What a wonderful experience! I am visiting from out of town and had a minor dental emergency that was very painful and Above Dental was able to see me to assess the very same day, and get me on the schedule within two business days for the procedure. The office is very soothing and upscale, the whole staff is very kind, helpful, caring and thorough and the Dr. made me feel extremely comfortable very quickly and brought his sense of humor in full swing – overall I don’t think it could have gone any better! I had been putting off seeing the dentist because of anxiety and start to finish they made every step smooth and compassionate – truly grateful for them, only wish I lived here so I could go back regularly

Hands down the best customer service experience I’ve ever had and it was in a dental office! I come in and am greeted warmly, then the receptionist lady shows us around the office, offers us coffee and a wifi password, and even the TV room. Then gives my kids a gift to welcome them to the office. This is all before even getting into the dental chair. Then they clean my kids teeth and are super nice to them. The whole experience just blew me away!

I think Above Dental is by far the best dental office that I know of in the area. All their staff are very friendly and the dentist/hygienists make it a point to get to know you and develop a meaningful relationship with you as a customer. I really like how they schedule you the same hygienist each time, that lets you really get know them over time. My wife and I love seeing our hygienist Binh!

My family and I have been seeing Dr Brice since we moved to Coos Bay 5 years ago. He and his staff have taken such good care of us!! When important procedures are done, he makes sure to follow up with a phone call to see how we are doing. An example would be when my daughter had her wisdom teeth pulled. He called to check up on her to make sure she was doing okay. This past weekend I had a dental procedure done and Dr Brice called to see how I was doing. Going to the dentist is not my favorite thing to do, but they have a gentle touch. Thank you Apple Dental for making the experience more comfortable!

We aren’t residents of this area, but we come up every summer for a few months. Hubby had a crown go astray, we called Above Dental, they got us in within three days, repaired that wayward crown and sent us on our way. Took our dental insurance card, no problems. I was terrified to go to the dentist. Above dental staff is very friendly and respectful! They are thorough and let you know the options and the cost of each procedure. I had to have an extraction that was at the gumline and some fillings. I was very nervous at first but Dr Brice was good and so was the dental assistant. My procedures cost me less than $120 which was reasonable.

I was able to obtain a same day appointment. The staff was very courteous and gave me a quick overview of the facility. After completing some basic paperwork I was whisked away to receive treatment. There was brief screening interview to understand my needs and take a necessary exray. The dentist came promptly after the interview.and examined me. He played out a treatment planned referring me to a root canal specialist. Planned agreed to, the appointment was wrapped up and was discharged. The staff was excellent and very informative through the entire process. I was very impressed and pleased with the service.

I had the best time at Apple Dental! When was the last time you said that about YOUR dentist? From start to finish their whole office was the epitome of friendly professionalism. I called their office inquiring to see if they accepted my insurance even though they were not listed on my insurance’s “preferred” list. After a quick fact check and a guarantee they had me scheduled for my first appointment and a cleaning within the week. Everyone was very helpful and friendly while I filled out my paperwork. They welcomed me with a gift bag of dental care accessories and a box of candy from Cranberry Sweets which I thought was right on the nose lol! I had my teeth cleaned over two appointments and began a treatment plan for the next year after my baby is born. Today I received a statement in the mail and when I called to ask a few questions they were more than helpful. I would highly recommend Apple Dental for all your dental care!

Not only is this dental office beautiful, every staff member is so incredibly kind! Finding a new dentist after moving is always a pain but I am so thankful to my neighbor for recommending this office! Binh was my hygienist and she made the experience so pleasant. She checked in to make sure I was comfortable throughout and explained everything thoroughly. Last year I experienced a broken veneer on front tooth, so called Above Dental. I am new in town and had no dentist so had no insurance either. Dr Bryce did reattach the broken piece, but told me it may not last too long, and it didn’t. He gave me a quote of $1021 for a completely new four tooth veneer. I had to go back to California anyhow, so decided to get a dentist there to do the work with my old dental plan. The old dentist said I could not have veneers and only caps which were $2400.00 and I would have to pay $1800.00. So, I said , No. Back in Coos Bay, my husband said to try his dentist to se if it would be cheaper, just to see. I made the appointment and was informed that my fee was $3200.00. And wiht no nsurance, I had to pay the whole thing. So, I realized that Above Dental gave me the best deal and were so much more pleasant than the others. I felt they wanted to help, rather than just see how much money they could get out of me. Dr Bryce and his assistants did a great job and I am very happy about the job. And they didn’t lie to me, and I actually got caps like the others said I needed.

Above Dental was a pleasant surprise!!! The got me in on a moment’s notice (next day) for some long over due cleaning, exam and prep for a crown. The staff was efficient and VERY friendly. They have several dentists and hygienists all working at the same time and can handle a big patient load. Binh my hygienist was great! She nicely pointed out how I could better take care of my teeth and gums, then got to work and cleaned, no messing around! She gave me lots of tips on flossing and brushing which I needed. Then Dr. Johnson came in to look at my broken tooth (also very nice) They told me what I needed and how much it would cost and scheduled me for the next day. I walked out clean and fresh and smiling! And with a new Hydro Floss and replacement heads for my Sonicare at a great price… I would recommend Above Dental highly to anyone.

I am so happy I found Apple Dental in North Bend! Dr. Brice and his staff are professional and nice to be around. I came to him as a nervous, frightened patient who needed work done. I chose him because the appointment person was understanding and encouraging about my fear of dental procedures. When I arrived, the receptionist was so nice I felt like I was a long lost friend. The office is nice and clean, and comfortable. Then Dr. Brice was the best part. He is easy to be with, friendly, and good at what he does. He didn’t push me in to anything, he listened, he went slow, and worked with me. He immediately put me at easy. He has a large staff and they are all very nice. Then once the work (3 crowns) proceeded it all went smoothly without any discomfort! Dr. Brice is gentle, sensitive, experienced and I have to say, fun! By the way, the work he did cost almost half of what I had been quoted by another dentist!! I think Apple Dental, Dr. Brice and his whole staff are just the best! My teeth feel wonderful, I feel so confident about going to the dentist now, and I am taking better care of my teeth thanks to the nice people at Apple Dental.

Let me start off by saying I’m not a big fan of going to the dentist. I have a receding gumline and in the past 8 years, I’ve gone less and less. I have this fear of them using the ultrasonic scaler and hitting the nerve tissue and it’s a terrible feeling to have. But being an adult, I’m all about preventative maintenance. So I did my research for a clinic worth visiting, which led me to Above Dental. The hospitality simply cannot be beat. The moment you step in and they recognize you’re a new customer, you’re practically served everything on a gold platter. They are kind, upbeat, and welcome you in an almost weird way that makes you glad you’re there. The facility is impeccable. It’s clean and bright with up to date equipment. My dental hygienist was Binh. If you’re terrified of the dentist, she’s the one you want to seek out. She made me feel comfortable the entire time I was clenching the armrests. She opted to hand scale vs using the ultrasonic scaler (I call it the mini water pressure gun). She took periodic brakes to make sure I was comfortable and not in any pain. The entire time she had me in that chair, she was kind and sweet. She paid attention to the sensitive areas and did an amazing job. I can’t express my gratitude towards her. Simply the best! Thank you Binh and team at Above Dental!

I am VERY picky when it comes to dentist’s and Dr. Brice REALLY impressed me. They got me in super quick and were extremely affordable. My first impressions coming here were wonderful, they had a beautiful office that was super clean and very comfortable. Not your typical office… they really made their lobby comfortable feeling, like you were in a home not a doctors office. After I filled out my paperwork, the receptionist handed me a welcome gift (a box of chocolates from Cranberry Sweets which is pretty spendy!). This won my heart… What kind of dentist gives you a box of chocolates?! AN AMAZING ONE!!! Anyway, aside from being blown away by this, I was a bit skeptical when I met this guy. He was extremely nice and very professional but because he looked so young I thought for sure this must be the catch…. Boy was I wrong. Never felt a thing and the cavity I had was between my two front teeth and had also been worked on before by 2 other dentists. He was finally the dentist that made my smile the way it used to be 15 years ago and the entire visit was under 30 minutes. His bedside manner blew me away and I would describe his work as art- it was that flawless. He truly is gifted at what he does, and I have recommended him to everyone I know. He is also the first dentist I have had that didn’t lecture me about anything and didn’t push for my next appointment which I really appreciated. He let me know what I was up against and left the decision making up to me. Now that I live out of state, I will be flying back to North Bend for ALL my dental work. They really are that good.

This off literally rolls out the red carpet for you. Let me tell you my experience (or my husbands rather) So my husbands in pain. Cant get him in for MONTHS. Here I am, powerless, hubs howling in pain so I do the only thing I can and begin calling. Above is located less than a block from us and they got him in in only 2 hours. like I said the lady welcomed us with a clip board and introduced herself straight away motioning to a fully stocked coffee/tea bar. Then after seeing my husbands state of mind. Did menton Joe is a man boy)? he is trembling. We get placed in a private room with big comfy chairs. They offered an array of things from gas to a stress ball, a lavender scented hot towel, blankets… On to the fun part. Heather was an Angel. She took pictures and we realized why it was going to so long to get joe in….I also learned the true meaning of a snarley tooth. The base of my husbands molar was curved and could not just be yanked out. Like I mother would I begged doctor “there must be something….” he DID extract the tooth. not long later my husband was out of tooth pain and is on the mend. Of course it was not all lemon drops and rainbows (though they gave us a rather sweet parting gift) belgian chocolates. He said the doctor did work long and hard, was attentive and listened to Joe. The process I was not present for, but my hub would have told me if it was anything like the terror I had experienced elsewhere. I was almost jealous!
