I was referred by a friend and was hesitant to switch dentist. I’ve been going to the same place for 6 years and had no complaints. But eventually I gave in. And let me tell you, no regrets! Adore Dentistry is unlike any other dental office. It’s chic, artsy, but they also make you feel really comfortable. The staff is incredibly nice, they explain everything that’s going on and even show you pictures of your teeth. I’ve never actually looked at my teeth that closely. The cleaning was very thorough and they had all state of the art equipment. Time went by fast Bc I was watching Friends on Netflix and had a warm neck pillow. They discussed my dental insurance coverage and I knew what to expect and what my options were. I look forward to all my future visits with Kim and Dr. Shui.

I have been a loyal customer to Adore Dentistry. The reasons why: because they’re amazing, the dental staff is thorough and patient. I had been wanting to try Invisalign for a few months now. I have crowding on my bottom teeth and of course like everyone, I want that perfect smile! Both of the dentists at Adore Dentistry are the best that I have found here in the Heights. I have sat in most of the dentist chairs in this area over the last 10 years looking for perfection and I believe I have finally found it. I am always hesitant to try a new dental place for many reasons and therefore spent a ton of time researching dentists in the area. I made the switch recently and I’m very satisfied with my initial visit. I felt cared for, listened to, the cleaning was terrific and the staff very kind. But what’s most important to me is the dentist’s knowledge. Dr. Shue showed me through her explanations that she not only grasps the essential of dentistry but that her expertise will guide me to healthy teeth. I will be back for some additional procedures and hope that the positive experience I had the first time will continue. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re nit-picky like me and don’t want to just hand your teeth over to anyone. Figure of speech but you get the drift.

I found Dr. Pham and Dr. Blair going through my insurance’s website of nearby providers since moving back from Chicago, and I’m so happy I randomly found this place. Their office is very unique the moment you walk through the door which gives it that different “Heights” vibe. They have beautiful decor supporting local artists, amenities to keep the little ones entertained, and most importantly, the welcoming staff. Everyone there working appears to be enjoying their job very much, unlike most of us back at home. They use modern equipment that my previous dentists never had, and boy does it make visiting the dentist more enjoyable for a pain free experience. Even my latest visit during covid, they already had new process protocols with new safety equipment in place. I feel terrible because my good friends are dentist and I refuse to make the extra effort to see them because Adore dentistry is so good and close to home.

Not only is this office luxuriously furnished and beautifully designed but the staff is above and beyond in being attentive and kind. They go beyond the standards to make sure you are comfortable while you’re there; and have amenities like ceiling tv’s with Netflix to play whatever will put you at ease, refreshments, warm neck wraps and more. They never made me feel judged for the state of my teeth coming in and they’re all about helping you learn how to take better care of your teeth without making you feel bad. They truly take a genuine interest in caring for you and your teeth at Adore Dentistry and I think that’s the biggest thing. I would recommend this office to anyone and everyone. If you’re scared to come in because of embarrassment or nervous about doctors this is the place to change that.

I don’t usually write reviews but this place deserves one and let’s be real here, nobody likes going to the dentist, nobody. I walked by this place while I was on my way to get donuts and it was a sign because I know I have a lot of cavities that I needed to get fixed from awhile ago and I’ve just been avoiding it. Not to mention they have a mural on the side that says, “I am Love.” I figured they might be friendlier dentists. After going inside, I could already feel the atmosphere, it was family oriented, classy, clean and friendly. They had fricken fruit infused water and snacks available. Most dentists I visit have an awful smell and a dreadful atmosphere. But this place was great! I was greeted by the front desk and let’s just say their customer service is top notch. I’ve worked in customer service so I know exactly what to look for, and they are spot on. I made my appointment and then I went for my donuts. My actual appointment made everything even better. That day I had Dr. Shui and she was just phenomenal. Her bedside manner was also spot on and I could tell she was ethical and actually cared. She also noticed I don’t floss… but she taught me the importance of it and taught me a lot of tips and pointers on how to take better care of myself. Apparently sugar is bad and will ruin your life, just kidding but it will ruin your teeth and she actually took the time to answer all of my questions and didn’t just rush out of the room. We came up with a treatment plan and the work they did was amazing. They were sooooo accomodating with an AMAZING SMELLING heated LAVENDAR pillow. Seriously, get the pillow, you won’t regret it. The assistants I think were Kim and V? I can’t remember their names but they introduced themselves to me and we had some laughs. Just the whole vibe was so family like and I never thought I’d actually enjoy going to the dentist. Still having your mouth open and drilled at isn’t fun, but they made it more pleasant. After talking to them, I also learned that they are environmentally friendly. Okay… now HOW many dental offices do you know of that are environemtnally friendly? I guess I”m just blown away… I did also have a followup with Dr. Nguyen and she is just as awesome as Dr. Shui they both have light hands that work magic with amazing bedside manner. I’m still amazed, sometimes I stop in just to say Hi now and maybe grab some fruit water or snacks, because, why not? Hands down, best dentists ever

I’ve had such a wonderful experience at Adore. I came for a teeth cleaning and was a little nervous after Dr. Blair saw my x-rays and it turned out I have cavities! I’m glad they took a very close look at my teeth and suggested I get a Sonicare toothbrush and pointed out some changes I should make in my eating/coffee drinking habits. I wasn’t sure what to expect for the cavity fillings, but Dr. Pham was constantly checking to make sure I was OK and I didn’t feel any pain! Chelsea and Valerie were so friendly and even let me watch Friends on Netflix 🙂 You won’t have any regrets coming here! The staff will take great care of you.

Very professional and thorough. They have all the perks of a new office including creature comforts while getting work done like neck pillows and Netflix. I like their straight forward approach to proposing work you need done. They assess what you need and let you know and give you options to proceed with knowledge of what your insurance does and doesn’t cover as opposed to pressuring you to get work you don’t need done or doing work and surprising you with a bill afterwards. I also felt like they were very personable which can take the edge off of a nerve racking dentist appointment.

Went to my first visit today and had a great experience. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming from the moment you walk in. I was really anxious about today’s visit as dental appointments cause a lot of anxiety for me, but they did everything possible to make me feel comfortable. It couldn’t have gotten any better. Love everything about Adore dentistry. Brand new office with sustainability in mind and pricing very comparable to older offices that try to get you out as quickly as possible. I was leaving my job and wanted to use my insurance benefits before they expired and Adore was able to fit me in very quickly. I’ve never been to a more detailed dentist before. When you’re spending thousands of dolllars on your teeth (root canals, crown) it is nice to know that someone wants them to be as perfect as you would want them to be yourself. And the office had all the amenities to make my appointment as comfortable as it can be (they have TVs in the ceilings and lavender pillows)!!! I’ve already recommended to all my friends and family and will be back myself!

What’s not to Adore about Adore Dentistry? Located in the Heights, in the newly developed area of 19th Street, this place has the charm and personality to make this your new home for all your dental needs! I was referred by a friend to come see what all the fuss was about! I haven’t been to a dentist in years and was kind of nervous of what to expect. Walking in, the front desk greeted me an energy of an old friend reacquainting. The staff was so kind and interactive and answering all my questions I had for a first time visit. The sitting area was well lit and the walls were lined with paintings from local artist! How cool is that? I knew right away this wasn’t your typical “dental visit”! I quickly filled out all my information on an iPad that they hand you. It was pretty easy and convenient. I was offered refreshments while I wait and they also had a snack stand in case you forgot to eat on your appointment! They called me to do X-rays and let me tell you, the equipment is state of the art! The technician was very professional and walked me step by step through each process. She was certainly thorough! They take their time and it didn’t feel rushed as some other places I’ve been to. It felt like a very personalized experience for me. Which is always a plus! It didn’t have that doctor office feel, but a very nice warm and cozy ambiance! After X-rays, I was seated in a different room where there was a TV in the ceiling! What? A TV?! They asked me what I wanted to watch and attended to all my needs and request. I asked a iPhone charger and they provided me one. Needless to say, when the dentist came in. She introduced herself and explained what she was going to do. After a quick check up she proceeded to clean my teeth. She did a wonderful job of making the whole experience comfortable and exuberated professionalism with each step going on. What an awesome first time experience! No cavities is also another plus! All in all, I had a wonderful experience and now call Adore Dentistry my new home! I also took advantage of their first time client deal!

I’m so glad I made an appointment at this office! I just moved to the Heights, and this office is in a great location! The building is trendy, comfortable and welcoming. The staff was so welcoming the minute you walk in. They took me on a tour of the office before the appointment. They also sell artwork that is displayed throughout the office which is a cool addition. Their technology is very up to date. What really made me feel comfortable is the time the doctor takes with you! She went over my X-rays thoroughly and went over things that previous dentists have never brought to my attention about my teeth. She also performed my cleaning and helped create a treatment plan for some issues I’m having with my teeth. During my appointment, they played calming music and gave me a lavender neck pillow which is such a lovely touch! They have Netflix as an option as well. Cool touches that ensure you are as comfortable as possible. Any anxiety I had about starting at a new dentist is gone and I’m so glad I made an appointment here!

My two children ages 3 and 6 had a fantastic experience at Adore Dental this morning. The front office staff warmly welcomed us, and Dr. Shui did an excellent job explaining what she was doing with the kids (x-rays, teeth exam and cleaning – she also used a pumice mixture to remove old antibiotic staining from my 6 year old’s teeth). I appreciated her detailed explanation of how the health of one’s mouth can affect other areas of the body and have a lasting impact on one’s long term health. We are very happy Adore is in the Heights and look forward to more pleasant visits. At the end, the 3 year old walked out and said “that was fun!” What better vote of approval could there be?!

Our purpose is to change people's lives for the better, one smile at a time, all the while protecting and giving back to our beautiful community. “We are fulfilling our dreams of changing the world through love, one smile at a time.” I was born and raised in New Hampshire, grew up in California and officially became a proud Houstonian 6 years ago. I’ve been in private practice since 2013. Growing up, I always knew how much I loved being around kids, so I obtained my Bacherlor’s in Liberal Arts Elementary School Education at California State University Fullerton intending to be a school teacher. However, one inspirational trip to the family dentist took me on a different direction. I completed my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Western University of Health Sciences. This is where my journey with Dr. Nguyen began. We became best friends during our dental school years, experiencing every aspect of our lives together as roommates, classmates, peers, and now business partners. I have a life-long commitment to advanced education, attending professional lectures, workshops, and conferences all throughout the states. I am also an active member of several dental associations. From my heart to yours, it would be an absolute blessing and honor for us to be your long-term dental team as we continue to impact our communities, together. My passions outside of the practice include sharing beautiful moments with my husband, Matt Blair, and our four awesome Golden Retrievers and one Corgi.
