I had the pleasure of visiting Dr. McNay’s office on 7/1/2016. I was first greeted by the Front Office Coordinator Janell; let me say she is awesome. She was full of life at 6:45 a.m. in the morning and she set the tone for the rest of my time at the office. Everyone was super friendly, especially the Hygienist. I wish I remembered her name because she was great. I love the fact that they did not try to nickel and dime me like other dental offices. They were straight to point of what needed to be done nothing extra. I will be recommending this place to my peers.

You are in GREAT hands with Dr. McNay and the wonderful staff at Restoration Dental.  I hadn’t been to the dentist in at least three years (probably 4) and was pretty nervous about my visit – but from the moment I walked in the door, I knew I was going to be okay.  I felt that my comfort was one of their top priorities, and what I was sure to be a long and painful cleaning process turned out to be just the opposite. The exam was thorough – and no scare tactics!  Just simple, straightforward information.  The cleaning was thorough too.  Dr. McNay took his time to make sure that he got all of the tough spots.  I’ve never been so comfortable in a dentist’s chair, and I’m actually looking forward to my next visit.  I highly recommend Restoration Dental.

I found Dr. McNay with Restoration Dental years ago when I moved to the Brookhaven area. Shortly after moving to Atlanta I had a horrible dental experience and due to not wanting to make the same mistake it took me a while to find a Dentist I felt I could trust would do a good job. Thanks to Yelp and the plethora of 5 star reviews I knew this would be a good place to try for my dental needs. I have been coming to Dr. McNay every 6 months for the past 6 years. Upon arriving for each visit I’m greeted every time by an amicable front office Manger. The entire office including the lobby is nicely decorated, there is a rustic feel to it, you can tell a lot of thought was put into the ambiance. They have all the latest equipment, and the office is very clean. There is a television above each dental chair so the patients can watch anything they choose to during their visit. I personally love to watch Ted Talks while I am there, the programs relax me and keeps my mind off of what is being done in my mouth. Typically, within 5 minutes of arriving I am called back for my appointment. All of the Dental Hygienist that I’ve encountered have been friendly. Dr. McNay is personable and has a gregarious personality. He talks the entire time he is working on my mouth, often having me wanting to burst out laughing. I actually enjoy my dental visits here. If you are in the need for a good Dentist look no further. Dr. McNay and his staff are awesome.

A dutiful and dedicated Dentist and staff to say the least! Dr. David and his team are so caring and concise that they have me EXCITED to go to my dental appointments! The office is conveniently located in Brookhaven right near Haven & Valenza so parking is never a problem. The office decor and technology is top notch; you can even watch TV while they preen your pearly whites! Gretchen was my hygienist and was not only detailed but gracious and so kind! She was fast yet thourough and explained to me what she was doing throughout the process which I really like! Dr. David is personable, professional and won’t steer you wrong in treatment options. I hate dentists. I’m going to put that out there now. I’ve always hated dentists and going to dental offices. BUT, I love Restoration Dental. They’re the one dentist I’ve ever felt even semi comfortable at. Dr. McNay is the best dentist I’ve ever personally been to. I’m comfortable around him and his staff and they do excellent work. They always make sure you are comfortable with the procedures that are being done and they work very well with your insurance to make the prices extremely affordable for you. Dr. McNay also has a wonderful sense of humor and really makes you feel like you’ve got someone who is family working on your teeth. 5 stars. Thank you for being the first dental office that I actually love.

I had a great visit to Dr. McNay’s office. To start, the front office staff was friendly and polite. The dental assistant was very professional, made sure I was comfortable after seating me, and asked me how I was doing as she took the x-rays. Dr. McNay had a great demeanor, especially considering it was 7:00am in the morning. He was attentive and conversational during the introduction, but also very professional as he completed the exam and diagnosed the problem. I have been to many dental offices, but this is the first one where copies of the x-rays were blown up on a big screen for me to view, which is a testament to the transparency of Dr. McNay’s practice. After Dr. McNay completed his assessment and issued his recommendations, the assistant seamlessly booked my next appointment, and I was on my way after a cheerful goodbye from the front office staff. Overall, it was a great experience; I highly recommend this practice.

If you are looking for a Dentist who’s main concerns are your comfort and appearance, Dr McNay is your Dentist. Do you want a very like able personality? Dr. McNay is your Dentist.  I have been continually impressed with his abilities and willingness to do what needed to be done. Some dentists just do the easy quick work and refer all else to a “specialist” who charges MUCH more. Dr. McNay will be your dentist for life if you ever try him. His office is nice, the staff is friendly efficient and the atmosphere is un-hurried and personal. I highly reccomend Restoration Dental and Dr. McNay

I was in need of a dentist badly.  I’ve lived in ATL for ten years since transferring from Nashville and have not had a good experience  finding a dentist.  I was experiencing major teeth pain and decided to check the internet in the Buckhead/Brookhaven area.  There was only one dentist that had a 5-Star rating.  I call Dr McNay’s office number but the office was closed .  A recording provided a number to text Dr McNay with my problem.  Dr McNay immediately replied and called my pharmacist in an antibiotic and texted he could see me on Wednesday. I called his office Wednesday morning and was able to be seen that afternoon.  After x-rays, I was told I needed two root canals.  Dr McNay was gracious enough to provide me with two options, either have them performed that day between his other clients or come back on Friday (the office was closed) to perform the two root canals.  I elected to come back Friday.  Upon arriving, Dr McNay and his staff were just finishing a team orientation meeting.  I was escorted to a room to perform the two root canals.  Dr McNay and his dental assistant were first class.  I’ve never had a better experience having a dental service performed.  I am to return in a month to finalize my root canals.  I cannot say enough how wonderful this Dentist and staff are.  I can honestly say I have finally found a new Dentist for my family.  Dr McNay even texted the next day to follow up on how I was feeling.

I wish I had found this dentist office so long ago! Dr. McNay is awesome. Just awesome. I have been going to different dentists my whole life because I’ve just never felt comfortable with any of the dentists I’ve been to. I am a BIG baby when it comes to dentist and doctor visits. I found restoration dental after calling around to a few different dentist offices to get a second opinion. I was told I needed some fillings and a crown done. I called and Janell was very assistive throughout the process and scheduled a free consultation for me to see if I actually needed all this work done. I had my X-rays sent over and after having Dr. McNay look over everything it turned out I didn’t need the (very expensive) crown I was told I needed by a different dentist. He explained everything very clearly to me and it was very obvious he had my best interest at heart, both medically and financially. I went in today and had my fillings done and it was almost painless! That never happens for me. I have always had some sort of “water works” when I had fillings done in the past, but not a single tear this time! (I wasn’t kidding when I said I am a big baby.) He talked to me throughout the whole process and made sure I felt as comfortable as I could possibly be while getting fillings done. All the staff was pretty awesome, too. I never thought I would like a dentist office so much. The inside is beautiful too and it’s nice that they have a tv in each dentist chair for you to watch. I liked being able to be distracted while they were working on my mouth.

I’m driving up north from Miami as I’m relocating. En route, my crown came off which left my tooth extremely sensitive. After calling about 20 odd dentist offices, very lucky to find that they were willing to accommodate me on an emergency basis at a few hours notice. The office was spacious and wonderfully done, the staff was extremely courteous and accommodating. Dr. McNay was terrific. A hundred stars if I could rate that!

After a long internet search to find a great dentist, I found Restoration Dental to be the best rated. I live in Suwanee, GA so it’s a 45 minute drive from where I live. I absolutely hate traffic but I could not find a dentist in my area that compared to this office. This dental office is out of network for my insurance but I don’t care. I have a good insurance that will still pay a certain percentage and we pay the difference. It’s a lesser amount than if I found a dentist in my network but it’s worth it to me when it comes to our teeth. So, I took my daughter and son last week. Then, my oldest son and I had a cleaning done today. When I say that this was the best experience ever, you can’t even imagine. You will have to see for yourself. Yes, the office is clean. Yes, the staff are amazing. Yes, they are taking strict COVID precautions. But what I really liked is how I did not feel an anxiety. I was immediately made to feel like I was special. The hygienist was thorough in making sure that I had no plaque left on my teeth and explained the entire procedure. Then, Dr. McNay came in and double checked my teeth and worked his magic. He is funny but very skilled. He explained everything for my future visit. I would rather drive 45 minutes in traffic to have pretty teeth than to drive 10 minutes to a dentist in my neighborhood and be disappointed. I’ve had too many of those in the past. My husband is going to get his cleaning on Wednesday. I am being completely honest when I say you will not be disappointed. Sorry so long. I could say more but it’s best that you find out for yourself.

I discovered Dr. Dave a couple years ago when I’ve just about had it with my old dental practice. I had the worst experience to couples of other places. Trust was broken, tears were shed and I thought this was going to be yet another disappointment. To my utter surprise from my very first appointment until now, it has been one of the most delightful experiences. At first, I waited and waited and waited. For what you ask? For the other shoe to drop!! Never happened. So now I actually look forward to go to the dentist now. They take care of you from the moment you walk in until you leave. They make sure you are most comfortable and if you’re not, they wont stop until you are. And as If thats not enough, they give you a cool goody bag every time! Thank you Dr. Dave and Team! This will always be my dentist as long as I’m in Atlanta. And if i have to move to some other city or state, i guess I must simply find a way.

Surprise surprise, another 5 star review. Called Dr. McNay’s office yesterday at 9:00 a.m. because I needed an emergency extraction and was under a lot of pain. Janell (did I spell that right?) listened to my little dilemma without interrupting and told me they could take me in at 1:30 p.m. I went in and explained my situation. Unlike most offices, I did not feel that I was being judged for my current dental health nor financial constraints, but rather accommodated to whatever was necessary and possible in order to get the problem solved. This means so much to me as someone who is serious about restoring her dental health, but is also not rich and mostly, was in a whole lotta pain. I would like to note that Dr. McNay is a sweetheart and funny, but all that is irrelevant to me as a patient if we’re being honest. To me, the most important thing is professionalism (which he had in spades), compassion, and that he did the job right, quickly, and with minimal pain. An extraction without sedation can sometimes be tricky but I felt absolutely nothing. Also, I paid half of what my other dentist had quoted. Hello! Cannot recommend this place enough and most certainly will be returning. I have also told my boyfriend who will be coming here for some fillings. THRILLED. Also, it doesn’t hurt that the office is adorable, there’s free parking, and the assistants are nice. Thank you, thank you, thank you! 🙂

The first time I went to Dr McNay and Restoration Dental it was because of a cracked tooth.  It happened on a Friday afternoon right around 5pm.  I called the nearest dentist and lucked out with these guys.  Janell (the office manager) and Dr McNay offered to stay late past closing time to fit me in. What a life saver! Later on I found out that both were heading out of town for vacations that afternoon but STILL had volunteered to stay later just to help me out.   The doc is kind and funny and work wells with dentistry cowards such as myself. Janell and the rest of the staff are great people. I’m happy to have found this place and as long as they and I are in Atlanta, thats where I’ll be going! I’ve already referred two other people to his practice and they’ve also both commented that this is the only place they’ll go from now on. I’ve been there for procedures with and without insurance.  Under both circumstances the prices seemed very reasonable and the quality of work was excellent. The doc has also advised for cheaper procedures (a cap or filling) when I was clearly expecting something much more expensive (a root canal) and I appreciate that.

I love everyone at this office! Always kind always punctual always excellent care. I found Dr McNay several years ago after moving to Atlanta and visiting a dentist that told me I needed a ton of work done which was a total shock for me because I go to the dentist faithfully every 6 months and all of a sudden there’s all these things that I need. I didn’t trust it so I sought out a second opinion. Just as suspected I did not need any of those things. Dr McNay is not overly aggressive in his treatment style and always seeks to save your teeth not yank them out or drill unnecessarily. He’s great with the needle too…literally only the little peach that everyone promises and he takes his time and lets it take effect before getting started instead of pumping you up with extra so he can get right to work. PS he’s also hilarious! Ok I think you guys get the picture now! Best dentist ever! I send all my friends and family!

If you’re looking for a great dentist with an awesome staff and a beautiful office, look no further! I was beyond impressed with the personal experience I had, and I can honestly say I am looking forward to my next dental visit here. From the moment I walked in the office, I was greeted warmly by Jannelle, and I felt like I was an important guest. My insurance coverage was clearly explained so I had no surprises as to what to expect in terms of a bill. Kendra was my hygienist, and she was so gentle. When she told me I was done with my cleaning, I was kind of shocked because I hadn’t experienced any pain yet! Isn’t going to the dentist supposed to be a little painful? Not here! All of the equipment used in Dr. McNay’s office is super high tech, so I guarantee you will never look at other dental offices the same way again. Dr. McNay was fantastic. He has a great sense of humor, and his “chair-side” manner can’t be beat. He explained everything that he was doing very well and made me feel very comfortable even while getting a filling. I will be sure to return to him for all of my dental needs.
