I had the best possible experience a person can have at a Dentist office. Easily 5 stars… My last visit to a dentist office was just plain awful and scary. So I was a bit anxious and apprehensive, but I ended up leaving with a smile on my face. The staff here are top notch professionals. They are friendly and thoughtful and made me feel completely comfortable. Jan took me back to an exam room and had me laughing and feeling right at ease. Which is pretty important in a typically unpleasant place (who likes getting their mouth poked?). She was just a wonderful and nice woman. Then in comes Dr. Howard Farran, who had me rolling right from the get go. So funny and super knowledgeable! He seemed to take a genuine interest in my visit and made me feel like I came to the right place. I actually learned quite a bit just from talking with him. He explained all my options and his recommendations. No pressure or up-selling. Great guy. Great Doctor. I’ll be back in a couple weeks… and dare I say I’m actually looking forward to my next visit.

Highly recommend their quality work I’ve had my 1st and 2nd wisdom tooth extractions with them, I have anxiety and they made me feel so much better about it I drive all the way from tolleson to them in ahwatukee so that says something ^

The staff and doctors are awesome. They explain everything that they are going to do which helps make me be less nervous. I was having extra sensitivity to a tooth that had been worked on and they fit me in that day so the doc could take a look at it. He explained to me in terms I could understand. So I haven’t been to the dentist since I got my braces taken off in 9th grade 10 years ago lol. After reading the horrific reviews on Yelp of local dentist offices in my area I pretty much had no intention of going. I drive by Today’s Dental pretty much every day and I decided to give it one last shot and look up their reviews, to my surprise they were really great so I made an appointment. I had the earliest appt available and I was happily greeted with a cheery welcome which is greatly appreciated considering how early it was. The entire staff was so nice and friendly I even got a tour of the place. I haven’t been to the dentist in 10 years they could have lied to me and said I had all kinds of issues and charged me a bunch of money instead the dentist told me I had freaking awesome teeth and all I needed was a basic cleaning!! I will definitely be coming back here for all my dental work. They really know customer service thank you!!

I’ve been seen at Today’s Dental for many years. Staff are always quick to greet, are knowledgeable with few changes over time. I’ve needed multiple crowns due to childhood dental issues. They’ve always been willing to discuss the multiple options available and answer questions to let me make the best choice for me. Definitely recommend! Now w COVID-19, dental work is a bit scarey. I had an appt today and was very pleased w/ the extensive safety measures they’ve implemented.

I just went here for my first visit and I really like the place. Everything was super easy and fast. They had ran all my insurance info before I got there so I know how much everything in the future is going to cost. I can not say enough good about Today’s Dental. I was told by a dentist in Utah all my teeth needed to be pulled. The dentists I saw were not friendly or gentle. I would rather have a root canal than have my teeth cleaned. We were going to Phoenix and it was suggested that I make an appointment at Today’s Dental for a second opinion. Needless to say I was very nervous. The minute I walked in I was greeted by Valerie. Her smile,warmth and loving tone made me feel at easy. Check in was so easy,I did it online ahead of time. When I got in the chair for the xrays, the lady (so sorry, can’t remember her name) explained everything she was doing and was so pleasant. We had a very friendly conversation. I was very much at easy. Dr Howard Farran, the owner, saw me personally. I think that is above and beyond all expectations of a Dental office. This man is fantastic. He reviewed the xrays, checked my teeth and called in his hygienist. They explained all options open to me. The pro’s and con’s. They did not tell me what I was going to do, they left it up to me. With Dr. Farran and Brandy’s helpful advice, which was they thought my upper teeth could be saved. We proceeded with that treatment. Do to my short visit in Phoenix, they bent over more than backwards to accommodate my schedule. My lower teeth were pulled that day, and arrangements were made for a deep cleaning that week. Dawn, the office manager,came out and sat with me, she could feel I was nervous about the cleaning. She explained, I could have a nitrous gas to relax me. She explained every detail of what it did and how it was used. She went out of her way to arrange schedules, order things for me, keeping me informed every step of the way. I feel as if I have a new best friend. And now the dreaded and feared cleaning. OH MY GOSH !!!!! Jamie did such an amazing job- nothing and I mean nothing hurt. Like the others she explained everything she was doing during the cleaning and the after care,and gave me written instructions and supplies. I got follow up calls and emails. Again, I can not rave enough about Today’s Dental. I know it was worth the 600 mile drive. I will be going back for all my dental needs.

Not at Today’s Dental !!!!! NOTHING hurt, Jamie did an amazing job. The after care is just as terrific. Dawn, the office manager, made me feel so comfortable. I feel as if I have a new best friend. She bent over backwards, more than once to make sure I got all the needed work done in the week I was there. These people are amazing !! I will return, again and again. And yes, it is a 600 mile trip one way— WELL WORTH IT

At your first visit, we will review your medical records, take x-rays, create an individual treatment plan for you and answer any questions you may have. Dr. Howard Farran earned his dental degree from the University of Missouri School of Dentistry in Kansas City. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University and has achieved Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry. His other memberships include the American Dental Association and the Arizona Dental Association. Dr. Farran has achieved high acclaim over the years. He was named Alumni of the Year by the University of Missouri and Dentist of the Year by Arizona Public Health. In addition, he was given the Arizona Award by the Arizona State Dental Association for outstanding contributions made to the profession of dentistry because of his efforts to fluoridate the water of Phoenix. Dr. Farran is a distinguished professional speaker, educating dental professionals all over the world. When he isn’t learning about new treatment options for restoring and preventing worn teeth, he enjoys spending his spare time with his four wonderful sons.
