So I came here to be checked out while I head a very painful canker sore, one inside the mouth very annoying. It is hard to eat hard to talk etc. if you had one you know what I’m talking about, Ok, my appt at 1 o clock i left early noon from my place, got there in 10 minutes including parking. I was able to fill out my paper work and get back in the chair by 12:25. The doctor saw me and explained the hygenist can laser my canker sore to kill the bacteria. I was apprehensive because even water hurts this darn thing. i said ok.. reluctantly, being afraid that a LASER would be painful, right?! nope, i did not feel anything, the hygenist (Gloria) kept checking in with me to make sure I was ok with the laser, asked me if I felt any heat. made sure i was comfortable. After a few passes with the laser, i have to say the initial pain I felt was gone ( in other words the pain I walked in with). I could not believe it. As i paid for my service outside 35.00 for the laser- well worth it..  for no more pain, i was greeted by the front desk gal very friendly , charged me, asked me if everything went well, really made me feel like she cared. as i was leaving the hygenist popped out of the door to make sure all the pain was gone, i said yes and thanked her again for helping me. Just a few days have passed and still no more pain, it is healing and I feel so much better, As embarrassing as this is to write, I wanted to share it as I never knew you could treat a canker sore with anything. She also said she can do the same with the ones on the outside of the mouth the whole cold sore thing. I am so thankful for this find, i hope this helps anyone else that has this issue!
