The Dentist here is top notch and will take the time to make sure that everything done to you is correct and top notch as well. I first saw Dr. Pallavi Rakesh to have a crown replaced after the existing one fell off after being on only 5 years. I called Ace Family Dental on a Monday afternoon and they were able to see me the following morning. I was very nervous seeing a new dentist but Dr. Rakesh and her staff made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Dr. Rakesh examined my tooth and existing crown and made the recommendation for a new crown, she preped the tooth and placed a temporary crown which gave me no problems or sensitivity at all. My new crown was placed after 2 weeks and that visit went very well, I have not had any discomfort whatsoever. I had never been to a woman dentist prior to Dr. Rakesh, she is amazing and with her small hands doesn’t make your mouth feel like it’s not being stretched and forced open for the bigger man hands. I have found my new dentist in Dr. Rakesh and plan to continue my dental care with her. I highly recommend Dr. Rakesh.

I hope my review will give justice to this place. Apart from the fact that Dr. Rakesh and her team are absolutely amazing people, here is why I think you should consider going to this clinic. 1. Cleanliness. When it comes to dental and medical offices, one should always expect a clean environment to ensure the safety and well being of patients. I truly believe that Dr. Rakesh and the team took it to the next level and made sure that patients are protected and feel comfortable in terms of cleanliness. There are hand sanitizers in every corner and the staff thoroughly cleans and sanitizes all of the equipment after every use. The dental assistant’s thorough sterilization of the X-ray machine and all the pieces of equipment gave me extra assurance that they take their cleaning seriously. 2. Professionalism. This is the main reason why I’m writing this review. I was very pleased with the dental cleaning procedure that Patricia performed on me. This is by far has been the most detailed and comprehensive dental cleaning I have ever had. The way she explained every single element was so informative that at one point I felt that I am in a dental classroom. She put together an all-inclusive treatment plan based on her observations during the cleaning, which was extremely useful for me. She was jokingly saying that we have developed a bond at the end, but if every clinic could develop such a bond with every patient, I think we would be living in a different, better world. I will absolutely recommend this place to my friends and family because I couldn’t wish for a better service.

Absolutely wonderful service. Very easy to make an appointment, they were more than willing to fit me in the next business day for a dental emergency, even though I had called after business hours the night before. Super friendly, willing to go over all the details and explain all the options for you. Dr. Rakesh was extremely nice and professional, my last few dentists had been very drill happy, but Dr. Rakesh, seemed to only want to do what I really needed. Will definitely be returning to Dr. Rakesh and her staff and recommending her to friends and family members in the future.

Great service! Today was my first visit. I was greeted when I entered and the front desk asked me if I was me. Which was nice since they must of been looking out for me. I did not wait long to go back. The entire staff is friendly and listened to what I had to say. My cleaning was great. I enjoyed the TVs in the room. The doctor explained my results of my visit and the front desk clearly communicated what my insurance would cover and not. Already scheduled my next visit! Only negative is that turning into the building and parking is a little tricky. You need to pay attention your first time.

This is a late review but this place is amazing. I’ve been here a few times and I’m always impressed. This doctor is wonderful. She’s very knowledgeable and gentle. She’s has fixed and filled so many of my tooth problems I believe we are friends. I have gone to so many bad dentist that I was very happy to have found her. They take same day appointment and the entire staff is friendly. The only thing I hate is my phone don’t have reception but they do have WiFi that pretty cool.

Nicole in the front office is amazing. She’s kind, knowledgeable and professional. The doctors and x ray tech can use some interpersonal skills training. My experience with ACE Dental was great! I had total extractions which were replaced with implants. During the process which took over six months, I was able to have numerous interactions with Dr Rakesh and her staff. The staff was always professional, warm and inviting. Prior to this procedure, (due to previous negative dentists experiences), I was terrified of going to the dentist. Dr. Rakesh was always so kind and reassuring until I actually, (which is hard to believe), looked forward to going to my appointments. Just wanted to add that I had to have 2 new crowns – I was not surprised by this news. I had the work done and the temporary crowns on 2 weeks ago. Again I was very pleased with the work and staff. My appt. to have the new crowns put in was today – but – I got a call last week that they were in so I got to go in early and get them! This is the first time I have ever had new crowns put in and they are perfect! No return visits due to a poor fit!! Wonderful Dentist and staff. Today was my appointment with Dr. Pallavi and I have to admit that it went really well despite my apprehensions. I had deep cleaning which required little bit of sedation. I am very scared of needles but Dr. Rakesh made me feel very comfortable that it hardly took an hour to finish off the job. Not just me even my toddler kids also had their first dental appointment and even they were comfortable. I, like most people do not enjoy the dentist.. However, Dr. Pallavi Rakesh is a fabulous dentist! I had to have two crowns done and the anesthesia was wearing off quickly due to how nervous I was and she would wait patiently and give me another shot to make sure I was never in any pain or discomfort. Dr. Rakesh explained everything that needed to be done so that I would understand and is very kind. The girl who works the front Mary, is also very helpful and sweet. Mary explains every cost and what was done so you know exactly what you are paying for. I am happy to say I have found a new Dentist and hopefully that will relive some of my dental anxiety. After moving to Apharetta from Southern California a year ago and being a dental chicken all my life, finding a dentist was not a top priority to me. That is, until I started experiencing pain in a tooth that had a failing root canal. I did my research and after seeing all the great reviews about Dr. Rakesh and her staff, I thought I’d give Ace Family Dental a try. I’m now on a dental treatment plan that addresses my gum health and implant to replace the failed tooth and am pleased to say that the experience has been great! Dr. Rakesh listened to all my anxieties about dental work and getting numbed for it and was so understanding and gentle. She was very thorough in explaining my options to address my tooth pain and took her time to listen and answer all my questions. It had been a while since I had my teeth cleaned so I knew a deep cleaning was in order but memories of past experiences had me anxious. Hygienist Kelly was so gentle and concerned for my comfort. I was amazed at how easy and pain free the experience was and how informative Kelly was about the proper way to floss and brush so I can avoid the need for future deep cleanings. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Rakesh and her staff, including Mary at the front desk. I’m so happy to have found a dental office I can trust to treat me right!

Pallavi Rakesh is an engaging and intelligent general and cosmetic dentist serving the communities of Lilburn and Alpharetta in Georgia. Dr. Rakesh attended Bangalore University in India for her undergraduate career, graduating with a degree in dental surgery. She earned her doctorate in dental medicine from Boston University and continues to hone her skills by taking advantage of continuing education courses in dentistry. Dr. Rakesh is a member of the Georgia Dental Association. She has been practicing dental medicine in Georgia since 2007 and is adept at a variety of specializations, particularly dental implant placement, dental pain management, and bone augmentation. Some of the other services she offers include gum surgery, teeth whitening, tooth extractions, and root canals. Dr. Rakesh is married to Rakesh Talanki and has two sons, Aniket and Ishanth. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, hiking, cycling, and hand painting. In fact, Dr. Rakesh’s love and appreciation for painting has spurred her into making an exclusive collection of art pieces in ethnic Indian and contemporary European styles.
