Dr. Tabata is a very professional and thorough orthodontist. He explains what he is doing and why. His staff is exceptional. I ask many questions because I’ve had bad experiences with other dentists and he takes the time to explain what needs to be done and why. By far, he is the best orthodontist I’ve ever had.  He gets my highest recommendation and I encourage anyone in law enforcement to check him and his practice out.

Dr. Tabata and his team are awesome! I just got my retainer today and they gave me cute little celebration to congratulate me on my smile! I want to thank Terry especially for her wonderful skills and all the helpful tips she has given me! Highly recommend this orthodontist to people who are interested in getting Invisalign!

Dr. Tabata’s office rocks!! His staff goes above and beyond to take care of their patients and their parents. My son and daughter went there years ago, (Chase Hougardy & Joy Hougardy) Our commute was rather far and out of our way coming from work in Monrovia but it was always well worth it!! Chase had two sets of Invisilines and my daughter Joy had the kind she could pick her own colors. The staff was always caring and on top of everything my kids needed and were very patient, supportive and worked diligently with my payment plans since it was all out of pocket. Dr. Tabata was always kind, patient and gentle and could tell immediately if there was any fears, stress, uneasiness or discomfort. Thank you all for making us always feel valued, cared for and well taken care of, like we did matter ~ Blessings to you all a true recommendation for anyone in need of orthodontic care! Oh and their office atmosphere was the best ever!!

I was referred to an orthodondist by my dentist, because of an over bite issue.I showed up for my “DREADED”  orthodontics appointment. As soon as I walked into the lobby, it was a friendly feeling… as if you are on a beach.. Shawna first greeted me with a  warm smile and a awesome sence of humor… explaining my options, easy payment plan, and on my visits, telling me how good my braces look!!..THE TABATA TEAM IS GREAT!!!!, cant wait to see my new smile.

I highly recommend this orthodontist. He is one of the nicest people I have ever met and his team was so very nice to me. The experience throughout treatment has been fantastic. I chose to get Invisalign and my smile just looks awesome. They are a great practice and thanks for the fabulous experience.

My two older kids got braces at Dr. Tabata’s office, and have beautiful smiles. My young daughter, age 8, had a complicated front tooth, 45 deg rotation,  and not enough permanent teeth for full braces. Her teeth were crowed, and she was put on an expander for a few months. Very smooth start, minimal pain or discomfort at the start.  After the expander came out her front four teeth got the braces to straighten out the one tooth, and now her front teeth look great.  She smiles with her braces, and shows them off to her third grade classmates.

Dr Tabata and all the staff were absolutely amazing with my son. They were able to help him with X-rays, scan for braces, and applying the braces all in one appointment. My son has autism and has struggled with this at other orthodontist offices. They were so kind, patient, and very skilled. I’m so grateful.

He is absolutely the best orthodontist! Both of my 2  kids got their braces with Dr. Tabata. My younger child had to get them in 2 phases (needed a palatal expander first to make space for her front teeth). I was a little unsure at first about the palatal expander. However, I’m so glad we did it because her teeth are now straight-didn’t need  to pull out any teeth whatsoever.  Her 2nd phase with the addition of the bottom braces progressed very quickly.  I can’t believe that she’ll be getting her braces removed at 12 1/2 years old! So ecstatic about the results.  He is truly a gentleman with the best bedside manner. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a competent/well experienced orthodontist. You won’t be disappointed.

Just left Dr. Tabata’s Diamond Bar location and I am so grateful and blown away at the amazing service we all recieved! We were referred to him by Dr. Kevin Snaer in Arcadia and I’m thankful for him recommending this place.  From the moment I called and spoke to Veronica I knew this place was great. I underestimated them completely. I didn’t expect the level of service we received. Everyone here is excellent and made my daughter feel completely comfortable! An evaluation for braces turned into my daughter actually getting braces! She felt nervous at first and Courtney,  Brandi, & Dr. Tabata earned her trust and she chose to get them done. Thank you Dr. Tabata, Brandi, Courtney,  Veronica,  & Imelda for taking care of my family and most of all for making this experience comfortable and easy! Side note: they treat adults and Dad & I will most definitely be getting treatment here!!

I started seeing Dr. Tabata about a year ago. The first thing I have to say about the organization is that they run like a well-oiled machine from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave. If my appointments are more than ten minutes long from start to finish, then I probably did something wrong. Everyone is extremely professional and welcoming. They are TIMELY, which is number one for me. Everything is very aesthetically pleasing to the eye within the office. With regards to patient care, all of the orthodontist in the office that I have worked with have been so gentle, informative, and professional. I would recommend them to anyone and would be back if need be (knock on wood).

We are so grateful to have found Dr. Tabata. He is such a kind, gentle man and has made the whole orthodontics experience wonderful. My daughter actually looks forward to going to her appointments! The office and staff are great…so friendly, and welcoming. You feel right at home when you’re there. And they make the atmosphere there such a fun place to be in. Again we are very pleased with Dr. Tabata, and staff!!!

Best dentist I have ever been too the staff is awesome and are so helpful and kind.They got my invisaline expedited because I was leaving and always took care of any questions I had. Veronica and Vanessa were great and helped me out tons!! Very satisfied with their Service. I highly recommend anyone wanting to get invisaline to check them out!

Having finally saved enough money for braces, I asked my dentist if he knows anyone in particular for orthodontic care. He happily suggested that I visit Dr. Tabata as he did both his daughters’ braces. He gave me a slip with Dr. Tabata’s information and I made an appointment for a consultation. Getting an appointment wasn’t difficult at all as Jeanine was very easy to talk to and worked with my schedule. She got me the next available Saturday appointment. Fast forward and I’m in the sitting area. I met with Shauna and she helped me fill out some forms as we waited for Dr. Tabata to assess my teeth. I was very self-conscious about my teeth because of the severe crowding, but everyone in the office made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Tabata explained that although I had severe crowding, I have very beautiful teeth and with my facial structure, it wouldn’t be too difficult. He made notes of my teeth and once he had enough information about them, he told me that with the Damon Speed Braces, I would only have to wear my braces for 18 months. I was very pleased to hear this because I’ve visited numerous of offices and majority, if not all of the orthodontist estimated that it would take anywhere between 4-5 years! He explained the technology behind the Speed Braces that enables them to work faster than traditional braces. He answered all of my questions and when I had no more questions to ask, he left me with Shauna, who took over. She went through each of the three treatments: metal brackets, Damon brackets, and Invisilign. She explained that whether I choose metal or Damon brackets, the length of the procedure would be the same since the brackets don’t really come into play. The star of the show lies within the wires, the speed braces. The speed braces are two wires intertwined together and work more efficiently than a single wire. Additionally, the wires are heat activated, so, if you want to speed up the process even more, drink more hot beverages. Dr. Tabata suggested that I take pictures of my teeth every week so I can see the progress. I’m so glad I did because the results are just remarkable. My teeth were severely crowded, and with just one week of the Damon speed braces, everything was starting to straighten out. In two months, my teeth are all aligned. By the third month, I no longer had an underbite. By my fourth month, everything was straightening out so much, there was only one more thing to do… Wait for my teeth to straighten out and make room for one teeth to move into place, or extract the bicuspid tooth to make room. After that’s done, it’ll be smooth sailing from here on out. The hard part will be over. Before I forget, I did want to mention that Dr. Tabata’s pricing is very reasonable. The payment plans make it attainable. And if you ever break anything (a bracket, or a wore came loose), they’ll replace it for you free of charge! The retainers that you have to wear at the end of your treatment is included in the price, but if you lose your retainers, unfortunately they cannot cover that. A replacement will be $300. Other than that, you really can’t complain. The staff is nice and genuinely friendly. The doctor is amazing at what he does, and the results are AMAZING! I recommend visiting Dr. Tabata for all your ortho care.

I recently was referred to dr. Tabata for orthodontic work. I was apprehensive because of my previous experiences with other orthodontists. To my complete surprise, dr. Tabata and his staff have been fantastic. The level of care and attention I received from them was top-notch. I could not be more pleased with the work being done on me by dr. Tabata. This is my first Yelp review and I am so happy it’s for dr. Tabata. To all my police officer friends and associates, dr. Tabata and his staff are AWESOME!

This office is very professional . Everyone takes great care in making the patients feel at ease and Dr Tabata really shows great pride in his profession. The office is very clean and nicely decorated. It is a pleasure to bring my kids here.

Dr. Tabata is simply the best orthodontist out there. He is not only incredibly brilliant in his profession, but he also is one of the most caring people I have ever met. He genuinely cares for each and every patient and will go out of his way to make sure everyone’s needs are met. You feel like he cares for your results more than you do.  The best thing about Dr. Tabata’s office is the culture. Everyone who works there is beyond kind. Never have I found an office with people as friendly as the people at Dr. Tabata’s. Dr. Tabata is the number one orthodontist for many reasons. He is kind, caring, and professional and everyone who goes to his office will be in amazing hands.

I love Dr. Tabata and his staff.  My son has braces with Dr. Tabata and the level of care and service we recieve is 5 diamond status.  Great pricing and no one is a stranger.  It’s like being in an office with Family!!! We fly from Dallas to California just because this is the greatest dentist in the world. I reccommend no other Orthodontist other than Dr. Tabata!
