I have been coming to Dr G for approximately 20 years and I absolutely love them and their staff! They are very attentive and all around great dentists and hygienists. I have recommended dozens of friends and co-workers to their office who have all had the same great experience. If I can say that I love my dentist, you know they’re good!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Giangrasso for a few years now for dental and cosmetic services. I enjoy going to his Boston office. When I get there, the staff always greets me warmly and makes me feel at home. Dr. Joe is a true professional. He listens to my concerns and always gives me the best advice. I’d recommend him to anyone needing high quality and cost-effective dental and cosmetic services.

I have been going to Dr. Giangrasso’s office in Boston for over a year now. I am very impressed by the doctors and the staff. They are all very knowledgeable and professional. They know their stuff and take the time to explain everything thoroughly. They always take time to confirm my appointments which is helpful with my busy schedule. I have been going to Dr. Giangrasso for more than 15 years. I’ve had lots of procedures over the years – root canals, crowns, fillings, etc. I HATE novocaine but somehow Dr. G manages to administer it quickly and with minimal pain. Everyone here is kind, friendly, helpful and pleasant. I always feel like they have my best interests at heart.

I recently had my first crown, and my dental insurance company (what an oxymoron) reflexively refused to cover the expense. Dr. Joe and his administrator Lucia went to bat for me as vocal advocates, having me come back in for more detailed photos with a high-tech camera to give the insurance company visual confirmation that the work was necessary, and also making sure that I got the maximum amount covered. Dr. Joe and Tsui, the dentist’s assistant, were patient and kind and helped me get through what for me was a terrifying experience. I’m grateful for the attention and support I got from all the staff, and highly recommend this dental provider and his staff.

I have been going to Giangrasso Dental for about four years now and would never think of changing my dental care. Both Dr. Joe and Dr. G. are amazing doctors and very knowledgeable in their field. All the dental hygienists/assistants are super friendly and gentle enough that I don’t hate going back every six months. I love the front office staff. They are always very accommodating and make every effort to get my visits approved through my insurance and the least possible cost to me as a patient. They have a great location, right in the North End. I love that I can just pop over at lunch and get my dental needs met. I can’t say enough good things about this office. Once you go there you will never change dental offices again! 🙂

I’ve been going to Dr. G.’s office for over 15 years. These guys are great! It’s a family office and they always make you feel welcome. They run on time which makes getting back to work easy. I usually see Dawn or Amanda for my cleanings and Dr. Joe does my exams. They are all so nice and make a terrific team. The cleanings are always very thorough and they take time to explain everything to me. When I need crowns or fillings done, they go over the whole process so it’s clear. The front desk even works with my insurance to help pay for some of the work. If you need a dentist downtown, call them!

Dr Giangrasso Sr is such a wonderful dentist. He has the best upbeat personality and makes sure to explain everything he is doing to keep you at ease and comfortable. Every time I have an appointment he has been very thoughtful and thorough.  I’m never a fan of going to the dentist (who is?), but he makes the visits a bit more pleasant by just his caring attitude.

I’ve been going to this dentist office for at least six years – I picked it based on its proximity to my office . . . as well as its proximity to Mike’s or Modern Pastries . . . If I manage to leave my appointment with no cavities, I can reward myself with a North End treat. (I’ve never actually had a cavity, so I can always equate a dentist appointment with a cannoli. Makes one want to go the dentist). Now, I’ve never had any real dental work, so my only real experience with the dentist is the biannual cleanings (which, given my coffee habit is a little more aggressive than need be) – but the staff has always been prompt, friendly and professional. In one of my first appointments, Dr. Giangrasso (the son) did ask me if I was interested in teeth whitening (after ranking my teeth on a scale as a 2, in a 1 to 15 ranking [1 being the best]) – I think I snapped at him for recommending something purely cosmetic when this should be a health care facility (I am opposed to the American dentist way of attempting to enforce a uniform, perfectly straight gleaming white smile in every individual. We lose the beauty in uniqueness). Since then, I haven’t heard a peep about this. Nor has anyone pushed any other service on me, where other dentists have (Like braces. I have a slight overbite). It’s the way the dentist should be – they remind you of your appointment, you sit in a chair, they give you a hard time for not flossing, clean your teeth, give you x-rays, the dentists comes in and checks you out, you schedule your next six month appointment and then you go across the street and get pistachio cookies. And then repeat.

Everyone here is very friendly, and more importantly, good at their jobs.  I’ve had a number of cleanings and several cavities filled here, and the procedures are always relatively quick and not painful.  I had no idea how bad my last dentist was until I switched to Dr. G & Son– they are top notch.

Let me start off by saying I am absolutely terrified of going to the dentist. I rarely go, which is why this past summer I was in need of an emergency visit. A friend suggested Dr. G and I am so glad she did. The staff is amazing. They were all very friendly and professional, from the office staff to the hygienists. I got an appointment right away with no hassle. Sadly, I came in petrified and in tears. They calmed me down as much as they could, given my crazy phobia. Honestly, Dr. G is the first dentist I’ve allowed to touch my teeth in over 10 years. He and his staff are very gentle and patient. While I can’t say I’ll ever be excited to go to the dentist, I know I’m in good hand here. I absolutely recommend this place.
