In the past year, I moved to Colorado and had to take the daunting task of finding a new dentist – Yikes!  Well, I found the best dentist!!  Dr. Todd is everything you would ever want in your dentist: he knows his stuff (!!), kind, gentle and explains everything.  He and his staff are well informed and could not make a terrible situation (going to the dentist is not going to the park) a fabulous and pain-free time. Their office has movies and besides the pain killers they use, this is the very best distraction!  If you are looking for a new dentist, you will not go wrong by using this business and having Dr. Todd as your dentist.

Thank goodness I found this place! I went to a dentist and had a horrible experience with them giving me some fillings. Well of course one of the poorly done fillings fell out on a Saturday and I called Advanced Family Dental and they squeezed me in without me even being a patient of theirs. The doc replaced the filling that feel out and a second filling that was hurting (also from the previous dentist). It was nice to find a good dentist after the experience I had before. It’s so scary to know crappy dental offices exist, but Advanced Family Dental is actually interested in helping its patients.

Great practice. Very professional and friendly. We have never experienced any problems with insurance and they are very thorough explaining benefits and costs. We have recently moved and luckily they have a sister office in Erie. They are taking care of transferring all our records. Highly recommend them.

I can’t say enough about how great this office is…….their staff must take nice pills they’re all so amazing. We had our first appt when they opened back up from the COVID closing and they have such a clean, secure office. We were greeted at the door where they took our temp and then we could go in usually it is one at a time but my husband and I had appts at the same time since we live together that was okay. Everything about our appts were top notch.

Lets face it….pretty much everyone hates going to the dentist, including me. I’ve been going to Advanced Family Dental for a little over a year and can honestly say they do a fantabulous job at keeping my chompers clean. Gabby has been my hygienist and she always takes her time and does a wonderful job. I get mild plaque build up on my lower bottom teeth between cleanings, but they are visibly clean and shiny when she is finished. The dental office is cozy and modern, front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. The dentists there do not up-sell at all, and even commented that a crown I had received from a prior dentist was not a treatment he would have recommended. If you’re in the market for a great dentist and top notch hygienists, (Who isn’t?!?) then this is the place for you!

I got a postcard in the mail from Advanced Family Dental, I was looking for another dentist so I decided to check it out. The important things to me and my family were 1. the care 2. the cost 3. did they try to sell us products that we did not really need. Gabby was my hygienist, she was so thorough and caring, she did not try and sell me any products. She was honest and trustworthy and I knew that I could trust her with my care. I am glad I go the postcard in the mail and made the change, it was definitely for the better!

I was at work and at 5:45pm my tooth broke I googled dentist near my home and Advanced Dental showed up, I saw they at late hours on Wednesday night and called to see if the were able to get me in. I was able to get a 7pm appointment work let me leave. Advanced dental was wonderful the staff rocks they were able to put a temporary crown on. Very clean friendly and they have screens to watch while work is being done. Highly recommended

The office staff is always so nice and friendly here. Every time I’ve gone in they always greet me and make sure I’m checked in right away. The hygienists and assistants are very skilled and gentle, making sure I’m comfortable and relaxed. Dr. Todd is awesome and a perfectionist! I had a horrible experience at another dentist and hadn’t been seen for a few years, he made me feel at ease and not afraid to come back

This has been the cleanest and most comfortable dentist’s office I’ve been to in a long time. The staff are super friendly and positive, and really went the extra mile; from helping me figure out my insurance the first time, to giving me pointers on tooth care, to never making me waste away in the lobby. A great team all around

From the moment you walk in the door until the time you leave the office, you are made to feel welcome. The dentist and team seek to ensure that their patients feel heard, respected, and receive excellent care. They are skilled at allaying anxiety and putting their patients at ease. Having received care from both dentists at this practice, I highly recommend both of them.

Dr. Mathison is a great dentist.  We have been seen by him for over a year now, and we can’t say enough good about his professional treatment.  my 10 year old was absolutely terrified of having his teeth worked on because of a previous dentist. Dr . Mathison made his visit so pleasant that he is no longer afraid to go. My 21 year old daughter absolutely loves how gentle he is with her. If you’re looking for a great dentist that cares about you and will take care of you then Dr. Mathison is your guy.

Dr. Matheson is the complete opposite of what you think about when you hear the word dentist. He has exceeded our expectations. My husband hates dentist and without me having to force him to schedule an appointment for a cleaning, he did it himself because he feels comfortable with him. Then he was a complete miracle when it came to my son. He was so patient and caring when my son had a bit of an emergency. Dr. Matheson isn’t a normal “dentist”. He is DENTAL NINJA!

So I didn’t go to the dentist for 15 years. I had a mean POS of a dentist growing up. My teeth fell apart. I’m 30. I realized I have to do something NOW. Dr. Todd didn’t guilt trip me for my past. He gave me a road map forward. I just finished my last of 4 treatments. It was painless. It was priced fairly. Dr. Todd doesn’t settle with the bear minimum. He makes sure it is fixed. He looks towards the patients’ best interest.

I have been coming to this dental office for several years. I originally chose it due to its location. I have since switched my children also to this practice. I cannot say enough good things about how kind the dentists, hygienists, assistants, and office staff all are. I also love the flexibility of the hours they have. I usually have Dr Matheson but recently have had Dr Lazaroff and both are super kind and take the time to explain things and are gentle during procedures

I have been going to Advanced Family Dental for about four years now and was in need of some extensive dental work. There is no one I would trust more than Dr Todd. I received the best care before during and after, I even received a call from Dr Todd later that evening to make sure that I had everything needed to continue my recovery. From check ups to cleanings and other needed procedures I have always trusted that I have and would receive great care.

Had a very good experience with doctor peter. And Colleen made me feel very comfortable. Decided to make him my new dentist. Not only did colleen make me feel comfortable she also helped me to make my next appointment. Will highly recommended doctor Peters and colleen to all my family and friends. These people are wonderful! From the office staff to the dental hygienists and Dr. Todd Matheson…very kind, caring and professional. Everything is clearly explained, they are patient with anxious patients as myself, ha! Dr. Todd is meticulous and takes pride in getting everything just right. He will do all possible to save a tooth before performing more complicated procedures. I highly recommend Advanced Family Dental!

Actually this is Scott Wright. My experience was excellent. You got me in the same day I called, gave me options for treatment and fixed the problem quickly. Although my insurance didn’t cover the procedure, the cost was very reasonable. The tech and Dr Todd explaned every detail, took x rays and even explained why he was using the type of cement he was using. Also, everyone is very friendly. You can tell they get along and help each other, including the dentists.
