Excellent service and very professional staff!! I have been going to Lauren (dental hygienist) for years and she is very thorough and attentive. It is very obvious she enjoys helping her patients. Dr. Wells is top notch and very detailed. The front desk / management is very friendly and to be honest the entire staff is easy on the eyes! I will definitely be back!

I was recommended this dentist by a co-worker and am so glad for the referral! Dr. Wells and his staff are always friendly and appointments start on-time! I recently finished Invisalign with a different dentist and my bite was never discussed. However, my first visit with Dr. Wells, he asked about my treatment and immediately suggested some options to improve my bite to prevent my teeth from moving further in the future. We also took our 1 year old for his first visit and Sandra, our hygienist, was so good with him – he was smiling the entire time!

First new Dentist since I was a baby. We moved to Charlotte two years ago, I went to my Dentist just before moving here. I felt like I wanted to fly home twice a year just for my dental appointments, but of course that wasn’t feasible. At my new job my co-worker recommended Dr Wells, so glad I followed her advice, I didn’t feel nervous, I had two teeth that my previous Dentist had been watching, so I had one worked on. Easy peasy! The staff is kind, thorough and take time to answer ‘every question.” It’s clean, and that is a major plus. Enter, Dr. Well’s…..I was greeted with a hand shake and a smile that boast a set of great white teeth….. 🙂 My entire visit was relaxing, I knew this professional was “sincere” about what would be best to give me a “lovely smile.” He asked me more then once if I was “alright.” How could I not be, he is very gentle. I have been going to this practice for 10 years. Dr Wells and his staff are extremely professional and very proactive. They are very thorough with their exams and very gentle when doing cleaning and filling cavities. What I love is the ability to have a crown completely done in one visit. They have in-house technology that allows them to make your permanent crown at the office so no temporary, no coming back for another appointment, it’s great. I highly recommend this practice to everyone.

I found South Charlotte Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in an online search. I really needed a cleaning. It had been a year. I moved and had not tried to find a new dentist. I started to have pain in my gums, so I knew I needed to schedule. They had a great deal going on for new patients. On top of that, I added the cleaning. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Wells and his staff for any dentistry needs! Although, it’s a 25-30 minute drive for me, I will continue to go here. Everyone was very accommodating and sincerely cared. Kim scheduled me for the first available slot (2 weeks out) and kept up with me when anything opened. She was able to get me in just a few days after my initial call. I hate (and I mean hate) going to the doctors office. However, I cannot provide enough positive adjectives to describe Dr. Wells, his staff and my visit. Accommodating, Friendly, Knowledgeable, Genuine staff and fairly priced services!

I have been taking my kids to see Dr. Wells for the last 15 years. He is amazing with all five of my kids, who are now becoming adults. He has handled their oral care with professionalism as well as caring and sensitivity. Broke my denture and immediately phoned the office. Kim couldn’t of been any nicer. She had me come in immediately. Dropped the denture off in the morning and by 1:00 received them beautifully repaired. How nice is that? My family of five has been going to South Charlotte Family and Cosmetic Dentistry for 20 years. For most of that time, I felt Jim’s work was worth going out of network for. He now accepts Delta Dential which is like getting a bonus. The hardest part of dentistry is color matching a front tooth crown, believe me, Jim is really good at this. (The one day crowns help take some stress out of that procedure). Notable too is the speed at which Jim works, not too fast to make you think he is rushing but rather speed through precision and experience. In summary, Jim is an outstanding dentist who does just the work that you need, utilizes the latest technology and is backed-up by very cohesive, razor sharp team of hygienists and assistants, my favorites are Christina and Lauren.

I am a former dental hygienist with over 20 years of experience, so when I can review a dental office 5 stars, that is saying something! My only treatment needs have been standard 6 month cleanings and the usually scheduled x-rays (BW’s and Pano), but the staff is always welcoming, professional and prompt. It is important to me that an office is clean and up-to-date on the latest procedures and products and Dr. Wells and his staff are on top of it. I have been a patient for almost 3 years and my parents just move to Charlotte and I have recommended Dr. Wells to them.
