice and comforting.  I would highly recommend them and woulnd’t think of ever going anywhere else!

I recently moved to San Francisco and had to get some work done on my teeth.  I didn’t know who to see or where to begin so I did some research on my own. After looking online and speaking to a couple friends, I made a few appointments at some offices.  I must have visited 3 dentists before I finally felt comfortable with Aesthetic Dentistry of Noe Valley.  Nisha and her staff made me feel welcomed from the moment I stepped into the office. They are professional, friendly, patient, and good-humored.  It fit well with my personality since I like to ask a lot of questions.  I felt like I knew them for years. During my appointment, I had a couple procedures that needed to be done and Nisha was very clear about my options.  She is a great communicator and I never felt confused about what was being done to my teeth.  Before I knew it, Nisha finished working on my teeth and I never felt a thing.  I couldn’t stop showing off my smile after leaving the office and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a dentist or to anyone that already has one.  Nisha is that good.

When i started seeing Nisha i hadn’t had dental coverage for about 7-8 years. my teeth were in good shape and she was really nice about my lack of dental care for such a long period. my partner and i have recommended numerous friends to AD of NV and they have all had really good experiences there as well and remain loyal patients. i’m in a thrash-metal band and got smacked in the mouth with the mic a few times over the summer. i recently went to see Nisha for a cleaning and told her one of my lower front teeth had become sensitive to cold. after she inspected it, she asked did you get hit in the mouth? uh, yeah was my answer and i explained to her what had happened. she suggested i start invisaline (i also have a gap in my lower teeth), to reset the tooth to the bone. she also went above and beyond by suggesting to make me a mouth guard that sits over my teeth to use when i’m performing in order to prevent further injury. AD of NV makes going to the dentist less stressful than most.

I am VERY picky when it comes to finding a good dentist. Especially since I’ve had several bad ones in the past. However, I FINALLY found a great dentist!  I have been going to Aesthetic Dentistry of Noe Valley for a few years now and I would highly recommend Dr. Nisha Krishnaiah. At first, I was very nervous to go to a new dentist.  She is not only professional but also very friendly and easy to talk to.  She explains everything, is extremely thorough and answers my questions and most of all she makes me feel so relaxed! I have had cleanings, fillings, and teeth whitening and have been pleased with the results of all of these procedures.  The office is  very clean, they have streaming i-tunes and it is well equipped with the latest high tech gadgets that most offices do not invest in.  I feel that I’m getting excellent advice about my dental care.  I actually look forward to my dental appointments.

I have been going to Aesthetic Dentistry of Noe Valley for 4 years now.  I’ve had basic dental work and cleanings until more recently. In my case, lots of digital phots were taken to show me the amount of tooth that I had lost as a result of grinding and then Dr. Krishnaiah explained what my different treatment options were to get my smile fixed.  She explained that I had eroded so much of my teeth that now they were shorter than they should be. A very comprehensive detailed treatment plan was presented to me as well as the option to do nothing.  I decided to go through with the treatment plan after seeing what the results could be like and I was pretty impressed with all of the time taken to work up my case. I have gone through with veneers and crowns with the back and front teeth – it has changed my bite and my smile.  The treatment was expensive and time consuming but the results have been well worth it.  You have only one set of teeth and they need to last a long time.  I am very pleased with my results and would highly recommend Dr. Nisha Krishnaiah for this type of work.  The office is very clean and the support staff is also very good.

Here is my story: I began as a new patient of Dr. Nisha Krishnaiah back in 2009. Since then I have had major and incidental work done by her.  It all started with an area that just kept breaking.  I would bite on something and one of my teeth would fracture over and over again no matter what I had done to it and when I had it fixed. After a few attempts, we proceeded to do a bite work up.  She explained to me that some people need to have their bite engineered.  I had never been told this but after listening to what they recommended and doing some research, it made sense to me.  We redesigned my bite.  After several appointments, adding some filling material in some areas and smoothing up some areas that were hitting too hard, we adjusted the bite so it fit differently.  At first, it felt weird, but after a couple of weeks, I was getting used to it.  I was told that this is fixing the problem and not the symptom of my tooth breaking all the time.  I did like that she was taking a holistic view on all of this.  Otherwise I guess I would have spent a lifetime, breaking my teeth and getting it fixed over and over again.  It was nice to have someone recognize this being the problem and explaining it.  Since then, I have had a pretty routine care with having to just go in for cleanings and exams.  I am grateful for this practice going above and beyond just routine dental treatments to a more comprehensive/holistic approach.  I guess I just got lucky when I landed in this office because you just done know as a consumer what to consider when choosing someone as your dentist.  I would recommend anyone to this place.  They are wonderful.

Not to sound overly dramatic, but I feel like Dr. Nisha and her team saved my life!  Six months ago my top front tooth cracked on a piece of granola, I spent 4 months walking around with this compromised tooth getting worse and worse until it literally basically broke off on a piece of cheese (ridiculous I know).  The thing that happened was when my tooth cracked initially I stopped smiling and looking in the mirror.  This doesn’t sound like such a big deal, but it sure was .  My self esteem, morale, socialization and future forecast hit the floor hard. I went in to see Dr. Nisha based on an associates recommendation.  I really felt like my quality of life was DONE and I was very self conscious of my appearance.  Everyone from the front desk to the dental assistant to the hygienist to Dr. Nisha herself were non-judgmental, friendly and “can do.”  My dread dissipated and I got on board with my own plan to fix a bad situation.  They had everything to do with my shift in perspective. It took about 6 weeks, start to finish.  My top 4 front teeth now are comfortable and look amazing.  I recommend anyone who struggles with  tooth issues and their appearance to consider veneers and Aesthetic Dentistry of Noe Valley… My smile is back and my enthusiastic momentum as well.

Dr. Krishnaia and her staff are always warm, welcoming and, most importantly, very competent. They’re committed to delivering the highest level of care and have gone the extra distance to make sure I’m comfortable and informed every step of the way. Best of all, if you need a crown, they have technology that allows them to clean out the problem area and place the new permanent crown in your mouth on the same day! No impressions needed, no waiting 2 weeks with a temporary crown in your mouth (those temps are so uncomfortable and bothersome to me) while a lab makes your permanent crown. Your new crown, made out of porcelain, is fashioned by high tech machinery while you wait. And it works! I just had it done. Cavity excavated and capped with a crown all in one appointment! I highly recommend this dental office for your basic dental health needs.

I, like most, have never enjoyed the visit to the dentist. But this place is by far the best dental office I have ever been to. The staff are the greatest. They  very friendly, extremely good at making sure you’re comfortable, good prices, quick to get you in for tooth pain, and very professional on their dental procedures. First I talked to Tonie on the phone for an appointment and I was blown away. She was so nice to hooked me up with an appointment that suites me. I was so impressed when they sent me a reminder.  For a forgetful guy like me I cannot ask for more.  I never had to wait more than a minute for the appointment to start. The procedure was painless, done with so much care the I sometimes was dozing off. Dr. Nisha  is the best. She is so kind, easy to talk to, very precise and very professional. She explains everything she’s doing and what to expect, which is perfect for a scary cat like me. I will never go anywhere else for as long as I live in the Bay Area. Highly recommend this place!

I visited this office for a cosmetic procedure; not a bad choice since “aesthetic” is in their name.  Dr. Krishaiah and here staff are especially interested in their patient’s appearance in addition to providing a comfortable office, convenient scheduling (many procedures are completed in one day) and access to new technology (they have a dental CAD/CAM machine on-site). I was interested in a tooth whitening procedure (don’t we all like coffee and red wine a bit too much)  and wanted to learn about the procedure.  The front office staff described the general procedure (a one day appointment with some at-home follow-up).  Dr. Krishnaiah also answered a few more specifics (the name of the particular process that they use, etc.).  I scheduled a 2.5 hour session. On the day of the procedure, I was greeted by Dr. Krishnaiah’s assistant (who performs the procedure).  She explained some more details and also that I should expect some discomfort.  It’s good to be mentally prepared when getting ready for a lengthy session; the benefit of getting results in one day is easy to weigh against the short term discomfort. I explained a bit about what kind of results I wanted and she explained that the procedure is somewhat unpredictable, but was able to work with me to be either a bit more conservative or not depending if I preferred to possibly err on the side of under or over whitening.  It was nice to have established this understanding.  The trained assistant had a good number of years of experience and was able to answer the majority of my questions. The procedure went pretty much as described. It is a bit tiring to do all at once, but is worth it for the convenience.  Aside from answers to a few question, Dr. Krishnaiah is not herself involved in the tooth whitening procedure, but she was in the office in case her attention was needed. I left the office with a feeling that I knew what to expect (some short term sensitivity … in my case, less than 24 hours).  I returned only to pick up supplies (sometimes this can be done without a return visit), so it was quite convenient.  I did have a question that came up later and was able to receive an answer quickly. A good experience.

Before my first visit to Aesthetic Dentistry a few months ago, I hadn’t seen a dentist in…a long time.  First it was a lack of insurance, then general inertia, then bona fide aversion. Thankfully, there wasn’t so much as a whiff of judgement when I finally got myself into Dr. Krishnaiah’s chair.  She and the staff took care to make sure I was comfortable, explaining each procedure and how the (to my eye, very up-to-date) equipment worked.  I really appreciated her warmth and thoroughness. Since that first visit, I’ve had routine cleanings, a few fillings, and just recently I had a crown put on.  Each visit has been gentle and pleasant, from the professional reception to the exams themselves.  I’m very impressed with the level of care I’ve received and highly recommend.

I have some anxiety about seeing the dentist. I have had a few experiences that were not so great let’s just say. I had just moved to SF and was in need of a dentist for routine care. I landed in Dr. Krishnaiah’s office. I could tell pretty much right away that everyone that works there is pretty kind, straightforward and concerned about your oral health. I do feel like I am getting honest advice without the upselling. The recommendations were not out of wack, as I was expecting that I needed some work. I felt comfortable enough to schedule my follow up appointments. The fillings I had done seemed to go pretty smoothly. I guess any relationship is typically dependent on trust. I trust this office and that is a lot to say for someone like me who does not necessarily enjoy being in a dental office. Just my two cents  I definitely recommend you check this place out and see for yourself.

Aesthetic Dentistry of Noe Valley is an excellent dental office to visit.  I have done bleaching, cleaning, cavities filling and veneers here and never for once I had any negative experience.  I love the entire staff there.  The office was clean and the staff –receptionist, hygienist, Dr Nisha and her assistant were all friendly and efficient.  Dr Nisha took her time to educate and explain everything to me to make sure I understand thoroughly my teeth condition and the treatment process. I always felt bad about my teeth and  I thought that all of my teeth had problem.  But after Dr Nisha examined the X-ray, she showed me that I only had two cavities.  She took her time to clean my teeth and clean out the cavities and the process was pain-free.     After I checked my teeth, I could see a HUGE difference. I also have two broken front teeth and Dr Nisha recommended me to get porcelain veneers.  She was very skillful and paid attention to every single detail to make sure everything was perfect.  I could say that she is a perfectionist which was excellent.  She worked with the lab to make sure that the color of my veneers matched my surrounding teeth perfectly.  My veneers looked so natural that people couldn’t tell that I had veneer at all.  The shape and the color was perfect.  Now I can have a great and confident smile again. Before finding Dr Nisha, I always had bad experiences with my old dentists because they always rushed through everything.  I felt like dentistry doesn’t not belong to healthcare sector but it is a money generating business.  But Aesthetic Dentistry of Noe Valley proved it different.  I highly recommend this place.

Short Version of this Long Review: Dr. Nisha Krishnaiah is a beyond fabulous dentist. I’d give her 10 stars if I could. She and the team treated me like family and were very sensitive to my dental fears. Their follow up was impeccable and attention to detail when creating my plan exceeded my expectations. Dr. Nisha Krishnaiah was my 5th opinion for a lot of work needed and the choice was an instant no brainer. The Dentist: She is someone who is truly passionate about her job and teeth. Unlike most dentists I’ve been to, Dr. Krishnaiah looks to discover WHY you have cavities, etc. and talks through your diet, habits, etc. I have lost 10 lbs by cutting out things that were (to my surprise) horrible for my teeth and I feel empowered finally knowing WHY these things happened to me and not leaving with the usual dental advice of “bad genes” or “floss more”. She is not afraid to be honest about what she feels you need now and what can be revisited in a year or two – which I think anyone can appreciate. She really goes the extra mile in everything and has detailed explanations for her opinions. The Plan: What truly impressed me is the level of customer service and quality of the dental work. My teeth look incredible and I was looped in every step of the way with a custom built plan which itemized every cost and grouped them into visits. Dr. Krishnaiah even called me to talk through some of the planning while she did it. I loved how included I was because this was going be expensive (and a little scary) for me. I wanted to be sure I was getting a conservative, yet appropriate approach. Her Endodontist referrals for a root canal needed were equally wonderful (and pain free). The Work: Let me tell you – she gives great needle! I never felt an ounce of pain throughout my 5 or 6 visits – during or after. I am the world’s biggest wimp when it comes to needles/doctors and even explored anesthesia to be put out for everything – SO not necessary. She works efficiently and before I knew it I was in and out each visit – she has really helped me go a long way with my dental fears. The Rest: The office is VERY clean, in a beautiful building and in a great location (shopping downtown Noe Valley). Adriana at the front desk is just a doll and and has fabulous follow up/customer service skills. The Hygienist I primarily had, Sasha – equally wonderful and helpful. I love that they will provide you with music to listen to and non-dentist related items to look at while you’re in the chair. Conclusion: All and all, I saved a lot of money going with Aesthetic Dentistry (vs. other opinions I received that I felt were far too aggressive/sloppy), had perfect follow up, received a beautiful plan that took a conservative and preventative approach that left me feeling beautiful, stress-free and excited/empowered about the future health of my teeth. I’m not sure I can ever go anywhere else again!! Dr. Nisha Krishnaiah and STAFF is a real find!.

I’ve used Aesthetic Dentistry for teeth cleanings, fillings, and veneers. In each case it was a positive experience; scheduling is simple, everyone is extremely courteous and helpful, and I’m really happy with the results. Dr Nisha talked with me to come up with a plan for what dental work to get done that was the right compromise between time/cost/ aesthetics for me. I really appreciate her taking the time to explain my options to me, and listen to my feedback. I highly recommend checking them out. I wish I’d started going to them years earlier.

I can’t say enough good things about this place!  I had six veneers put in and couldn’t be happier.  I did a ton of research on where I was going to get my veneers done (given it’s such a time consuming and large monetary investment)…and I am so glad I decided to get them done at Aesthetic Dentistry of Noe Valley. Coming into the dentist definitely isn’t my favorite (especially for such a meticulous procedure) but the entire staff was incredibly thorough and made me feel super comfortable from day one.  After all is said and done…I couldn’t be happier with the results!  My smile looks incredible and I have been getting non stop compliments. Best investment I’ve ever made.  On my last day I actually felt a little sad the process was over…Dr. Nisha, Denise and everyone involved do such a great job of making you feel like family! Again; can’t say enough good things about this place and especially if you’re looking to get veneers make sure you look at this place first.

★★★★★

I have been a patient of Aesthetic Dentistry of Noe Valley for about 3 years.   I’ve had 8 veneers done with some invisalign braces to straighten my teeth before the veneers.  The reason I picked Dr. Krishnaiah after talking to a few other dentists is because the amount of time she spent with me discussing the pros and cons of the options I needed to think about.  I could tell she was not trying to pressure me as I had experienced before and it was comforting to feel that I was getting advice that was best for me and it was ultimately my decision as to what to do.   I can’t say that the experience was pain free but I do feel it was as tolerable as it gets and the results are very satisfying to me.  My teeth look absolutely gorgeous and they do not look fake.  This office uses the best lab guys to make your veneers and Dr. Krishnaiah will show you case after case of satisfied customers.

I had worked with one of the most respected Dentists and  prestigious Dental School Professors in S.F for 35+ years. During that time he capped ALL of my teeth, bridged  the spaces, filed down teeth and crowns to make each new procedure “fit”, ETC. A  completely traditional approach. As a result my bite never fit, I had extreme and continual bacteria, and thrush,  cavities, and Root Canal procedures, and  constantly increasing  grinding and bruxing. My mouth was a terrible mess, I finally began to lose teeth and bridges, and at the age of 75 he told me that my condition was now beyond his skill level, since he was a “drill and fill” kind of dentist, and that I now required the services of a Prostadontist. He said that the cost now of the work required would be upwards of $100,000 ; he took no responsibility for having created my problem. He did thankfully  make a referral to an Implantologist and dismissed me. The Implantologist Dr. Len Tolstunov  turned out to be a very, very  beneficial referral. He told me I would have to select another Dentist,  so he could work in a team. This time I, also, got very lucky and -on the basis of a newspaper story- selected to begin seeing  Nisha  Krishnaiah. I never did need the services of a Prostadontist. They worked together closely and shared data, and consulted: The best dental model  I could have found.  Nisha  began with two “sit down” discussions with me, prepared and amended a treatment plan, and gave me a written cost analysis. She then began–not by filing teeth down, but amazingly by rebuilding my “bite wings”. My bruxing and grinding stopped-my mouth began to fit.and  grew increasingly  comfortable. Ultimately the work they did also eradicated grinding jaw pain, cavities, bacterial infections, Thrush,  the need to gargle with peroxide and Chlorhexidine, etc. My mouth is healthy. Nisha always tries hard to save teeth, pays close attention to fit and margins, builds in order to increase function, etc. She is perfectionistic, interested, caring, available, flexible, and I think brilliant. She treats my anxieties with good  humor, sensitivity, and always succoring  interaction. Most of all for me, she is  very professional, focused, and always manifests equanimity-even when I don’t. The office is staffed only with women and the difference is obvious The employees all seem very content and work well together in support of Nish’s intentions. It is a gentle and supportive environment. I have never had to wait for my appointment: I can reach her even on the weekend and she is available. I am so very grateful for the year I have spent in treatment at this facility. Her practice is x-ray and computer focused and the difference is amazing. The old traditional Dentistry is injurious, benighted, and very obsolete. I so very much recommend that you consult with Nisha. She has made such a profound difference in my life. Honestly, I can now smile and be proud of my appearance– .and  I haven’t been able to be proud of my appearance in a long, long time. Thank you Nisha !

Hello, my name is Ron Contreraz. I recently relocated to San Francisco from Colorado. I am a Colorado Native (48yrs) and this is my first time living in another state. Dealing with flights, movers, getting settled in, etc., the last thing on my mind was dentistry work. I had a severe toothache and I needed help. I googled dentists within my new vicinity and came across Aesthetic Dentistry of Noe Valley. The positive google reviews from patients and especially parents of patients is what led me there. First off, you’re greeted by an awesome support staff, who made you feel welcome, then I met the Doctor. Dr. Nisha was kind, cordial, and as a patient, she just made you feel as a “priority”. You and your dental health became a priority. First off the bat, I needed a root canal (findings were a few cavities, potential crown work, and heavy cleaning needed also), but root canal was the priority. I had the root canal performed by the referred endodontist, then went back to Aesthetic for a crown. First time ever for both procedures. While performing the crowning, Dr. Nisha observed an opportunity to perform a cavity filling based on it’s location near the tooth being crowned. An observation that saved time, and ended a lot of oral pain. I got to observe the “3D” imagery of crown being mapped/created and got to observe the machine that grinds/creates the crown based on imagery. Mind blowing, completely fascinated me! And seeing the sheer excitement on Dr. Nisha’s face while she explained the process, I knew I was dealing with a fellow human being who simply loves (and with the utmost integrity and pride) the profession she has chosen. Dr. Nisha is a total Rock Star! Things have been going great in the weeks after the crowning. Along with Dr. Nisha, we set up an action plan for the remaining work based on priority. Earlier this week, surprisingly, the crown popped off while I was chewing on a snack. In less than 24hrs of contacting them, I was seen again this morning. Dr. Nisha and Staff were very apologetic, with some head scratching concern, but once again made the repair a priority. As a paying customer/patient in regards to the crown popping off, even I knew from the get go, it wasn’t because of poor craftsmanship and/or lack of knowledge. It’s just one of those mysterious things in life that just happens. I just knew, with the care I have been provided prior, that they would take good care of me. I was excited this morning to get there!  Just like so many people, I’ve been seen by dentists since childhood. Dentists, orthodontists, etc. I’ve never liked dentists, orthodontists, and I am sure I told Dr. Nisha and the endodontist who performed the root canal that “I respect what you do, but I don’t like you” upon first meeting them while drying tears. I was scared by dentists, I feared them. For the first time in my life (48yrs young), I no longer fear or are afraid. Someone took the time to explain, to info share, to reassure, to nurture, to truly care. That someone is Dr. Nisha, the Rock Star! I can’t thank you enough, Dr. Nisha, I am truly grateful!.

New to San Francisco, I was in search of a dentist. After getting a teeth cleaning at Aesthetic Dentistry, I will look no further! In the lovely neighborhood of Noe Valley, this office was easy to find and parking was available in nearby residental streets. The new patient procedure was painless, and I only had about a 2 minute wait until I was called back : ) Always relieving.. During this time a flipped through a book of work done by Dr. Krishaiah- very impressive! Everyone in the office was friendly and easy going. Which is worth mentioning, if you’re anything like me and get a little nervous going to the dentist. Since I hadn’t been to the dentist in a while, we started with an oral exam. I was really appreciative of the continual explanation of what they would be doing, and what they were looking for. I felt a part of the process, and the dialogue put me at ease. For the first time, I was shown specifically how I should be brushing/flossing. They gave me some great tips to improve my routine. After the cleaning, Dr. Krishaiah came in, introduced herself, and did an additional exam. I felt very taken care of. We discussed what I could do to better take care of my teeth, and some recommendations for specific tooth brushes. I couldn’t get over how warm and friendly the office was. (Or how many times I heard, “you have beautiful teeth!”) I walked out a very happy patient. If you are new to the city, or are just looking to switch; I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Krishaiah’s office. I will definitely be going back!

Dr. Krishnaiah and Dr. Pham are both great dentists who dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to their profession. From what I can see, this practice does make efforts to stay up to date on their technology, equipment, and does everything above and beyond the average. These doctors seem to love what they do. I have had a lot of dental work done by both dentists and am very grateful for it – they made sure I was comfortable and pain free during the procedures, and afterwards followed up with me to make sure everything was fine (and it was). Also, unlike other dental offices I’ve been to, this office’s waiting room is very chic yet comfortable – it makes one feel relaxed and at home. Anyone who may be looking for a new dentist, this is a great practice where the entire staff has proven to be reliable, efficient and accommodating.

How do you really know your dentist is a good dentist? Besides the usual chair side manners, minimal discomfort during & after procedures, clear explanations, etc., one can’t truly say that a dentist does good work without properly evulating the work provided. Fortunately, I was (because I moved out of SF) a patient of Dr. Nisha & am able to evaluate her work because I am also a dentist . She is not your typical run of the mill dentist where you are in & out like an oil change at Jiffy Lube. Her new patient visit is comprehensive, as it should be. She takes the long view approach instead of a quick fix & usually more expensive in the long run. Although she only did some minor fillings & a crown over the span of 5 years or so, they are still looking good clinically & on x-rays 8 years later. To get results this good & last this long take skill, attention to detail and good materials. There aren’t too many dentists in SF who has the same level of extra training, attention to detail & comprehensive skill set to do what she does. Furthermore, I felt that her affable nature & no pressure to get work done approach, which was not put on display just for me because I am a colleague, made it a pleasant experience going to the dentist.

Having been a patient of Aesthetic Dentistry of Noe Valley for several years, I have nothing but positive feedback to share.  During this period of time, I have relied on Dr. Krishnaiah and her staff for routine dental care, as well as more advanced cosmetic dentistry.  Dr. Krishnaiah and her staff manage to combine the latest in advanced dentistry techniques with the warmth and personalization of a “small town” dental practice.  It’s a pleasure to visit your dentist when the staff all knows you by name and genuinely cares about your well-being.  Recently, I decided to have Dr. Krishnaiah implant a set of veneers on my top teeth.  This decision was made after several years of consultation with Dr. Krishnaiah, where she patiently described the process and the pros and cons, never forcing a decision but instead sharing balanced guidance.  The process itself went exactly as she communicated it would, and several months after the procedure I remain extremely happy with the results.   Because of the years of compassionate and highly effective dental care that I have received, I highly recommend Aesthetic Dentistry of Noe Valley.

I knew something was terribly wrong with my mouth for a long time. And one of my teeth was terribly sensitive. I could barely eat or drink and I had not been to a dentist in almost seven years due to lack of insurance. Though now I know that a cleaning and exam is not expensive at all. I called my friend on a weekend to ask her if she could recommend a dentist.. She gave me the number to Dr. Nisha Krishnaiah’s office. I called the number and left a message. Toni the Office Manager called me back on Monday and I explained my problem to her. I was very worried about what might be wrong. She answered my questions and made me feel much more comfortable about what I was experiencing. She worked it out so that I could be fit in the next day. She was extremely flexible and helpful. I went to my appointment the next day and the x-rays taken showed I had multiple cavities. One of the cavities needed to be done immediately as a crown, but I was leaving for vacation on Friday and had no time between then and Friday to make an appointment. Even though Dr. Nisha Krishnaiah was leaving the country the next morning she let me stay and did the crown that night. She explained everything that was going to happen and though I was extremely nervous I was confident that she knew exactly what she was doing.  There was no need to make the annoying follow up appointment. I was able to have the crown done all in one visit. I didn’t even need to wear a temporary. I have never had a dentist and her office be so accommodating and helpful. Everyone in her office was extremely nice and did their best to make me feel calm since I was a nervous wreck. I have spoken to multiple dentists in San Francisco about my crown that I needed to have done and for them you have to make multiple appointments to have the whole procedure done, but not with Dr. Krishnaiah. I am so glad that my friend recommended Dr. Nisha Krishnaiah to me!!

My teeth were JACKED when I first stepped into this office …. Not anymore! I absolutley love Dr. Nisha Krishniah’s work and her approach to dentistry. She really took the time to work on a treatment pla for me – I was impressed with how knowledgeable and thorough she was … taking time to answer all my questions and options for treatment. I ended up getting a lot of restorative work done (cavities filled, etc.) and veneers.  It was one of the best things I could have ever done for myself.  Needless to say, I got lucky landing Nisha as my dentist.  She made me feel like part of the treatment process and got me involved with my case … getting your teeth done can be emotional  –  But I felt 100% comfortable with this office. The support staff and her team of assistants are amazing… you guys kick ass! At any rate, my smile kicks ass too now… Seriously folks… its GORGEOUS! :D.

Love love love Aesthetic Dentistry of Noe Valley.  Love it! So my husband and I had been living over seas for a while, and it’s taken us a while (read two years) to get back into the swing of things so we’ve only barely picked out a dentist.  A friend of ours recommend this place and we’re so happy he did. Dr. Nisha Krishnaiah is really great, as is her entire team.  I’m pretty sure I’ve met everyone in the last couple of weeks. I was able to walk in as a new patient and sign up both my husband and me easily.  There’s a form available online that you can fill out so you’re all ready to go.  I was able to make appointments for us that were accommodating to our schedules, and in a reasonable amount of time.  I was actually able to get an appointment for the next day! Tonie is the front office receptionist.  Very professional but also friendly and helpful. Karen was my dental hygienist on my first visit.  She cleaned my teeth and took all my x-rays.  She was really nice and walked me through everything she was doing and was super polite considering how nasty my teeth had to be considering I hadn’t been to the dentist for soooo long. I then returned for an actual exam with Dr. Krishnaiah and her assistant Ivy.  Love them both!  During my exam it turned out i had two tiny-baby cavities one in each of my back bottom teeth, so I had to make another appointment. I’ve never had a cavity before so I was a little nervous, but everything went great. Ivy and Dr. Krishnaiah walked me through everything and it was really easy and done in less than an hour. I love the team, love the location, and honestly can’t wait to go to the dentist again. Lastly, Tonie is really great about explaining payment options and pricing for everything the office offers.  Perhaps I’ll get invisiline in the future.

After not visiting a dentist for a few years, I went to Aesthetic Dentistry of Noe Valley for a check up and cleaning.   The office is very bright and cheerful and all of the staff were very kind and professional. Alexandria, the hygienist, didn’t make me feel guilty for not flossing enough.  She explained everything she was doing and told me to raise my hand if I needed a break.  She was very gentle, the cleaning was pain free, and my gums were not sore afterward.  My teeth were cleaned with water spraying (sonic scaling) all during the procedure and she did not have to scrape as much.  My teeth felt cleaner and looked brighter than they ever have after a cleaning.  I was so impressed that I kept admiring my smile in the rear view mirror on the way home. Dr. Krishaiah checked my teeth and gave me a good report… no cavities and no work needed.  That’s what I want to hear!!   I was impressed at how conservative they are in suggesting procedures.  It’s been a long time since I have visited a dentist and not had to go back for additional work. Thanks to Aesthetic Dentistry for a very positive experience.

I have, (unfortunately), a lifetime of experiences with dentists that I can attest to, whether good, bad, indifferent and (rarely) superior. Dr. Nisha Krishnaiah definitely qualifies as the latter. I had long wanted to invest in veneers for my worn out and no longer dazzling smile.  After much investigation elsewhere I thought the price prohibitive and unreasonable, but when I found Dr. Nisha had a price that could not be matched plus a very reasonable payment plan with no added interest I was on board, now not only are my teeth white they are straight and more uniform (gum line included) than ever before. To be able to smile and laugh without self consciousness is, well (almost) priceless.  The added bonus was and is her gentle and understanding service.  You never feel rushed or condescended to, and despite what a former poster, has alluded to, I found she always put my pain management first. I could not recommend her and her office team any more highly.

I came here a couple days ago to officially get my Invisalign in. The atmosphere was great! The receptionist greeted me and not long after I sat down to fill in some paper work, my dentist told me she was ready for me. I only come here for my braces. My dentist (my second appointment, so forgot her name) went through the entire procedure with me. She made sure I knew what was going on before she did it. Very gentle and meticulous with all her work! She showed me a video of how my braces would shape my teeth and overall shape of mouth. My dentist also told me all the do’s and don’ts before I left. Dr. Krishnaiah and her team are great! The pricing is definitely affordable! For the quality of the staff and care they provide, it is definitely worth it. I would without a doubt recommend this place for Invisalign!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Krishnaiah’s for over 6 years now. I initially came in because I broke a molar and I have been coming in ever since. Dr. Krishnaiah noticed that my bite was off. I was not functioning on all of my teeth the way I should. I was underutilizing some areas and over utilizing others. Hence cracks form and something breaks. Since then I did have a bite analyses/bite work up that led to better distribution of forces on my teeth. I feel very lucky to have found this office through a referral where a holistic approach was taken to my mouth. Sometimes you do not even know what you need, until you are presented with options and educated on what is going on. The staff is excellent and Dr. Krishnaiah is detail-oriented and meticulous in her approach. I have been to a few dentists in my past but I have never had a discussion of bite forces before and what that can do to your teeth. Worth a visit if you feel your bite is not quite right.

This is my story of how I found Dr. Krishnaiah. I was stressed out and freaking out about my temporary crown that cracked and from biting too hard into a mango seed while I was at home. I refused to go back to my old dentist, who shall not be named, who did the initial crown work on me. He just lost his touch and didn’t seem to care about the quality of his work anymore.  I then went on Yelp quest to find a dentist who would be the right fit for me. After, from looking at reviews. Found the office of Aesthetic Dentistry of Noe Valley. Dr. Nisha Krishnaiah, is simply AMAZING! She explained more to me about my oral health condition than any other dentist I ever visited. Apparently, my previous dentist pretty much butchered the gum tissue surrounding my problem tooth. My gum was inflamed for a year! With two visits, Dr. Krishnaiah carefully treated the gum area to make sure my gums were stabilized and in good shape before starting the process for my crown work. She is very METICULOUS about every detail! For example, the crown arrived from the dental lab (one of the top dental labs in the country), but she was not satisfied with the product and sent it back with more detailed information of what she wanted to the dental technicians. I’m glad she did! My crown is beautiful and blends in with the rest of my teeth for a natural look. I even smile a lot more now. Her team,at Aesthetic Dentistry of Noe Valley are also great and super nice.  Denise, Kim, Sasha, Adriana and Maya are all really great and nice to talk to. This dental office does not overbook patients in a day so that you’re not waiting hours for your turn. This is good because this allows the team and Dr. Krishnaiah to give you a little more privacy, comfort, and attention. I actually look forward to going to the dentist now. I even referred my wife to Dr. Krishnaiah! If you’re looking for a dentist then look no further- I found one for you.
