Dr. Mario has been an extraordinary presence in our children’s lives. He’s done a phenomenal job with both of my kids’ teeth. He’s taken something that could be a difficult process and made it easy for the whole family. Not only does Dr. Mario explain everything in detail and work through the best options for your child, he does so in a manner that shows he’s invested in the best result for your child. The whole staff is warm, funny, and knowledgeable, connecting with the children in a way that makes you feel sure your kids are in good hands. It’s rare to have such a great experience, but we’ve recommended Dr.Mario to several friends and they’ve had the same incredible experience as us. We consider ourselves lucky. Thank you to Dr. Mario and his whole brilliant staff!

Dr. Paz is wonderful and I will never stop raving about him and his staff. It’s a tough thing to get braces in college, but with lingual braces, it was never an issue and I finally got the smile I always wanted! Dr. Paz is incredibly kind and was always a delight to see! His staff is friendly and welcoming, he was always incredibly clear with his plan of action and worked incredibly well with my dentist. When you spend a long time self-conscious about your smile, that change is truly life-changing. I never stop smiling anymore, and that is all thank you to the amazing Dr. Paz! To tell you how much I loved working with him, I spent the first 3 years of treatment driving in from Orange County, and it didn’t even bother me because the care was that wonderful! If you are looking for an orthodontist, or better yet, a lingual orthodontist, you’ve found the place! Thank you Dr. Paz and Staff, you are amazing!

Simply the best! I’ve been coming to see Dr. Paz since 2012 when I needed braces again due to not wearing my retainer. It was unbeknownst to me at the time, but I later felt quite lucky when I learned he is the only orthodontist known to provide both upper and lower permanent retainer options upon removal of your braces. I struggle with my upper cuspid teeth constantly wanting to move and it’s been such a relief to be able to have a permanent bonded retainer on the uppers as well as the lowers. So grateful for Dr Paz! Thanks to his superior techniques, it’s been 6 years and my teeth still look perfect!

Dr. Paz is amazing! I work at a nearby dental office and since we have been referring patients to him for years, I have had the privilege of seeing a lot of before and after pictures. When it came time for my daughter to get braces, choosing him as her orthodontist was a no-brainer! Her teeth have come so far in such a short time, I’m very impressed. Dr. Paz is also from El Salvador, which has won points with my Salvadoran dad who has taken two of my brothers for braces there as well. Nothing but great results all around. Dr. Paz is hilarious and as kind as they come. The whole staff is great and the office is impeccably clean. They have a TV in the waiting room, a great magazine selection, a Keurig for coffee/tea, and offer coloring pages for kids while they wait. They even have a coloring contest with prizes! He has two locations but I work right down the street from the Marina Del Rey location so it’s most convenient for us. Can’t sing his praises enough! Thank you for boosting my daughter’s confidence and making her smile beautiful and straight!

had braces when I was 12 yrs old and here I had them again at age 57.  I couldn’t be happier with the entire process from start to finish.  Both this office and his Beverly Hills office are the nicest I’ve ever seen in a medical office.  A large staff tends to everything that needs to be done and it shows in place and appearance.  As nice as the staff is I can say that Dr. Paz is even nicer.  He has a gentle, steady touch and talks to you rather than at you or down to you.  By the end of my treatment it felt like family.  Prices fair and I never had trouble scheduling my appointments.  Hope he stays in practice for many years to come.  I understand he was President of the American Orthodontic Society for many years and has lectured on his techniques all over the world….wow.

I don’t have dental insurance and shopped around before choosing Dr. Paz, and I’m very glad I chose him.  I’m one year into my treatment for adult braces and am very happy with his work and his office.  While he’s not the cheapest ortho, he’s very reasonably priced and more importantly, knows what he’s doing! You get what you pay for. 1. Appointments are punctual (everyone is too busy to waste time in a waiting room!) 2. Dr. Paz is kind, and really listens to what your issues are and suggests proper ways to treat your bite.  He has a kind and gentle demeanor.  More importantly, he knows what he’s doing. 3. His staff is incredibly helpful. I like the techs, Ilene, Shelly, reception– all are great, kind and professional. 4. I’m always able to find street parking at the Beverly Hills and Marina Del Rey location. (MDR location is easier to find free parking– don’t pay for parking!) I have the clear braces, and while they are more expensive, they are not as noticeable in pictures. Highly recommend!

Dr. Paz is a master orthodontist who relentlessly works to provide the best possible outcome.  I felt extremely confident and at ease throughout my treatment knowing that he always had my best interest at hand and that he would settle for nothing less than perfection.  I always appreciated the way in which he thoroughly explained every detail of the process, it helped make me feel empowered and that I was an active participant.  In addition to receiving an optimal result, I also received the added benefit of learning so many great things for ongoing care.  I am forever grateful for Dr. Paz, his amazing team and the results that I received there.

I was referred to Dr. Paz after treatment failure with invisialign.  I’m not knocking invisialign at all, I am just a non-compliant patient. Invisialign worked wonders for my husbands teeth but he is more disciplined than I am.  I was very hesitant to have braces put on but I had complete confidence in Dr. Paz because he came so highly recommended.  My brackets are (clear on the top and metal on the bottom).  They are not uncomfortable at all.  I had them on for about a year and a half and had them removed right before my wedding.  They were perfect!!! Dr. Paz gave me a retainer to wear and the non-compliant person I am I ended up not wearing them.  Six months later I was back for follow up and my teeth has shifted severly.  He was kind enough to make time to put my brackets back on that day to prevent further shifting.  I was so upset I had messed up the beautiful job he had done, but glad that he made it easy to start fixing them again. I am 6 weeks from having them removed again this time Dr. Paz has recommended a permanent retainer as soon as my brackets get  removed.  I completely agree :). Love him, love his staff.

Dr Paz is hard working with good ethics. He makes it his business to see every patient that walks into the office. My son has been having a great experience here. It is easy to make appointments. And my son is seen as soon as possible for the multiple broken brackets he’s had over the year! I would absolutely recommend Dr Paz!

I’m halfway through a treatment for Invisalign and couldn’t be happier. I can’t believe I actually enjoy going to the dentist…how did that happen? 🙂 Came here after a horror story with another local dentist and the staff here saved me. Thought I’d leave a review as there only seems to be a few, these guys deserve all the praise they can get. Irene, Shelley, and the juniors are all fantastic and it is easy to see why when you meet Dr Mario – it’s a trickle down effect of his wonderful attitude. Do your own investigation and you’ll find that he is actually one of the best in the business. A great example to other dentists and orthodontists of how it should be done. Thanks all!.

He is extremely professional and so friendly as well as his staff making it so easy to go there! Being in the medical field i am what you would say very picky but I have to say Dr paz and his staff are the best! He knows his stuff as well as his staff Definitely a very good practice! I will miss him and his staff  when my treatment is done!
