Love at first drill! I was so afraid to go to the dentist for the last ten years. When I moved back to Pittsburgh, the dental hygienist at the first practice was literally yelling at me because I could not fully open my mouth due a tmj related injury. It was such a bad experience, I neglected my teeth. A year and half ago, I went to dentist number 2. I did not know that they had such an awful reputation. An expensive reputation on top of that. I spent 3k out of pocket for crowns that will basically need redone. I had an appointment today with Dr Darlene. Let me first say that Zoe (she works billing/insurance) was awesome and patient. I finally decided to buy dental insurance and did not realize it is a pain to get a descent doctor assigned to you. Darlene had to call the insurance company a handful of times. And she was just great. Angel is one of the dental hygienists/assistants. She is a very funny and a helpful woman. I had a few questions, and Angel was more than happy to show me on the model. She’s a smart cookie. Dr Darlene, a big thank you. She had to see me on an emergency basis. I had a gaping hole in my tooth. I was terrified of going based on previous experiences. She is a very intelligent woman along with being incredibly precise. You can just tell that she knows her stuff. The doctor also has a very pleasant bed side manner. People should not do what I have done in the past in regards of not going because of being scared. This will be a long process to bring my teeth to a healthy level. This is how a business should be ran. Thank you so very much! I would give them a 100 out of 5 stars if I could.

I had a dental emergency and was not a patient. I called and they saw me that day within hours. Staff was very professional, took care of my problem (Thank God!), and there was just a genuine energy of caring and compassion from both docs and the assistant. With no dental insurance, taking care of my teeth has always been on the back burner. I’m so glad to have found a place to get back on track with that. 😉
