First time seeing Dr. Vera.  I’m 41 and until now I hated the routine dental visits.  Today Dr. Vera did a pretty amazing job at changing that way of thinking.  She is funny, patient, gentle and extremely thorough. She got into things I had never heard before.  Certainly goes above and beyond and I am incredibly happy to have found my new and life long dentist.  I highly recommend!! She is amazing!   NYC Office is modern and clean and staff is friendly and courteous.  I can’t say enough.  I’m very please!  See you in six months Dr. V!!!

Dr. Vera is the most amazing, kind, and passionate dentist I’ve ever been to. I never leave reviews but I was so blown away by the entire experience that I felt like sharing. Let me explain. Unlike most doctors offices: scheduling was fast and easy, after filling out basic forms I had virtually no wait to see her, the staff was helpful and friendly, and here’s the most important part: Dr. Vera actually cared about me! She took the time to explain the few issues I had with my teeth and answered every single question I had. She then recommended a treatment plan that was best for me based on what we discussed. I’ve been to so many other doctors that ignored my concerns and spent the minimum amount of time required to get me out the door. This was the total opposite…Mind blown. Dr. Vera went above and beyond for me and I’d give her 10 stars if I could.

I found Dr V about 2 years ago in her Brooklyn office. I have since followed her to her new office and I sincerely have found my life long dentist so long as she remains in the tristate area. She is just so amazing and caters to my needs no matter what it be. The new office is great, but I wouldn’t recommend driving being there’s no parking around there. There is public transportation around so save yourself the headache and don’t drive.

I was struggling with grinding my teeth while I sleep my whole life and Dr. Vera Chernomordik was my hero. She patiently worked with me to create the perfect night guard solution that was more durable and lasted longer. I no longer have headaches or feel sore around my jaw when I wake up or am eating which has been life changing. I’ve been going to her ever since for routine checkups and cleanings and am incredibly impressed with her professionalism and extremely friendly personality. She’s the best dentist I’ve ever been to and I genuinely recommend her to everyone.

Dr.Vera is an excellent dentist. She took the time to explain every procedure she was doing. For example, when i got my teeth whitened, Dr.Vera was very supportive, and thorough when explaining the process. She is a professional and has a naturally lovely personality. I hate going to the dentists, I have went through about 10 doctors through out my life and hated the trip to their chair every single time. A friend of mine recommend that i go to Dr. Vera Chernomordik for a consultation since my last doctor told me I need to extract all 4 of my wisdom teeth ASAP. I want to avoid surgery at any cost so I wanted a second opinion. I got there shortly after 10 and didn’t wait long to get admitted. The place was very clean and comfy and Dr. Chernomordik was kind and funny. I mean i was laughing even without laughing gas 🙂 She took a look at my teeth and we took some X-Rays and after processing all of this she told me that she does NOT recommends surgery at this point because of few solid reasons that she ran by me. After that she took pictures of my teeth with this awesome machine and actually showed me and explained how to read where my cavities are. After that she showed me how to read these teeth x-rays which no doctor has ever told me howto do. Overall I was fully comfortable with her professional approach and laid back atmosphere in her office. No need to be afraid of dentists no more! At the end of it all i got a nice teeth cleaning and we planned the rest of the workload for the upcoming appointments. She also gave me a little gift basket with some floss, toothpaste and a brand new toothbrush! She even allowed me to take a photo with her! In the end, I am sure that this is the ONLY Dentist i will ever go to.

Dr. Chernomordik is an excellent doctor. She is kind, gentle and extremely competent and sharp. She explains the course of treatment to you, is very honest about her concerns and hesitations and proceeds only after she is certain that what she has chosen is the best route possible. She has fantastic instincts, better than doctors twice her age. She will never overcharge and is actually very cost-conscious on your behalf. I have been to many dentists over the years as I have terrible teeth but nobody has ever made me feel as safe and well-cared for as Dr. Chernomordik.

I am not a fan of doctor’s offices (major understatement), or surgical instruments, or.. or.. And when I do go I feel like I never ask the right (or all the) questions, and if I don’t, the doctors will never bother to tell me. Today however was amazing: Dr. Vera was warm, and patient and honest, and funny, and she played Spotify MUSIC, and just so chill. She made me aware of everything she was going to do, did, or would do. There was an instant sense of trust. I was still nervous, but her hands were gentle, and she paid attention to every queue my body made, from sounds to gestures to EVERYTHING. My eyes were closed during the session but I just felt this warmth radiating from her… It was amazing I’ll be honest, I’m still not a fan of the dentist office, but having her as my dentist has already alleviated SO MUCH of my stress. As crazy as this may sound, I’m actually looking forward to my next visit. I feel like I’m in good hands with her. Five stars WELL deserved. She will make you feel safe.

There are few times in your life where you actually like your dentist post a complicated tooth extraction. Vera was amazingly confident, patient and took time explaining what she was doing and why things weren’t going as smoothly. A touch here a touch there; very consoling. In hindsight and in thinking about my prior dentists, no one compares. To prove it, I traveled all the way from TriBeCa to Ditmas Avenue just because I trust and know her to do good work. Hopefully, you feel the same way and would highly recommend.

Dr. Chernomordik is one of the best in Brooklyn. I debated whether I should do this review, because I don’t want the wait time for an appointment to increase (which isn’t bad at all anyway), but she’s too good. Very professional, finished in the top of her class at Boston University, and overall a very lovely person to work with. I’ll be back!

I have had a love / hate relationship with dentists my whole life ( sigh genetics) and was with Soho dental group for the longest time until my doctor moved states. I was desperate to find a dentist that walks you though the process, explains the options that are available to you and is gentle when doing work. Needless to say I think I’ve found one for the rest of my life. I love coming to see Dr.Vera who is all of the above and also plays great tunes and will even put on your favorite songs on Spotify.

Dr Vera Chernomordik is an amazing dentist and person. When you come to her office, there is always music playing, because we all scared of dentists, and Dr Vera is making sure to keep us relaxed. She does an incredible job, she is also very gentle. Dr Vera did the Invisalign teeth straightening and I can’t stop smiling from now on. My teeth look amazing.

Seeing Dr. Chernomordik was a great experience. She was very attentive, explained everything thoroughly, and did her best to answer all my questions and address my concerns. She has a very warm, reassuring presence. I did not feel one bit rushed. I’ve had harsh/painful dental cleanings in the past, but she was very gentle, cautious and thorough. My teeth have never felt/looked better!

Dr. Vera is hands down the best dentist I’ve ever been to. She was kind, passionate, and took the time to explain what was going on with my teeth. I had a tooth that had a huge cavity and on the verge of falling apart. There were a few options and I wasn’t sure about what to do next. Dr. Vera answered every question I had and made me feel at ease. Unlike other doctors that push you into whatever they prefer, she recommended a treatment plan that was best for me based on what we talked about. I’ve been to so many other doctors that basically ignored my concerns and did whatever was best for them – this was the complete opposite. Dr. Vera went above and beyond, I’d give her way more than 5 stars if I could.

Dr. Vera rocks. Like, seriously. If you don’t want to dread going to the dentist anymore, then bring yourself over here, along with those pearly whites. (And if they’re not pearly white, she’ll hook you up there too). Knowledgeable, honest, gentle, and helpful. What else can you ask for in a dentist?!

I am a patient of Dr. Vera and I absolutely adore her! Not only is she a warm and caring person, she is an exceptional doctor. Extremely knowledgeable in her field, she took care of multiple dental emergencies for me and was able to save my teeth on more than one occasion. I have always been a chicken when it comes to dentists but she has proven time and time again that going to the dentist doesn’t have to be a painful experience. Honestly, she is so good that I am trying to change my insurance coverage, so that I can go back to her. Best dentist ever.
