Dr. Butt is a wonderful orthodontist, takes great pride in his work, and cares for each of his individual patients. He is a highly skilled professional, with an impressive amount of experience and knowledge, he dedicates much of his free time to innovation in orthodontics, attending conferences and seminars, he is never behind on the latest technological advances made. He has a top notch office, with state-of-the art equipment, and a warm and knowledgeable staff. I would recommend Dr.Butt to any parent and/or adult, he truly cares and does all he can to work out treatment plans for you. I had the pleasure to work for him a few years ago, and seen many beautiful smiles walk out of his office! He’s great!

I finished my Invisalign orthodontic treatment at Dr. Butt’s office when I was living in Cambridge, MA and was very pleased with the results. I was a challenging case since my childhood dentist had extracted one tooth in an effort to reduce teeth crowding, and this resulted in an asymmetrical smile, with more crowding and a “vampire” tooth sticking out on one side that I was always conscious of. I was really glad that Dr.Butt made my treatment work despite the limitations of Invisalign for more challenging cases. He offered several reasonable treatment options to correct my teeth alignment and I chose the least invasive one (without further teeth extraction). Many friends complimented me on my smile after my treatment and I always smile wide and with great self-esteem now. Throughout the process Dr. Butt was very kind, knowledgeable and caring, and carefully corrected the externally manufactured Invisalign retainers for the best fit and results. I was always impressed with his quick and skillful handling of the various orthodontic appliances and instruments. I highly recommend the practice for Dr. Butt’s great experience (over 30 years now!), knowledge and care and the impressive state-of-art technology in the office.

The Face Studio is the absolute best! Just had a massage by Diane and she made me feel so relaxed and de-stressed; it was amazing! The time flew by and I didn’t want to leave! She is so kind, caring, and you can tell how much she loves helping others through massage. I love the tranquil space, products they offer, and optimal service they provide every time I visit. This place is so lovely! I saw Victoria and she did such an amazing job. She was very welcoming and let me relax completely during my facial ( I defiantly fell asleep ) and her hands are magical. I defiantly found my new space and I can’t wait to be back.

I have been a patient for many years with DR Butt. Received Invisalign to remove gap in front teeth and could not be happier with results. Wish I had done years ago, but it’s never to late to have the smile of your dreams. I enjoy the family friendly office and the location on Plain St is so convenient!

I brought my 12 years old Son for the Orthodontic treatment to Dr. M H Butt. My son’s teeth were so crooked that he used not smile because of his two fangs like teeth. Dr. Butt removed permanently 4 crowded teeth and then he started his original Orthodontic Master treatment to my son. In the beginning we were very scared and worried about our little young boy but the office personnel and fellow Doctors in The Somerville Dental Center including Professor of Harvard University, a high quality advance Surgeon and a Great Human being Dr. Butt were very Friendly, very sharp and intelligent in their profession. All are quick, decision maker and a great care taker of their patients all the time with their treatment. They provided the most comprehensive and advanced treatment to me and my whole family in a reasonable cost. All in all, The Somerville Dental Center is absolutely Fantastic place for the Family Dental Care and is definitely going to be a popular place of choice for every family in the Greater Boston Area.

Fantastic place, Everyone is Superfriendly and very knowledgeable about both dental care and the insurance to pay for it. some notes: – When I called to make an appointment they had a spot for me the very next day. Like others I picked the place for its location and its acceptance of many dental insurances. The first time i showed up we found out my insurance didn’t start til the next day, which they were happy to reschedule at a moments notice. – The environment is very comfortable and state of the art. The xrays are all digital and not the ones that you have to bite down on that I despise. They even gave me topical anesthetic for the ultrasonic cleaning which i had never been given an option for before. – They understand the costs of dental work and give pragmatic advice as to what needs to be done and when. This place is absolutely wonderful and is definitely going to be my place of choice for my time in the greater boston area.

I used to live just down the street from here and would always giggle on my way back from the bar as I passed by the sign. Poor Dr. Butt. I’m told by a Pakistani friend that “Baht” would have been a better transliteration. But it was the closest dentist that was covered by my insurance and as it turns out, they run a good shop here. Everyone is friendly and smart and won’t hesitate to discuss pros and cons with you when you have a choice about something. I actually don’t mind going to this dentist!

Deceiving from outside but when you enter the studio you’re immediately relaxed. Cutest atmosphere and sweetest, professional staff. If you’re looking for quality care and place to go for a treat of relaxation.. this is it. I can’t wait to go back!

I recently had a facial here and can’t say enough about the place. The atmosphere inside is relaxing, clean and very trendy. Originally I had booked a four layer facial but upon seeing my needs the woman (drawing a blank on her name) made other suggestions that were perfect. (She was not upselling as the cost was exactly the same.) I will say that the outside of the building is deceiving. I had a hard time figuring out which door to go in, but I just entered the building and followed the signs, which clearly told me which way to go. The building is not in the best condition but as soon as you enter the Face Studio it is like you transported to another place – it’s very nice!
