I had an extremely positive first experience at this office. It is clean and the staff is very friendly. I came in for a cleaning and cannot say enough good things about the Hygienist Priyanka. She was warm and made me feel very comfortable and heard. She is detailed and measured in her approach. I have sensitivity but could barely feel any discomfort during the cleaning. Dr. Boujaran came in at the end of my visit to review my x-rays and discuss any required treatment. She was good. I left the office feeling like a million bucks and was very much looking forward to my next appointment.

I have been a patient of Dr. Azar for more that 20 years and I am overwhelmingly satisfied. She and her staff are thoughtful and kind and make the experience of going to the dentist as painless as possible. I am thinking specifically about the ultra-sonic teeth cleaning (the process where they scrape the tarter off your teeth with an electrified metal tooth pick). This is the part of the process that gives me the most dread, but the wonderful team at Tribeca Dental Club, take their time and do it in a way that is gentle and free of pain. It makes a huge difference. They also are there for emergency visits and are there to accommodate the unexpected tooth issue. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I thought I had written a review before, I guess not. I went to Dr Bourjaran with what I thought was a minor cosmetic fix and cleaning. It turned out that after Chemo and Radiation al lot of damage had been done to my teeth.I could see it for myself in the x-rays. She worked up a treatment plan which will take about 1 year. I am very happy with the treatment and Holistic approach done on a sensible schedule giving you time to heal. I do not understand the negative reviews on here. I too need some onlays done but realistically those fillings must be 35+ years old. I am on a regular hygienist schedule which after the initial deep cleaning is now a breeze.

So professional and sympathetic to my questions and concerns. I could tell from the first day that every person working there took an extreme amount of pride in their work and seemed to me to be more knowledgable than my previous dentist. Olga, at the front desk, makes sure I am always in the loop and that I never miss an appointment and responds immediately by email, text, ect. to whatever question I might have. I feel incredibly valued as a patient and person by the entire staff and even though they are out of my health insurance network it is worth it to me to keep going there.

What a great and thorough dentist. Because of her I avoided TWO root canals. She will not let you get up from the chair until every question, concern, pain, whatever is answered or resolved. I had some serious work done and she took pictures every step of the way so that she could explain what the problem was and what she was doing and why. She is hesitant to work “too much” on a tooth, and is always fighting to save as much of the tooth structure as possible, unlike most dentists who are drill-happy so they can collect more $$ from insurance (which is how I came to her anyway, from a bad dentist who damaged my teeth). She has a bit of a holistic approach to dentistry and body health in general, and the equipment she uses is the most up to date I’ve seen. I’ve been to 5 dentists in NYC and she outshines them all.

Dr B. and her staff are incredibly professional and are super friendly and warm. I found Dr B. after searching for an office that had evening hours, was close to my job, and could do a series of procedures: I wanted to get my wisdom teeth removed, invisalign, and my routine cleanings all at one place. Dr B and her staff do it all. The wisdom extraction was tricky but she did it as gently as she could and provided me with breaks during the procedure to calm my nerves. When it was all over, it healed nicely with little to no pain. My invisalign process has been going well. She had to glue buttons on many of my teeth for the invisalign to work properly. When I informed her about my upcoming wedding, she made a plan to make sure my smile was perfect for my big day. A few days before my wedding, she removed the buttons and bleached my teeth. I was so happy I didn’t have to worry about my smile; my teeth were as white as my gown. After my wedding, she put the buttons back on and I resumed the trays. The dental hygienist is also very thorough, she shows me ways to improve my oral care and even puts Vaseline on my lips before the cleaning which is such a nice touch. The goody bags are great too! Appointments are easy to remember because you’ll get reminder texts, and I’ve never had an issue with billing. I’ve been a patient of Dr B’s for over a year. I definitely recommend!

The experience seeing Dr. Boujaran was more like going to the spa than the dentist! The office is beautifully designed, and has the most up to date equipment. Definitely the best dentist I’ve been to. Everyone there is great and I’m always recognized when I walk in. They take the time to explain everything going on and all of your options up front. I had a significant number of cavities filled late last year and had to have a porcelain implant made for a tooth with a particularly extensive cavity. When the implant chipped a few months later, I was seen promptly and they had a replacement made and inserted free of charge. I highly recommend them.

2 root canals, 4 wisdom teeth pulled, 6 cavities filled in and 2 years later, here I am! This place has been my savior with regards to dental hygiene. Its an easy, convenient walk from my job, they have good hours and an excellent staff who help you with anything that you may need. Sometimes they are a bit unsure of insurance policies so you should double check with your insurance if you have any copayments. Other than that, I only have good things to say about this place and I’ve recommended them to everyone I know.

2 wisdom teeth pulled, 1 cap, 2 fillings… multiple cleanings I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Not only does the Doctor go over all of your options – she takes the time to explain everything that will happen depending on your choice. Even when I am not being treated by her, she will always recognize me and come by to say hello! Her staff is warm and welcoming as well – they go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and at ease. I have never waited longer than 5 min to be seen, and they have been lenient with me when I run a little late! In fact, she first saw me as a walk-in – I was so impressed that I ended up switching my dentist to her full time 2 years ago and I haven’t looked back since! The use of the latest tech is a real plus. Even the mechanism she uses to inject the novocaine makes the process pain free! It is something that should be standard in ALL dentist offices.

They offer Zoom whitening, which I will make use of soon. A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR

Dr. Azar Boujaran is a general dentist with special emphasis on cosmetic procedures. Dr. Boujaran is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry as well as American Dental Association. She is also an alumni of The Kois Center of advanced dentistry through science. She attended New York University School of Dentistry. During her time at NYU she was chosen to perform an externship at the Panum University in Copenhagen, Denmark. She was then selected for a residency at the Kings Borough Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Boujaran continually strives to be on the cutting edge of dentistry both from a technical skill level as well as a personal level. She believes that treating teeth is only part of the whole dental picture. The bigger and more important part is treating the patient as a whole and giving patients a positive overall experience. She strongly believes in creating a dental team to offer the highest quality and technical dentistry available. Creating a positive dental experience no matter what the patient has experienced in the past. To this end, she has completed the Level 1 Continuum at the Pankey Institute and is the founder of the Tooth Fairy Studio. She is also certified in Conscious Sedation. Dr. Boujaran started the Tooth Fairy Studio with the idea that creating a positive dental experience starts at the youngest possible age.
