I finally found a great dentist that I feel comfortable and at ease with. She treated me like a person and took the time to resolve all my questions and concerns.  She has a great energy and put me at ease.  I can honestly say that I almost fell asleep during my cleaning it was that relaxing.  I love this office.

Melissa Concepcion was the doctor who ended up seeing me, and she was wonderful! While I am a weirdo who actually really enjoys going to the dentist, this visit was above and beyond – everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and I felt very much at home. The one thing I’ll say is that Dr. Concepcion was a tiny bit rougher with the scraping instruments during my cleaning than I would have expected. I’m someone who enjoys that part of the cleaning (again, I’m a weirdo), and I’m usually unfazed by a bit of roughness on the gums, but I did bleed a little more than usual this time. Nothing drastic, and I’m still an extremely satisfied patient, but I wanted to put that out there for the benefit of folks with more sensitive gums

To say that Dr. Berdan is great, is an understatement. He is that exceedingly rare combination of superbly skilled in his craft and highly empathetic. There are professionals and there are those who have kindness. To possess the two is rarer than you think. I have had dental issues of all stripes since early childhood. Cavities, root canals, several bad infections, periodontal disease and overall decay. So suffice it to say I have come across many dentists. Some were good, more were indifferent, some unskilled and a couple of dangerous hacks who left me with serious health issues, and a raging white coat syndrome. Which is when, a year ago I came into Dr. Berdan’s office. His bedside manner, genuine attention to his patients, being very detailed about what you are getting and why it is necessary, his calm and humorous ways during the exam, and kindness were akin to my finally having found the dental Holy Grail! After 4+ decades of living in pain, at times unbearable, always on edge for the next onslaught, here was a doctor who not only made me pain free, but who operated with such finesse and precision that I never had any side affects and never needed pain killers post op. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention May who runs the office from the front desk, who is very nutrturing in how she speaks to you, who will hold your hand if you come in deathly affraid of the chair. She’s an integral part of the practice. Her caring and empathy are, too, genuine. I really can’t express the profound impact having found Dr. Berdan has had on my health and overall quality of life. For the first time ever I do not live in pain! Because my gums are healthy and my teeth cavity free, I feel better about myself. Some things can only be measured in the intangibles. Dr. Berdan is a treasure. I’m very lucky to be his patient!

Dr. Berdan is incredibly kind, honest, and willing to work with you in regards to your needs, and never pushes services on you. His office as a whole is great about requesting insurance quotes, giving you maximum no-interest periods on Care Credit, and just generally keeping you as well-informed as possible.
