★★★★★
Let me start by staying that the staff and dr are super friendly. I had my teeth clean today by Gina and she did an awesome job super gentle when cleaning. Dr did a check up and was super amazing with explaining all kinds of things! Overall the environment was phenomenal! Will definitely be going for all dental work and cleanings.
★★★★★
It was awesome. First time here, first time at any dentist in a longgg time. The inside is wayyyy nicer than the outside. I walked in and automatically felt comfortable. There’s nice chill music and a nice fireplace with furniture that said “home” to me. The front desk staff was great, knowledgeable and answered all my questions before checking me in. The Dental Hygenist, Mackenzie, was awesome and thorough. She spoke clearly and worked efficiently with confidence. Dr. Bacsa was the best. Very clean, you can tell he’s mentally sharp. There was no interrupting each other or speaking over each other. He paid attention to my concerns ANDDDD he explained everything until I fully understood it. Check-out was a breeze, made my next appointment and it wasn’t pushy at all. Genuinely friendly people overall. Can’t wait to come back. The entire staff works & communicates like actual people, not like robots with generic answers. It was great. Two big fat thumbs wayyy up! Thanks team!
★★★★★
I was in recently for a crown prep. It was the easiest I have ever experienced. Tim and his staff were courteous, committed and explained the procedures along the way. They were very concerned for my comfort and ease of treatment. I have been a patient at Emerson Ave. for several years and look forward to greater experiences with them. Tim is by far the best dentist around!
★★★★★
I went yesterday for a 6-month x-ray and cleaning. Ashley did a great job with the cleaning and with answering questions. The front office team did a good job of explaining my treatment plan and working with me to figure out options since what I need done won’t be covered by my insurance for a while. Their office is moving soon. It will be a little farther for me to travel for future visits, but it’s worth it to go here for the care.
★★★★★
We Love Dr Bacsa, I went a few years without insurance and had quite a few cavities when I finally got in. He didn’t make me feel bad about it and I’ve always received great customer service. All the staff seems to really enjoy their jobs and have good attitudes. This is definitely the place I refer people who ask for a dentist.
★★★★★
After being told my daughter needed two teeth extracted I took her to Emerson Avenue Dental for a second opinion. The second we walked in the doors we were met by kind and welcoming staff. Dr. Bacsa took his time explaining what was needed and worked out a plan we all agreed on. My daughter felt comfortable and immediately asked if he could be her new dentist. I think we found a new dental home for our entire family.

I would highly recommend going to Emerson Ave. Dental office. Today was my first appointment for a regular cleaning and my initial impression when walking in the door was that the office was well kept and the staff was very welcoming. I was treated with great care and Dr. Bacsa made sure to answer any questions I had after my teeth were thoroughly cleaned. I was pleased with my experience.
★★★★★
Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value Dr. Tim Bacsa and his team do extremely great work, they’re kind, exceptional in the care. I haven’t had the best dental experiences throughout my life time, Dr. Tim really changed my dental experience. To say it in another way, I am not the model patient, and they still take care of my teeth as much as I am willing to let them. And they are always kind, gentle, patient, truthful and happy to take care of me. I am so grateful for Dr. Tim Basca and his team, he really has changed my personal experience with dental, I am still learning to trust them. Thank you so much!!
★★★★★
Everyone I’ve came in contact with here is extremely nice & easy to talk with. If you have the nervous nellies like I did about dentist offices due to past experiences, go here & be truthful with them. Even during this Covid stuff going on, when they opened back up they called to reschedule the appointment I missed. I explained my concerns with not being able to wear a mask & they listened then explained the way their office was handling it. Very professional & always smiling!
★★★★★
Great place, friendly staff, wonderful customer service. My favorite part about this office is the time they took to educate me on why or what was needing to happen. Any concerns I had were addressed thoroughly. I love that they have a day that I can schedule a 7am appointment. You can tell that the employees at this office have a passion for what they do and truly care about people. I was lucky to have caught the tail end of their morning meeting and it was awesome to see so many people excited for their day and developing a plan to make sure their schedules ran as smooth as possible.
★★★★★
I haven’t been to the dentist in years, more less because of anxiety , but after leaving I realize how I was making a big deal out of nothing. They are extremely professional and the dental hygienist was amazing. The Dentist is extremely smart and explains everything in a way for you to understand. I have scheduled an appointment to come back!
★★★★★
Dr. Bacsa and his team work well with getting things done! Dr. Bacsa is friendly respectful and very understanding to everything. I respect him and appreciate the effort he put into making sure my experience is pleasant. I truly love going to get my ortho vists … cleaning sessions and I’ve been fully committed. Something as an adult you sometimes forget to make time for. Thank You, Rayce Young
★★★★★
I would recommend Emerson Avenue Dental to anyone seeking a very positive and professional experience. Dr. Bacsa and his wonderful staff have provided a variety of procedures and maintenance for me personally, and I have always been extremely satisfied by the results. The office is clean and modern, equipped with what seems to be the best array of tools and technology I’ve ever seen in a dental office. Everyone is very thoughtful and courteous. I actually find that visiting my dentist is a pleasant experience (imagine!) and never worry in least bit about the end results in advance; always superb. Can’t give a higher rating for their services, it’s the best I’ve ever known.
★★★★★
I’ve never liked the dentist. In fact I hadn’t been in about two years. But after my first visit with this office, I don’t mind the dentist! Everyone at this office is so friendly. The customer service was phenomenal from the moment I walked in and even after I had left the office. Dr. Bacsa was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable about going to the dentist and the hygienist (I want to say her name was Ashley or Amy) was just as welcoming. The dentist can be scary and this office makes it not scary at all. I will definitely be back.
★★★★★
Everyone I’ve had the pleasure of meeting at Emerson Avenue Dental have been beyond accommodating, personable, knowledgeable, and exude amazing customer service, from Dr. Bacsa, to the hygeinists, and the receptionists. My fillings far exceeded my expectations and look like beautiful, normal teeth, also and my cleaning and X-rays were enjoyable (yes, enjoyable!) also. I also appreciate that appointment reminders are given via email and text, the office calls to check up on me, and I’m certain that if I have an issue in the future that all staff will go out of their way to ensure my satisfaction and great care. I work in HR for a medical practice and I’d gladly hire any employee I’ve come into contact at Emerson Avenue Dental, and appreciate that everyone seems to love their coworkers and what they do! Couldn’t recommend more highly
★★★★★
Dr. Bacsa is the consummate professional. He explains everything to you and takes the time to make you feel like you’re his only patient. I drive from the northside (Broadripple area), and obviously location was not a factor in my decision to choose Dr. Bacsa for all of my dental needs. His staff is 2nd to none, and you won’t be disappointed with the service, atmosphere, and knowledge that you’ve made the right decision. Bill Manning
★★★★★
Dr. Basca is a wonderful dentist and really cares about patients, even if they are not his. My regular dentist is on vacation and of course my crown decides to pop off. I had called the dentist that is supposed to be filling in twice and have had no reply at all. I spoke to a person each time and they both stated that they could not get into the scheduling system and this was three days apart. Lucky for me my dentist’s receptionist was in and was able to find me a place to go that charges about the same as mine and is just as good as mine. Thank you Dr. Basca and staff for being so kind and offering services when my dentist is away.
★★★★★
Okay, settle in. This will be lengthy. Let me start by saying my anxiety associated with the dentist stems from my second childhood dentist drilling and filling teeth that didn’t even originally have cavities in them. The ones that did, he basically drilled to the nerve, and didn’t bother to let my parents know what the fallout would be for that. I began having teeth die when I was about 16. If you’ve never had a tooth die, I’ll say this; the mother-of-three dentist I had when it happened said she’d rather go through natural labor twice over than ever have a tooth die again. That childhood “doctor” has since lost multiple malpractice suits. Turns out, when the insurance is good, you can perform unnecessary procedures to pocket the extra money. That forever made me VERY untrusting of dentists. Anytime one says anything about needing anything more than a cleaning, I’ll end up paying for a second opinion, because when you have a head full of unnecessary fillings, leading to root canals and crowns, you tend to prefer more than one person tell you the same thing. FF to about a month ago… I went in for my initial visit to Bacsa Family Dental. They took about 20+ X-Rays, including a panoramic one. They took brightly lit, close-up pictures of literally EVERYTHING the hygienist (Ashley) thought Dr Bacsa might remotely think needed attention. If I had a question about why they thought something needed done, it was answered without hesitation. They walked me through every X-Ray and picture one-by-one. I wasn’t expected to just take a stranger’s word for it. Yesterday, I went in for my first appointment to make corrections. I didn’t know how I felt about three different people performing tasks I’d only ever had the dentist do. I begin my normal deep breathing and tearing up before the bib even got clipped on. Kelly (assistant) halted right there. I was asked if I’d rather be sedated. Music to my ears! If it weren’t for the fact that I had a tooth breaking around a filling that I’ve been trying to get fixed since July, I would have delayed the appointment, and had them knock me out at a later date. That was about as smooth as working on four teeth could have been. Those three individuals had assigned tasks, and from start to finish, the only time I was left alone was when they were waiting for the Novocaine to take full effect. They listened to me when I said my body pumps Novocaine out rapidly, so they used enough to make sure they wouldn’t have to stop mid-procedure. When the doctor came in to begin drilling, Kelly asked if I’d like to try a bite block to help hold my mouth open. That was also a game-changer. That little change gave me one less thing to worry about while they were working. I was able to actually RELAX while I had my mouth propped open. I was then asked repeatedly if I’d like to take a break. NOPE! Just get it done. When I did feel pain while Dr Bacsa was drilling, he backed off, and used a different bit at a slower speed, instead of injecting more meds. He chose to take longer for my comfort instead of a quick fix. That has never happened for me. All of the little things added up to a visit that I will never forget in the best way possible. I absolutely cannot speak highly enough about the level of care this office gives its patients; right down to offering to hold my hand. I didn’t take them up on it, but I know they would have done it without a second thought. My ONLY suggestion would be to add hooks in the bathroom stalls in the women’s restroom. Small taters compared to complaints I’ve had at other dentists’ offices. 🙂

I went to Dr. Bacsa for the first time this week. I did tons of research for a new dentist in the area since we moved recently. The reviews did this business justice. The hygienist, Alyssa, was gentle, informative and personable. Dr. Bacsa came in and seemed to actually CARE what I had to say about my treatment plan and really took time to talk with me. I am looking forward to going back in 6 months.
★★★★★
Dr. Bacsa and his staff know what they’re doing. They’re efficient, thorough and comforting during appointments. I’ve been going here for about a year, and I really appreciate this office. I could save money by going somewhere else, but I don’t because I trust the work they’re doing. They offer me a blanket, pillow and water at longer appointments like fill-ins. I’ll always say yes to a blanket! 😉 They’re totally fine with me putting in my headphones and listening to music or podcasts so I can drown out the noise while they work. They really do their best to make sure your comfortable, your questions are answered, and your teeth and gums are in good health. I was with Makenzie the day I’m writing this review and she is a great hygienist! She did my latest cleaning and did a wonderful job. She was also super friendly and good at explaining things as she did them. Be sure to call and book your appointment in advance! It’s usually that appointments are only available a month away from when I call. Note: I wrote a review of Bacsa Family Dentist when they were going by Emerson Ave Dental in a different building. Check out reviews for Emerson Ave Dental for more info if this review doesn’t do it for you. 😉

Dr Bacsa and associates are a very, kind, friendly, professional and knowledgeable group who have the patient’s best interests at heart. He has state of the art facilities. They explain, in detail, any treatments, and leave you feeling confident in their ability to perform them. I highly recommend them for your dental care.

I went to Dr Bacsa’s for the first time today and I must say that it was a wonderful experience from the staff to the cleanliness of the office and the treatment of my teeth. After going to the same dentist for 7 years and him retiring I’m so thankful that I have now found an office that is so warm, welcoming and extremely professional just as my previous dental office. You guys rock!!

My teeth are SO clean! It feels like I have a brand new set of teeth. Ashley did a great job cleaning my teeth. I hadn’t been to the dentist in about 2 years, so there was quite a bit of work to do, but she was very diligent in her work and effective at removing the plaque and tartar. One of my favorite shows, ‘Fixer Upper’, was playing on the TV too. Overall great experience and great care. They worked me in on a tight deadline when they had a cancellation too. Thanks guys!
★★★★★
Tim and his staff are the greatest dental team and I am so honored to be serviced by them. They are so patient with everyone, and explain in great detail my needs and the procedures as they are completing them. They really listen to my needs and are truly concerned about my treatment. I have the pleasure to have 4 brand new caps for my upper front teeth. They have truly changed my life and given me a greater presence. Congratulations to Tim and his super team at Emerson Avenue Dental!

My appointment started promptly on time and I was greeted by a very kind, cheerful, knowledgeable hygienist. My teeth were cleaned and the dentist came in to check my teeth. She was very friendly and thorough with her examination. Overall a very good experience and I highly recommend Dr. Bacsa’s dental office.

Just had a procedure at Basca Family Dental and I must say that out of all the dental offices I’ve been to in my life, they are definitely the best. Starting with the receptionist to the dental assistant and ending with Dr. Basca, every person I came in contact with was personable yet professional and never judgmental in any way. I’ve always been scared of dentist but I immediately felt relaxed with Dr. Basca and he made sure I didn’t have to experience pain during the process. Amy was very patient in helping me to come up with an affordable plan and called to check on me after I got home the day of the procedure. I would recommend anyone who has dental needs to go to Basca Family Dental.

We have been going to Bacsa Family Dental for years now (previously Emerson Avenue Dental). Dr. Bacsa and his staff are kind to all their clients. They know them by name and greet them when coming in for an appointment. My husband had a lot of dental work needed and Dr. Bacsa worked on all of the items needing to be addressed (in priority order) appointment by appointment and now he is done. The one dentist my husband trusts. I wish they were open on Fridays for appointments. You won’t regret going to Bacsa Family Dental!
★★★★★
Emerson Avenue Dental is the place to go! I moved to this office after my dentist retired from 30+ years in practice. I’ve seen the same hygienist both times that I’ve been there, and she is absolutely amazing. Dr. Basca is a great guy and takes excellent care of his patients. I would highly recommend this office.

From the minute I called the office to schedule a new patient appointment, I was treated with care and respect. Dr. Tim and team were very professional and friendly. The care I received exceeded my expectations and I will gladly refer my friends and family to the office. An added bonus is that I was told of a promotion of receiving $50 credit on my account for anyone I refer in…and that is a nice incentive to do so!! Thanks for a GREAT dental appointment experience!!
