I’m not sure where to begin on describing how happy & fortunate I feel to be a patient at this practice. Between both Dr. Bertman & Dr. Lyu, my case couldn’t be in better hands in this city! I became a patient of Advanced Dentals Arts in the summer of 2017 when a dental emergency, or nightmare as some would say, happened to me on a Saturday morning. I reached out to the office through a friend’s recommendation and was immediately attended to with guidance on what to do in my current situation and to schedule an appointment for Monday morning. When I went into the office Monday morning, clearly upset about the circumstances, both Dr. Bertman and his Dental Hygienist Carly walked me through my current state and my options to resolve it. Although I was just meeting Dr. Bertman for the first time, he truly treated me like a close friend or family member. He took his time walking me through my options, answering every question I had & ensuring me multiple times that everything was going to workout. I then learned that luck was on my side as Dr. Lyu, who is only in their offices on Mondays, was making time to see me. Once he reviewed my case and heard my concerns, Dr. Lyu walked me through his proposed treatment. After agreeing with everything he said, we jumped right into the procedures. Thinking back I’m still in awe that they were able to provide me with same day results. As I continue to work with Dr. Lyu on my treatment, I’m so impressed with the level of detail and precision he puts towards perfecting my smile. I’ve now been a patient of his for four months and he still remembers apprehensions I expressed during my first visit. He really pays attention to my concerns and opinion. This is a quality I’ve found hard to find in dentists, so am very thankful he exceeds my expectations here. Although I’m considered a patient of Dr. Lyu’s, if I ever have an emergency while he’s not at the office Dr. Bertman will quickly step in to see me and handle the situation with ease. He was not kidding when he told me during my first visit that everything was going to workout, as it has been smooth sailing since becoming a patient of theirs. I’ve been beyond pleased with the results in my treatment thus far and am excited to see my final smile! Whether you’re in a situation like mine or just need to find a practice where you know you’ll be in great hands, I strongly recommend visiting Advanced Dental Arts.

All I could say is that Dr. Bertman ALWAYS exceeds my expectations! He is professional, meticulous, super detailed and honest. He has a great manner with patients and seems to always remember what has/ was/ is going on in the patient’s chair. Being super picky with dentists, I trust him completely with all my dental needs! His office is super organized, helpful, caring and compassionate and always goes the extra mile to help with the right billing for your insurance and always squeezing me in as needed especially when there is a dental emergency. On top of that they always will crack a smile with you. I usually don’t write reviews, period, but he is really fabulous and brings out the best smile ever!

Everyone who works at ADA is friendly an professional from the minute you enter the office. Have never had to wait more that a few minutes to be taken in to the exam room for my appointments. Going to the dentist is never a pleasant experience even when its just for a check-up and cleaning but Dr. Bertman and the rest of the Staff make you feel welcome and as comfortable as can be under the circumstances. You will walk out of your appointment smiling and glad that you chose ADA as your dental office knowing that you have received such excellent care.

Dr. Bertman was recommended during a dental emergency. He rescued my tooth and the delightful interaction won me as a patient. You can trust his work since he is a detail focused professional who somehow manages to keep a great bedside manner- a quality lacking in many NYC dentists. Four years later, I am happy to have him and his network of resources for any dental issue. Book him!!

My experience went above and beyond my expectations! From the first phone call to schedule an appointment to the final walk out the door, I felt very well taken care of. During my consultation, the doctor really took the time to listen to all of my “smile goals” and gave me a very thorough explanation of what the process would be…Turns out what I thought I needed to get done wasn’t the best way and I’m so thankful I was told about all of my options. To be honest, I actually had other consultations scheduled elsewhere but after such an amazing experience (that I can’t rave enough about), I don’t feel the need to go anywhere else! I never do recommendations unless I’m absolutely confident in the product/service but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to everyone for any dental needs! Can hardly wait for my next appt and getting another step closer towards my dream smile!

Wow! What an experience. I was recommended to come here by a friend of mine who is a dentist. He said they are the best. I have an implant that needs very specialized care. So they scheduled me for a free consultation. Every interaction I had with the office was friendly, professional and super nice. They took me on time, and the office was beautifully designed and super clean. The staff new exactly what I needed done and how to do it and most of all they listened to me and what my concerns were. I’m scheduled for a follow up and I know I made the right decision. I highly recommend Advanced Dental Arts. I’m actually excited to have my tooth drilled here 🙂

Like many people, going to the dentist is something that as far as I can remember, terrified me whether it was in France or in New York, in the most sophisticated and qualified practices or at my good friend’s dental office… I just hated it and always postponed my dental treatments! Well, until I arrived at Advanced Dental Arts, doctor Todd Berman ‘s practice, where, believe it or not, I love going! And same for my kids! From the moment when you enter in the cute building where Advanced Dental Arts is located, to the welcoming receptionist’s smile followed by doctor Berman ‘s entertaining and motivated energy or the staff’s constant attention and interest in making you feel happier and better, the experience is both professional, relaxing and even entertaining… and in addition they get the job done fast and with the best financial advice and documentation!

An actual dentist office I enjoy visiting! Everyone who works there is friendly, helpful, and you can tell they all really enjoy their work. Dr. Bertman is great, I never feel like he is trying to sell me on doing something I don’t need. He looks for the best options and genuinely cares about making you happy with the results. It’s been so hard for me to find a dental practice in the city that I like and trust. It’s a relief that I found them, and I fully recommend them to anyone looking for a great dentist and team that make the usually dreadful task of going to the dentist enjoyable. (Yes, enjoyable!) They have a great location too, very easy to get to from anywhere in Manhattan.

I’m a loyal customers of Dr Bertman and his teeth. Been coming here for over 10 years and will not change. Coming to his practice is a complete experience, from the moment you walk in to experience the chic decor, the friendly staff and the most professional team of doctors and hygienist. I not only come here for my bi-annual Cleanings but I’ve done my Invisalign treatment which correctly my teeth into a perfect smile. An all around excellent experience. I’ve been a patient at Advanced Dental Arts for a few years, and I continue to be impressed by the A+ quality of the dental care and the caring and attentive nature of the staff.
