Dr. Toporek and his staff are amazing. Went in for my cleaning today and was blown away, as always, by how wonderful they all are. I love that you are scheduled with the same dental hygienist every time so that you can actually build a relationship. Destiny knows about my job, always asks about my family, and even asked how my best friend was doing with her wedding planning – I have no clue how she remembers all that stuff. Doctor Toporek is kind and professional. He always explains exactly what he is doing and why so that you feel comfortable. I would recommend him to everyone. If you need a dentist this is it. Actually strike that, even if you don’t need a dentist this is it! Quit going to your dentist and switch, I promise you’ll be glad you did. They are that wonderful!

Have been a patient at several dentists over the years. I can honestly say that Dr. Toporek and his staff are by far and away the best. They are welcoming, accommodating, professional and genuinely care that you are there. Dr. Toporek goes out of his way to be prompt, gentle, professional, and always leaves you with a smile. I think it’s just his nature. Great guy and great Doctor.

I want to publicly commend Dr. Martin Toporek for his altruism, kindness, and generosity. I heard a first hand story from a friend at East Cooper Newcomers about how he shared his time and talent with someone less fortunate. Dr. Martin is the most gentle dentist I have ever been to in my 67 years of going to dentists. He recently replaced 3 crowns that my dentist in Atlanta had done a shoddy job on. I would have lost all 3 teeth had it not been for Dr. Martin. I moved here over 2 years ago and will NEVER use anyone else!!!

I cannot overstate how great my experience has been with Dr. Toporek and his staff. I travel from Columbia to see Dr. Toporek, and every mile traveled and minute in the car is worth it. They are extremely well-organized, communicative, and my smile is looking better than ever thanks to Dr. Toporek’s knowledge, experience, and skill. Simply Awesome! Most definitely the best dentist anywhere in and around Charleston. Dr. Martin is a knowledgeable, professional, excellent state of the art dentist with a wonderful chairside manner. He also has and uses the latest in available technology to enhance and ensure the quality of his work. Additionally, he has a highly trained, experienced and pleasant staff. My family and I have used Dr. Martin for many years and can without reservation vouch for the high quality of his work.

I have been seeing Dr. Toporek and all the wonderful dental hygienists and receptionists at West Ashley Dental Associates for the past 10 years or so. Even after moving to Summerville, I gladly make the trip to West Ashley simply because I love everything about this office. Destiny has been my dental hygienist for as long as I’ve been going and I absolutely adore her. Every visit she asks about my family and I know that she genuinely cares about me. I now take my two-year old for his routine dental exams and I can’t speak highly enough about how professional, patient and sweet everyone at the office is with my little one. Simply put: I can’t imagine trusting any other dentist with my family. 🙂

The best dentist in town!! After many visits to his office, Doctor Martin gave me a new, healthy mouth. And I am extremely happy with the results! He always takes his time explaining each process you are going to go through. Making you feel very comfortable! Him and everyone in there are genuinely caring and sweet. I love this place! I have been seeing Dr. Martin for five years. He is an interested and thorough dentist and I am happy with his work. He has tried to help me with a bad taste in my mouth and has tried quite a few approaches. Though we have not found a solution I am thankful that he keeps trying to help. Destiny is my hygienist and she is terrific. She is very pleasant and does great work.

I went to Dr. Toporek for a new mouthguard, as I was having morning headaches and acute neck/shoulder pain. Rather than sending my mold to a lab to make the mouthguard, Dr. Toporek made mine in-house. We’ve adjusted my bite a few times and I am now pain free! Bite alignment is so very, very important. The mouthguard that Dr. Toporek made is 100% more comfortable than the one I had been using the past 20 years! The entire office is professional, caring and very educational as to the reasons behind everything they do. Having three “bulging discs” in my cervical spine and been told that I needed surgery to rid me of my pain I am more than pleased that, with Dr. Martins’ expertise, I have avoided an unnecessary and possibly detrimental surgery by getting my teeth back into proper alignment. I can’t say enough about their wonderful practice!

During a vacation to Charleston, I found myself needing emergency treatment to repair a veneer. Dr. Martin Toporek and his staff were incredible! I was beyond impressed with their services. They saw me that day, treated me with the utmost care quickly, kindly, and professionally. I would highly recommend them for emergency services as well for primary dentistry (if I lived in Charleston!).

Not sure what these other people are talking about. The dentist came recommended from two (plus) work friends. He is a second generation dentist- and it shows. He is professional, knowledge, and efficient. He is literally booked two months out- if that tells you anything. I came in for a cleaning and had been putting off a routine filling. The cleaning was super thorough. I knew which tooth was bad, but he quickly pointed it out and scheduled a follow-up to fix it. Had the filling done earlier today- I was in and out in 50 minutes. No tenderness, no drooling, and was nearly painless because of the state of the art “wand” they use to localize the anesthetic! I would recommend him to anyone- including my family!

I just have to share what a delight it is to be a patient here. I hadn’t had my teeth cleaned in over 15 years because I didn’t grow up with dental care and had a slight dental trauma as a child. So you can imagine what kinda work they needed. Dr. Martin and his team are INCREDIBLE. They walk you through every little step and ensure your comfort and understanding of everything. Also, Destiny cleaned my teeth and I’d honestly do it everyday it was such an easy experience. She’s incredible gentle, kind, and caring. Her cleaning was so relaxing and painless, like a little massage. Thank you WADA!!

Dr. Martin Toporek is skilled and passionate about his job. I absolutely recommend this practice. They are friendly, organized, and detail-oriented. This is for both regular/routine dental checks and for anything extreme/cosmetic. They excel at both. They have processes down, are so well trained on how to ensure the comfort of the patient, and are absolutely cutting edge. They will find the best tools to get the job done. Every time in there, I am pleasantly surprised by how they anticipate needs and make well researched and effective recommendations. Dr. Toporek himself takes a very education based approach. He explains what he is doing and why it is important often as he works.

They’ve been my Dentist for 5 years. I’ve lived in many places so I’ve seen many Dentist. Doctor Martin is the best I’ve been to. Ever. And he has the most caring staff, the Hygienist here are beyond superlatives. Highly recommend them. The 5 star rating system needs to be modified for West Ashley Dental. This place gets 10 stars easily! The entire experience is beyond belief.

We’ve been going to West Ashley Dental for years. Dr. Martin and his staff are extremely capable and caring. All three of my kids are comfortable in his office and never resist their appointments :-). Dental cleanings are thorough and quick (no joke – one of my more relaxing 45 minutes of my month). I usually don’t give reviews – but they really deserve the credit. Also a great location in central West Ashley.

I was blown away by this practice from my 1st time there (just for Zoom) and immediately switched over & have brought my family with me! The attention, care and personal touches this dental practice does is above and beyond. I’m honored to be a patient there & feel so cared for. I highly recommend, even if you like your current dentist.. we did, but it’s made all the difference!!!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Martin since I was 13 years old, so nearly 10 years now and I could never imagine going to see anyone else. I’m terrified of anyone touching, drilling holes into my teeth, ya know the works, BUT Dr. Martin is the most gentle dentist out there. He’s caring and patient for anyone who’s faint at heart when it comes to their teeth. All of my fillings, caps, and dental work have been impeccable even while squirming. Destiny, the dental hygienist always has a smile on her face and makes you feel as comfortable as possible at all times. She does an extremely thorough job and is over-all fabulous to be around! Mrs. Nancy at the front desk remembers all of the patients and is warm, sweet, and welcoming! Dr. Martin’s and his awesome team are the only people I will go see. Once I move, I will coming back hundreds of miles to just see them, because no one can match their abilities.

I love Dr. Toporek and the WADA staff! I have been a Toporek patient for 49 years having started with Dr. Stanley Toporek. I stayed because he and his staff have helped me take care of my teeth and because his dentistry was always up to date and meticulous. I’m staying with Dr. Martin Toporek for the same reasons. Yes, there are dentists closer to me, but the 18 mile drive is worth the effort.
