Dr. Choules Was my first employer after completing my schooling for dental assisting. I Worked with him for about 3 years before I had to leave due to a move. I have worked in the field for over 30 years for many different dentists and Dr.Choules was the best dentist by far that I have ever worked for. His experience & knowledge of dentistry, his gentleness & chairside manner & are just a few of his qualities as a dentist. He is wonderful with children also! I now see Dr. Choules for all of my dental work . His staff Including dental hygienists, dental assistants and front office girls are all so friendly and caring. I have recommended many friends to his practice and will continue to do so. The employees at Choules Family Dentistry could not have been more pleasant and patient with me ( I went the wrong way!)when I was late. But more importantly Dr. Choules was very friendly, professional, gentle on my mouth and a good listener. He answered my questions honestly and I am confident gave me good advice. I doubt that I will ever go anywhere else for my general dental work in the future.

Dr. Choules is an excellent dentist! I’ve been a patient for 20+ years! Very professional! The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I actually enjoy going there! Not many people can say they enjoy going to the dentist… Beautiful office, fantastic staff, professional work, and a great atmosphere! I dread finding new dentists and, more importantly, hygienists. Here, the dentist or office manager know how to hire good people. The scheduler was friendly and answered my questions with an upbeat attitude. They’re open Monday-Thursday, 7- 4 M/W, and 7-2:30 T/TH. The dental assistant was great and warmed up once I told her I was nervous. She was very professional and proficient and talked me through one of the quickest x-ray experiences I’ve ever had. She stuck around and assisted with the exam when the dentist came in, which helped me relax a bit, and she also explained an option for my treatment plan – they seem to work well as a team. The dentist, Dr. Choules, is what you’d expect from a good family dentist – friendly, professional, easy going. Not intense at all and made everything seem like it was going to be okay. I feared that he’d find something wrong with my teeth and I’d have to have a full mouth transplant, but as it turned out I don’t need any work done. He recommended a minor tweak to my hygiene routine, but didn’t try to sell me anything. The hygienists (I’ve seen two here) are friendly and thorough. They seem to really care about my comfort and experience. I highly recommend this office.

We have been seeing Dr. Choules and his staff for a few years and have LOVED their office! I am very hesitant when it comes to “Letting dentists drill my teeth” but Dr. Choules has made me feel totally comfortable and I trust him and his hygienists completely! I highly recommend this office as a great option for your dental needs!

My fiance and I had our first appointments at this dentist office and have nothing but great things to say about it! We both saw Dr. Erskine who is young, very friendly and down to earth! He took time with each of us to talk about any problems we might be having and gave practical solutions. The hygienists were amazing – they were so nice and patient! I think that I had the best by far – there has never been a time that I have enjoyed going to the dentist, so this is a first!!! Also check out their website for biographies of the dentists – there are two and I hear that Dr. Choules is awesome as well!!! If you’re looking for a new dentist, definitely give them a try!

I completely recommend them to anyone. I was there today with my newborn son and my husband and I both needed to have work done. Not only were we seen 10 minutes before the appointment time but they said that they could see my husband early too…however we had the baby with us so we would need to go back one at a time so one of us could watch him…the staff said no problem however since he’s sleeping we don’t mind watching him while you get the x-rays done. Long story short the staff watched my sleeping son and we got out of there in no time…not to mention while he was still sleeping they fit me in for a cleaning at the same time! This is the best place and will keep coming back!

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Choules at Camelback Dentistry for 25+ years. From cleanings to braces, fillings to even bigger issues, we wouldn’t trust anyone else! Dr. Choules and his staff are honorable and trustworthy, guaranteeing their work. We have never had anything to complain about, always walking away happy and satisfied!

The staff is friendly, they took my insurance (I know, I know, that’s mostly luck, but still) and my appointments have started exactly on time. I made it very clear I needed to be out in an hour to make it to work on time one day and they happily worked with my schedule. I’d be quick to recommend this group.

This is the best dental office I’ve been to in my entire life. Dr. Choules is friendly and was very thorough in answering any questions I had. Jeannie is incredible, she gave me the most comfortable cleaning I’ve ever had. And I am currently having orthodontic work done by Crystal who is fantastic. If you’re new to the area or on the lookout for a new dentist, do yourself a favor and give these guys your business.

I can’t say enough nice things about this office! Dr. Choules is such a great dentist and just a nice genuine guy. He’s extremely qualified, professional and so caring. The front office staff greets you with a smile and the hygienist take such pride and joy in delivering top notch care!! I always look forward to my apt’s w/this office.

I hadn’t been to the dentist in 5 years, and was incredibly anxious to come in for a cleaning. Every dentist I’ve ever been to has left me in pain for days, as I have incredibly sensitive teeth and just getting a cleaning is at best incredibly uncomfortable. However, I left Choules Family Dentistry having had a totally different experience: it didn’t hurt at all, and I really felt like the hygienist was very in tune with how I was feeling. I wish I could remember her name (I went a few months ago) because she was great, really personable and skilled. My actual experience with the dentist (not sure which one, I’m bad with names!) was brief and felt a little rushed, but I’m not taking off a star because leaving the office with my mouth feeling simply clean and happy instead of painful and bruised is so awesome. And he didn’t see much of concern in my mouth so I can’t blame him for not stopping to chat. And now I’m not scared of the dentist’s office, and will absolutely come back! They were super affordable, too, even though I don’t have dental insurance. Big bonus.

Great dentist!! I left my old dentist for very bad reasons and am so glad I tried this place. I’ve just gone for cleanings but they make you feel very comfortable. The entire staff is great and very friendly. I learned most of the staff is tenured which doesn’t surprise me. It’s a great atmosphere even for a dentist office and I would highly recommend them! My only complaint would be for covered parking.

We love this dentist office! I have had very bad luck and experiences with dentists and hygienists and this office made me feel comfortable. They are very knowledgeable if you have any questions and we’ve actually referred multiple people here for procedures like root canals, pulling teeth, fillings, and routine cleanings and all of them have loved it as much as we do.

The staff and the doctor are just the best. The ambience of the office when you arrive just makes you feel like family. Personable and actually concerned about your dental experience, answering questions patiently. Offering a bottle of water, cold or room temperature, when you arrive or leave. It’s so nice to know customer service and businesses that care still exist!

We have been patients of Dr Choules for well over 20 years and have recommended him and his amazing staff to anybody who asks. I first visited Dr Choules for a second opinion, shortly after moving to Phoenix. He became my #1 dentist! Jeannie is the best hygienist you could imagine. Nicole, Shannon and the rest of the staff are just as excellent. My husband and I will continue enthusiastically recommending them because of the excellent care, knowledge, ethics, standards, and service.

Dr. Choules and his entire staff are outstanding. My regular dentist remains in Chicago (snowbird), and I’ve had occasion to use Dr. Choules on three occasions for a veneer re-bond. He has squeezed me in in each instance, and the work was more competent than any previous dental experience. He will be my permanent dentist going forward.

The only dentist I will ever go to as long as they keep doing what they’re doing. They are fast, thorough and will always let you know what is the best course of action for your situation. Everyone from the front desk to Xray techs, hygienists and the Dr. Choules are extremely nice, professional and just wonderful! This is our third year with Dr. Choules and it has taken that edge off going to the dentist. My husband and I both love everything about it. Ps. their new office is super nice! Highly recommended!!

Outstanding professionals providing pleasant dental treatment and services. Staffs are polite, friendly and respectful. Both my wife and I have been Dr. Choules’ patients for over ten years. Dr. Choules is incredible, cause I did not feel any horrifying pain, others always told me about, while getting my wisdom tooth out and root canal, and during post surgery recovery. The office is equipped with high-tech equipment including digital X-rays and Oral Cancer Screening options for early detection. Did I mention, he is a great nature lover and an awesome photographer who captures breathtaking shots of nature? Visit his office and check out his photographic talents hanging on the walls. When you love your dentist and his team, then you know he is (they are) that good! Go Jeannie and Melissa, you guys rock, the two fantastic and awesome dental hygienists you will ever know.

Hi I went to Choules Family Dentistry Orthodontics this am! Just for a cleaning. The dental work went well but better yet the close family relationship was also as important and encouraging at a time when I of all people needed a bit of T L C. What a fine group! Love this practice! One time, I asked Dr. Choules to replace a filling because I was sure that was what I needed and he told me it was not necessary and the existing filling was still good. He was right and saved me money! He has always been honest, down to earth, friendly, and professional. The support staff are some of the nicest people I have ever met!.

I was so impressed with Dr. Choules – what a great human being and doctor. I had to have an emergency root canal and had never met him before. He said that he chooses to treat every patient like a family member and it really felt that way. Thank you, Dr. Choules and staff for making my root canal as enjoyable as a root canal can be. Everyone with and everything about this practice is totally en pointe! Front desk staff is friendly and efficient, the clinicians are warm, comforting and competent and Dr. Choules is a delight! I’ve been availing myself of regular dental care my entire life and have yet to experience a more pleasant practice than Choules Family Dentistry and Orthodontics!

No one likes going to the dentist but I can tell you the ENTIRE staff here is spectacular and truly cares about you as a human and your health. It had been over 10 years since going to a dentist and needless to say I was scared my first visit a few years ago. They are very attentive and do an awesome job of making sure you are informed throughout the entire process. We even moved about 45 minutes away and still see Dr. Choules and Genie (sp?). Their service is extra ordinary!

If you are someone who is scared of people coming at your mouth with sharp objects and dread going to the dentist for a simple teeth cleaning, this is the place for you. I have had a life long fear of the dentist, but something about this place made me feel like I was in kind, caring hands. Maybe it was the hygienist who had a ceiling covered with pictures of people’s dogs, talked to me about dogs nearly the entire time, and gave me great advice for stopping some decay from turning into a full blown cavity. Both she and Dr. Choules were very gentle when it came to placement of those uncomfortable x-Ray cardboard pieces, as well as any kind of poking or prodding. Please give this place a shot if you really need dental work and are too scared to go! (I’m sure it’s also a great option for people who enjoy the dentist, if they even exist.

We love Dr. Choules and his staff! When we first moved to Phoenix, it was really hard for me to find a dentist who I felt I could really trust! Dr. Choules completely fits that bill. I have always felt 100% comfortable in his chair, and he has been so great with my whole family! I feel like each time I see him, he dome something small to go above and beyond, which I really appreciate! I highly recommend him! I wouldn’t trust anyone else!

I moved here almost a year ago and had been looking for a dentist in the area. I liked what I saw in reviews and on their website, so I decided to give their office a try. I had been a patient of the same wonderful dentist my whole life so my expectations were high. I’m so happy to say, they have been met. From the ladies at the front desk, techs, hygienists and Dr. Choules himself… the sweetest, informative group of people. I am so happy I have chosen this place as my new dentist it’s super neat because he is a also an orthodontist so I had a retainer made for me which was very convenient. would highly recommend to anyone!

I’ve been coming here since I got my braces on 15 years ago and have recommended it to many people. The staff is so friendly and the dental hygienists do a great job. I’ve had all sorts of dental work here and they have made every experience a positive one. They listen and answer all questions I may have and they make sure that I am comfortable throughout the appointment. As long as I am in Phoenix, I will always come here for my dental work.

I have been receiving dental treatment services from Dr. Choules office for nearly 18 years. I have to say Dr. Choules office is extremely professional . Everyone takes care of patient’s needs. Unfortunately, I had an insurance change and Dr. Choules’ office no longer accepts my insurance…when they called to remind me it was time to schedule an appointment, I let them know of the change. They told me they were sorry to lose me as a patient, but to please be sure to get my dental records from them when I had time so I could bring them to my new dentist. It’s nice when an establishment still stays classy even when they lose your business. I wish circumstances were different and I was able to still see Dr. Choules. I will definitely return if my carrier changes again!

I have had a lot of work done by Dr Choules and his team, sent my kids to see him and what I really appreciate is the kindness, genuine concern about patients and what is in the patients best interest, which sadly is not true everywhere. The Hygienists are outstanding and the front desk awesome, even calling 30 minutes before my appointment to tell me they were running 10 mins late, and they were running exactly 10 mins late, impressive.

My family is so happy to go to Dr. Choules for their dentist. We also love the ladies who clean our teeth. They go out of their way to make sure we are comfortable and so professional. We have been going there for years and for about a year had to go to someone else because of insurance issues. We are so glad to be back!

After so many years of not visiting the dentist, because let’s be honest, I hate going to the dentist but I have to say my visit went amazing! All staff are extremely friendly and inviting. Jeanie the dental hygienist was the best I’ve ever had EVER. Dr. Choules is soo gentle and incredible. I love this office. Also new location is a major upgrade! I no longer hate going to the dentist.

Excellent dentist. The staff is the most friendly and helpful that I have ever encountered. They have a good dental plan that you can buy. When I retired and lost my company insurance and wondered how I would be able to get the dental care for had my whole life. Obviously, the insurance is not the same as what I had before but what I have with Dr. Choules is good and I didn’t have to change dentists.
