 I’ve been seeing Dr. Lewis for 20 years now. He is an excellent dentist, including endodontristry, and his assistants are amazing, very sweet and help- and thoughtful. Sarah is the best dental hygienist ever! Even the ladies at the check-in/check-out are super friendly, always up for a personal chat. They all share from their personal experiences in whatever the subject may be, and often you walk away with a little bit of extra insight or a useful tip. Feels like a big family! But most of all they are an outstanding dental practice with the newest technologies and very well run.

I have been going to Dr. Lewis for nearly 20 years. The entire staff makes a point to make me feel welcome, and comfortable. Dr Lewis uses cutting edge technology, and techniques – ensuring healthy teeth, mouth, and smile. Dr. Lewis is an Artist when it comes to restorative procedures. When it comes to Crowns, Implants, and Veneers, he is the only Dentist I trust! You will be impressed by Dr. Lewis’ attention to detail, and genuine concern that he, and his staff have for you. If there were a higher grade than A+ , than I would give it to Dr. Lewis, and his incredible staff! I highly recommend!

Wonderful staff! Dr Lewis is the best. I had “dental phobia” before going to see him. I needed extensive work and he made me feel comfortable and  I no longer fear dental appointments! He is meticulous about his work and I recommend this office to anyone who hates/ fears going to the dentist. The staff is great and most have been with him for 20+ years. Office is immaculate and ruin like a well oiled machine. 5 stars!

Dr. Lewis is a great dentist with a wealth of knowledge about everything. His staff is so nice and always professional. The office is also very innovative!! There are no painful needles used for numbing. The doctor uses a machine for numbing the specific area where the work (extraction, filling etc.) is being performed. Additionally, if you need your teeth cleaned, the hygentists in Dr. Lewis’ office are thorough and caring. I definitely recommend this office.

My son had two cavities and he did not want a shot. Dr. Lewis has a special laser that did not require my son to get a shot or be numbed with novocaine. He treated two cavities while my 4year old son watched a movie. Excellent care/gentle and patient.

I’ve grown up at this dental office. Here it is, 20 something years later and this is my go to spot. Everyone there is so friendly and they make you feel like you’re at home! I love Dr. Lewis and his staff. They were very professional and gave me the best dental care ever. They removed stains from teeth that my previous hygienist and dentist overlooked and they made me a very special night guard that also worked as a retainer. My old nightguard did not retain the shape of my teeth so Dr. Lewis made a very inventive nightguard that also works as a retainer. It was genius! His staff handled all insurance inquiries so I could get the best treatment and maximum coverage. I recommend Dr. Lewis and his staff to everyone!!!!

Dr Lewis and his staff are exemplary examples of how dentist should treat their patients! I have been a patient of Dr Lewis for at least 6 years. He and his staff are the most patient people I have ever met. They are very sensitive to your needs and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I was one of those patients who was initially very fearful of going to a dentist but Dr Lewis eased my fears. I cannot attest for everyone’s experiences, but I will tell you that Dr Lewis performed a root canal and I left his office and experienced  no pain during or after the procedure!

This dentist is the best of the best. Had a root canal done and went to work 2 hrs later had no pain at all. I would highly recommend him. The staff treats u like royalty and they are so knowledgeable. I never had such a pleasant experience from a dentist in my life. I wish I found about this dentist long ago. Also I appreciate that they don’t over book, I never had to wait. I can go on and on but if u want the best dental experience this is the man to see. Dr. Lewis has been my dentist for several years now. I was always terrified of the dentist office.  It only took one visit to know I was in great hands and my fear subsided.  He cares about the comfort of his patients.  He is exceptional and loves what he does. Dr. Lewis always keeps on top of the newest techniques.  His office is state of the art and his staff couldn’t be better.  If you want a top notch dentist, Dr. Lewis is your man.

I love Dr Lewis and all his staff! Every time I come in its a pleasant experience. He’s the only dentist I’ve found that was willing to do Invisalign on my teeth and I’m loving it! I found this dentist when I live in Anaheim. I moved to Huntington Beach a year and a half ago and still make the drive to come here because of the great service.

Dr. Lewis is always on the cutting edge with dental technology.  I have been going to him for 30 years or better.  He is probably the most intelligent person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The other folks’ comments and reviews complaining about insurance has nothing to do with dentistry.  Take some responsibility for understanding your own insurance.  Dr. Lewis’ staff will always find out the cost ahead of time.

My name is Paul Moravek and I had a trip to Geneva coming up in January 2013. About two weeks before I was to leave, Dr. Lewis noticed an unusual looking tooth on one of my X-rays. At that time I had not yet noticed any problem with the tooth Dr. Lewis noticed on my X-ray. As the date for my trip approached, I noticed some mild pressure sensitivity from the tooth Dr. Lewis warned me about but I was intending to give the tooth a chance to and see if it would improve on its own. The pressure sensitivity seemed to reach a peak a few days before I was to leave on the trip, and the tooth seemed to be improving, so I was leaning toward leaving the tooth alone, but I remembered Dr. Lewis’ warning that the tooth would need attention. Dr. Lewis’ warning about the tooth made the difference in my decision to have the tooth treated before leaving the country. When Dr. Lewis drilled into the tooth he found that the unusual area he noticed on the X-ray was actually an infection and that the infected material inside the tooth was actually under pressure. The drilling relieved the pressure inside the tooth and a test found that the tooth had a bacterial infection that could have progressed to life threatening blood poisoning if left untreated. This was an amazing example of dentistry practiced at the highest level of proactive competence. My rating of Dr. Lewis is six stars on a one to five scale. This review is long overdue! I first met Dr. Lewis as a young 20 yr old that needed all 4 wisdom teeth removed! I went to Dr. Lewis as it was a bit more affordable than seeing an oral surgeon. Dr. Lewis is great at what he does! I had little to no discomfort and since my case was rather simple,  nothing but a local anesthetic was needed! Fast forward years later.. there is no one on this planet that I trust more with my gums than Dr. Lewis & Sarah! She keeps my gum health in check along with Dr. Lewis. The office staff is great! Sherry is very kind, and Deborah is amazing! The team works really well together and have nothing but your best interest in mind. My kids now come and see them and both have had their teeth cleaned by Sarah, and my eldest will be the next one to have his wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Lewis. Dr. Lewis is always educating himself on the newest procedures to be able to offer that to his patients making it super convenient, for someone like me, that needs some perio care, to not have to see a periodontist since I feel at home here! FANTASTIC DENTIST! I’ve been search for over two years for dentist (really! i’m a dental chicken)… I’ve visited over a dozen dental offices…So when I tell you that Dr Lewis is so very patient, professional, and has his patient’s interest at heart– BELIEVE ME! Last week I visited Dr Lewis’ office for a root canal consultation. He could have done the procedure. But because he has his patient’s interest as #1 — he told me about a new root canal procedure called “GentleWave.com”… He said he didn’t have the equipment, but it was the latest and greatest technology for a root canal. So taking his advice I did find an endodontist to do the procedure. And did i mention his wonderful staff, including Debra? Don’t hesitate… Dr. Lewis is one-in-a-million!

I was terrified to go to the Denist, Dr. Lewis and staff were wonderful!! I walked into Dr. Lewis office with so much anxiety, but as soon as I met the staff, that all changed. Every person I met was so kind and understanding. Dr. Lewis took care of me with gentleness along wth his assistants. Hands down, if your afraid of the Dentist, or just want a great Dentist, Please see Dr. Lewis! I am a new patient for life!

For those of you looking for a quality dentist with the highest integrity, I highly recommend Dr. J. Dennis Lewis. From the front desk receptionist, to the dental assistants, dental hygienists, and Dr. Lewis, you won’t find a better family practice! Dr. Lewis and his staff are a family with many of the staff members working there 27+ years. Together they provide the best care possible all the while making their patients feel very relaxed and comfortable. My family and I have been fortunate to receive such good dental service for many years!

Update 2017- I’m coming back in to get a tooth replaced and my wife is finally getting her teeth cleaned after having our baby, and my wife said a fun thing ” I love that Dr. Lewis has surrounded himself with a bunch of smart ladies, it’s like they always keep him on track and make it so comfortable to be here.” I personally just like that he is always improving his techniques with new research and tells it to me straight.

I’ve had a tooth extraction done here (last month), multiple cavities dealt with (last year), and a tooth repaired a year prior, that I was sure I was going to lose entirely. The reason I needed so much work: I’m one of those people who does not handle dentist office visits well at all, and hadn’t gone to any dentist for too many years. I have good news for anyone who is really, really bothered by dental work: they got me through it amazingly well, far better than I ever imagined was possible, my anxiety of dental work is 95% gone now. They do sedation dentistry, I was sort of awake but wasn’t bothered by the dental work at all, you take a sedative or something orally beforehand. And truly could not care less about what’s going on during the procedure. At least in my case. On another tooth I needed some really specialised work and Dr Lewis sent me to a different dentist for that. The other guy was clearly a good dentist technically, and a really nice guy but I literally blacked out in the chair over there during the procedure. After that I won’t go anywhere else than Dr Lewis office. Everyone was incredibly patient with me, though I was stressed out just like a cat at the vet the first time. They did have to do a deep cleaning, Nora did it and was really patient with me. Now that it’s done it’s all over, and it’s just light maintenance cleaning. I have pretty good insurance, and what I did was get the major work ‘spread out’ over 3 years such that my insurance coverage didn’t run out each year. Maybe not the best idea healthwise but it saved a lot of money and it worked out in my case. Most of all I’m really glad my wife talked me into going here a few years ago because otherwise I’d be facing some very serious oral surgery by now.
