Dr Mello and Dr Tabib are hands down THE BEST dentists! I have been a patient for many years and I can honestly say the quality of care you receive here you will be hard pressed to find anywhere else. I have been a patient of Dr. Mello for 3 years. It has been a wonderful experience for me. NYC Smile Design is fantastic! The doctors and staff are so professional and friendly, and they make you feel well taken care of. Their office uses the latest tech, and overall has a really nice ambiance – cool jazz music, aromatherapy in the waiting room, espresso machine- what’s not to like? I can only highly recommend Dr. Mello and Dr. Tabib’s office.

A friend of mine referred me to NYC Smile and I could not be happier! They are the best dentist I have been to -ever. The quality of the cosmetic work they did on me (veneers) is exceptional – very, very natural looking. I get compliments all the time so I figured I’d return the favor – Kudos Drs. This is by far the best Dentist all around !It’s wonderful to find a dentist that is kind and trust worthy and that you look forward to visiting! Dr. Tabib has a very calm demeanor and he is very kind but most of all EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE and PROFESSIONAL . The dental assistants here are all so wonderful as well and provide every one with outstanding customer service.lLinda is just great , also very professional. I was terrified of dentists due to previous experiences and NYC Smile Design made my whole procedure TOTALLY PAINLESS!! I live in Philadelphia and I travel into New York City just to go to Dr. Mello and Dr. Tabib – they are simply that good. They are both perfectionist and they have definitely transformed my smile and improved my confidence. I am watching the show on Lifetime and the first thing that popped in my head was my Fiance. He has been having really bad dental problems for the last 12 years. He has had hip surgery because of his teeth infections. The infections in his mouth have caused him to be hospitalized for weeks and had gone into his hip, where he couln’t walk, he now has a 7″scar where the doctors cut open to remove an abscess. We don’t have the money to take care of this and it breaks my heart that this has put a strain on his self esteem and he has such a great way of talking to people and now that he has lost so many teeth, he is not able to talk to people face to face like he use to and it breaks my heart because he could make people happy with his profession. NYC Smile Design has basically become my second home this past year as I was getting treatment with Dr. Mello. The whole staff are so caring, always want to make sure you feel comfortable, so easy to get appointments…and honestly they are fun! (Never thought I’d say that about a dentist.) Dr. Mello made all my smile dreams come true, I know that sounds very corny…but when you hate your smile you laugh a little less and smile only when absolutely necessary. Life is a little less shiny when you have to try not to smile. After years of going to different cosmetic dentists only to be disappointed with the results, Dr. Mello was the first to actually make a difference and listen to what I wanted. She has a great eye (like an artist), and you can tell she is as happy as I am with the results…She cares about the results, and goes above and beyond to achieve the best results, no matter how hard the situation in front of her is. I will be forever grateful to her for making me smile (REALLY BIG!) again.

I absolutely hate going to the dentist (as many do) but Dr. Mello and her staff are top notch and make the experience easy and pleasant. I’m still a procrastinator when it comes to getting regular X-rays and cleaning, but they make it easier to keep it top of mind. The office is clean and welcoming and the staff is well-trained and professional. Highly recommended!

I have been going to NYC Smile Design for 14 years.  My teeth have never looked better.  These dentists are top notch proffessionals and their extensive education shines through.  I have never had a single problem with my teeth.  They take pride in doing the highest quality work.  Anyone who cares about their smile as much as I do should be visiting their office.  You’ll be in the hands of a welcoming and very professional staff from the moment you walk in the door.  I could only thank them for being honest and taking good care of me.  I visit their office twice a year and go in and leave with a smile.  They’re just wonderful!

I had been putting off going to the dentist for longer than I care to admit.  I finally broke down, thanks to LifeBooker, and made an appointment with Dr. Mello at NYC Smile Design.  The staff was wonderful from the front desk to the techs and Dr. Mello was a pleasure.  The offices are clean, modern and attractive, the process was painless and efficient and I was thrilled.  I will definitely be back.  I have already recommended them to several friends.

I would highly recommend Dr. Tabib and Dr. Mello to anyone that is looking to improve their smile. There are very few doctors out there that care more about their practice and their patients than these two!

Great experience! I’ve been coming here for years. Caring and professional dentists that know what they’re doing. Very friendly staff too. Dental equipment is continuously updated with the latest and greatest technology. The dentists and staff make you feel so comfortable like you are at home; they constantly check on you to make sure you are alright and at ease. Some of the complimentary amenities they offer include: hot and cold beverages in the waiting area; toothbrush, toothpaste, lotion, and perfume in the bathroom; and music and TV in the patient rooms. I am do comfortable there that I could fall asleep while they work on me…..that’s how comfortable it is there! I highly recommend these dentists to anyone!

NYC Smile Design is truly one of a kind practice! Everything is fantastic from two artist-dentists to staff to work being done. I am with Dr. Mello for a bit over 3 years and have to admit that any work she has done is absolutelly unrivaled by any other previous I have done in NYC and Europe. Her work is impeccable, durable, and aesthetically perfect. They also make my visit feel like visiting friends every time. Always caring, professional and friendly, with patient’s best interest in mind. It really helps making one at ease and happy walking out thinking that today I have done something good for my dental health. I haven’t had any work done by Dr. Tabib yet but suspect I will at some point. You should really look at the instagram-documented miracles they performed on some teeth. Their profile is quite impressive and fun to follow.

I discovered this dental office through  a friend who had gotten his invisalign from there. I was impressed by the quality of work done on his teeth so I asked him about his dentist. Now as for my own personal experience with NYC Smile Design, I have to say that it has been very good. The pros are self evident. They are courteous, professional, clean, and knowledgeable at what they do, and most importantly they get the job done correctly. As for the cons… Well I haven’t experienced any yet. Either way, anything outside the treatment of your teeth is auxiliary so even if there is a con, it wouldn’t be a defining factor. . Would I recommend NYC Smile Design to someone else? Most definitely!

I have been a patient of Drs Tabib and Mello for many years. I have recommended members of my family to their practice. I cannot begin to describe the life changing experience meeting them and being cared for by them has meant to me. There was a time when I thought I would never find a dentist who could give me back my smile and the assurance that my teeth were going to be aligned properly and not fall out (as my caps had following treatment by other dentists. I recommend Drs Tabib and Mello to anyone looking for the very best dentists/dental artists.
