My family and I have been using Dr. Rankin for 30 years. He is the BEST dentist I have ever had. He is conservative with procedures, choosing to do the least intrusive options first to see if that addresses the problem, which always been the case unless it was something significant like an abscessed tooth or split root on a tooth with an old root canal. Yes these things can happen and it is the result of a dead tooth being brittle. He has referred me to endodontists when root canals are needed. I have recommended several friends there and have heard only positive feedback. The staff are wonderful people!! They couldn’t be nicer. You can’t go wrong with this team

First time to go here. Got the referral from my dad who is a patient. After not having been to the dentist for over 2 years they were great. Dr Rankin was very honest and informative as well as my hygienist Susan. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Dr. Rankin is the best Dentist out there.  He is my childhood dentist and I went back to him even though their office is far from my house.  I had a bad experience with another dentist who said I needed a root canel.  I didn’t think I needed one so I went to three other dentists who all said I don’t see what is causing your pain.  One who was a Endodontist.  So as a last resort they fit me in right away and he took one look at it and said I know what your problem is.  Your bite is too high.  You don’t need a root canel at all.  So he filled down the filling that was done by the other dentist.  He also asked me if I have trouble flossing my teeth back there.  I said yes how did you know?  He said the fillings are too close together.  Before I thought I had gum problems but he fixed it within seconds.  I made a latter appointment to fix my front teeth also from the other dentist who filled them down so thin that Dr. Rankin and I could see his finger behind them.  He fixed them with bonding and it looks like my normal teeth again.  He recommended that I go to an orthodontist to straighten my teeth out.  After I did that I had no more teeth problems.

I hate going to the dentist, but I love Dr. Rankin and staff. Dr. Rankin explains everything in detail and always tells me what to expect – which goes a long way to minimize the dental anxiety factor. Even though they are no longer on my dental insurance network, I continue to go because they are that good.
