Dr Voong and her staff were very friendly and professional. She will answer all your questions about procedures and insurance costs. I had an extraction which was virtually painless. She also let me know about the different choices I had to replace it and approximate costs.

First cleaning in 5 years. I felt that Dr. Voong was very thorough with my not-so-routine cleaning. Although my appointment was the last one of the day, she didn’t rush through the procedure and took the time out to listen to me go on about what my teeth have gone through. Dr. Voong was very helpful when she explained what my options were for the work that needs to be done. She listened to my concerns and gave her advice without putting any pressure on me. Her team was respectful and eager to do the job well.

Came here recently for a cleaning and filling while visiting family for the holidays. The appointment was quick and easy with the staff super friendly. Parking in the Richmond neighborhood can be a bit tricky, however, it’s right by the Park Presidio connector road and there’s actually a lof of parking so I didn’t have to stress about getting to the location super early to look for parking. Overall, a really pleasant experience, and will come back when I need more dental work.

After moving to the city on my own, I entered Adulthood where laziness and confusion lay rampant. Long story short, I haven’t gone to the dentist in over a year. (I can hear your gasps.) I found Dr. Voong through my insurance search engine… and boy, am I glad! The entire office is awesome. Sue, the receptionist/dental assistant, is so friendly! She even shook my hand when I came in. Dr. Voong is efficient, professional but also a very sweet woman. She answered my insipid questions and advised me to change my dental habits out of concern for my health. I could tell she really cared. She even took time to show me how to brush and floss correctly and I got coupons for mouthwash! Whoo! Another huge plus was the fact that both Sue and Dr. Voong went over insurance with me. For a newbie to Adulthood and Insurance Crap this was INDISPENSABLE for my sanity. 🙂 I truly appreciated it. I’ve never hated going to the dentist… but now I think I might like it a little too much. I cannot wait until my next appointment. Hahaha! 😀

Saw Dr. Voong for many years and could not have been happier. She was the best dentist I’d ever had. Kind, knowledgeable, patient, and very skilled at what she does. My teeth reached the pinnacle of their health under her care! Her staff was always friendly, and office always well-kept. Can’t recommend her practice enough

I’ve been hunting for a new place to get my teeth checked. This was everything I’d hoped for and more. They’re really comprehensive in terms of cleaning and explaining things. Even though I have the top tier Sonicare brush, going here still makes me feel cleaner than when I came in.

She talked me through everything she was doing to create a new crown and why the temporary from another Dentist kept failing. She has a TV set on the ceiling which I found helpful in distracting me from thinking about the dental work. We also spent about ten minutes just getting to know each other which is very comforting when someone is about to inflict pain in your open mouth!

I’ve been to Dr. Voong 3 times now. First time, I’ve panicked before a regular cavity filling (it was my first in years) and she proved to be very understanding of the situation. We started off with regular teeth cleaning to ease into it. At this point I consider her MY dentist, and that’s quite a statement coming from me – in one month, I saw 3 different dentists since I really wanted to make the most educated decision in regards a possible course of treatment for my tooth (root canal vs cavity filling vs tooth pull out). P.S. It’s worth noticing that the dentist office has a tv mounted on the ceiling, which is a great distraction during work on your teeth.

My wife and I went in for our teeth-cleaning at SF Chiropractic & Dentistry, and from the moment we stepped through the doors, we were treated with a warm and inviting environment. The office is bright, clean, and tastefully decorated, and the whole place definitely puts you at ease (especially important, considering that you’re about to get your back and / or teeth worked on!) The staff made sure that we were well-attended and comfortable during the entire time, and they even had a great sense of humor, keeping things light and breezy (again, great for fending off any potential white-coat jitters!) When the actual teeth-cleaning took place, I was quite relaxed, and the whole experience actually turned out quite pleasant — no small feat for a dentist visit! Kudos to my dentist, who I think is the most thorough and detail-oriented professional I’ve ever had the chance to open my mouth for. When that next routine exam comes up again, I might actually look forward to seeing the dentist for once! I’ll definitely be back again, and it might even be to check out that crick in my neck — talk about a great one-stop shop for all of your bodily needs!
