I absolutely love Nelson Dental Care. Dr. Nelson and his wife, Courtney, make you feel at home the second you walk in. Courtney makes all scheduling so easy and works her best to get you rescheduled if need be without making you feel bad. Dr. Nelson is very kind and makes you feel safe. He takes his time to talk to you and recommends the best treatments. They both consistently ask me about my children which makes me feel like I am not just another patient and that they truly care. Lastly, they are always on time!! I have never waited longer than 5 minutes to be seen which is so hard to find at any doctors office. If you’re looking for a dentist to make you feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for then they are your people.

For years I struggled with Fluorosis and was always self conscious about my smile. When I decided to explore options to cover my white spots, my previous dentist recommended Dr. Nelson. During my first visit he was able to explain several options I could go with and priced them out for me while giving me realistic expectations. I was able to proceed with two dental treatments and ultimately ended up with a beautiful white smile! He took his time and made sure everything looked perfect and felt comfortable. I had a great experience!

This was my first time visiting Nelson Dental Care and it was a real pleasure. Dr. Nelson was very thorough and explained/showed pictures to support any follow up work that was recommended. The dental hygienist was awesome and did a fantastic job at cleaning my teeth. Overall, everyone in the office were super friendly and aimed to please. As fast as location, it’s located on Doctor’s Row. It was a bit confusing to find but I called and they were more than happy to direct me.

I Always have a great, smooth experience here. The staff and Dr. Nelson are friendly, respectful, caring and courteous of your time. I’ve been visiting here for years, I’ve had teeth extractions, crowns, veneers, and fillings. Most importantly keeping up with my cleanings. I couldn’t be happier with the results. The office is run very smoothly and efficiently. Every visit is Like visiting Friends. Definitely recommend.

This is the best dentist I’ve ever been to in 30 years . For the first time in my life my mouth was really numb and I felt no pain during the process. I highly recommend this Dentist, he listens to your concerns and makes sure you are comfortable. The staff is very nice and considerate and help you feel comfortable.

So the other day, I called Nelson Dental Care to do a check up to see if my wisdom teeth finally came in. They told me I could come in the next day and to email them a picture of my health insurance card, but something happened. But they were still able to take me in and do a free X-ray! So that was very nice of them and they were so quick and easy about the appointment. The day of my appointment, I was running a little bit late and I accidentally came thru the back door, but they were very nice about it, and led me to the front desk. I felt so embarrassed. All of the faculty staff were so friendly and patient. I will definitely be coming back.

All starts with the front desk. When I called she was very nice and worked with me. Scheduling wasn’t an issue and got in within a week. On my arrival, I we greeted by a nice staff. Moved right in, had my X-rays and cleaning in minutes, then had teeth cleaned and spoke with dentist. Super fast. Super helpful. Sweet and caring staff. I highly recommend.

Dr. Nelson was excellent and professional. Staff are very caring and really concern about my needs. They made sure that I understood the treatment plan every time during my visit. I called in for an emergency appointment. Dr. Nelson was able to help and see me on the same day. Great experience and I highly recommend Dr. Nelson to others. I am very happy for the dental services that I received.

I was Dr Nelson’s dental assistant for 2 years before I moved to Mississippi and let me tell you something my whole family still goes to this office for all their work me and my husband drive to Metairie every time we need any dental work because I want nothing but the best! I call him the “Michael Jordan of dentistry” seriously y’all take this from a person that seen his careful work and amazing heart and compassion for his patients! If he is not working on patients you can find him in his office studying the newest procedures and technics he loves his field and patients and it shows.

Dr. Nelson is very skilled in his work. If you have any questions just be sure to ask. He & his Staff are thorough in their explanations. You can get: 1. An “Active Treatment Plan”. This is a diagram of all the teeth in your mouth & what has been done to them. Good for Dental Records. 2. A Statement of what was done the day of your visit. This is good to submit to your work if you have a “ Health Care Flex Spending Account”. Just Need to ask. Courtney gladly print those for you. Great Dr. & great Staff also including the Dental Hygienists.
