The office is very technologically advanced, and, in my experiences with dentists, this dentist is the first to use digital xrays, which were very helpful when the doctor explained the condition of my teeth. I had to get one filling, and the entire process was painless! I am very happy that I found such a great dentist in Jersey City. The office staff is also very friendly and the location is convenient. I highly recommend this dentist!

I got several dental procedures done from here over the past couple of months. Dr Fabiola and Dr Paek are experts in the field and have been very kind and gentle in addressing my dental anxiety and explaining the procedure in detail. My name is Amanda and I have been a patient of Jersey City Dental for more than ten years. I can honestly say that Jersey City Dental is the place to go! Dr. Paek is a wonderful dentist who truly cares about his patients. This office has a great staff who go above and beyond to ensure that the patients needs are first. Alright – we all hate visits to the dentist. Especially those of us who know we’ve prioritized other things over our dental health. After some years of not setting foot in a dentist’s office, I finally put my insurance to use and researched a few dentist options. I needed a same day appointment and fortunately Jersey City Dental was able to oblige. The process from the inception of appointment through the end of your visit is extremely professional and tailored to your needs. My oral hygienist – Samantha, was thee most gentle and kindest hygienist I have ever encountered. She was knowledgeable on a lot of the concerns that I had, and most importantly maintained an enthusiastic and positive attitude throughout my deep cleaning. After the cleaning, I needed a root canal evaluation and procedure, Dr. Andrew Paek is truly heaven-sent for those of you who don’t believe in higher powers, he is a gem on earth! Personally, I don’t believe that being judged while you’re shelling out hundreds of dollars for a service, is a good feeling – let alone being lectured for why you haven’t been there (shut up and fix my mouth!). In my 20 something years of various dentist office experiences, he has been the least judgmental and friendliest. He is really good at his craft and I recommend this dentistry without reservation. Pricing: Okay you need to know that this is as affordable as dental care gets! The front desk concierge is so kind and welcoming, maybe I’ve been in NYC too long where most doctor’s offices aren’t as friendly, but definitely if you’re NYC based TAKE THE TRIP ACROSS THE RIVER, and if you’re reading this/researching a new dentist – do it, pick Jersey City Dental!

I came in for a checkup and deep cleaning. Xrays showed I needed to get my wisdom teeth removed. They have their own surgeon as well but given dates they referred me to a oral surgeon in hoboken. The referral was easy and smooth and follow ups with Dr. Andrew are great. Nicole, my hygienist, is also wonderful and professional and all the wonderful ladies in the front are also nice, professional and very helpful. Would def recommend to anyone as they have been a great experience.

Best dentist ever, went here to get a cleaning after a terrible experience on Grove Street. The Grove St. dentist tried telling me I have 5 cavities and would need to spent upwards of a grand fixing them. Something didn’t seem right so I came here and they confirmed I actually have ZERO cavities. They didn’t try to sell me anything and offered solutions on how to fix some cosmetic concerns I have. In fact, I had a small chip and they offered to fix it same day 🙂 highly recommend!

My very first Yelp review and it’s well deserved! Dr. Paek and his team are amazing! Don’t let the old school building entrance scare you away, lol. Once you get passed the old stairway and into their office you will be greeted by a pleasant staff and a clean, well-kept office. Their friendly and professional attitude make going to the dentist a breeze, it’s too bad I only get to see them twice a year. Yes, I actually LIKE going to my dentist. Their schedules are flexible (I usually have evening appointments), and I’ve never waiting longer than 5 minutes to be seen. Marlene, the Hygienist, is very thorough yet gentle.

The staff are all very friendly and responsive (especially because you can easily communicate through text messaging with them), the doctor is easy-going and makes the experience smooth and painless and very easy. I really enjoy coming here and I appreciate the extra measures they are taking during the covid times to keep everyone safe. The office is always very clean and everything is done professionally and efficiently. Highly highly recommend.

The entrance gets you a little worried but trust me there is nothing to worry! I got an excellent cleaning from Marlene who was just top notch at her job. A great dental experience and I hate going to the dentists! Dr. Paek was delightful and I truly enjoyed my experience here. I will definitely be coming here again!

I hadn’t been to the dentist in a long time… like an embarrassingly long time and I decided that it was time. Jersey City Dental had good reviews and took my insurance so I gave it a go. Despite the looks of disgust when they saw my x-rays – yep, 4 cavities… awesome – the experience was great. I got sent back to remedial dentistry and had to go the deep cleaning route + the fillings and the staff was fabulous. Not only did they cleverly disguise their eye rolls every time we talked about my flossing history, they got me through everything and on my way to dental health reform. I actually enjoy coming into see them now that they aren’t coming at me with that creepy shot in your gums syringe. Also, they are super upfront about costs and price everything out for you so even if you are dental reject like me you know exactly what you are getting into.

I had always hated going to the dentist and actually didn’t go for 6 years straight! finally went to see Dr. Paek and have been going 2 times a year for the last 3 years. Friendly staff, awesome service and just a great dentist. Feeling relaxed and comfortable about someone working on my teeth is not something I was used to! Thanks!

I’ve been to this office in the past but stopped going because of insurance issues so I hadn’t been there in about 8 years or more. When looking for a dentist under my current insurance I came across a really positive review on the Internet that sounded like the office I used to visit so I went to that website and viola!! It was my former dental office but the name had changed AND they’re in my dental network. The staff has changed some but the “chairside manner” remains the same, Exceptional!! I’m happy to be going back there even though I’ve always hated going to the dentist..!! They make you feel comfortable and are very courteous. A Great office with a Great Staff from the front desk to the back room…!

Dr Paek is by far the best dentist I’ve been to! My previous dentists (NYC and Jersey) have always rushed my cleaning, tried to sell me on additional services that I didn’t need, and didn’t even do a proper procedure. Dr Paek fixed 2 of my crowns that were previously done, and he took his time explaining what needed to fixed and why. One of them was chipped and the other one was in the verge of falling off. I’ve gotten the teeth whitening procedure and all my cleanings here. The hygienist is fantastic and the staff is very friendly and professional. I’ll never go back to another dentist!

Thanks to all the yelpers who led me to Jersey City Dental! I just moved to the area a couple of months ago and was in need of a good dentist nearby. It’s great that they have evening hours and there wasn’t a long wait in the office. Dr. Paek, the hygenist – Marlene, and the rest of the staff so friendly and nonjudgmental. It’s a good change from the dentists from my childhood that seemed to always give me a disapproving look. I found their service to be really thorough, gentle, and informative. Dr. Paek also takes a more conservative approach and didn’t jump on doing unnecessary work at the moment. It’s really hard to find a dentist that is trustworthy and has your best interest in the forefront. I will definitely be staying with this office as long as I am in Jersey City.

I was very pleased to say the least with a dental service that I received in this office. The front desk staff is exceptional and very friendly and warm and welcoming. I cannot say more about this office and I highly recommend it to everyone. Dentist is also very friendly I love this office highly recommend please go see them and they will help you

I’ve been going to Jersey City dental for close to a decade. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, always up-to-date technology and all around a great experience every visit! It helps that they have great hours. My wife moved from NYC, made the switch and doesn’t regret it. We have separate insurance plans so she doesn’t see the same dentist so it speaks to the quality of the entire practice. Highly recommended!

Jersey City Dental Jersey City Dental is conveniently located near the Grove Street path. I like that they have extended hours so that I can go before/after work without taking any time off. I’ve been a patient for the past 8 years. I am treated like family by my dentist, my technician, and the ladies at the front desk. The practice is small but growing, and has been steadily increasing their use of new technology to improve their work (for example: 3d printing a piece of composite to incorporate in a crown repair on the spot, or showing me a digital simulation of how my teeth will look after I get invisalign, etc). They are also incorporating more technology into their service model (email and text message appointment reminders, etc). If I’m writing a fair and balanced review, I have to mention that they’ve messed up billing once or twice. But overall, I feel like I am in talented/competent hands, and that I never have to worry about being bamboozled.

After not seeing a dentist for a shamefully long time, Dr. Paek and his staff were a godsend. Friendly, knowledgable and without a hint of guilt or condescension over the amount of time it had been since my last dental visit. Dr. Paek – A younger and very personable dentist, he will explain to you what the issues are, what your options are and will try to get the work done with a minimal amount of hassle. Staff – The office/billing manager was fantastic, she gave me very specific quotes for the work that Dr. Paek recommended based on what my insurance would pay out. All of the other hygienists and assistants were equally kind and competent, it made the entire process very tolerable. The overall tone of the office is highly professional and attentive. Equipment/Technology – They have the most up-to-date digital x-ray and treatment plan systems I have seen. Every time you go in from the first time, they have your x-rays and history displayed in front of the dental chair, and your course of treatment. They also had an in-house crown milling machine, which means they just took a few digital pictures of my mouth, and the mill “printed” out my new perfectly-fitted crown in about 15 minutes. I was blown away.

They were able to see me fairly quickly and work with my schedule. My insurance was taken and the online registration saved time. Cleaning and Xrays were done well and efficient. I had fillings replaced. The approach, conditions, expected outcomes were clearly communicated and executed with high quality. The recommendations to treat other problem areas with my teeth were done in an honest and well informaed appraisal. * Good communication * Good service and atmosphere * Clean offices * High quality execution of treatment * Good advice and recommendations * Clear and honest billing practices I’m sending my wife there this week.

Love this dentist office! I am normally an anxious person but for some reason I feel SO CALM here. They have TVs to watch while you get work done and the office is very clean and modern. I like getting a cleaning here. Christen is so sweet and the staff is very professional and kind. Dr Paek is great! I I also recommend this place for Invisalign they have up to date technology 🙂 I posted a picture of my before and after Invisalign. I used to cover my mouth when I laughed and now I can’t stop smiling with my new teeth! Definitely do Invisalign here with Dr. Paek if you are considering it because he is very efficient, the price is great compared to other places – and you will love the results. A few of my friends decided to get Invisalign after seeing my teeth

Great service. Great care. I began seeing Dr. Paek last year. He solved a problem I had been experiencing with one of my crowns for several years. He referred me to a endodontist to get my previous work checked out. Turns out a fourth root was still intact! I got that taken care of and went back for a new crown. He uses state of the art equipment and the crown fits beautifully. After 6 years, I’m smiling because I don’t have dental pain thanks to Dr. Paek and his staff…I’m now a loyal patient for all my dental needs. The office may seem a little sketchy, but it’s the people, care and results that count.
