Because I have such painfully sensitive teeth and extremely receding gums, I really need gentle dentistry where they respect and value the patient’s needs. I am also ultra sensitive to chemical smells, like Clorox, so the patient area needs to be no, or low, fragranced. This business read my info and listened respectfully while I talked about my needs and concerns. The dental hygienist, Diedre, was very conscious and careful with my first deep cleaning. I highly recommend her, probably with children, also, I would imagine. And, the dentist, Dr. Giron, was attentive and pleasant. Both were very informative of what they were doing, and what more I would need done, and why. They were non-sales like, which I greatly appreciated since I do not have a job or money for dental care, being an older person with limiting physical issues. My dental care is essential for being able to bite or chew, maintain, gain healthful weight. I am working on getting dental assistance so I can continue the gum disease work I so need from them, now that I finally found a place that is understanding of my unavoidable sensitivities.

ABQ Dentistry is the first doctor that took my suspected mercury allergy seriously. They had the expertise to know I needed a Clifford test, and they use that information consistently to choose products that kept me from having a reaction. I felt safe having all of the amalgam removed from my mouth. ABQ Dentistry kept me well informed throughout the process. I am so happy to have found this dentist!

Dr Giron is the only dentist I’ve been to (and that’s very many!) that I am so comfortable with, that I fall asleep during the visit. I mean that literally. I’ve fallen asleep during cavity fillings and crown work. The hygienists and staff are just as comforting as Dr Giron and, collectively, make an incredible team. Dr. Giron is my family’s regular dentist. Like most offices, her practice is closed send to regular business. I broke an old crown on a tooth today around noon. I called the emergency number for her office. Within an hour, Dr. Giron called me and set up an appointment to take care of my tooth the same day at 3:30. Great service!

Dr. Giron is the finest dentist I have ever received treatment from. She is truly an artist at her craft. Dr. Giron took her time to prep me for two crowns. I appreciated the care she took to be sure the lab had what they needed to build the crowns as I have a difficult bite issue. The crowns went in with ease and look and feel fantastic! I love the fact that she is a wholistic dentist. Dr. Giron took great focus to keep a friend who was removing 8 cavities with mercury safe while doing the amazing art of reconstructing the teeth. I feel so blessed to have found Dr. Giron. If I could give her more stars, I would!

Very happy to have found ABQ Dentistry and Wellness when I moved to Albuquerque in 2019. I had avoided going to the dentist for a few years because of bad experiences, and was particularly interested in their wholistic approach. They have me back on track with cleaning and a plan for dealing with some much needed work. Feel very confident with Dr. Giron and the entire staff, especially Dee who is the best hygienist I’ve ever had — thorough yet doesn’t leave me sore, even after a deep cleaning — she is so sweet and makes an unpleasant but necessary task much more bearable.

My visit to Dr. Giron’s office was one of my top three dental experiences ever. I do not think I’ve encountered a more kind and conscientious hygienist than Dee. Dr. Giron clearly knows her craft in great detail. She found a crack in a tooth that I had no idea about but when she touched it, it was CLEARLY there. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to have it tended to now, while our positive covid number are low rather than suddenly having a dental emergency in the late fall or middle of winter when we’re in the 2nd wave of this horrible pandemic.

This is the best place in Albuquerque to have dental work done. Dr. Giron is an excellent dentist. She is very skilled and thorough. I love Dr. Giron, Dee, and their staff! After many years with no dental insurance and prior scary dental experiences, my teeth are unfortunately in rough shape. Starting last year, Dr. Giron did a treatment plan, prioritized issues and referred me to a great oral surgeon. Dee got started on the deep cleaning and at each appt, is gentle, thorough and follows up with questions / observations from prior appt. Recently, Dr. Giron consulted with me on the phone for like 40 minutes and then she called oral surgeon regarding upcoming procedure and my specific needs. During CV19, their screening and sanitizing protocol is on point. These folks clearly care about what they do, and it shows! Grateful.
