Don’t know why there aren’t more reviews for Dr. Vilner. I guess they all show up under Accord Dental. The service from this dental office was amazing. Be forewarned, my review will come across as “too good to be true,” but I’m really glad (okay, I’m super excited as you’ll read) that we found this practice. My wife needed two baby teeth replaced (the adult teeth weren’t present) and I researched far and wide for a specialist that could do ceramic implants rather than titanium (I try to minimize metal in the body to minimize any possible detriment that might occur). My search eventually lead me to Dr. Vilner. Their staff was very helpful over the phone; each time I called I got a professional, friendly person to speak with. If the person with whom I spoke didn’t know the answer, they were quick to get the right person on the phone to answer my questions. The staff couldn’t say enough nice things about Dr. Vilner. My regular dentist wasn’t convinced that ceramic implants were the way to go. Dr. Vilner took the time to personally e-mail me with responses to my regular dentist’s concerns. Who takes the time to do that?! Wow. Nevertheless, even with all the research, my wife was hesitant to have the procedure done, although it’s necessary, and she was willing to put it off until it became an unbearable problem. Her anxiety level was an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10. After her initial visit, she had a hard time describing Dr. Vilner’s level of professionalism, ‘niceness’ and bedside manner. I took her the day of surgery and spoke to the staff at the front desk and asked some questions about sedation since my wife was so nervous. They immediately went to get Dr. Vilner (to my embarrassment, since I knew he must be busy) and he came out front to listen to my concerns. He’s so nice, compassionate, humble and unhurried with the sincere nature that can’t be learned; he’s definitely called to do this work. It’s not possible to describe his demeanor with words. He took time reassuring my wife beforehand, did the procedure in much less time then anticipated, and my wife has only good things to say about him. She’s so happy Dr. Vilner was her surgeon. She goes back in a few months to get the crowns fitted. Can’t say enough good things at this point. If you need oral surgery, do yourself a favor and visit Dr. Vilner for an evaluation.
