Wonderful Dentist with Friendly and Courteous staff. They always make me feel comfortable on the phone, in person, and most importantly while “in the chair”. Dr Akkara puts me at ease by explaining everything and answers questions in great detail so I fully understand any procedure. Every time I’m here for an appointment, no matter the time of day, the office is spotless, chairs and equipment very modern, and relaxing music playing in the backround. I highly recommend Hillcrest Dental and Dr David Akkara.

The staff of Dr. Akkara’s office is exceptional! I’ve never been treated so well at a dentist’s office before. I walked in for my appointment, immediately greeted by the receptionist. It was only a matter of minutes until I was brought back (mainly because they were waiting on me to fill in new patient forms) to be greeted again by Sharon, the hygienist, who was all smiles. She got me comfortable into the chair, even offering me a blanket! She was amazing, so gentle and polite, making me feel really at ease. She explained everything she was going to do (the x-rays,the screening, the scaling, and the polishing of my teeth). She even put Chapstick on my lips twice because she could tell they were dry! I’ve never had a good experience at a dentist’s office before. I used to go to Greenberg Dental where they make you feel like your just a number and then inflict pain on you, which was the main reason I changed insurance. The ambience of the office is so warm and inviting, I almost forgot I was at the dentist’s office…which might also be partly due to the laughing gas! Great experience, looking forward to seeing them again in 6 months!

I have been with my dentist for almost 15 years and my crown fell out and the earliest they could see me was 3 weeks. I call 7 dental practices to see if they could get me in and only Hillcrest Dental allowed me the opportunity to be seen at 7 am. They were extremely professional and I was on and out in no time. Heck of a team I found my new dentist.

My family and I have been going to  Hillcrest Dental for many years when it was owned then by Dr. hodges. We’ve had positive experiences all the while. Hats off to Gleisy D.  She had been taking care of our teeth since she started at the clinic. And the service is nothing but the best. Dr. Akkara himself is great, too. He’s young but gives utmost care to his patients.

I have been a patient with Hillcrest Dental for many many years. The staff that works here is truly a joy to visit. While one usually becomes quite hesitant before a visit to the dentist, the hygienist here make you happy to return in six months. Dr. Akkara is very patient with his clients and takes mental note to remember exactly how the patient was feeling a few months ago during their last visit. Gleisy cleans my teeth and always does a wonderful and professional job. She asks me how I’ve been keeping up with my personal cleanings and is always very gentle with sensitive areas in my mouth. She always sends me leaving with a smile and many laughs. The hygienist here are well trained, professional and incredibly kind, Thank you Dr. Akkara and your team for all that you do!

Fantastic Dentist, highly recommend. Dr Akkara is very neat, tidy and professional. I have been to a number of dentists and have never felt more confident than with Dr. Akkara. I know he is going to do a great job whether it’s a crown or filling or anything. The hygienists are also top notch and very meticulous. As a new patient, they worked me in right away, very happy. Dr. Akkara was great, explains everything in detail and makes you feel very comfortable. I had my teeth cleaned by Gleisy, awesome job, very pleasant to talk with and did an awesome job with my teeth. Overall, I would highly recommend Hillcrest Dental, the treated me like family. Best experience I’ve every had with a dentist and staff.

The office staff was efficient, professional, and friendly. My sensitive teeth were cleaned gently and I was offered laughing gas. The Doctor seemed very knowledgeable. He was thorough and took the time to unhurriedly explain the exam findings to me. I even received a follow-up call the next day. I highly recommend Dr Akkara and his practice for anyone seeking a great dentist.

AMAZING! I have always avoided the dentist due to bad experiences and bedside manner. This team of professionals is so kind, so professional and very gentle. I don’t feel like I’m “being sold” anything that I don’t need or that I’m being judged for some of my dental issues. They work with me to create a smile I am proud of and healthy teeth. The experience is 5 star from start to finish. I’m so glad I finally have a team I trust!
