My husband needed someone to fix his mouth after a botched job of his teeth being extracted for dentures. Dr. Akridge was the Super Hero who helped save his mouth. Her entire staff is outstanding in talent and service. It was not a hard decision for me to seek her services for myself. My appt with her was just as satisfying and pleasing as when I took my husband. I am thrilled we have the peace of mind of belonging to such a top-notch office. Friendly,knowledgeable staff with a great sense of humor. I always have a good laugh during my visit. I like the fact that Dr. Akridge keeps close tabs on my teeth, watching ones that might possibly need more attention in the future, but is not an alarmist. Also, the office is beautiful and clean and they have all the latest technology to give you the best possible care. This was my first visit to Ackridge Dental. It was a very pleasant one. I had a crown come out and needed to have it checked out. They were able to make an appointment for the next day. All of my new patient forms were able to be done on my phone very easily. When I arrived the staff was very friendly and helpful from the person at the front desk, the one who took the x-rays and the person who cleaned my teeth. Dr Ackridge and everyone were helpful in explaining my options for replacing the crown. I am very happy with the service I received and Ackridge Dental will be where I go for the foreseeable future.

This dental office is awesome. It’s like walking in to see your family. The whole staff are the sweetest kindest people you will ever meet. Dr Ackridge is very professional but at the same time genuinely concerned for your comfort. Sweetest person you will ever meet. And Wanda the dental hygienist is the best. So sweet and kind. Went in for a crown set and cleaning. I walked in and was pleasantly greeted by Miss Cindy and Dr. Akridge both, nice to see smiling face first thing on a Monday. A few minutes later Miss Gentle Judy came to get me, she too was most pleasant. Then came Miss Kim to help out as well. Again I cannot say enough for or of Akridge Family Dental. First of all, everything here is top of the line. The waiting room is clean and cute, and had lots of fun books for the little ones. All the equipment they use is super high tech and even your sign in process is all computerized and efficient. The wait time was minimal and they were very professional yet so personable! Every single person in the staff treats you so sweet. They even let my daughter watch as I got my teeth cleaned and then did hers. They were so great, she was begging for it to be her “turn”! They are so knowledgeable and told and showed me things about my teeth no other dentist has caught! They are simply the best!

I’m currently sitting in one of the comfortable chairs in this newly built establishment, and I’m thoroughly impressed. When I initially called to inquire about pricing, the young lady was upfront and honest, and very polite. And what she had to say about the cost of services didn’t hurt either. They seem write reasonable for someone like myself who is currently without dental insurance (I may update after getting the final bill, however). There wasn’t a long wait after I got here. I haven’t once been criticized about my less-than-perfect hygiene habits (lol!). And on top of everything, this place is beautfiul, filled with some of the most high-tech, high-end looking equipment I’ve ever seen. I would certainly recommend you give this practice a chance.
