Is it weird that I’ve wanted to review this place since I started coming here nearly two years ago? First of all, staff is awesome. Incredibly kind, knowledgeable and honest. All my life I’ve been told by dentists and hygienists that since my gums bleed when I floss, I’m doing it wrong or not well enough. I’ve always felt sheepish and bad about it, definitely never contesting the professions’ opinions. Then I had the courage at Broadway to dive a little deeper and ask, if I’m flossing regularly, why is it still a problem? One of the hygienists, Audrey, took the time to explain how wider health practices such as dietary choices affect our teeth and gums. Seems obvious but I never realized! I feel like since then, I’ve become way more mindful about my daily dental care. Aside from feeling like I can learn a thing or two from my dentist, I’m appreciative of their transparency with cost as well. Be it teeth cleanings or the two times I’ve had light dental work done, every time they are real about the cost.

I love Audrey at Broadway Dental Care. She is the absolute sweetest, most enthusiastic, and best dental hygienists I’ve ever seen. Not only does she do excellent work, she remembers you personally – as if you saw her yesterday rather than 6 months ago for a cleaning. I highly recommend her and Broadway Dental Care!

This place definitely deserves five stars. All the staff I interacted with were charming, patient and compassionate. The cleaning and check-up was efficient and thorough, while still feeling very affordable. What more can I say except that I found my dental center and I will recommend to all my family and friends!

I’ve been going here for maybe 10 years now, and I can’t say enough good things about it.  Every member of the staff who I’ve encountered over that time has been accommodating, patient, and friendly. I actually look forward to going to the dentist, as weird as that might sound, because I usually have a great time.  Dr. Hoang does great work.  I can’t speak to how competitive their pricing is because I’ve never felt compelled to look elsewhere.  Very highly recommended!

Broadway dental care has a very good team. Everyone is friendly , professional, and make You feel welcome here. I got to work with Dr. Hoang and Audrey, and they are dedicated, thoughtful, and thorough in the way they work. My family has been to this place for years now and we never plan to switch out. Highly recommended!

Always have a great experience (or as much as one can expect from the dentist) here. Audrey who’s the hygienist is super personable and does a great job within in pain infliction. The orthodontist is really patient as well and they have state of the art equipment, always nice to know you won’t get an infection from dirty tools. The front desk staff, especially Tracy, are really on top of things and easy to reschedule with and answers questions in a manner that tells you they enjoy and care about providing top notch customer service. I’m a regular here for good reason!

I second what Alondra said. Dr. Huong and his staff give you OPTIONS; he is conservative in his approach, and will never do a procedure just to stiff you. He is friendly, incredibly patient, and personable. I have severe dry mouth due to medications I take, which causes most of my dental problems, and he was very helpful in suggesting OTC and RX solutions. And his staff is fabulous, too. I wish I could remember what his hygienist’s name is (Audrey?) , but she is so much fun! It is almost like having your hair done and chatting with your stylist. But with rivets of water pouring in your mouth. Nonetheless, excellent. The dental assistant was a sweet woman, too. There was a billing mistake (I have really crappy insurance) and my insurance wouldn’t cover a procedure that the front staff (also incredible!) said they would–but they did not bill me for it. I have a disability that makes it really difficult for me to get to appointments, and rescheduled multiple times, but Tracey et al. were SO understanding–never made me feel guilty or anything. I need to book another appointment for a cleaning–there are externals involved, but as far as going to Broadway Dental, I have no issues whatsoever. Fabulous people, who seem to really care. And it is VERY easy to get in; they are accommodating of your schedule and your needs. Sometimes, when you have special needs you are treated like a pariah, a “difficult patient,” despite your best efforts and attempts to placate the staff. It can make you feel really bad. But Broadway Dental has never, ever condescended to me, or in any way treated me differently than another patient. I applaud them for their service to the disabled community. Tracey, Dr. Huong, et al. really get it, and I am so thankful to feel comfortable at their clinic.

This is a great dentist office! Friendly/knowledgeable staff. Dana is a fantastic dental hygienist (years of experience and friendly!) Tracy the receptionist is great and even pronounces my name correctly lol I would recommend this dental office to anyone who’s looking for a clean/friendly/knowledgeable staff to help them take care of their mouth/teeth!

I have had good experiences at dentists and I have had terrible. Dr. Hoang and his staff are terrific. I was able to get an appointment very quickly and everyone there was awesome- always gentle and really explained everything- I really feel like they actually taught me something about caring for my teeth- something that no other dentist had ever bothered to tell me! And if they had I would probably not be stuck deciding between a filling and a crown now!! So I really appreciate the time they took with me to explain things. Also, as someone else mentioned, they will bleach your teeth free for life (custom trays made for you AND they give you a tube of the whitening stuff every 6 months when you come in for your cleaning/checkup) if you refer someone, otherwise it’s $150. So basically I will refer my husband and even though he probably won’t refer anyone, it will cost us $75/person to keep our teeth bleached for as long as we go to this dentist. Which will be as long as we live in Portland, that’s for sure. Highly recommended!!

I have been going to Dr. Hoang for nearly eight years, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about him and his assistants.  My care has been outstanding:  lovely people; good needle hand (key for me); can fit you in in an emergency; never a problem (and this is after multiple crowns and fillings; my teeth are a challenge).  If you’re shopping for dental care, please give them a try.
