I went to Dr Hong for my braces and ended up recommending my friend to his office as well. The staff as a whole are always courteous and considerate and make you feel comfortable. They have English as well as Korean speakers which is a plus, and they work as a well-oiled machine. Dr Hong always smiles and seems in a good mood which helps with the fear of the ortho trip. No one in the office ever makes you feel rushed or stressed. He was also very thorough in explanation during the initial consultation and gave a respectable first impression which lasted throughout my time being treated by him and his staff. At this new location they have a larger waiting space, water and coffee, iPads, and more. Congratulations to Dr Hong on his success, I hope he keeps it up!

I got my braces done in Dr. Hong’s office and I am happy with the results. Since I was young I had four teeth that looked like vampire fangs, and it seemed impossible to have them straight. When I visited his office first time, I realized Dr. Hong was very professional and knowledgeable in regards to the treatments; he made an overall plan of the treatment and explained to me how it was going to be like from the start. While I had the braces on I was well informed of the treatment, and it was not scary at all, because I knew what was going on. More than that, when you have a question or concern about your teeth, he is very helpful and is kind to listen and take care of the patient’s needs. So after around 2 years later, my teeth were as straight as ever. He works until the patients are satisfied- until the teeth are perfectly aligned and beautiful. Dr. Hong’s is the orthodontist I would happily recommend to anyone who needs their braces done and want their teeth straight.

Dr. Hong treated my son for overbite and I am very happy with the result. It was not an easy case but Dr. Hong and his staff made this very pleasant for me and my son. Dr. Hong and his staff were great in explaining the procedures and always took time to answer all my questions. The office is new and clean and high tech. Their front staff are friendly and accommodating as well. I already recommended two of my friends and now their daughters are in treatment happily. I recommend Dr. Hong  to anyone who is looking for a quality caring orthodontist and friendly office staff.

I’ve been going here for four years and they have treated me very kindly. If you are looking for a place to get braces this is the place to go. The staff are very kind and are always welcoming. They give a friendly feel as you get your teeth worked on. Dr. Hong is seriously one of the best orthodontist you will ever meet. DO YOU LIKE FRIENDLY PEOPLE? DO YOU WANT YOUR TEETH TO BE CHECKED BY THE BEST? WELL THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. COME HERE AND YOU SERIOUSLY WILL NOT REGRET IT.

I went to Dr. Hong for six years (two phases, complete with braces, rubber bands, head gear and all). The staff is exceptional. At every appointment, I was greeted with a smile as soon as I walked in the door. They were also great about clearly explaining each step of the process and answering all my questions. It’s clear that they care about their patients. I’m also extremely satisfied with the way my teeth turned out. Dr. Hong took the utmost care to make sure my teeth were perfect. His attention to detail and tireless determination is admirable. I would recommend Hong Orthodontics to anyone thinking about getting braces. The staff is especially good with kids. I started coming here in third grade, and although I had always been terrified of dentists, doctors, and the like, the staff here was so incredibly kind and patient that I quickly got over my fear.

I’ve been coming here since my sister got her braces then my turn came ! For three years Dr.Hong and his staff were nothing but amazing! His office was very quaint and relaxing and always offered a refreshment while waiting! They sometimes put on a little raffle which is a great way to connect with clients in my opinion. They always gave clear instructions and answered my questions with clarity. Braces are off and I’m kind of sad I won’t be visiting them every month.

I was referred to Hong Orthodontics by my dentist some years ago and I have been going here ever since. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the offices at both the Orange and Irvine areas are very nice and at convenient locations. Scheduling is no hassle and appointment changes go extremely smoothly. After going to Hong Orthodontics, my teeth look straight and amazing. Before, my teeth were a complete mess, but now, I couldn’t have asked for better looking teeth. I highly recommend Dr. Hong to anyone looking for an orthodontist!

Dr. Hong gives nothing but his best, he’s fast, efficient, and easy to talk to! His staff is just as amazing, helping you with anything you need, even if they are busy. When I had my braces taken off about a year ago, after having them on for a little over 2 years, the results where more than I could ask for! My sister is going to get her braces next and she’ll also be coming to see Dr. Hong, he should be (if he isn’t already) the number one most recommended.D

Doctor Hong has been very helpful with keeping up with our busy schedule. I also enjoy the brace bucks which is very helpful to motivate us and keep us on track with our dental hygiene. For all those who don’t know about brace bucks are, it is a form of made up money that we can earn to buy cool prizes. The staff members are very helpful with keeping track of payments and are always thoughtful and not shameful when they have to give you bad news such as not keeping up with your dental hygiene.

In terms of facility, cleanliness and professional experience, Hong Orthodontics maintains a qualitative atmosphere. The only downside I’ve experienced with this office is that they don’t remind you of your appointments. I have been going here for my Invisalign treatment so I only come in every 6 weeks. I missed one appointment because it slipped my mind and they never called to give a courtesy reminder. I informed them of this and they said if i missed another appointment, I would be charged a fee. So be sure to mark your appointments in your calendars!! Overall though, Dr. Hong is a great facility for families and he engages his patients with fun contests like guess the weight of pumpkins (for halloween to win an Amazon giftcard) and “How well do you know Dr. Hong?” *UPDATE* Bumping my review up a star since they have since fixed their answering machine/notification system and I receive text message reminders with specifics for my upcoming appointments! The receptionists are always very attentive and address me by my name right when I walk in. Dr. Hong is definitely a perfectionist and he strives to achieve the best results for all his patients.

I had such a great experience at Hong Orthodontics. Dr. Hong and his staff are very professional and nice. My teeth had gaps and were misaligned but with the help and great care of Dr. Hong and his staff, I finally have the smile I’ve always wanted. I will definitely be referring them to all my friends and family and bring my family and kids in the future if they are ever in need of braces. They have earned a life long patient and friend.

Came in for a consultation, left with braces! The whole team here made me feel so welcome and comfortable and did not make me feel pressured at all! Kelsey did such a good job at being transparent with me, and answered all of my questions and more. Jaime was also very kind and gentle with me when taking my X-rays and explaining all of the things he was doing which made me feel comfortable. Thank you Kelsey, Jaime, and dr Hong for starting this journey for me.

We have had nothing less than an excellent experience with Dr. Hong and his wonderful office staff over the past 8 years with three kids. Dr. Hong is very conscientious and personable with his patients and parents. Everyone in the office is warm and friendly and go out of their way to make appointments quick and easy. Their scheduling is very flexible and they are most accommodating when ever we need to make or change an appointment. We have been recommending them to all of our friends and neighbors for many years now.

My son had his braces removed today and OMG Dr Hong and all the staff made it so very special!! We, yes me too, felt almost like celebrities with the gift and the card and all the staff clapping!!! But that is not why I recommend Dr Hong and his AWESOME staff but because of their EXCELENT service and expertise, and they are so kind and nice and super helpful, nothing but great things come to mind when I think of any and all of them! They always have a smile on their faces too! As I told them today, they are the very best!!! They are who you need to go to when in need of an orthodontist. I cannot wait to get my braces and that is a lot to say because not too long ago I hated the idea! Thank you so much for everything!!

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Hong since January 2017 when she received her braces. She had a large space between her front teeth and also required some oral surgery during that time to help bring down a stubborn permanent tooth from inside her gums that would not come down on its own. Dr. Hong was very attentive in making sure that the tooth and the rest of her teeth were making the proper progress. He has a wonderful bedside manner and is always willing to answer any questions. The office staff is very friendly and attentive and they are always timely when seeing their patients. My daughter just got her braces off several weeks ago and she couldn’t be happier with her beautiful smile. Her tooth came down beautifully, the space closed between her front teeth, and she is ready for Senior Pictures! Thanks Dr. Hong and staff!

I use to have braces in middle school and Dr Hong was my orthodontist back then too. I stopped wearing my retainers and my teeth got messed up again. I went to the dentist that Dr. Hong treated my in and he wasn’t there anymore. Now being my second year of college I had to get braces again. I searched for new orthodontics for a few week and found Dr. Hong again! My experience at Hong Orthodontics has been amazing. The staff are very friendly. The prices are reasonable and once again Dr Hong’s work didn’t fail to amaze me.

I have completed my braces and now in my retainer phase. For the whole 2 years I have been to Dr. Hong’s office, I have enjoyed my visits. The staffs super nice and very polite, unlike some of the snappy medical staffs I have encountered elsewhere. There are two locations, one in Irvine and the other in Orange. Both are run by same staffs (they open one location for half a week and shift), so you can attend to whichever location is convenient for you. I have been to both, and each office is nice and clean. Usually I get nervous and uncomfortable in any sort of hospital related environment, but this office makes me feel relaxed and chill. There’s always some sort of snacks or coffee and water. And with soft music in the background, I just sit back and daydream or something. Once in a while, there is a special event held with prizes. Last time I recall was guessing the weight of pumpkins in a basket? The ones with closest estimation win. There are several winners and they win gift card as I remember. And as for the doctor himself, he is the best. He obviously knows what he’s doing. I actually got introduced to Dr. Hong through my brother, who had a special case for his braces. All the previous orthodontists gave up on him and it was Dr. Hong who succeeded. So job wise, he is perfect. And pretty chill guy as a person as well. He will consider your opinion important. Very easy to approach, and will answer all of your questions. This place is very reasonable with the prices, and I highly recommend to whoever is thinking about getting his/her braces done.

Best Ortho office I’ve been to. After I got my braces taken off at another office, the retainer I was given actually shifted my bottom teeth! So I’ve been procrastinating going back in. I was referred to Dr.Hong by my dentist and I’m so glad he did. I love how clean and updated the office looks. The girls upfront are super nice and accommodating. When I went in for the consult, Cindy saw me right away and listened to what my problem was and what I needed. Then I met with Dr.Hong and and got my impression taken for a retainer. Quick and easy. Now I’m sorry I waited for so long.

I love Dr. Hong and all staff members here. Hong Orthodontics is probably the best orthodontics in Orange County. First of all, the staffs here are both very professional and friendly so I always felt comfortable here. I do not getting my braces here because I feel like they gave me the best teeth I can possibly have. If I had gone to another orthodontics, I do not think that my teeth would be this straight and remain straight forever. Also, I am happy that Dr. Hong gave me clear retainers instead of the wiry ones. I see some of my friends who went to other orthodontics and all of them got wired retainers, so they are all jealous of me. Not only are the staffs great, but the office looks very neat. I do not regret coming to Hong Orthodontics and all my money was worth it. I totally recommend this place to anyone who wishes to get braces!

I went to Dr.Hong to get my braces done and I have never had a problem. Now I go there for my Invisalign and its still great. They moved offices and it is so clean and such a nice environment to be in. The staff there are so friendly and polite I love it there. Dr.Hong always remembers me and he is so happy all the time which helps me remain calm as well. The new office waiting room is amazing. There are so many things to do. They even have a mini-fridge filled with refreshments. Overall, great place and I will continue to go there and recommend this place to others.

I’ve been going here for 3 years for my braces and I’m glad I chose this place because Doctor Hong is very experienced and happy to see everyone though he may be tired. The nurses are very nice and make sure you’re fine by making sure nothing hurts and makes you feel comfortable. The people at the front desk speak very nicely to you and usually at least one of them is bilingual which is convinent. In addition, I took my braces off a few months ago and my teeth are very nice and straight.

My aunt recommended Dr. Hong’s office several years ago. I’d just recently gotten my braces removed in February after having them for about 2.5 years! Dr. Hong is amazing at what he does! Everyone in his office is super cheery and they always have great smiles on their faces. I’d enjoyed the monthly visits, and I’m enjoying the confidence that Dr. Hong’s given me in the form of a perfect smile! A truly enjoyable experience. I would recommend his office to anyone that is looking for an amazing orthodontist.
