Just had my routine cleaning and checkup. As always the visit was both professional and pleasant. Visit started right on time, staff is outstanding and friendly. DDS Frankfurt never appears to be in a hurry and takes his time to review the visit results. Dr. Frankfurt listen to you and explain in a simple english what procedures needs to be done in your mouth and why, also he tells you which one are priority and which one can wait. Employees are very professional and friendly. Hygienist is excellent, gave me several options on how to improve my dental health and best products I can use with budget in mind. I would highly recommend them to anyone that wants excellent service.

Most people don’t like going to the dentist, but Dr. Frankfurth and the whole crew make it so easy and painless. They can even understand me when I gurgle! LOL. Regina is the best hygienist and I look forward to seeing her. Dr. Frankfurth is easy going and gives me praise for taking care of my teeth! The office is clean and modern, a nice place to be. Thanks everyone for creating a pleasant atmosphere and positive experiences.

I have a patient for over ten years. I have always received quality dental care. The staff are all friendly and highly professional. The offices and exam rooms are clean and inviting. My family and I have been seeing Dr. Frankfurth since 2005. We have always been pleased with the short wait times (sometimes getting called back before we even sit down!) and the quality of the service provided is exceptional. Everyone is very friendly and obviously knows how to do their job and do it well.

I have been a patient of Dr. Frankfurth for over 10 years. While I am fortunate to have the choice to go to any dentist in the Tampa area, I would not even think to place the care of my oral health in the hands/office of any other dentist. Even though prior to this year Dr. Frankfurth was NOT in my insurance network and therefore I had a higher co-pay, I continued going to Dr. Frankfurth due to the exceptional level of quality care Dr. Frankfurth and his office team provides. A visit to Gentle Care Dentistry starts with the friendly and professional office staff, the “gentle” hygienists and dental assistants, and being engulfed in a clean and calm dental office environment. I cannot imagine anyone trusting the care of their oral health to any other dentist. Going to the dentist is not a visit that most folks jump for joy over, but when you have to choose a dentist – I highly recommend Dr. Frankfurth at Gentle Care Dentistry. Unlike other dentists in the area, Dr. Frankfurth is part of the larger community. He doesn’t just have an office in the area and lives somewhere else, he IS actively involved in the community. When he makes a recommendation for a procedure or products, he provides detailed information that allows his patients to be comfortable with the choice they make. I tend to ask a lot of questions LOL and each time over the years, Dr. Frankfurth takes the time to patiently answer all my questions to my satisfaction. You never feel rushed during your visit. Once my daughter graduates from her pediatric dentist – guess where she’ll be going for dental oral care? Yep….. Dr. Frankfurth and the amazing dental team at Gentle Care Dentistry!!!!! P.S. Let’s just say with a full mouth of teeth, my 6-month teeth cleaning visits are never less than an hour. 🙂

Love the technology, saw my teeth in ways I’ve never seen before. Dr Frankfurth was very thorough and took the time to explain everything to me and present me with my options. Then it was onto the hygienist for the cleaning who was also very thorough and gave me some tips on keeping my mouth healthy. I go back this coming Monday for some fillings which will be the big test because I am a wuss when it comes to having that done and have had some bad experiences in the past, so we will see how that goes and I will update this post.

Wonderful and calming experience from the fist call to the office talking to Ann Maria, to taking x-rays with Beata, talking to Dr. Frankfurth, and the best dental hygienist EVER Gina. I am a terrible dentist person, from anxiety, nausea, hyperventilating, you name it, I have been there. This visit made me smile all the way home because I was very happy to have found a home for all matters dental.

My experience was top notch. Dr Frankfurth took the time to explain all my options and removed my fears of getting an upper jaw implant. Kim the dental hygienist was so thorough and careful I let her know it was the first time ever I left without pain. My wife will start going there on her next appointment

After graduating from USF and deciding to stay in the Tampa area, I did some research on various dentists in New Tampa. I have also been to several other dentists and these guys were so ‘gentle’ I didn’t even feel the cleaning. This was a wonderful experience from the horror I had as a child. Wish I had these guys around then! Love them and their staff!

Dr. Frankfurth is an outstanding dentist and I recommend him highly. He was able to diagnose a problem that had baffled another dentist, and resolve it. He provides clear and detailed explanations, with some interesting analogies, and I’ve always been happy with the outcomes of the procedures he’s performed. He listens carefully. The receptionists and dental assistants are friendly and competent and Regina is a great hygienist, personable and conscientious. The other hygienist, Kim, is excellent as well. Also, I’ve always been seen immediately, even when arriving very early.

Been going to Dr Frankfurth/Gentle Dentistry since I moved to Florida is 2002. He’s amazing and gets whatever you need done with very little pain which is why I think most people avoid the dentist. Kim who has been cleaning my teeth for almost as long is fantastic. My wife who used to drive to south tampa because it was the only dentist she liked switched to Gentle care Dr Frankfurth/Kim and after one visit she switched.

I am a relatively new patient to this office and I have had two extremely pleasant, yes I said pleasant, visits at this office. My first was for an exam and cleaning and I was very pleased with the hygienist. My second visit was a result of a broken tooth. I left a message in the evening and they called me first thing in the morning and got me in right away. Dr Frankfurth is very friendly and thorough. I am so please with this office and would recommend them to anyone looking for a clean, efficient and friendly dentist office. (I also need to get my husband to go whose name is on this review)

His professional evaluation and treatments have been successful I’ve called him in emergencies and he has always seen me. I continue too see Dr Frankfurth and would highly recommend his services.

Regina, the dental hygienist at Gentle Care Dentistry actually rates ten stars even though five stars is the maximum this site allows. She is Super when it comes to cleaning teeth. She should be teaching “Gentle Hygiene”! The good doctor ain’t bad either! (Actually, Dr. Thomas J Frankfurth deserves ten stars of his own as he is the best I’ve ever been to!) I have been going to Dr. Frankfurth since I moved to Florida 7 years ago. Right from the start I felt very comfortable. All through the many dental issues I have experienced, Dr. Frankfurth and his wonderful staff have been there to help. Appointments are made expeditiously. If a referral is necessary, you can be assured that the specialist you will see is as professional and caring as Dr. Frankfurth. They truly do live up to their name; Gentle Care Dentistry!

Tom Frankfurth and his staff are simply the best! Every time I go, they are right on time to get you in and out quickly. Tom is an absolute master at his craft. He identifies and fixes problems fast and painlessly. His staff are all polite, knowledgeable and skilled. I wish I could give him 6 stars but it only goes to 5 so he gets that!

For several years I lived with an awkward front crown tooth. It was too thick and too wide and the color was a bit off. I never felt comfortable smiling. I’ve already been impressed with Dr. Frankfurth and his team. They’ve done my cleaning and teeth whitening. I talked to the doctor about my concerns with my front tooth. He explained to me all my options, including what my insurance will cover. Each time I go to their office for my appointments, I never ever have to wait. They are so good about honoring your appointment time. This is a rarity! I finally got my new front crown yesterday and I am more than pleased. I’m ecstatic and I can’t stop smiling! It looks so real, blends well with my other front tooth. The size, shape and color is perfect. Again Dr. Frankfurt and his team nailed it!!! I feel so blessed to have Dr. Frankfurt as my Dentist.

Going to the dentist is never fun.  However, the staff at Gentle Care Dentistry, and Dr. Thomas Frankfurth, will quickly subdue those feelings with their kind and compassionate attention to you as a friend and patient.  He has several dental hygienists to select from, and all of them excellent.  If you are considering a move to a new dentist, my wife and I highly recommend Dr. Frankfurth and Gentle Care Dentistry.

All of the team there understands your needs (anxiety) about going to the dentist. I work for a pediatric dentist and we succeed at changing that perception but for the past generations, we still have reservations. Brenda at the front desk knows this about me so she gave me an immediate appt. for treatment, knowing I would procrastinate if not. Hygienist Regina stopped in to check on me, remembering the special touches I need before the procedure. Assistant Biata held my hand during my GENTLE injection. I don’t like the drill sound so I wear headphones to muffle the sound. They were very accommodating by using visual commands. Dr. Frankfurth was very informative and patient with my grown baby acting self so I know I’ll always be in good hands. Thank you so much for everything!!❤❤ (see comments)

My wife and I have been receiving excellent dental care from Dr Frankfurth since July 2009. He has proven to be very skilled and reliable over the years and we would highly recommend him and his practice. His assistants are likewise very caring and excel at being friendly. They have made our visits as enjoyable as possible. It’s hard to find great professionals like these and it gives us peace of mind knowing we are in good hands with Dr Frankfurth and his staff!

Been going for years. Hands down the best practice I’ve ever been to. Not only does Dr. Frankfurth have an amazing demeanor with his patients…he is an absolute professional. He has been in his craft for quite some time and embraces technology to make the experience even better. Bottom line…over the years he has not remained complacent. It’s clear to me that he is passionate about his career and those that he serves. I’d recommend him to anyone without hesitation.

I have been a patient here now for about the last 3 or 4 years. Best dental office I have found while living in Tampa! They are always very accomadating and unecessary work will never be suggested. If Dr. Frankfurth says you need a cavity filled or a crown trust me you do! He’s a great Dentist! Also Regina is a great hygentist always remembers bubble gum flavor for me when I go for a cleaning. The office staff is also very accomadating and understanding . Thanks for making getting your teeth cleaned an easy experience! I would go every week to get my teeth cleaned if I could!

Dr. Frankfurth had never met me. I came in with a crown that had fallen off. He was very professional and pleasant . After assessing the tooth he quickly put it back on. His staff was very friendly and I especially liked his hygienist. She was super friendly and eager to make it this a very pleasant experience

So..not a fan of going to the dentist, BUT! This was a wonderful experience from scheduling to cleaning! My hygienist Kim was very fast, gentle and did an incredible job. Dr Frankfurth is EXCELLENT..very thorough and gives you the straight scoop on the good,bad, and the I between. Very nice reception/front desk staff.

Excellent staff, friendly and courteous and professional. Very clean and comfy office. The doctor is very thorough, kniwledgable, and great at making sure patients feel completely at ease. Topbnotch! I would know also, expert evaluator, my son is a dentist and severalbof his friends have we worked on my teeth over the years in other areas – this guy is great!

The care for my mother was excellent. She is 94 and has an intense fear of having dental work done but she was calm and comfortable with the excellent care of Dr. Frankfurth and his staff. This was her first visit to Gentle Care Dentistry. They were very caring and honest – charge was very reasonable with no hidden fees or charges or pressure to have additional work done. The entire staff is professional and courteous. One is always greeted with a welcome and a smile by the receptionist staff. There is hardly ever any wait time before an appointment. My dental hygienist, Regina, is awesome. Her gentle soft touch immediately puts you at ease. She performs a thorough cleaning with ease and with little, if any, discomfort. Dr. Frankfurth is a highly skilled dentist who always works quickly and efficiently in order to cause as little pain and discomfort as possible. There are dentists who are closer to where I live; I would not consider switching to any of them due to the excellent dental care I receive with Dr. Frankfurth and his awesome staff.

I recently moved to Tampa and needed to find a new Dentist. I did some online research and found Gentle Care Dentistry. I read the reviews and decided to book an appointment. I’m SO glad I did. An efficiently run dentistry. I showed up at my appointment and only waited 5 minutes before they called me for my cleaning. The dental hygienist was great. I experienced no pain while she expertly cleaned my teeth. After my cleaning she took me to have my x-ray’s done. Again, no waiting. Then I was moved to another room to meet Dr. Frankfurth who showed up right away. He was kind, good listener, and gave me an honest opinion on the health of my teeth. I have a follow up visit for teeth whitening and replacing a crown. I will update my review after these services are done but I’m confident that I will be very pleased with the outcome.

This was my first visit to Gentle Care Dentistry of Tampa. I will definitely return. Dr. Frankfurth listened to my concerns and was very knowledgeable with my particular problem. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had paperwork to complete, but I observed patients arriving for their appointments and they were called for their appointment almost immediately. I would definitely. recommend Gentle Care Dentistry of Tampa.

Had a good first visit to see Dr. Frankfurth. Taylor, the hygienist, was very pleasant and professional and she did a thorough job on the initial exam and cleaning. Dr. Frankfurth is a friendly dentist. Not much for small talk. He worked methodically through the x-rays and completed the second detail exam. He did a great job of explaining current gum and teeth health and potential issues that may come up in the future. Downside was – the front desk/office staff were not welcoming/friendly. I really miss that from my past dentist and doctors’ offices. They make such a difference in the entire experience. Instead of “What are you here for?”, I used to always get a big smiles, big hellos, called by my name, and some small talk about families/children/work/etc.
