There are not enough good thigs I can say about Dr. Austin and his staff. From the beginning, I was greeted with such friendliness and the vibe in the office was so great and continued to be great throughout my treatment. My teeth look great and Dr. Austin and his staffs willingness to work with my crazy schedule and questions were an added bonus. I asked to speak with the doc a few times and he never failed to call me back right away with all the answers. He really is there to make you happy throughout your whole treatment and not just once you meet him and sign papers and I think that’s pretty cool.

Came here with my two children for a free consultation. The front office staff was so sweet and asked if I wanted coffee or water. They got me in for a late evening appointment the very next day after calling. They reminded about my appointment via text and even sent the forms to sign via text! Can you say efficient?! Dr. Austin was very pleasant and so informative. His office is a fun surf theme and my kids are very excited about the rewards points they get to accumulate throughout treatment. SO glad I found this office!

Dr. Austin is one of the absolute best orthodontists in town. After doing much research on different orthodontic practices in L.A., I am thrilled we chose Dr. Austin as our family’s orthodontist. He is very informative and uses the latest and best technology available, and offers many different treatment options. Absolutely the BEST!!!

Dr. Austin was a huge help to me and I would highly recommend him if you are looking for an orthodontist. He uses the latest equipment and techniques and his staff is fun and friendly. He makes what could be a painful process easy and relatively quick. They are on the 8th floor at the end of the hallway. There is a parking deck there but if you are able to find parking on the side streets that would probably be cheaper. Usually I didn’t have to wait long in his office, and they have a fun surfer themed atmosphere. There are kids movies playing but as an adult getting braces it didn’t feel too kidsy. I definitely recommend him!

Dr. Austin Is amazing!! He has a great office and his staff is very helpful and gentle. My daughter likes going to the office to see the cool surfing & beach theme office, getting her teeth straight is just a bonus =) The veiw is relaxing and I am able to get my own work done while I wait for her to be finished withher appointment. When I arrive early they accomidate me very nicely(even when i’m late too)! Dr Austin knows what he’s talking about and whenever I have questions he answers them every time. I travel 35miles each way just so my daughter can have the BEST experience possible! So THANK YOU DR. Austin for caring about my daughter!!! Your staff is amazing.. Dr. Austin is one of the best health care professionals that I have met.  He is a skilled professional who truly cares about his patients.   Both of my sons are under his care, and I am extremely pleased with his work. Our dentist routinely complements Dr. Austin’s good work and is impressed with the results.  I highly recommend Dr. Austin and his wonderful staff.

I went to see Dr. Austin today and he was amazing.  I am adult that wear bite plate and retainer.  The bite plate needed adjusting as I was getting migraines.  Dr. Austin reviewed my devices and helped to adjust my bite plate and made the entire process fast and easy.  It’s never fun seeing the ortho as an adult, but Dr. Austin made the process smooth.  His staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing.  I highly recommend this Orthodontist!

Went today for a consult. My son is mid treatment and we are forced to make a switch. After examining him he noted that 2 wires were loose. Without charge or ANY commitment he offered to repair them! This is unheard of nowadays. I highly recommend professionals of this caliber as they are rare.

I decided to get Invisilign here and I’m so glad I did!  The place is really nice and open and there technology for Invisilign is really advanced.  You don’t have to get the mold to start your treatment, it’s done all by a machine that touches each tooth and you watch them wrap your tooth on a screen.  I live in San Diego now, so he also sends me my trays if I cant make it into the office which has been a HUGE lifesaver.  If not for that, I doubt I could commit to anything like a year treatment timeline.  Only downside is you have to pay to park in the garage, but I actually found street parking and saved the $8.00 or whatever by walking a block.  I’m halfway done and can’t believe what an easy process it tuned out to be.

THEEEEE BEST orthodontist!. My teeth were horrible when I walked into his office but 2 years later Dr. Austin has given me a reason to smile again. He is very friendly and down to earth and his staff is so nice and accomodating. No to mention the view of the beach from the chairs is awesome. I recommend everyone that needs braces to go and see him, you won’t regret it.

My children and I had a great experience here.  Dr. Austin is fantastic at figuring out hard cases like mine, an adult.  Where another Ortho almost gave up on me Dr. Austin had some tricks up his sleeve.  I have a beautiful smile now and so do my  two kids.  I like that he tries to avoid teeth extraction and takes the entire facial features into prospective.  Great office in environment too especially when the dog is there.

AMAZING…..  Had Invisiline procedure done a couple years ago and results continue to amaze.  Dr Austin was a highly personable doctor who took the time to explain everything and had the Harvard pedigree to match.  Would highly recommend his practice.

Dr Austin was amazing. I was a transfer case from overseas and he happily continued my treatment whereas other orthodontists had said I would need to start over again and pay the full amount. Dr Austin is professional and friendly and incredibly knowledgable. His team are fantastic and always so kind and welcoming. Cannot recommend Dr Austin and his team enough!!

9/27/2012 Edit » I have to say Dr. Austin is amazing at what he does!!!!! Also, the office….. so cool and different with a surf theme and a beautiful view of Santa Monica Beach. The office is very neat and the staff is really nice. I had clear braces and when I got my braces on I got a nice starter package with everyhting you need to start and take care of your braces. I even received follow up calls from the staff. Dr. Austin was always willing to answer any question I had and called me back on a call very quickly! He knows his stuff. Oh and they even had a morning party when I had my braces taken off. Very cool! GO GO GO GOGO GO GO GO!!

Dr. Austin is awesome and his staff is friendly and courteous.  Dr. Austin is meticulous and has the highest standards.  He is excellent about explaining every step of your treatment.  He wants the best results and takes the time to give you the most beautiful smile.

From the outset, when I called to inquire about meeting with Dr. Austin, I was met with the warm and calm voice of Stephanie. Not only did she let me know that Dr. Austin was proficient at working with difficult cases such as mine, she also let me know that he was willing to see me the same afternoon. As I arrived at his bustling practice, I wondered how he was able to fit me in, there seemed to be no downtime, everyone was busy. Stephanie helped me to fill out the necessary paperwork and led me to the back to meet with the lovely and kind Denise who let me know that Dr. Austin was happy to come speak to me. While we waited for the Dr., Denise, seemed to be happier than me that I was taking the steps to correct my bite. She made me feel totally secure that I was in the right place. Dr. Austin walked in with a Kind smile and sharp eyes. He seemed to know all of the answers to my questions before I asked them. He gave me more useful information relating to my case than five previous orthodontists had collectively given me in earlier consultations. I knew then that I was in the right place. I am looking forward to my journey with Dr. Austin and his staff. All that I have encountered (including the lovely and kind Angel who prepared my images and records) has been AMAZING thus far. Two orthodontists tried and failed to fix my teeth over four years (one in the UK, one in Canada). The latter told me that he wished my next dentist “the best of luck” with my case when I came to LA. For Dr Austin, it was a walk in the park. He’s seen all those tricky cases, and has great judgement. It probably took 18 months in all. I just wish I saw him at the age of 13 rather than 30. P.S. This was ten years ago. My teeth are still great. I just see Dr Austin every now and then for my retainers. He has my strongest recommendation.

Dr. Austin is simply put, the best orthodontist on the Westside for children and adults. As a dental healthcare professional for 26 years, I have worked with many orthodontists, and none have impressed me like this man. His joyful and informed attitude about his profession shine with each office visit. Having that sheepskin from Harvard doesn’t hurt! Special attention must be paid to Perla, New Patient Coordinator and Denise, Appointment Coordinator. These professionals are bright, open and caring – and they know how to incorporate smiles and joy into the office setting. I have a friend who is currently in treatment with Dr. Austin for adult Invisalign clear aligner orthodontics. Every time I see him he raves about the excellent care he is receiving. It’s never too late to improve your smile and Dr. Austin and Team really know the best way to achieve a new smile! Also important to note, Dr. Austin really pays attention to the whole wellness of his patients – he is not narrowly focused on “teeth straightening.” With his love of surfing and all things outdoors, he helps his patients stay on track for a long, healthy life. The office has a great rewards program for children in treatment to make sure they are seeing their general dentist at appropriate intervals to ensure healthy gums and teeth – if only all orthodontists had this figured out. This office is located in a lovely professional building in Santa Monica with gorgeous views. Kid and adult friendly – this is THE place for orthodontics.

Love the staff here. Dr Austin is great & my wait time was 0 minutes. They took me right in. The atmosphere is relaxing & everyone is warm & friendly. Places like this are hard to find. Don’t mind coming here for ortho treatment in a place where I will be having to make frequent visits for the next 12 months.

Dr Turley is hands down the best.  His partner, Dr Paul Austin, is great too. He has been my daughters orthodontist since moving to Santa Monica 5 years ago. When she first started with him it was just to monitor the way her teeth were coming in. She saw him every six months for 3 1/2 years and he never charged us a dime. We weren’t charged for anything until she actually got her braces put on a year ago. They do have payment plans too so you don’t have to fork out thousands of dollars all at once, and they take several different kinds of insurance.  The staff is very nice, well informed, and remember you by name every time.  As a bonus – Dr Turley does a pier party at the Santa Monica Pier every year for all of his patients. He buys all the kids (and adults who want them) wristbands and dinner. My daughter is even allowed to bring a friend.
