Ocean smile is such a friendly welcoming place, I’m not a fan of ever getting work done on my teeth but this was a place where I felt welcomed and comfortable and trusting with. Especially with the new technology I got to see for myself exactly what was needed to be done! Would prefer anyone who’s looking for a good trusting dental office.

Dr Strouse is the best! He treats all his patients like family and always makes time if you have an emergency. It is so reassuring to have such a reliable dentist. He explains everything thoroughly and does not make me feel like he is doing unnecessary work. The staff is wonderful, especially the one assistant Andrea, she is just a doll. I would recommend this practice to anyone!!!

There are soo many positive things to say about Dr. Strouse, Dr. Berman and the entire staff at Ocean Smiles. From the moment I walked in the door they made me feel comfortable and at ease. They are beyond professional and thorough, yet very personable, compassionate and truly care about their patients health and happiness. I have always had bad anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, but for the first time in my life I can finally and thankfully say that I will no longer have to worry about that again now that I am a happy patient at Ocean Smiles. Absolutely outstanding! I came in as an emergency patient, since my regular dentist wasn’t in the office. Not only did they take me in a few minutes after my call, but they made a same-day appointment for me at an oral surgeon’s office. When it turned out I needed the tooth removed, Ocean Smiles was able to take me in just a couple of hours later! There is no better staff and dentist than Ocean Smiles. I am now a regular patient and feel like I’m with the best of the best!

I had a dental emergency and my regular dentist wasn’t in the office. I Googled dental emergencies in my area and Ocean Smiles popped up. I called them at 9am. Not only were they incredibly helpful and friendly over the phone, they took me in right away – me, a new patient! I was in tremendous pain, so I really appreciated it. Dr. Strouse was very helpful and took time to explain what he was looking for and why he was sending me to an oral surgeon and what to expect during my visit there. Then he made the appointment for me that same day! It turned out that I needed the tooth removed, so I called Ocean Smiles to make an appointment. They were able to take me in just a couple of hours later. The tooth removal procedure was as painless as it could be. Today is the next day and I have absolutely no pain, swelling or any other complications. Needless to say, I will be a regular patient at Ocean Smiles from now on. There is no better dental office!

I’ve been dealing with Dr. Strouse for a couple of months now and I have nothing but good things to say. He is extremely professional, thorough, and knowledgeable. I am not a patient, but if I was in the Brick or Toms River area I would not hesitate to recommend him and the rest of the Ocean Smiles team.

New to area and liked the reviews. They were spot on and this dentist and his staff would get 100 stars if possible. They are prompt with their responses and very professional to work with. My wife is terrified of dentists and they even had her relaxed and come back for further treatment. They really care about their patients, have top notch equipment and are very thorough with cleaning and exam. Great Job to everyone at Ocean Smiles!

Very pleased with this office. Both the hygienist and dentist are thorough while still gentle. I’ve had some work done and am happy with it. The office also worked with me regarding payments and were very accommodating. The pricing here is better than I’ve paid in the past while the service is too notch. Highly recommend!

Dr. Strouse is the best dentist ever! I had a paralyzing fear of the dentist and they made everything go as smooth as possible for me. His assistant Andrea is excellent and was so patient with me even though I bit her finger by accident. Claudia is just a ray of sunshine at the front desk. I couldn’t recommend this dentist more! I moved to the area a year ago and had to find a whole new set of doctors. When looking for a dentist, I did my research and found Ocean Smiles. From the second I spoke to them to make my appointment to the follow up, everything was wonderful. The entire staff is extremely friendly from the receptionist to dental hygienists to dentist! They were very honest and I didn’t feel like I was getting “sold” to as I have in the past and with most healthcare professionals. They made me aware of everything going on in my mouth & how I could either remedy it or help prevent further damage going forward. I’ve told all my local friends about them and referred my boyfriend as well. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND OCEAN SMILES BECAUSE THEY TRULY CARE!!

So I stumbled upon Ocean Smiles based on a recommendation from a friend. I asked around because over the last 20 years dentists have been terrifying me and leaving me confused about my dental health. Let me start by saying how much I enjoyed my interaction with Dr. Strouse. It usually takes me time to warm up to a new dentist but he just makes it easy. He smiled and made jokes all while explaining my conditions and possible treatments more thoroughly than anyone ever before. He explained my options for fillings, bridges and implants. He explained why one area would be best suited for a bridge while another could use an implant. This was all done without pressure. It felt like a class in dentistry. When I left the office, I felt empowered and ready to improve my oral health. My treatment visits were just as pleasant. I kept waiting for the little pinch dentists always told me about before injections but in never came! Thank you Dr. Strouse for restoring my trust in Dentists.

My first appointment with Dr. Strouse was an emergency visit a year ago. He took his time with me & explained everything he was doing. I was impressed by the state of the art equipment & the level of care I received. I have been back several times this year for different procedures. The staff is excellent & professional.
