They are so amazing!!!! Dr. Pannu is an amazing dentist and so good with my daughter. She has done all the dental work on my daughter and she loves her and feel so comfortable and cared for by Dr. Pannu and everyone in the office. I’ve been coming here for years, but this is the first time I’ve met Dr. Pannu. She is super friendly and gentle on your mouth. They make you feel welcomed. The ladies in the front and back office are so sweet. The waiting room is comfortable couch and chairs and a coffee machine. I have gone to this dental office, which was recommended by a co-worker. I am now retired and the commute  is further but I continue to go to the same dental office because I have been happy there. (Previous owner) was my dentist for years. I was saddened that she is no longer practicing but I have seen Dr. Pannu several times since then and liked her from the start. I moved recently, and needed a new dentist. I did a fair bit of searching before finding a dentist near me that seemed really sincere, kind, and not dodgy (some dentists definitely try to upsell you on things you don’t need). Dr. Grewal was not like this – she was awesome! Super kind, and patiently listened to my concerns and made sure everything was addressed before I was all done. The staff is also taking full precautions – there’s the plastic barrier in the lobby with the receptionists, and all the staff are wearing masks. My hygenist (who I spent most of the time with as she cleaned my teeth) was wearing full PPE – two masks, a shield in addition to everything else. I felt very safe and the staff was really all very kind – I will definitely be back. By the way, they also do oral cancer screenings – I opted out this time because it didn’t make sense for me personally, but haven’t seen that in other dentist’s offices before so I think it’s worth mentioning. Glad to have found my dentist!

Finally I have found a dentists office where there is no up selling and they actually do what every dentist should be doing, which is treating a patient. I am tired of being taken into consult rooms with managers up selling treatment. I came to Costa Mesa Smiles waiting to be yet again disappointed. But doctor and staff were just opposite of my other experiences. I was welcomed in the practice and the doctor introduced herself in the waiting room and then offered me something to drink (WOW! that hasn’t happened before). I needed a root canal (which I knew from my last visit to another doctor) and the costs presented were reasonable. I came back for the root canal on a later date and procedure took less than an hour. I also had an extraction done and will be back for an implant in next four months after my bone has healed. I highly recommend this practice to everyone and especially those who have had bad dental experiences like me.

Costa Mesa Smiles is AMAZING, I don’t think I’ve ever said that about a dental office. I’ve had a lot of bad experiences in the past with dentists but I am so glad that I found this place. (I even got my husband to come in for a cleaning and have something done here as well) Dr Grewal is so sweet, she is gentle, she is very thorough and explains everything she does. Susan is always on top of everything, from scheduling, text reminders, verifying insurance benefits, making sure you understand everything, accommodating and ready to answer any questions. I am SO sad that now that I finally found a great dentist I am moving out of state. It’s very rare that you come across a good dentist. Friendly front desk, they are informed and know the trade well; info on insurance etc. Hygienist Loc did an awesome job, he painted a clear picture of what needed attention and what’s important to know about my gums. The assistant was gentle when taking x-rays, I’ve had some other assistants in the past push the part where you bite done on too far in my mouth and it can be super uncomfortable. Doctor Grewal was professional and explained well what was in my x-rays. No question is too small in the office, just ask and you’ll get an answer whether about your insurance, other treatment options, your teeth, or just oral hygiene. I will be back for my filling!

Dr. Manreet Pannu Grewal is a full-time family practice dentist who provides care for all ages focusing on general and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Pannu has perfected the art of gentle touch, painless dentistry, and many patients seek out her skills. Dr. Bassem Alkatib is a Board-Certified Endodontist, a graduate of USC Dental School, and USC Endodontics Residency. After completing his residency program, Dr. Alkatib worked as Adjunct Faculty at USC School of Dentistry in addition to his private practice. Our team-oriented staff provides the most compassionate dental care by always placing your needs and wishes first. We provide a multilingual environment to our patients which includes English, Fukien, Spanish, Tagalog, Hindi, Punjabi and sign language. We always welcome new patients, accept most insurance plans and offer Care Credit. Dr. Pannu is member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and Orange County Dental Society. Manreet Pannu Grewal, D.D.S., has been practicing general dentistry for 14 years and locally in Orange County in the last eight years. She is passionate about dentistry and believes in treating patients with empathy and compassion while offering the best dental care for her patients. Dr. Pannu graduated from Dental School in 2002 and completed Advanced Graduate Studies in Cosmetic and Operative Dentistry from Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine - Boston University in 2006. Dr. Pannu is highly trained in LASER technology, root canals, restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She also completed the advanced training program in Implant Dentistry provided by the California Implant Institute.
